Don’t sleep on this one
Dec 24, 2020 EDITED: After several updates and quality of life changes, I continue to find myself returning to play this game. More options for customization and a wider breath of options for multiple layout saves, as well as weapon upgrading have changed my previous 2 star, to a shining 4 star review. There is always room for improvement and I can’t wait to see what comes next! O.P: Was having fun with this one until my upgrade progress was continually deleted or reverted, even after in game currencies were spent, and not refunded. Also, castle configurations were reverted as well after app was closed then reopened for play later in the day. Today I find that the app is now fully crashing upon startup, devs need to resolve these issues ASAP, as they have something quite interesting here. Will update my review after patches and updates are implemented.more -

Feb 12, 2021 Very cool concept, but the physic of the game is very bad. Then there is a lack of upgrade very fast and the treasure system is deficient(no difference between level 1 and 2 treasure) Would give a 5 stars if the game was closer to a simulation than random.more -

Sep 23, 2020 I have made it to level 19. I like that the attacking turrets are ai controlled. The battles are quick paced. I like the idea of combining towers to get upgrades, and having only so much power to utilize. I don’t understand why the shields are so expensive to run. You automatically lose when all offensive capabilities are destroyed. Tier 1 is 60, tier 2 is 160, and tier 3 shield cost 290. At lvl 19 I have 930 power. I can hardly use any of my better equipment. As someone who played before the change in shield cost and liked how the balance was set up, I probably won’t play any more, but I do recommend for others who will start with what the build is now.more

Mar 1, 2021 Changed the treasure chest costs midway making it easier for new joiners but wasting all progress for others. I lost treasury upgrades as well. Was interesting till that point, now its all unplanned updates to the game and there is just no winning and no point playing.more -

At the beginning your kingdom will be destroyed, but you and some of your people persevered, so you are starting from zero. You are lucky to have own advisor (he approach you with "Your Highness") who will help you to rebuild the kingdom...more -

Sep 21, 2020 Having said that, it needs improvements. The timing in some cannons or defenses are off sometimes. Also I think you guys should make the cannons or catapults or any of the offenses manually shot. Meaning the player pulls back on them, aims, and releases to fire. I used to play a game called fortress fury and that’s how they did it and it was a very fun game. It adds skill to the mix. And it would solve the timing issue. Also, I think you should be able to put catapults and stuff on ground level!more -

Jan 20, 2021 Would be better if some of the mechanics were even fair. I get killed by my own t2 shield more than i do enemy turrets. Or rocks that move at a snails pace or barely move and instantly destroy my turret or block. Or my turret gets destroyed while inside my shield or a split second before my shield goes up. Random arrows go haywire as well and fly around the map if hit by a shield sometimes as well. Way to grind heavy as well. Had this game for a week and am barely progressing. 18H+ per upgrademore -
Feb 7, 2021 Decent game just missing a lot of things right now and also has an atrocious match up system with my level 16 castle going up against level 20-25 which seem to have far more abilities than myself. Fix this and it would be a much fairer and better game. Update: thank you for your response but it doesn't change the fact that I shouldn't be up again people 11 levels higher than me, I should just be winning on a much fairer scale, ur suggesting that making my castle worse will reuslt in easier matchmore -

Sep 24, 2020 This update made it impossible to win. I was using 2 tier 2 shields to make it possible to not have my turrets destroyed but after this “balance” its impossible because they went from moderately overvalued to extortion levels(doubling the cost when there’s already not enough points to go around is a stupid play). Yet somehow all the enemies I ran into have as many guns and shields as before....what you SHOULD do is remove the limiters on castle design because the matchmaking was more than good enough to account for using what we have. Oh and decrease cannon time because they aren’t nearly as useful as they should be despite taking so many points.more -

What’s Groovy
This game is absolutely awesome! I've been playing for a few days now and I'm still learning new things. I love being defeated and going back and tweaking my castle to adapt to higher level players. It is very fair game play in here, anyone crying about unfair game play is still on mommy's teet. This game has so much potential, I hope the devs keep improving it and see the success it deserves. 1 Thing I'd like to have as an option. Rematches- oh... I so wanna take on player 10554 again. 😅

What’s Subpar
The idea behind the game play is fantastic. However the devs made several choices that wreck the experience. First, when you do a pvp match there is no level limit on your opponents so expect to face people 25 or more levels higher than you. In this game each level lets you use more powerful equipment and more of it. More recently you can loose matches (when you get a fair match up) even when all of your weapons, troops and rooms are still intact. Bottom line great theory, horrible reality

I’ve been playing for a day now and I love it. The balance between everything in the game. The battles are quick paced. One of my favorite parts though is that the game is not overly monetized. You get an ad maybe every 5-8 games and they’re not long. Getting to watch ads to unlock the extra chest items is a good move. Seriously check the game out.

