I somehow stumbled across BOW, a couple of weeks ago. WOW! What a blessing! I look forward to every presentation and have been sharing with my friends A number of us here in Missouri are taking courses with the Center for Self-Governance and meeting together to become educated on both our Federal and State government. Scott’s information and perspectives are refreshing and empowering. Just prior to finding this site, I had been reading about the Act of 1871, which of course was a shocking revelation to my Patriotic spirit. The deception we have been living under, was a hard pill to swallow. The treachery of those involved almost beyond my comprehension. I’m so thankful the Holy Spirit led me to this site, when Scott began his interviews with Jim Pugh. The information was immensely helpful in sorting through the carnage. Thank you, Scott and Team for bringing Truth and Hope, in the midst of such chaos. God Bless and Keep each and everyone of you. May God continue to extend His Hand of Mercy over America and bring repentance, awakening, revival, healing and reformation to our Nation.

I would give it a 5 star however there are a few minor technically glitches that can be annoying sometimes. Also as it's a free service, I have presume that I am the product and it's not very clear what they do with my info, saying all of that though, it has some great shows like joe rogan and the WAN show and for me it has been a great way to get off of youtube plus I can download podcasts and listen to them at work where there's no wifi.

Love this app! Smooth, sleek experience with a dark mode option. Settings are plentiful--my favs being playlists, auto-play, search, and add feeds. This app makes discovering new pods and adding feeds easy. Organizing pods (move to top) is great too. That said, it does crash in the bg sometime if my memory taps out but that's possibly more my phone than the app. I just subbed because this app is quality! And I want to support future innovations, but I do wish there was a lifetime ad-free option.

What an encouragement to me as a wife and a mom of two young adult men! I feel like this message is so vital to many around me and the key to first, viewing our service and relationship to christ, and second, the key to especially successful relationships and marriage. This was the first time listening to your church message, and I must confess, I was “checking you out”since my college age son attends your church. He is a long way from home in pa, and I prayed his whole first year in Tennessee that he would find a Bible believing and preaching family where he could hear truth, grow in his faith, and serve. Thank you lord for delivering such a sweet answer to prayer on all three counts. And thank you for these days where we are confined, even as believers, forced to seek alternative means of spiritual food and fellowship. So blessed by your message, and by the support I now know my son has spiritually hundreds of miles from home! Bless you all!

When I mentioned it in conversation, a friend asked, "Podbean? I don't know that app." I said, "Just a podcast app with the name BEAN in it so you know it must be wholesome!!!" Then I actually __*thought*__ about our relationship. Why did I put up with it?! The constant "no connection" message, even when connected to WiFi. The difficulty rewinding, which left me waiting for many long minutes for the audio to randomly reload-- like the anxiety for a text response from a date, you fear, is just not that into you. Pressing backup 30 seconds several times only to end up at the same minute mark! Talk about poor communication. Or opening the app with anticipation only to see the Discover page with suggestions that made me feel like you didn't even know me. Sometimes, Podbean, I don't even know why we did this. I think you just seemed so good, so genuine, but now I see that you don't nourish or support me at all. You'll call me a sell out, but I need to go with someone bigger; more reliable. Thanks for the memories; I wish you well.

I appreciate sorting the episodes in order by date, I like to go the beginning of where it started. Two annoying things worth mentioning. It stopped automatically playing the next episode ***(I’m listening to Radiolab only right now so I don’t know if it’s other podcasts. I just texted it before replying to you. Finished listening to an episode from last night. Made sure my setting was still to auto play the next one and sure enough, nothing happened)***. I don’t know why. I had the setting to do so, and it was working fine, then it stopped. I checked the settings and it hasn’t changed so not sure what to do. And two....Once I’ve listened to, let’s say 30 episodes (a lot is the point here), since the next episode isn’t playing automatically, I go to the list and have to painfully scroll down until I find the next episode. Ok a third. Commercials are annoying.

  • Only App that is designed for talk podcasts and not music. May 8, 2019

    By sbowers9
Podbean is the only podcast app that I've found that when I press the back button on my Bluetooth device, it takes me back 30 seconds on my current podcast. When I press the back key on all the other apps, it takes me to the previous podcast. I don't want to leave my podcast, I just want to re-hear the last 30 seconds because I either didn't understand something that was being said or I was distracted and just want to hear it again. All the other apps - Apple, Stitcher... are designed for music and think you want to go back to the prior song. It's really frustrating because I have to look at my phone, while I'm driving to hit the back 30 seconds button. But with Podbean, I keep my eyes on the road and just tap the back button on my Bluetooth device and I can simply rewind the last 30 seconds - perfect!

