Not only did the founder/ people behind the app submit a photo to get a diagnosis from a doctor for me after my payment kept being declined, they payed for it no expense to me. I’m grateful and I would recommend this app to anyone because they truly care about their customers 😇

Pictures are sometimes blurry and it’s hard to keep still if you’re taking a mole in a place that’s difficult to reach, for example the back but the diagnosis and the experience is good
  • If you have a 10-point scale, this application is worth 10/10 Feb 18, 2020

A fairly accurate diagnosis of my skin through a mole check. Thanks developers for this app!

I’ve tried a few different ones here I switch between them to compare results. I like the scanoma app and switching to the front camera would be handy

Nice application that provides the platform to track your skin. Now I can easily share my skin care details with others.

Love it...... Sorry for the silly question, but if it says 92% not concerning, that means it's not a 92% chance that it is something, correct? Lol

I used this app after recommending my friends. It has been proved to be very helpful for my skin. Just a simple step and all is done. Thanks team!

I tried a few different skin scanning apps in the store. This one is particularly effective, has a great design, and is free. I recommend this one

Haven't been able to actually use the app, because I can't turn the flash off. I already turned it off on my phone camera app, and I tried the front view camera but can't get a good pic cause the view is blurry, but at all clear.

The camera can only do so much. The results change for the same spot depending on the lighting, angel, and clarity. If you pay $23 a dermatologist will look at it and tell you to go see a dermatologist lol. Save your money for your copay/coinsurance. Hopefully this does encourage people to get their skin checked by a dermatologist!
  • Please fix the App! It just won’t work. May 3, 2021

    By Lisalisa110
I will gladly write a proper review if the app will work. I snap my photo then try to sign in, the app just will not process me thru to log in and begin. This is the one app I really wanted. Seems to offer the best features. I’ve downloaded 2 other apps and both have confirmed my calf lesion(s) as 99% positive to be cancerous.
  • Why can’t we flip the camera?? Nov 17, 2020

I have a spot in question that is in an incredibly difficult area to see ... not to mention try to take a photo of with the way they have the camera. Allow us to be able to flip the camera! I can’t get a good photo otherwise...

This app is a joke. It doesn’t specify where they get the images they “compare” yours too. It’s based off of photo quality as well as the camera detail. Go to a doctor to get it looked at by a professional. Took a picture of a pimple and it told me it was 89% concerning. 😂
  • Not sure how valid.. Jul 19, 2020

I took a picture of the same mole twice. The first one came up 60% concerning and the second came home 98% benign. Either way I plan on following up with my dr but I do question the validity of this app
  • Not safe Sep 22, 2020

Never rely on an app like this! It’s fine to document skin photos, however, it said my lesion was “100% benign” and ended up being melanoma. Glad I still went and had it checked out.

This app is a scam! No matter what you take a picture of it will tel you there is a concern just to get your money. I took a picture of my pants and it said it was 100% concerning. People come to this app for actual help. Edit: Nice try... I did scan my mole first that came back as 71% concerning. I’ll go to a actual dr for less than $24 and they can look over all my moles not just one. The only thing that concerns me is your app.

Useful for single moles but there is no way to organize all the skin spots, moles and rashes and differentiate between them.

I took me a few tries to get an image that was blurry and sometimes the results were inconsistent but after trying some times it worked very well. I will show the results to my doctor and maybe change my review.

App definitly offers some usefuleness and is easy to use but it's not free to send an image to a doctor.

  • Formulaic and unclear doctor responses Jul 22, 2020

    By Veroniquelquesha
The doctor responses that we paid for appeared to be cut-and-pasted because they were identical for the two different moles we submitted. The responses were very unclear. It was more of a lecture on moles than any information particular to the two specific moles we submitted.

I took a picture of a mole that is new. The AI says 78% concerning. Uh oh, glad I tried the app! Wait, what happens if I take a picture of a mole that has been there for 30 years? 68% concerning. 🤔 One more try. I take a picture of my bare hand. No moles or spots - just my pure beautiful skin. 👋🏻 92% concerning! Either the AI is very poorly calibrated or it has detected my invisible hand cancer. Or maybe the app is just designed to sell second opinions for $23.

Scanned a single new mole.Scanned it seven different times within a span of three minutes. The determination ranged from 90% concerning to 98% benign.
