Yes, there is an effective application to some extent, but it depends on the subscribers and put a tick if the alarm is correct and a sign when it is incorrect and I think that the subscriber has added an unstable radar and signed jobs ,, I hope there is a technology added to the program, which is the self-sensing of the cameras, whether fixed Or mobile on the roads, and I think for the cameras that are mobile in a camouflaged security car because they do not know it because it is going with you on the road and surprised by it, and an update is made, which is the ease with which the car knows the program when I connect the iPhone device with the car and the programs appear on the car screen and your program appears, but it does not work if the car computer did not recognize How I looked like my 2021 Jeep Range Rover I did not recognize the program .. This is all for me

I like the concept. However, while driving on certain areas= I noticed it doesn't log the speed cameras location. The ones that I can obviously see when I'm driving. It will beep on some of the cameras. Moreover, not all of them. This is a question to why it does that when this app is to let me know. and protect me and other drivers....if I'm traveling a little to fast. So, I can be more intune to my surroundings.

Using it for years. Always happy. Some false radar warnings are impossible to get rid of. Pity. Now there's this annoying pop-up to install a new version, without explaining why this is necessary. Installed the new version, couldn't re-install my paid license first. The trick is, to register for news-feed. then your mail account is recognised. I have my registered new app now. new review there soon.

I have the app for about 6 months and it did tell me of a three light camera locations on a road I traveled daily. That was helpful because it’s a road everyone speeds on. I use Waze instead of Google Maps which I believe synchs with Google Maps ( I believe in the paid version). Overall if the information it provided me was accurate and no other roads I have traveled on has cameras or traps then it worked perfectly. It’s just hard to tell really if it has all the updated information or not. I use it assuming it’s accurate.. nothing lose. Try for yourself. .., again, nothing to lose.
  • Good app. Needs better support staff Oct 16, 2021

This app might just me the best GPS style speed & red light camera locator there is. It could be better if The technical staff would listen to its users when they report on a new speed or red light camera. Would’ve given five stars if not for the lack of response from staff. I wrote to them 5 or 6 times about the same speed camera, of which I got a ticket at. It took them almost a year to mark down that one speed cam. Otherwise its a very well thought out & well put together app. I would wholeheartedly recommend this app to anyone driving. From cab & truck drivers to moms that have to drive the kids to school & after-school functions. -The support staff could take customers seriously when new cameras are reported to them. They’re only trying to help make the app more accurate.

RadarBot by far is the best radar app out there even the free one is better than anybody’s else’s that you pay for. I literally have just erased yesterday something like 23 radars that I had downloaded and tried always come back to Radarbot!! Radarbot is easy to use everything you could ever need is there for you. The best about RadarNot is… you don’t have to go by an actual radar. It’s in the app so it’s on your phone! If you don’t have it or have never tried it, do your self a favor and DOWNLOAD IT NOW!!

As far as I can tell it spots all the cameras on route. I have my phone on with this app running. I never look at it while driving, it gives warning messages every time a camera is imminent. If you do need to look at it its infested with adverts, some are difficult to shift. That's about it. I never bother with its features or its settings. I should try similar apps but cannot be bothered as this is doing ok

Pretty good app but room for improvement. 1. The app always asks if the warning is accurate only options are yes or no. But where there is a camera present but the speed limit is wrong, we cannot give that advice of the actual speed limit. So it may tell us it's a 60kmh zone, but is actually 50 or 40. 2. The camera markers are way too large for the scale of the map. 3. the app doesn't seem to know in which direction the cameras are capturing.

I didn’t find anything on fines or laws about the information that you provided to me about jammer’s, radar detector’s and the app’s as in are they illegal or are they legal to use and have and whether they have any fines for using these. But everything that I seen was about European’s and the money they talked about was euros which didn’t help me to find out the information I was looking for. Other than that so far I have enjoyed it though, I just wished I had a little more information about the law’s and fines for using and possessing this stuff. Paid for pro version a few years back now it wants me to download a new version of the app it seems outside of the app store and take up a monthly access fee - was happy with the app as it worked well, with good visual and sound warnings of upcoming cameras but not impressed with the changed business model which it seems might be about to ignore the previous pro upgrade I paid for.

However, with the fact that it still fails to give correct speed camera location information, and the fact that despite my additions/corrections submitted, nothing has changed, it makes little sense to carry on using this poor app. It's also very very heavy on power consumption too. By Azrcd
I live in NYC, this is not updated or current enough to be effective. What is worse is I submit (multiple times) new cameras on my commute. 6 months later are they in the database? NO! Here is the part that bothers me the absolute most! At the time I bought this there was a free version and a paid version. I bought the paid version. Guess what?! Now they have another paid version and I’m constantly asked to buy it. You know what you should NOT DO??!!! Have someone pay for your product and then ask them to pay for your product again!!! NO!!! DO. NOT. DO. THIS. EVER. Seriously, basic customer service 101. Two stars because if the camera is on file the app works as it should. Lastly, not the first less than favorable review I’ve left. They seem to be removing them…

This app works really well by giving alerts to both red light and speed cameras but fails miserably by an inaccurate database. It took approximately 2 years for a local camera to be recognised in the permanent data base but has now been omitted after about 6 months. If the database cannot be relied on, there is no point in using it. I think I'll be deleting this and just relying on Google. Fail, Fail, Fail!
  • Stupid Ad Pop Us Apr 22, 2019

    By Zanneec
When trying to use this App (as a new User) it first starts loading its database - something other apps don’t do at start-up. Then a full-page Ad for Lyft pops up. You try to swipe off of it and end up - in Lyft - an app I already have and like. I totally get out of Radarbot and try again, clicking on a different place. Same thing. End up in Lyft. On the third try I get Radarbot. But I’ve run out of time & patience and head over to WAZE, which provides directions AND input regarding speed traps etc. Is it as effective as Radarbot? Not sure I have the patience now to do a comparison. I get Apps need to make $ from advertising, but don’t hold users hostage when doing so.

