Control you Samsung Smart TV using your android smartphone. App can control TV using WiFi & infrared blaster. iSamSmart app is easy to use and provides all standard Samsung Smart tv remote functions.
Make sure phone & TV are in same local WiFi network.
App works with 2016+ Samsung TV models and make sure to update TV firmware if you encounter connectivity issue.
When app connects for the first time, please provide authorization by using physical remote of TV. This authorization is one time, however if you decline or forgot to authorize please navigation TV menu as below and Allow app remote.
Menu -> General -> External Device Manager -> Device Connection Manager
App lists all streaming channels like Netflix, Youtube, Amazon Prime..anything on your TV listed on your phone and you can quickly launch streaming app from the tip of your phone.
8 Favorite Streaming channels can be set and can be quickly accessed in Remote Screen.
All TV remote function buttons like Source, Menu, Sleep, Guide, Tools,
Joystick Arrows, Volume Up, Volume Down, Mute, Channel Up, Channel Down, Return, Exit, Player functions like Play, Pause, Stop, Forward, Backward buttons are available.
Number keypad to quickly access new channel.

Feb 15, 2021 Will connect to my un65nu8000 but will not stay connected. It finds the tv and I accept it on the tv. The app displays the tv name and connect for a short time. Then I have to rescan and it doesn’t find the tv anyone. Can someone contact me?more -

Meh.. I can't find my remote to power up my samsung tv. And this app will not discover my tv unless it's powered on.. All I wanted was a BT remote.. this is just like the others.

As I downloaded this app, I was hoping it would work because my brother actually lost our remote. But when I tried this thing, It couldn't even scan my TV. It just said "Please check your Wi-Fi is the same as the TV or make sure it is on." My TV was on and it had a perfect Wi-Fi connection as my phone. I kept scanning and it said the same thing over. Do not download this app, it is a waste of time, and I had to learn the hard way.

The buttons don't even work! Its literally a picture of a remote and its only the bottom half, doesnt even show the smart/home button. No other features.
