Great for power naps!
Nov 21, 2016 Super helpful if you're late from partying, but have some downtime so you can get a solid power nap in to keep on going late into the morning! Nice that it allows you 30 minutes to travel to the hotel you booked and even has Uber integration to call a ride for you!more -

Aug 16, 2019 Yeah, this isn't the app I downloaded. Somehow it's even more poorly designed, and has a worse service behind it. And the service has pivoted so much, it no longer serves the purpose I wanted. And the rebranding is such that I can't tell what is named what. Search for "Globe" in the App Store, you don't find this app. Search for Recharge, you find the app called Globe, and its synopsis describes the new service, but calls it Recharge. Get your $#%& together, folks.more -
Does not work
Jun 4, 2020 For whatever reason this app does not work. Upon downloading it and signing up the app worked just fine. After doing all that the home screen froze and the app didn’t work. I tried closing the app and reopening it but this time it just showed a white blank page. Then I deleted the app and redownloaded the app and still had the same results as the first go around.more -
Don’t bother with waitlist
Jun 21, 2019 I joined the waitlist in December of 2018. I was around 1300 in line at that time. After a few months, I still hadn’t moved up the list so I tried the other ways like suggesting a friend and listing a property. I only moved up 100 spots. Now It’s June 2019 and I’m still only 1200 in line. Don’t waste your time, I’ve never heard of an app that has such a long waitlist. useless!more -

What’s Groovy
I booked a hotel at NYC last year through recharge to freshen up and nap, and I had no problems checking in at all. I was very satisfied withy booking. Although, I wish they still offer hotel options, since when I travel, I often find a need to nap, shower, and have some privacy. This app is very useful when you don’t want to commit to a full stay at a hotel/Airbnb.

What’s Subpar
I’ve used this app many times over the past couple years, mostly during lunch or after going out and it was fine. Last Thursday I booked a room, was there for an hour and received a $230 charge. After inquiring I was told there was a surcharge due to the time the room was booked (10pm). It said nowhere on the main page that displays the costs that there would be a minimum charge. And customer service basically told me I was SOL. Won’t be using this app anymore.

Can’t Even Register
You can’t even register your home city— which is necessary to even use the service. I imagine it’s some problem on their end, but as it is, the app is literally entirely useless. -

I tried to book a place to take a nap, there were 760 people on the waiting list ahead of me and it included places as far away as 30 plus miles. Too early in implementation -
This app got my card blocked!
Don’t sign up unless you really want to use this app. I signed up and gave them my card info. Instead of verifying it, they ran it it with a $0.00 charge. That got my debit card blocked. Wth. -
No way of previewing without signing up
They want lots of personally identifying information (PII) before they will show you what cities they have rentals in. Not recommended at this point.

For the past several weeks there have been zero available listings in NYC. Will be switching to a different service.
