    other than recently I've had no troubles or seen many issues.. just tonight I had 2 vehicles that were waiting at the gate fir someone to leave so they could get out without using their own code if they have one... seemed really shady but you have to be out by 9pm and I couldn't wait for onsite staff to not respond after hours.

    I think its great in every way except one. Its a little slow when approaching gate to access property remotely, and I have to pull close to gate before ititiating its gate access feature. Definately not a deal breaker though. Userinterface is straight forward and very seemless.

    For a brand new app it appears well conceived. Simple and reasonable intuitive. Since I just downloaded it 15 min ago and logged in. I haven’t really put it thru a rigorous test... but having clicked thru all the menu’s I haven’t seen any glitches ( though since I’m not actually at the facility I couldn’t text the apps gate access feature ) Thanks for giving me an alternative to going thru the PS web page...

    The young lady working in the afternoon deserves to be known and to be noticed by Public Storage, she’s always been very helpful, she goes the extra mile to fulfill our needs and is very attentive to details, I wish she would be recognized by the higher ups to give her some kind of appreciation especially in those times we are all going through. Thank you young lady and we wish you the best!

    Forced update 3 days after release... Bad form. I arrived at the gate and it required an update. Could not update the app quickly to open the gate. If you actually gave users fair warning I would have updated the app prior to leaving home.

    For those of you having trouble with location services being turned on, you must reinstall the app and enable location services at the initial start up. If you don’t the app does not have the option to turn on location services later. The support team never got back to me on this. I just figured it out on my own. Other than that the app is ok for paying bills, renting additional units and checking the status of your account.

    Wanted to commend Martha for her superb customer service skills today, making us feel comfortable and important. The way she greeted me, her patience in answering my questions in a way we could understand, we felt good leaving our property at the Kuala Street site. Made our day. Glad she was there when we went in for our appointment to check in.

    The app makes accessing my unit, making payments, and viewing my access code extremely simple. I do have some connection issues trying to use the app to open different gates and doors, but nothing significant to put a bad taste in my mouth.

    Dawn at Public Storage in Rockaway on Route 46 has been wonderful throughout this entire experience!! Her customer service is 10/10 and you can tell she truly cares about her customers and will do anything to help at any time. Thank you SO much, Dawn! This process couldn’t have been any easier.

    Kathye is awesome!! She helped me with a return and genuinely concerned I was made aware the refund method by providing a receipt and double checking billing account. Today, Kathye helped save $30 late fee, she contacted me by phone to reminded me about small past due balance on my account. Thank you so much Kathye!

    I was once very happy and even loyal and proud to not only rent from public storage... But I also worked for a company that we had the contract and maintained the lawn and landscape for all Dallas and Fort Worth Public Storages. I wasn’t upset with them when as happens from time to time they get bids like most do from other companies and we got underbidded by a labor force company who didn’t do as good of a job so Inalways kinda hoped you’d call us back. But anyway, that didn’t upset me as I understood since it was done at a time where our collective economy took a nose dive. But I still remained loyal out of feeling connected. What has me down is I first rented out of an much needed on the spot storage unit from divorce and happily got a unit for $70 a month. Well, life happens and things don’t follow our plans and even though rent steadily increased I had to move in with my parents to take care of my dad and could work less and less then my mother also and I worked to pay my bills and now my unit is $170/month. Now, I can go online and see units offered for so much cheaper and understand that the rent should go up some. But a happy medium between $70 and $170 would feel like I’m appreciated for being such a long time tenant. Ya know. Anyway, Thanks for listening. And I know my money whines are by my own doing for taking care of my parents. But such good parents deserve it. Especially all we’ve been through.

    I can't enter my debit card information to make a payment no options are popping up I'm unable to make a payment I even tried going to the actual website to try and make a payment there and I ran into the same problem there as well, why won't it let me enter my debit card information!?

