    Been with a traditional bank since my first job. It was just the one my parents used, so I did too. Now, I have a banking account actually fits my needs and helps with my savings goals. The app is easy to navigate and aesthetically pleasing, and the savings APY is really great. Plus, I have an adopted pup and love that I can support the Humane Society just by using my card as I normally would. Pretty cool to have a banking account that gives back to causes like that. As far as the card, it’s matte black and gold, which is so different than any other I’ve seen. I’m very happy that I switched to Porte! 🖤

    Downloading and setting up the account was super easy. The interface seems very user friendly with many features you don’t see in other products. Transferring savings balances over to my new Porte account with these rates- you can’t beat them. Look forward to exploring more of the product as it becomes my primary source for spending in all retail and online spaces.

    5 stars for great customer service, excellent. 4 stars for the app itself. Had a rocky beginning with the app and wasn't able to use it but their customer support was great, and fixed the problem. 4 stars for the qualification for the savings account. Not a huge deal but understandable. Friendly UI, sleek and clean. 4/5 hope to see Porte do better in the future.

    I saw the 3% savings in an ad on my feed. I was skeptical at first but I read up on it and I love the look of the app, so I am giving it a shot. I also like that they donate to charities on my behalf, that’s a great perk. They just launched it recently and are taking feedback, so I gave them some and look forward to future enhancements. Also love the card, very chic and safe since you can tap to pay!

    I’ve tried other mobile banks like Chime and Varo but they were a bit gimmicky. Porte is something special. It’s got a super sleek interface, a savings account with the highest interest rate I’ve seen, and every time I make a purchase, I know I’m supporting a good cause! Also, through the Porte Perks program, I can get cash back at stores I already shop at. Highly recommended!

    I tried to sign up and it said they are unable to verify my ID. Strange... I had no issues signing up for simple bank, current, paypal etc. I was told to call a number and reached someone with a thick accent who was hard to understand who told me to send pictures of my ID over email (not secure). This startup sounds like they have only just started and are making big mistakes. Porte, you lost a possible lifelong customer for making the sign up process a pain.

    The routing and/or account numbers don’t seem to work everywhere for bill pay or linking accounts. Plus, it’s been two weeks and I still haven’t gotten my new bank card from them. I called today, and they will fast-ship another one this week. However, now when I open up the app, it doesn’t show me my balance and doesn’t contain the link allowing me to activate my card!!! Will this resolve by Thursday when I receive my new card in the mail? Only time will tell. But right now, I’m not happy and am starting to regret this app.

    ok after the new november 5th update i have to write a new review. it still sucks bad. i signed up for a account 10-28-2020 i called three times and like everybody else i could not sign in. its not even a login section on the website. they told me i would be recieving a phone from the tech deparment because the app had a virus to it. im more disappointed with google for letting maleware get into their system. i just finally decided to give up and go sonewhere else.

    Well I opened an account and log in...put in my number for a verification code to be texted to me...however I never get a code. I have tried a million different times. I have yet to get a damn code. So I never got past the first step. That's cool. Thanks Porte.

    I’ve had this card for about a month and love it! I needed something to separate my small business expenses and I originally went with Bluevine but realized they didn’t compare to Porte! Yes with Bluevine I get 3 free checkbooks, business name on card etc., but their card doesn’t support instant transfers! Porte does and I’m very happy with it!

    This is the only bank which credit my salary 2 days in advance. Also 3% interest rate on savings account is awesome to park money.There are 3 major drawback: 1) No Transfer money option from Porte to external account. It accept ACH from other bank tough. 2) Debit card is actually prepaid card and cannot be used in Google Pay..Apple pay working. 3) No joint account option or nomination facility. ****************************************** HMBradley looks to be more promising with 3% interest rate up to $100k compared to 15k here as well as ACH transfer and proper debit card. ******************************************

    I was hoping to sign up for an account but am unable to advance beyond the password creation page and received multiple error dialogs (“Account does not exist” and “Service unavailable”). The screen was not scaling correctly. There was clearly more text at bottom but was horizontally split from view. Can’t you use that sweet sweet VC dough to make Porte accessible to folks with smaller screens? At least say so up front (app claims to be compatible with my phone but isn’t, apparently).
