A great concept but doesn work effectively - possible lack of development. E.g requests for News identifies source, e.g. BBC or Sky, but then doesn't play results. Bug or licensing issues?

I give a one star this app would have been great except it does not work in Nigeria and it is not fair at all...my dad bought the alexa device only to create an account and it is not possible

I installed this for one reason..to initiate music from another room where my Echo Dot cant hear me. This WILL NOT control or play music through your Alexa. For some bizarre reason, the Alexa remote is not avilable here in the UK via Amazon and alternatives are slim to non existant

i dont know what other people says but when i tap the speaker and i say alexa........ (what i need to say) and it shows thinking for a while , then dont gives the answer i didnt like it😞. when i first installed it i signed in i enjoyed it but after dint worked😔... sorry..😩,dosent takes my questions!😑

Was good at first but no need for it now as you can have Alexa widget on your home screen also you can use Alexa in the Alexa app hands free. Also you can access Alexa from Amazon Music app. Also it tells you the temp in F not C like it used to do. So I've uninstalled it now.

Works OK(sometimes), but at some point just stops listening, meaning you have to manually restart the app to use the trigger phrase, which defeats the object of the app, uninstalled and just use the alexa app now

Used this for a while but hogs battery when running in the background. Uninstalling now as the latest version of the Alexa app now provides the same functionality as this app but is not so resource hungry

This app is a waist of time. Looked nice on the surface, but when in use a lot of the alexa voice services are diminished when attempting use. Weather, and and basic timers are about it. Same thing you can do in the alexa app itself. If you have the alexa app. Don't waist the space on your phone with this app.
