  • Confusing for the first few games then!!!! Jul 19, 2020

At first I wasn’t exactly sure what this game was about. That’s a great thing actually, as it isn’t like any other game I’ve played at least. This is fun, pick up and play, kill some time and some bad guys??? After the first few games I got a feel for it and figured out how most of the mechanics work and this game came into its own. It is well worth the download and it will be in my front page of games for a long time. The games difficultly ramps up way to fast. Clearing the second level was ridiculously difficult if not for very lucky cards I couldn’t have beaten the boss. I don’t feel like my strength is scaling any where near as quickly as the enemies are.

Great fun game, really enjoyable. But now the top 2 players have hacked the score board. You really need to fix this issue permanently.

I generally don’t stick with games longer than a week, but I’ve played this every day since launch. A hair confusing at first but after a few matches it will make sense. Fun little game to play in short spurts. Ads also aren’t too bad, and the IAP to remove them is reasonably priced. PVP could be improved. Very satisfied overall.

A great take on card-based combat. Poker hands in an old west setting is genius. Upgrades and progression seem good so far. Rounds are quick and fun. Kudos to the devs!

Nothing changes from all the reviews. Unless you have lots of money to play you cannot progress. Absolutely no way to beat the level of opponents after level 40, you use up every daily bonus saved. The Developers need to realize people on fixed incomes can’t plop down the $2.99 for 10 gold pieces or wait until the super bonus pack of 20 for whatever cost. Here’s another FYI, when I first started playing I told friends and family what a great game it is, now like me can’t afford to continue so you lost about 7 players.

Nice concept, but completely overshadowed by ALL OF THE ADS. Not like they're even optional for some extra rewards. After EVERY battle, which usually last about 2 minutes or so, there's a 30 second ad. These devs had a great idea, and just defecated all over it.

06/20/2020. The latest update made the yser experience bad again. Screen size became smaller. Screen changes are so slow. Loading of battles are also very slow. How come this always happens on each update?

  • Great game ruined by bad ads Jun 5, 2020

UPDATE: Thanks for the quick response, devs. Both solutions sound good to me. Once you make the updates, I promise to update my rating. I’ll keep this short - this is a fun little game, good concept, nice graphics. However ads have been bolted on in such a poor way that you actually have to restart the game to continue playing every time an ad pops up. I understand developers need to make money, and I have no problem looking at the occasional ad. However, please do as good a job implementing ads in your game as you do on the game itself.

  • Ads you can’t close? Jun 28, 2020

    By Rippersith
What’s with making the “x” to close the ad so tiny that you force us to select the ad instead?!? It’s almost deceptive.. you should be happy with the monetization model you chose-if it works, you won’t have to trick us into clicking the ads. If I want to close an ad, I should be able to-I don’t like the fact that it’s a mini-game to be able to finish an ad and get back to the game, then you have to go to your default browser and close out all the tabs this game just opened.

  • good could be great Jun 28, 2020

good gameplay where card strategy matters. card deck upgrades matter and have a strategy in and of itself. however by the second region it does become major pay to play EVEN w a free roll watching an ad (which doesn't bother me). the game balance should DEF be tweaked to where one can progress without an obvious money grab — there are tons of levels.... a bit more subtlety with the stark difficulty increase would probably, long term, increase player retention rate and in turn continue revenue across the board for the developers. good game but it will burn out many many users way faster than this otherwise fun and challenging game should.

  • Great Game but Frustrating Jul 2, 2020

    By Volcboy84
It’s so much fun I want to play more than it will allow! It takes 40 credits to play a single round of poker, and the only way to get extra credits is by waiting (like 2 minutes per credit) or in game gold. Now I am not opposed to spending gold for more time, but the credits are very expensive compared to how hard it is to accrue gold (in game). I would maybe consider buying some gold, but it costs way too much to add time to the game. Very frustrating because like I said, I just want to play more because it’s so much fun. I would be willing to pay $10 for a one time fee to play as much as I want or something.

Great idea for a game. I would make it a little cheaper, like 20 bullets, to start battles.

  • Good mechanics, crazy IAP costs Jul 1, 2020

    By iCowboy
The game itself is well made and fun. There’s enough variety in the powerups and upgrade system to be interesting, but not too much to be overwhelming. The art and UI are good. The IAP system though, wow. I haven’t spent any money on the game yet, which means hours of waiting between play sessions, but it really doesn’t seem at all worth it to pay $5 to play a few hands, or to upgrade one single card in your deck, or any of the other things you do with gold. I’ll probably end up playing until it becomes too difficult to win without paying, and then delete it and move on.

  • Need more content Jun 28, 2020

So the game overall is good. Keeps me entertained for a min. But they really need to find a way to keep people in the game after you run out of bullets and have to wait for refill. Maybe change PvP to free so you can keep playing against other people while you wait to play the story. Or make the side missions free and lower their rewards. Something to keep me in the game longer because even if I bought a refill it would t be worth it because I couldn’t play for a long time.

  • Awesome start then PAY TO PLAY BIG TIME! Jun 23, 2020

    By ScottySauce
I was really enjoying this game even though it's pretty repetitive but if you really want to enjoy a day and play poker you need real money or wait a day play a bit then lose a match because you're out of items to continue. Great fun game but ease up on the gameplay for people who want to have fun and keep on playing. It's hard enough getting through enemies in the first chapter so please rethink things and good luck

  • Could be awesome Jun 22, 2020

    By JByrdsThaWord
This game could be awesome, but it literally takes all your credits in just a few games. There are no options to watch videos and get credits immediately, you have to wait almost 10 hours and by then, there’s no point. Game is super fun, but I’m over it already with the wait time. There are other fun poker games that actually let you PLAY... which is the whole point of getting a game... to play. It’s too bad.

  • Ads, Energy system, and IAP’s being the game down Jun 24, 2020

    By Tkc10
The game has the framework for a great game but as with most games on the App Store are ruined by IAP’s, energy systems, and ads. I’d love to pay 5-10$ and play the game without interruptions instead I’m greeted by ads after every match, get 15 minutes in and have to wait until the bullets restock. Could be 5 stars, but suffers from greedy developers and a pay to win scheme.

  • Fun, polished game marred by ads and IAP Jun 5, 2020

    By Ashdjddjfkfkfjd
I love roguelikes, RPG’s and card games and definitely love when there’s a fun twist like this. From the get-go you can tell this game is polished and the gameplay itself is engaging and fun. However, the experience is ruined by far too frequent ads and an energy system that won’t let you play for longer than 15 minutes before taking a two hour break. Unfortunate.
