Great little game of Risk with excellent online functionality. The only game that I keep coming back to over several years.
  • Great game, but.... Aug 17, 2015

Well, I've been playing this game forever and absolutely loved it. However, recent updates have given me a change of heart. There are WAY too many ads to deal with, sometimes up to 4, one on top of the other. Then, when you go to close out of the ads, the entire right side of the screen becomes useless. The only way to fix this is to save the game, exit the app, then come back. The problem with this is that it takes that turn away, thus taking away a chance to win the game. If these issues were fixed, it would be back to being terrific and addictive.

I enjoyed this game genre like but "Rise Wars Free Games" is my favorite game because it gives me the comfort and appeal when playing this game. It's easy and comfortable right even when no network I can still play this game. I could change the game play from attack mode to move mode, wait for my turn again. Unique game design, dynamic sound and the interface is very beautiful. Well, I've been playing this game forever and absolutely loved it. Thank the developers have created for me a playground!

meh, reasonable risk game with music that will annoy you after 1 minute and not an option to turn it off unless you mute everything.

I have played this game for months. I enjoy risk and this game is a fair representation. The AI has almost no strategy but they do tend to all be against the player. This gives the game some challenge but really the only thing that keeps me from crushing it every time is the completely unrealistic dice roles against the system. I often loose a dozen units trying to beat one. I know that dice can land against the odds but this game is ridiculous. Also, the system seems to get cards twice as often as the player meaning they start every other turn with an extra ten units. I’m swearing off this game. I’ve had enough of the nonsense.

I actually enjoyed playing this game in the beginning, however, as time went on I realized how unrealistic it is. The die are definitely not random because you will almost always lose more points than the country you are attacking. There have been way too many instances where I had over 20 points to the CPU's 2 or 3 and I would lose 10-14 points straight and end up getting destroyed because they turn in cards for extra troops. I understand it's supposed to add difficulty but it's just flat out annoying and unrealistic how much more you lose than the CPU's.

  • Addicted game Dec 24, 2015

This is the first time I try to play a risk game but soon get addicted to it. The function of the game is great and accurate ranking. There are lots of choices for me to challenge myself such as chang the world map, chang the game mode, play with my friend ob same device or online. It's really awesome to have great time with friends do some favourite things together. The most excited thing is that the size of app is so small with a great graphic game. Love it

Buggy as hell. Lose my turns all the time. Annoying overlays make you wait for no reason. This is more than Risk. It's about who avoids the bugs in the app. Still the best multiplayer Risk app.
  • Game is nice but not the ads Dec 8, 2015

Yeh right, the ads are very annoying and there are few problems in this app also, but i still want to play this game, it's fun and addictive. I want to give a chance to improve your game, dont give up. I love the game and i will wait your next update to fix these problems. 🤓

Fun game and overall very good. There does seem to be an occasional game where the dice rolls seem extremely skewed. I am wondering if there is a seed in the RNG tied to the game itself. If so, they should really change this. Generate a seed each turn instead. I generally think the dice rolls are random but some games seem to have an extreme skew. I just lost one game where I had 4 continents under control and the remaining two AI had none. I was losing over and over even with astronomically lopsided attacks; 34 to 3, 12 to 3, 21 to 4, etc.

I got this app because I wanted a "Risk-like" game that I can play with friends on the same device. Pros: -Multiple people on same device -Multiple maps Cons: -The interface is frustrating because when you have to click units on the bottom of the map you have to be careful not to press "attack" or "move" because you'd miss out on your turn -The continent boundaries are unclear during in-game -The territories that you can attack from are unclear if they are not connected. Unless you know the map well (which friends won't) you can get confused. Like what islands connect to which. -Can't change AI difficulty in custom local game Since this app has been out for a long time it seems, I don't expect any meaningful updates anytime soon. But it seems like this app could easily do better.

  • Recent ads glitchy Sep 2, 2015

I don't mind ads for free games, but recent ads don't close and have made the game glitchy. In a recent game the game just wouldn't let me attack Australia. I would get to that point and the game stopped recognizing my taps for attack. I could change the game play from attack mode to move mode, wait for my turn again. I'd get to the same point and it wouldn't let me attack. Liked the game until now. Now I'm thinking of deleting app.

The free version is annoying with long ads, but runs smoothly, I bought the paid version and it freezes a lot in between games. Fun game but needs bugs fixed

This has all the basic features one could expect in a risk-like game. It has some positives, like a wide variety of maps, and negatives, like vague/undefined attack points and continent boundaries. The creators made a very OK game, not going above and beyond, but giving me just enough so i could scratch my "I am napoleon" itch. So, if you are ready to pay up for a just-par game that made me shrug and say, "it works," this is gonna be perfect for you.

Updated review: Multiplayer is still buggy. If you make your moves and go back to the lobby too soon after ending your turn, it forgets all of your moves AND you lose your turn!!! This bug has ruined several good games for me.
  • Basic risk terrible AI Sep 13, 2017

    By Kone19ps
The game itself isn't that bad. I've had a few bugs where territories just disappear from view, usually caused by an add pop up which also inverted the screen. However, the placement algorithm is terrible. You will frequently get all 1s and a couple loaded territories that don't help at all for your best option or are blocked by your own territories so you first turn is essentially a waste to move the bulked up territory. Fix placement and the bugs and I could give a higher score, but terrible placement ruins the game from the start.

  • Too many issues Dec 3, 2016

I downloaded the game and couldn't even make it through one full game, though I tried many. I thought I was doing well, and controlled three continents against AI. Suddenly, ad popup. Okay, so I wait for the chance to close it. Now the map looks nothing like before. I have three territories and have been forced out of 2 of the continents. Cool, it all happened behind the popup so I have no idea how I managed to lose so suddenly. The next game, I have to click "cancel" on a popup for each die that gets rolled. Attack 1,2, and 3, then defense 1 and 2. This is for every attack. I plan for an attack to take Australia and click the main menu button to see if it was a setting I accidentally set. Nope. I return to the game, but the AI gets a free move for some reason even though I hadn't finished my turn. Oh, they kicked me out of Africa and I have only the territory I reinforced in anticipation to attack Australia. At this point I deleted the game.

  • No I won't buy premium Nov 10, 2015

The game was fun for the first 5 minutes. Then the first ad popped up. Ads are no big deal, except when I would exit out of one, the screen would just go black and I would have to exit and restart the game, just to find that the game hadn't even saved, but had been delete completely. Don't waste memory on this app, get a different version. And FYI to the developers, no one is going to buy premium when you can't even make the free version work decently.