Doesn't stop playing when you close the app, no external controls at all, random dips in audio quality, constantly advertising itself to you, defaults to notification spam. The premium features don't even make sense. Edit: The reply to this is a bold lie, about what you'd expect from an app that earnestly promotes fascist alt-right talk shows that literally beg you to kill minorities. Dropped my rating 2 more stars. No more pop ups asking me to rate this five stars, you clowns.
  • I wanted to love this app... May 4, 2019

    By sarahebeth
I originally posted 5 stars after switching to Podbean. I did love several of the features of this app that I didn’t have with others, and it never crashed. It also downloaded episodes quickly (I didn’t have mine set to auto download, just chose the individual episodes I wanted), and the downloads deleted immediately after they finished playing space and time. HOWEVER, I just deleted the app. Podcasts I listened to daily would disappear from my feed. I would have to search for them again to follow and listen. I thought it was me at first, maybe an accident with my touch screen. But then it did again, more than once, it happened with more than one show. I reached out to customer service, but the response was completely useless. Even if they didn’t/don’t have a fix or answer at the moment, the response could have been handled better. I would have preferred them not to answer at all than what I received. I was too annoyed at that point to keep trying. Promptly deleted.

Podbean is nice enough as a podcaster but it never stops it never goes away I can only make it stop by rebooting my phone and consumes all the battery power of my phone everyday it is also starts in between phone calls I might even get it down for a minute or two but one or two phone calls will come and it'll start up against spontaneously doing whatever it was before it's extremely annoying program it's a pity cuz it doesn't have to be
  • Counterintuitive setup Apr 4, 2018

    By KellyK376
I really want to enjoy this app. But everything about it feels backwards, and there’s no option to sort the locked episodes in with the standard ones based on date, which makes keeping up to date super difficult. For some reason downloading episodes is also separate from the original location, and I have no option to have it automatically deleted after I listen to it from that different location, which makes me spend a lot of time on the unsorted list, rather than just seeing the ones I have left to listen to. Clicking on an episode automatically begins the recording, rather than popping up with options about it. What happens when you tap the wrong episode? Now it’s redirected you to a new page, and you’ve got to backtrack to get to the right one. It’s exhausting, honestly, and if I didn’t have to use it to reasonably access the bonus content I get, I would just delete it. I wonder if they’ve got an access link that I can punch into Overcast.

Once i am done listening to a broadcast or no longer want to listen to it, i cant get rid of the podcast until i click on the next one. Its very unnerving. How do i stop the broadcast waiting in the background. I completely turned off my phone last night at 10:30pm. Turn it back on at 6am. I just now went to podcast at 9:46am and its still has the last podcast waiting for me to click the play botton on my last podcast i listened to 3 nights ago. Frustrating. Update: I uninstalled.
  • Poor Interface May 5, 2019

    By JB_Smithwick
As many have gone into, this app’s interface makes No sense. There are multiple ways to search for new content, but what I really need is to get to and view the podcasts I’m already listening to and their episodes. The episode list is Infuriating. Every podcast I’ve listened to likes to list and play in reverse order...so, for example, when I finish Episode 5, it will autoplay Episode 4, which I just heard. To make matters worse, the episode lists start with only recent episodes shown and then an option to “see more” - which will let you see the next 5-10. Well, God help you if you’re starting to listen to a Podcast with 100+ episodes, as you’ll have to get used to tapping “See More about 25 times at the start of every listening session. Two stars because it works and many podcasts are available - now just take the time to redo the interface/menus. I’s say ‘fix’ instead of redo, but this steaming pile of hot refuse is beyond repair.
  • Can’t Scrub without Buffer May 1, 2019

    By TDawz
I like this app because the podcasts I listen too are available on it. What I don’t like is that when I attempt to scrub forward by sliding the little marker ahead, on any podcast, there is always a long buffer period where the “play” button turns into the spinning circle. This goes on literally every time I attempt to jump ahead in a podcast. Doesn’t matter if I’m on wifi or not. As I’m writing this review, I’ve been waiting for my podcast to start playing after I attempted to jump to a random mark in the show. I contacted support months ago when I first got tired of this issue but the round and round led me to believe they had no idea what I was talking about as they wanted me to send them an example of the issue...so a screenshot?!?!! How would that help?!!? Hopefully it gets fixed because the “other” podcast app is barely usable either with it’s constant “can’t connect right now errors”..