Lots of fun, one of the only app games I havent deleted after playing for a day and a half. They're still making updates so it should only get better.

I’ve been playing for a day now and I love it. The balance between everything in the game. The battles are quick paced. One of my favorite parts though is that the game is not overly monetized. Easy enough to understand and fun battles. Wish I could watch a video to remove wait times for bread so I can battle more. -
Game is a great concept that has been executed decently so far. I see this game becoming big if the devs stick with it. Also, the price of micro transactions are a bit high for what is being offered.

Really fun but can be even better
I love the original Castle Crashers on armor games, so this is definitely brin back memories. But now you have your own castle and you battle others which is so fun. But it would be even better with a alliance system set up and a campaign. Add some quest and other sorts of things to keeps players interested. Like tournaments and wars for the alliances. But overall it is a good game and is still in beta and needs work, but with suggestions like these. This could be a really great game -
Its a great game, can’t wait to see it grow
It has easy mechanics, that are AI all you do is set their targets. Great game with a good timing and smooth transitions. Ads exist but is few and far between (you really only get them when you are getting supplies), plus you don’t need to really pay for boosts of any sort! It really is a good game to play if your into mindless destruction, plus now adays it’s rare to have a game ad actually be real gameplay. -
GREAT GAME!!! Can continue to play even without food and still get experience for levels Will give 5 stars when I can get more than 2 workers. And when I can complete the quest of map fragments that iv been on over a week. I play hours a day open 5 or more chest a day have only got 1 fragment

You completely ruined the omega mages blackhole, before the update the blackhole was truly devastating to your enemies, now it opens 50 feet above the middle of the screen usually closer to my castle than theirs and destroys my castle with little to no damage to theirs -
Great game for wasting time. Unfortunately I can only give it 3 stars. I upgraded my phone to the galaxy s21 ultra and now the game will not load. It will not connect to the servers. Once the issue is resolved I will modify back to 5 stars

Played for an hour and it was great. Came back later and all it did was crash. Tried resetting phone, reinstalling app, but it just crashed when loading very time. -

Decent game just missing a lot of things right now and also has an atrocious match up system with my level 16 castle going up against level 20-25 which seem to have far more abilities than myself. Fix this and it would be a much fairer and better game. Update: thank you for your response but it doesn't change the fact that I shouldn't be up again people 11 levels higher than me, I should just be winning on a much fairer scale, ur suggesting that making my castle worse will reuslt in easier match

Great game. They finally added 4th teir items wich is great but its extremly unbalanced, especially after the most recent update.

Boring , slow progression , grinding for little or no reward. Very glitchy frustrating building .

Would be better if some of the mechanics were even fair. I get killed by my own t2 shield more than i do enemy turrets. Or rocks that move at a snails pace or barely move and instantly destroy my turret or block. Or my turret gets destroyed while inside my shield or a split second before my shield goes up. Random arrows go haywire as well and fly around the map if hit by a shield sometimes as well. Way to grind heavy as well. Had this game for a week and am barely progressing. 18H+ per upgrade

I can’t even play
The reason why the title is I can’t even play is because I can’t it literally kicked me out right when I get to the title screen

Changed the treasure chest costs midway making it easier for new joiners but wasting all progress for others. I lost treasury upgrades as well. Was interesting till that point, now its all unplanned updates to the game and there is just no winning and no point playing.

This game is extremely unbalanced and is set up to make money with ads poping up ever two or three battles. The match making is completely broken and they have this nonsense that limits your growth.

This update made it impossible to win. I was using 2 tier 2 shields to make it possible to not have my turrets destroyed but after this “balance” its impossible because they went from moderately overvalued to extortion levels(doubling the cost when there’s already not enough points to go around is a stupid play). Yet somehow all the enemies I ran into have as many guns and shields as before....what you SHOULD do is remove the limiters on castle design because the matchmaking was more than good enough to account for using what we have. Oh and decrease cannon time because they aren’t nearly as useful as they should be despite taking so many points. -

Game freezes at loading screen.
Once you accept the Terms and Conditions after the solash screen, the game ceases to load past the initial screen featuring the wizard flanked by two torches. Nothing is clickable, no text appears on screen, and nothing happens at all.
