This is one of those apps that should be a staple on every movie-watcher’s phone (so, basically, every phone). It provides very useful and concise information without risk of exposing you to spoilers. Worth every penny (for the value of what you get out of this app, the price is far better than fair - and they provide very flexible options for any type of user). I just updated to the most recent version of the app, which was described as a complete overhaul of the previous versions. IMO, the user interface is now even easier to navigate and I can see that no sacrifices were made to quality or performance. Hats off to all involved with this project! I’ve had the app for several years, but I don’t think I created an account until ‘20. I will be a fan for life, I highly recommend 😊 🙌👏🙌

I had a friend tell me about this app several years ago and once I tried it I was in love. I love to have a soda and popcorn or snack when I watch a movie - but that also means I can’t make it through the movie without having to leave to go pee. This app not only tells you the best time to leave to go pee, but how long you have, a brief synopsis of what you will miss and a couple other pee times where you will miss less. It also tells you if there are extra scenes after the movie. I think this is the first review i have done for an app - because i love it so much and wanted to share so others can enjoy it too.

  • Just what I’ve always needed! Mar 31, 2021

I’m a huge movie fan, and this app is what I’ve always needed! I hate guessing when the best time to “run pee”, and then trying to figure out what I’ve missed. Or, timing when I can have a drink so I don’t leave during an important scene. I love and appreciate the vibration mode, the quick summary of the scene, and the timed “pee run”! Thank you to the whole Run Pee family for making my movie experience that much better! I jokingly tell my friends and family this is the best app for people with small bladders, but it’s useful to everyone!

Going to the movies is a fun experience, but drinking a 96oz soda has its side effects halfway through a 2h 45min movie. Enter Peetime, which tells you the best time to ditch out for a minute or two, whether it’s to refill your popcorn or refund your soda. On top of that, it has simple reviews and information on the latest movies, it’s more useful than IMDB and AMC’s apps combined.

I love the idea of this app, but I have beef with the notification aspect. Be aware that if you want to use the feature where it gives you a heads-up when you can actually, you know, run and pee, you have to have your iPhone UNLOCKED and with the RINGER ON. I've got all possible notification buttons turned on for this app in Settings, but the only way my phone will vibrate when the pee break arrives is if the phone is unlocked and the app is open and running. Won't work if the phone is on Vibrate; won't work if the phone is on Do Not Disturb; won't work if you've even turned off the screen. So basically, for the Alert feature to work, you have to sit there with a fully-on phone in your lap, turned screen-down so the light doesn't bother people. It completely defeats the purpose. I know the technology exists to allow the app to run in the background and nudge me even if I've turned off the screen. This is ridiculous. You're better off using the app to get the timing and then setting your phone's alarm to buzz you gently at the pee break. It's nuts. The app has good information about the movies, gives you a synopsis of what you might miss, etc. I'm not crazy about the ad at the beginning, but I start the app before the lights go down anyway. It's the complete and utter failure of the Alert feature that really grinds my gears.