Awful! I wish I could use the app I had on iPhone. For example, why is the default to download episodeals of podcasts Im following? I had 80GB of storage sucked up this way!!!! Also, it had me automatically following sleazy right-wing podcasts that I never heard of or chose to follow: one was for bible study and the other was about conspiracy tbeories. Cluttered with ads too. AWFUL.
  • If I could give this half a star, I would. Apr 17, 2020

    By alone_inacrowdedroom
I’ve had more issues with this app than any other since buying my first smartphone. I haven’t been able to access content for a month, even though my payments have still come out of my account. I just deleted and reinstalled the app and now it’s not recognizing me as a user at all, it’s trying to get me to sign up for a new account when I click the reactivate link. I’m hoping my favorite podcast switches hosts soon. I have a Stitcher Premium account as well and have never had a problem with it. Update: just resubscribed to some premium content 6 days ago, and I inexplicably received an email today saying, “this is a confirmation that you have cancelled your subscription to...” I absolutely did not cancel or request a cancellation. I logged in to my account on my laptop and there is no sign of a cancellation and my subscription is still active. What is going on?!
  • Insanely frustrating app Apr 5, 2020

    By Jester 26
I am a podcaster who uses podbean to host my show. I got a comment today and instead of just being able to respond to the comment on my computer it forces me to use the app. First I download and then it gives me a listener account and I can’t respond to the comment. Once I get this all sorted out I finally find the comment then it won’t let me respond. I can’t access the comment. I try over and over to respond. Then I finally get to type something and it kicks me out after one line making my response sound short and frustrated with the listeners comment. The whole system is very glitchy and should be 100% scrapped and started over in my opinion. This is enough for me to seriously consider another host who has their systems up and running correctly. There is no reason why should be forced to use an app just to respond to a fan. Please fix this!

  • Problem w/Lower Speed: Echo. Aug 17, 2020

    By Mhfykfkydykdyj
Slowing this app down just adds an echo or delay. Talk about a grating, unsatisfying, crude, low-tech approach! If, however, you are one of the 99 percentile then you use this app to speed up your podcast & this idiosyncrasy isn’t an issue. For 50% speed just say everything twice: I I can’t can’t stand stand this this app app but but it’s it’s all all I I have have on on my my iPhone iPhone that’ll that’ll play play .80x 80x!! Why slow down speed? Comprehension & retention. Technical podcasts are how to follow at high speeds. Trying to recall & share a partially understood podcast is impossible. Whether the subject matter is Covid-19 or nutri-genomics, politics, sociology, psychology, physiology, or comedy if you want to understand it enough to intelligently share: slow-it-down ...but without the annoying echo!

A few things in the live show were buggy but I have got a new phone since. My only problem is even tho I pay for a plan they take a pretty big cut it seems of my revenue. Seems a little high or I may have misunderstood. No complaints on the fact that I can make money but would love to make more lol Great app, if I run into more problems technologically I may change this.

I have constant buffering problems on the app. At home, at work, everywhere. I know the automatic response is going to be “It’s your connection.”, but it isn’t. It’s not a WiFi issue, because Podbean is the ONLY issue I have on my phone. The worst thing is that if I have to pause a long podcast, I know when I go back to it that it will try to start where I left off but will never play. It just buffers. Right now, as I type this, I’ve been waiting for 15 minutes hoping that an episode of “Something to Wrestle” will start back up but it won’t. I’ll have to shut off and restart my phone just for the app to work again. I liked the app at first but it has become absolute garbage in the last couple weeks. I’m never using Podbean, again.

The features I love about this app are: -Very easy to make playlists (the main thing I couldn’t find on several other free apps!) -Keeps listen history so I can easily return to a podcast I didn’t follow or save to a playlist -Customizable order in which episodes and follow list appear (oldest, newest, etc) -In general just very easy to keep track of the podcasts I want to listen to Thankfully, all of the bugs/ features I don’t like are pretty minor, but it would definitely improve the experience if they were fixed: -Often pauses immediately after I click play, so I have to hit play again. I listen on Bluetooth and saw another review mention this same problem. -Audio controls disappear from lock screen if you pause for more than a couple seconds (saw this in another review as well) -When I’m browsing the app and the episode is paused, clicking anywhere on the bottom bar to return to the episode (not just the play icon in the bottom right) automatically plays it. I think there should be a way to return to the episode while keeping it paused, and it should only play if I hit a play icon. -The green downloaded icon does not always appear by recently downloaded episodes, so I frequently have to double check -The skip 15/30s doesn’t work when the episode is paused -It would be nice if the catalog of shows/categories was more extensive in order to discover more new shows.

