I have used this app for about 4 years. I have many task that I need to accomplish each day. I have tried many methods and apps on my iPad. This app is the most well thought out and implemented GTD (Getting Things Done) application that I use. The iOS version is an OUTSTANDING application. The iOS app offers synchronization (requires a subscriptrion) with my Mac OS app and the Web Version. It is all seamless. If you can’t afford the subscription then simply use the iOS version. The iOS version is really worth trying out. Cheers to the developers. This app has grown from a basic app into a full-fledged business app. Yet it has accomplished this feat without adding complexity or confusion. This is a MUST-HAVE application.

I used this app a few years ago and, as life changes, it sat unused for a time. I went back to use it and found the pricing strategy had changed - but a call to support was super helpful... I‘m using it now on Windows and iOS — a couple weeks in and it has me so much more effective with my time!! (And I‘ve used and use a variety of productivity apps from simple lists to true organizers) This one provides a visual that I need — and things no longer get lost. —— Love, Love, Love that i can focus in on a single project with the 4-square visual of all the details. —— And LOVE that i can switch to the “Master List” or “Calendar” view to know exactly what i should be focusing on at any given point in time. Other good (and key) features is the ability to customize the quadrant for different projects — my “learning/development” goals are captured one way, my home and work “projects” have a more typical 4-square matrix. I use this for myself although it’s actually created for team use - i would imagine it’s a great collaboration tool... Love it!!!

Great implementation of the Eisenhower method of organizing, but enhanced with very usable features for those who who want them. It comes with several templates with very useful base ideas, and customizations for creative people with a sense of style to make it look exactly like you want. I’ve found so many uses for this easy-to-keep-up-with visionary software creation, and it’s so easy to use! Love it, and I use it every day to capture and organize my fleeting artist ideas. Kind of a hybrid of visual and list organizing, and it’s been very stable, too!

I switched from another task management app 2 months ago, I am impressed how much more organized and efficient I am, running a video production company. Well worth the learning curve, wish I would have done the switch to Priority Matrix sooner. The four quadrants paradigm provides a much easier method for viewing and executing tasks and projects. Integration with Outlook for Mac is a very helpful feature. It’s a little pricey, but if you’re on the fence just use the trial for a few weeks and see for yourself.

Grateful I found Priority Matrix. I’ve been looking for a cross platform all in one organizer. PM is great for those of us that need to start small and grow into using more and more of the apps capabilities. The support team has been helpful and clear as I’ve created problems with mismatched accounts and password issues. I’m using the app for my personal and professional projects.

I didn’t find too much use for the iPhone and iPad versions, but liked the concepts. It was until I signed up as a Pro user to use the Mac and Window’s applications. Terrific interface, easy to use and very valuable to get a view into what is most important.

This is the ap I use to brain-dump and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. It keeps me organized and provides the satisfaction of checking things off as I go. I especially recommend it to certain family members who habitually say "remind me to..." and I can retort, "put it in your matrix!"

I would have given them 5 stars but I can't stand how busy the desktop program is. It looks very complicated and you do have to watch the tutorials to make sure you don't miss an easier way to navigate. I love how you can sync outlook and assign tasks with emails. There is such much this does to make my life easier. It also needs a chat room feature like so many other task management apps

It seems like they need to use their own app to get the priorities straight. But maybe that explains why the functionality is so poor. Each new version of the app has gotten subsequently worse. The developers took a good product and destroyed it on the iPad. The screen is split so your quadrant is only available on half the screen, making it almost useless.

  • Great for major projects & syncing to desktop Jan 8, 2014

    By Lauren2213
This app kept me sane in the final two months before my wedding. It enabled me to create different screens for each major project, and I could drag tasks into one of four quadrants based on the priority matrix (urgent & important, important but not urgent, urgent but not important, and not urgent/ not important). I paid for the windows desktop app as well so that I could update that way. Sync worked perfectly each time. I could open a screen that just filtered out my tasks from the first quadrant for every project, which made it easy to determine the imperative and urgent steps. Same applies for the tort categories. I could also assign deadlines to tasks (such as paying vendors). I found this far more useful than Omnifocus because of it's four quadrants and filtering options. I would recommend it mostly for big projects and if you will use it on your desktop/work computer all day. It's not ideal for me for everyday life because input is too much of a hassle and I do not have an office job. It takes extra clicks to open up an item to assign an icon if you want to sort them with the gtd method. There is no keyboard shortcut for assigning icons. You also cannot drag a task from one project to another, at least not on the phone from what I can tell. For my everyday life, I'm trying out Sooner right now. But I'm keeping this app for any other major projects that come up.
  • Solid and practical solution Feb 19, 2013