Fraudulent app Paid for premium subscription. Now received pop up message to download new app as this app will be discontinued. The new app after login is again asking to pay for premium subscription. Radar bot is fraud and only created to cheat. Google play should blacklist such app.
  • Good but missing a lot Jan 19, 2021

A somewhat good app, BUT lacks many features and has many nagging bugs. It is being constantly updated which is good. It does work and does warn of cameras and other things ahead of time, which is also good. It does not allow u to zoom in the map, which is annoying. Does not follow the GPS location accurately! Keeps nagging u about Red light cameras when they are a mile away on another street. Nags u about police stations which is absolutely meaningless for the purpose of the app, and u cannot select what not to warn about! Keeps nagging u about lost GPS signal even when u deselect the option, and it does so when u r stationary! No support link at all, and I sent them a Messenger message more than 10 days ago, they have not even read it! I installed it, removed it and reinstalled it BUT I do not use it! Update: they responded to this review TWO years later! Would anyone be interested in such an app and such support!?

Very good app. I like the way it keeps me informed on speed limits and cameras. It gets confused when passing roads with a different speed limit. I'm not sure that much other than a short delay in informing me would help. I'm keen to see if the pro version will display on my car information screen.
  • This app is excellent at radar and speed cam detection! Mar 17, 2021

    By Drogon3247
Honestly, I’ve never used a device like this before, and I was quite surprised by its accuracy in detecting speed cams, red light cameras, and other such surveillance equipment used as a means to make the city rich off of your backs. In reality, they’re really taking money out of the pockets of police officers and that’s disgusting. Having said that, it’s a great app that frequently updates itself, so you will not be disappointed.

This is a fantastic App for your Adriod smartphone. It takes seconds to set it up and "throws its voice" from my fast charger located between the front seats....and I don't have a sunroof for the gps signal necessary to make the App work! Reliable messages from the depths, it seems, supplemented by other RadarBot users constant onsite reporting. I think it's just fantastic all for a one off cost of a fiver!!!!

The best app for the driver. I drove all over Europe and Turkey let me say this France has radars all over I didn’t get a single fine. On my last travel I didn’t have access to radarbot and paid over three thousand in 4 months of travel. This year no fine and I never ever drive the speed limit. When radarbot gave a the beep I press the brakes than on my way. I would never drive without radarbot ever again.

I love Radar Bot. We’ve been 2gether for quite some time. The app didnt appear in my radar until I bot my car. I had a rough day at work. Radar came and put her arms around me while i squeezed her bot. It’s undeniably convenient. No app cums close, not even wave. I’d Radar stick to this app. Bot a lot of people are telling me to leave her. Id radar stick to this app not cums close

Pretty good app but room for improvement. 1. The app always asks if the warning is accurate only options are yes or no. But where there is a camera present but the speed limit is wrong, we cannot give that advice of the actual speed limit. So it may tell us it's a 60kmh zone, but is actually 50 or 40. 2. I paid for the pro version, but it keeps saying to turn off battery power management to allow RadarBot to work correctly in the background; there is no option to turn off power management on my smart phone (Samsung Galaxy S10+), only which level of power management I would like. I tried to turn off power management for the RadarBot app, but it still does it; I wouldn't mind if it was a visual warning, but it's an audible warning, through the car speakers; would be nice for override option 🤦‍♂️

I have used this app in last 3 months from IL to California and California to Oregon, Oregon back to IL, Il to SC and then back home. I could check where red light and radar controlled speed limits were. I am not using pro version so I have to manually update and see commercials each day. PRO version would be nice but a little to costly for me for number of trips I take. I wished it would show police along road are but I seen plenty and never got notice of radar. I thought about getting radar detector but in some sates it’s illegal and don’t need more cops watching me.

Seems to work correctly and notifys if cameras working. The only annoying thing is that it sometimes tells you that new cameras have been added but when you open the app they are nowhere in your area. I suppose they may be on a different part of the country but that's not relevant. Should be able to specify an area you want to know about for new cameras

It's useful up to a point. Depends on input from other users, so is never quite up to date and in particular tends to accumulate obsolete data, sometimes with out of date speed limit info, e.g. around major roadworks. The voice announcements have terrible intonation - sounds like Eeyore.
  • It works at what it is designed to do. Jan 21, 2021

    By NN0M
It does what it is supposed to do; however the interface could be improved. It is not at all clear to me after almost a year how to report errors in the database when you observe them. Ads pop up at inopportune times and seem to require manual intervention to clear ad. So unless your passenger is running the program you the driver must remove the advertisement from the screen. A no advertising option is available for a fee. Most of the time I use Waze instead because it does most of the things which this program does (Waze lacks a speedometer mode) and offers navigation including the ability to route you around backups which can reduce travel time.

It was useful for sometime. Now fails to give any notification. On top of that the developer has launched a new app to paid members to pay more/again. Greedy bunch!

Fraudulent app Paid for premium subscription. Now received pop up message to download new app as this app will be discontinued. The new app after login is again asking to pay for premium subscription. Radar bot is fraud and only created to cheat. Google play should blacklist such app.