    I just downloaded the app for iPhone and when I logged in and clicked the lock icon to setup phone access to the gate it prompted me to enable Bluetooth. That’s fine. I enabled bluetooth. Then when you try to access it it requests you enable location services. This is where the app breaks. While my location services is activated the app itself needs permission to access location services. THE APP DOES NOT ADD A RULE TO ALLOW PERMISSIONS FOR LOCATION SERVICES. The screen it pushes you to to enable location services does not include an option for enabling location services. This portion is coded incorrectly.

    This was the most terrible experience ever with a public storage unit first of all I was charged $111 for the month of May and I moved out May 4th they do not retro any remaining money. upon arriving to clean my storage unit out I was informed that someone stole the dollies. So now I have to carry every box and bag refrigerator stove bedroom sets by hand to load on the U-Haul truck. And still refuse to give a penny back for the inconvenience.I will never recommend anyone to Public Storage.

    they went up on the price 3 different times in one yr even in the mist of covid. they still rise the price on hatd working people they dont care whats going on in the world or how hard it is for people now they still charging more than any storage out there besides u haul they high to i got the same storage unit at another place a lot more cheaper an better place over all just being honest.

    I don’t need this thing to constantly track my location. When I get to the gate and open the app then it’s fine but when I am not using it it should not need my location. I have to explicitly swipe this thing closed in order for my phone to stop telling me I’m being tracked by the app. It’s creepy. I do appreciate that I can open the gate without touching the key pad though. If they can make it less aggressive with the location tracking I’d be happy to increase my rating. I take my privacy seriously.

    This app is a bit buggy. It's used exclusively for accessing the facility instead of entering the access code on the keypad at the gate. But the app is slow to the point that it's much quicker to use the keypad. The app spends a lot of time displaying the spinning wheel - minutes - and one time told me that I was locked out and needed to contact the manager. She found no reason for the message. She said the app is created by a different entity. I'd say skip the app and it's associated Spyware.

    Nothing but problems and way to expensive to have the type of issues we have had...every month they find a way to charge us extra fees month they say my account at the bank doesn’t have enough funds to cover it and return the check it cost me there and with the bank they have been extremely hard to talk with and act as if nothing is wrong with their system for sure,but I’m looking at my bank statements and the money was there and was returned at my expense so either that’s the way they do business or they aren’t very bright!

    It is slow. It only opens the gate about half the time, and it is not because I am out of range. I hope the developers look at all of the "Oops..." errors, find the underlying issues, and fix them. I have seen little improvement over the past 2-3 months. At some point, I will stop using the app if I continue to see no signs of improvement.

    Unsure how so many people rate this app highly. It works very poorly if you access it through an iPhone. Tge only way to view your documents is to select “Update Settings” then “View Documents” - then you're required to log-in again. After logging in a 2nd time, you have to scroll yo the bottom of the page - past all sorts of useless info- until you get. to “Quick Actions” (obviously an oxymoron!) Only choices are: 1) Manage Payment Methods, 2) Manage Insurance, 3) Manage Notifications The “View Documents” icon is under the “Manage Insurance” choice!!! Wow! Ciuld you make it any more unintuitive? How about putting the View Documents on the landing page? 2 stars for information provided, but you sure gave to work for it.

    No support for a husk of an app. Something as simple as a password reset requires so much effort. Edited: The account was set up onsite and a password was set up, which didn't work when log in was attempted. Request password reset email / phone option was used several times, email/ text never came. A call to support rerouted me to the online chat which was unavailable... during the office hours displayed. The response to this review highlights the hopeless support.

    Not only did the app not work but it took them a week to call me back. I was in the middle of moving and booked online. It was listed as contactless but they didn’t inform me of the entry only during office ours. 6336 Fairdale LN in Houston was the worst experience EVER! Not even the district manager has respect for customers. Called customer service over 10 times and never spoke with either on the “Emergency Phone” they have for emergencies. My move was terrible and $360 in moving fees later I chose another reputable storage.

    This app will hang on the splash screen and freeze most of the time or take an ungodly long time to launch. Absolute garbage when the main reason I want to use it for is access. Fix your app!!!