    By DSB Eng
I run several small companies so my To Do list is rather extensive. The quadrant system is a great way to break down tasks. I like that I can break up my lists by different projects and prioritize within the projects. Would like to see the ability to look at all projects at once with prioritization. Being able to see all four quadrants with all projects would be awesome. Creating a task is easy at the project level - three quick steps. Tap in the quadrant where I want the task. Speak the task into my iPhone. Save. Some aspects are not quite so efficient. To enter a task from the task overview list I have to take three steps just to get to the project level before I can take the three steps to enter a task. Since task prioritization and listing to do's is the primary function of this I would like to see the process become more efficient. Thanks for a functional app-keep pressing on.
  • Solid organizational tool Sep 27, 2012

    By alrdye
I really like the 2 x 2 grid. It is easy to use and has a fairly intuitive interface. It doesn't take much work to get up to speed on all the ins and outs. I would probably give it five stars except that the calendar functionality, time choosing, and general scheduling interface could use considerable streamlining. I really don't like that there is no alarm when items become do. There should be some sort of notification outside the program. It would be nice on the calendar to be able to skip years instead of just months. Also, hopefully they will implement a web interface soon. I don't like having to purchase a separate application on my Mac and Windows computers. But overall this is a really solid app and I believe it will considerably enhance my project management.
  • Nice updates Mar 19, 2014

    By EngOnTheRoad
Other organizers pale in comparison to this one. Everything imaginable is customizable to best organize work in a visual, meaningful way. It lets you map your tasks, has a gentle reminder system and integrates with the system calendar. I found that other organizers were not as flexible. This one lets you set it up the way it works best for you. Haven't had time to fully test the icon feature yet. The default icon in the menu seems a little large and not particularly useful to me. I look forward to seeing how icon integration evolves. Some screen adjustment in the calendar view is needed because the DONE link is a tad low on the screen. With some minor tweaks to the screen and icon features, this great app will become 5 stellar!

I have been a PM user for almost a year now, and convinced my company's Sr. Management team to subscribe to the team version about three months ago. There is no other piece of software across multiple OS platforms that can do what PM does. I use it in my engineering dept for project task management and project scope creep identification, and it pretty much does everything I've asked it to do. I do wish that the reporting capabilities were more flexible and customizable, and that you could archive completed projects to better manage your list of projects, but these are minor short comings. Also, the responsiveness of the product support is anazing!!!
  • Would be good, but I don't really use it Feb 14, 2014

    By Phred1320
I really like the four quadrant planning system and the app works very well. However, amost everything I do for work, tasks, planning is through Outlook and without somehow syncing to Outlook, it doesn't do me much good. I know Appfluence has a Windows application as well, and I would be interested in purchasing it, but it is not a stand along app an is a monthly service to subscribe to. I give it four stars, but it would be five if I could just buy the Windows application and not require the service fee.
  • Very neat, just needs a few tweaks Feb 19, 2013

    By Ayorthianmuse
I really like this app. I like all the different options. I would add a one-button way to complete a task, and a way to archive completed tasks. It would be nice if you could set it up to do this as soon as you mark a task as complete, instead of having to move a bar to complete a task and then manually clear the completed tasks. Great concept, and good execution! This app is worth it, just could use a few improvements. :)

of the quadrant view but the update just now lost all my current data and set it back to about a year ago. I'm not happy. Update: I had to go back and manually update my info and I realized the issue was my fault as I had not synced my data prior to updating. In the meantime, I contacted Appfluence and expressed my frustration. While there was nothing they could do to fix my problem they were very responsive to and sympathetic to my issue. I will continue to use this app as I really prefer the grid layout for task and project management. I have no doubt they will offer great support should any future issues arise.
  • Great Product / complete change to the pricing model Mar 6, 2017

    By Brooke sheehan
Can't say enough about the tool. It's great. However, what cost me $99 a year for my team in 2016 now costs $12 per user per month. And if you want some additional tools that I need, the price jumps to $288 per user per year. AND, there is no way I can buy the base product for my team and the Business model for myself. So to get the functionality I want and only I need, I'm faced with the costly price of $288 a year for every user. WHAT HAPPENED??? This is a crazy change and now borders on completely unaffordable. Boo.

I've used this app for 7 years, and generally it's been great. However, the last few years, there's been too much focus on squeezing the turnip for cash than putting out a good product. I've asked repeatedly to change the UI for date input; it takes forever to change the date beyond a month or two. I'm tired of waiting and have moved on to another app, with much disappointment because I've been using this for so long.

Won’t use this app again as long as login reqd. I understand the login requirement if syncing across devices or collaboration is the goal. But there’s absolutely no functional need for daily lists, personal projects, etc.
