Ordering doesn't work properly. When attempting to order a combo meal, I am required to remove one of the components. For example, when placing an order for the 3-Combo meal, I can't place the order until I remove either the fries or toast.

Good concept, but very poorly executed
It’s really cool that you can finally order ahead at Canes, but this app needs serious work. I made an account and three times it said there was an error and it couldn’t make it. So then, I try it again and it says there is already an account under that email. So I then try to log in with my email and password but when I pressed “log in” it would load for less than a second and then not log me in. I tried it 10 times until finally it said my email and password didn’t match, so I assumed I put in the password wrong and went to change my password. I put in my email so it would send the password change, but it came up with a red error that literally just Said [object Object] like what??? And it didn’t send the email confirmation. Once again if they can fix some issues with logging in this would be a great app. -
I don't understand how this app is rated so highly! Ordered Curbside pick up and the app continues to state that my order will be prepared when I'm closer, but I'm right outside in the designated parking slot. Ordered at 6:25pm, it's currently 7pm and still waiting on my order.

Just not that great
The app’s geo tracking is awful. There needs to be an “I’m here” button or there is no purpose to this whole curbside thing. It’s buggy and always sits at pending especially if you place the order at like 11:00 to be ready at 5:00. There’s also no way to add an extra item from the meal screen so it’s always a hassle trying to add items from the extras screen. I get that the response is always to leave the app open with geo tracking enabled for the order, but that’s just simply bad app design. To make it more convenient for customers, especially for those that order ahead, there needs to be some way for the customer to indicate that they are either on their way, or at the restaurant. Overall, the design looks like it kept mainly the staff and IT system in mind, which is a good thing, but not much consideration for the customer’s convenience. -
The restaurant barely supports their own app. We were driving through so we did curbside pickup to quickly get our food. Our food had sat for over 20 minutes before we finally got in the drive thru line to pick it up. Food was disgusting and cold by that point. Horrible first impression.

Needs major polish
After waiting this long for an app I was hoping for a very native user experience. First the app gives you an option to skip the account creation step but then forces you to create it anyway before finishing your order. Also, a modern iOS app should streamline data entry of your contact information and credit card but it does not. Everything has to be typed in. This makes the account creation painful if you are in a hurry. The app also does not leverage the password keychain to generate a secure password although it looks like it will let you access a saved password. But that doesn’t help for the painfully slow registration process. Looking forward to another release that addresses these shortcomings. -
Order is never ready on time and no way to report that it wasn’t ready on time.
About a 50/50 chance they even get your Mobile order. I’ve ordered an hour early at least 5 times now, show up on time and still have to wait 30+ mins for my order. When I order my dinner at 5pm and select the option to pick it up at 6pm I expect to pick it up at that time not, 6:30pm. Multiple times I’ve had to just show them what I ordered after the order on the app doesn’t go through. Multiple times the directions on the app don’t take you to the restaurant. this is unacceptable, if the food wasn’t so good, I would’ve stopped coming here long ago. -
Established Account Doesn't Work Tried logging in with my Caniac account login credentials, but the app doesn't recognize the login ID and password. I'm able to log into the account from the webpage but not using the app. Your response to my above review indicates that I need to create a second account. Isn't that a little overkill if everyone has two accounts. Wouldn't it be easier just to fix the login issue?

How can such a popular food place have such poor app implementation? Ordering for pick-up is useless. If u set a pick-up time, you're at the mercy of the store, because they have to manually initiate the order. In other words, if you set the pick-up time at 6pm, you hope and pray they'll manually fire up the order. I've had to wait 30 minutes for them to remember to fire up the order.

Serious flaw
The first time I used the app, it seemed pretty good. It took the restaurant almost 10 minutes to bring out my food after I arrived, but I don’t know if that was the app or just the people. But, since then, I’ve attempted to use it THREE different times at two locations. I choose my restaurant, enter my family’s order, enter payment info, choose curbside (it has always said that drive thru isn’t available), enter the description of my vehicle and *THEN* after all that, it says “we’re sorry, Cane’s #xxx is not taking mobile orders at this time”. WTH?!?! Either it’s saying that because it’s somehow erroring out at the end or someone made a SERIOUS design flaw that doesn’t tell you a restaurant is unavailable until after you’ve wasted a bunch of time. Really, REALLY annoying. Will not use this app again.
