Best decision I ever made
Nov 7, 2017 This company has helped me so much. Very easy to work with. Approved me for everything I needed. They will now get all of my business. I have a credit card with them, personal loan, auto loan, checking and savings, and one credit card that I used to pay off all of my other cards. I don’t have the best credit. But my credit is not terrible. I have 0 late payments on my credit. No one else would approve me for all of this but they did. Thank you.more -
Such a Great Experience
Dec 20, 2018 I’m brand new to Shell FCU, and the experience has been fantastic so far! Everyone at the branch is extremely helpful, and the app makes managing my accounts so much easier! I love the indication icons for pending transactions versus posted transactions. Makes glancing at my account so easy. Totally recommend this for everyone!more -
Sep 2, 2020 Shell is a great credit union its simple to set up an account the app is pretty easy to use but it was a surprise to find I couldn't link my external account until its been open 3 months that was a downside for the fact I live a good distance and would like to make transaction online rather than driving to make depositsmore -

Nov 2, 2017 My father signed me up as a member in 1963 when SCFU was located on Ivy street. I have been associated with them since, and have no regrets. They have helped me through good and tough times and I am forever grateful to them. I recommend them as a financial institution for anyone who just needs someone to listen and understand their financial needs.more -

Nov 2, 2020 What kind of banking app doesn't have a 'help' button?? Compared to my other banking apps, this one is the least user friendly. I'm trying to set up auto payments for my loan online and the are no directions on what to do. -
Sep 4, 2020 The only real problem I have with the bank is that every month they keep changing me a $5 bad address fee so I have to call and have them remove it. It gets old in a hurry. I will say that I'm thinking about changing bank's. I don't think I should have to go through this every monthmore -
When it works, it's great!
Aug 2, 2017 Half the time when I try to access my account either by the quick balance or full access, it times out and can't connect and my phone has either 5 full bars of service or connected to wifi. When it does work it is a time saver but it's annoying when it doesn't work and I have to find other means to access my account balances.more -
Jul 23, 2020 Constant problems since you changed to vista either shell technical support is clueless and they work extremely hard to resolve problems or Visa is a poor choice!! -
Dec 17, 2019 I always loved the app. But now that now and more phones are moving to face recognition instead of finger print, if like to see another option instead of typing in a password each time. It gets kind of hectic when you are logging in to multiple accounts daily for various reasons.more

Love the App Love My Credit Union!
Jan 31, 2019 Love the features on the app! I can disable my debit cards, and search most transactions. I especially love Shell FCU the customer service is amazing, and they treat me like a person. I can actually talk to someone that understands me, and might even live in my city. I recommend Shell to all my family and friends.more

Jul 30, 2020 Works well a good majority of the time. Occasionally I get locked out, or the wait time for the app to open is incredibly long. Other than that, I love all of the features (like mobile deposit, quick balance, etc). -
Jul 29, 2020 Great Bank app. Could use a little transparency. Typically i can find what i need if i look hard enough. Please add text alerts when purchases are made. Thanks. -
Needs extra support
Jun 15, 2020 I love how easy and convenient it is, but wish the app supported Rooted/Jailbroken devices. I know it’s a “security” reason but that’s why you have Face ID and Touch ID or 2 step authentication. Don’t let the competitors have this available and approve the able to run the app on a jailbroken/rooted device please.more -

The app is not user friendly for 2018
Sep 21, 2018 I mean this in the most positive way but the biometric fingerprint scan is almost obsolete now with most phones be able to do facial recognition. I wish the app had the option for both the fingerprint in the facial recognition. I don’t like the “ send money “ task. My other financial institutions BOA and NFCU and friends all use Zelle. But I am happier with the app. I hate trying to go to the location.more -
Great credit union
Feb 19, 2018 I’ve been a member 25 years , the only issue I’ve ever had was they haven’t verified boat insurance on a loan 2x and charged me a large sum of money that I had to fight to get taken off. Used to they would have called me to verify but I guess companies are all just getting too big and miss things that are important to members but other than that they do a good job.more -

What’s Groovy
I like it!! Didn't have a clue that my credit union would have an app but so thankful they let me know. It is user friendly and lets me do what I need to do with convenience! ***EDIT*** 7/29/2020 - I have been using this app without issue. No problems logging in, making transfers, paying bills, etc. - Still really enjoying this app!

What’s Subpar
This app needs an update. Cannot use this to transfer money, all it does is repeatedly ask you to sign in, then it shuts down.