Good, but does have bugs from time to time. Current bug is that when downloaded episodes auto-delete after listening, sometimes they auto-delete another downloaded episode and mark it as listened. It's been happening for a few weeks, and I just watched it happen as an episode disappeared from my downloads.

Really good podcast, especially when practitioners are interviewed (like a Wes Beavis). The celebrity Christian interviews aren’t that helpful (IMO) from a practical standpoint since it’s like visiting a another church at a conference— what worked in one place doesn’t necessarily work in another. Also, Steve said a couple inconsistent things in his recent cast with Brendan Reed. Steve said integrity was important to him but he later related two examples where he purposely lied to the elders and purposely preached a poor sermon, both to try and “correct” his personal thought and behavior. Really? I get wanting to see personal growth in oneself and leadership team, but does the end justify the means? Seems to make an idol out of “managing leadership anxiety” over against the need for God’s people to hear the good news of Jesus. Anyway, still a great show and I look forward to it. Peace.
  • Love the app, but.. Oct 11, 2017

Well, I had high hopes that the new update would fix the ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ podcast, which hasn’t worked for quite a good while. Unfortunately it is still not working..will not download or play at all. If you look at the comments on the podcast, you will see that others are complaining about this as well. I would appreciate it if you could look into this and get it back up and running again. Please and thank you. I received your email reply to my review, which stated: “Thanks for your feedback. We checked the ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ podcast. It is password-protected content. That's why you could not play it.” Ok...and the solution to the problem is...what??What do I have to do to have the right to make it play again, because it used to work for me just fine?? Thanks.
  • Love it; found a bug in first 4 hours of use Oct 10, 2018

    By Holbytla-ess
First off, I’ll start w the bug. When streaming content (I know your default is downloading a new episode, and sometimes I end up listening to old ones), the time/progress bar doesn’t work. Both ends say “00:00” and the red line doesn’t move. This means that the step-back and step-forward buttons do crazy things when you push them. Pls fix? (Note: downloaded episodes don’t do this - they work as expected) The great thing is this is the only other app I’ve found (than Apple’s out-of-box) that allows you to reorder the episodes from old to new, so if you miss a couple days, you can start w the oldest and just listen! I love the look and feel, as well. Thanks soooo much for making a great app!

So I’ve used this app for about 2 years, and I even switched to Apple podcast between that time, and let me tell you, I’m so impressed with this app. The 2 other apps I used including Apple really weren’t up to even the basic podcast app standards. Just take my word for it, this is the only app for Pods I’ll ever use again, now about the bad, there really isn’t a lot, but the occasional crash was happening to me for a while, but it hasn’t happened in a while, but just something to keep in mind. Another thing is that it seems like a couple of my shows I listened to don’t seem to update as fast as the Apple app did for me. But now you know, this app is really great, but I can’t give it 5 stars knowing the little things wrong with it.
  • Works well when downloaded, minor issues keep from 5 star Apr 8, 2019

    By Mhg2014
If the podcast is downloaded ahead of time, you can skip back and forth at will fairly easily, but if not, it will buffer for long periods of time. Also randomly stops counting as the music played by my iPhone, so if I’m in my car, I can’t use the car control to skip forward and back, which is frustrating since that’s where I mostly listen. This is the only app I’ve had that happen with, so I’m unsure what causes it, but can usually fix it by turning the phone off and on again. Otherwise the app is very good, with a wide selection as long as you remember to download ahead of time.
  • Breaking up with wholesome May 11, 2021

    By attachment_issues

It would be nice if you had a better way of displaying long file names. It's impossible to navigate a podcast where all the names are longer than two lines and I can't even see what I am playing. It makes the whole experience dysfunctional. Another thing that is really necessary is a search button within a followed channel.
  • Great app with great features, but still buggy Nov 26, 2019

    By Spicey90
I love this app with all it's features, especially the control that you have over playlists, and batch managing podcast episodes. It's perfect for someone like me who listens to nearly 20 episodes a week of different podcasts. However, there are a couple of small bugs that keep me from rating it five stars. When I'm connected to a Bluetooth device, the first time I try to play from the app, it will stop immediately. I have to press play a second time for a podcast to play. Second, the app will not always delete played episodes from a playlist. And third, the app will often disappear from the lock screen when paused. Edit: I dropped my review from four to three stars because the app stopped automatically playing the next episode, even after turning the option off and back on and restarting the app.
  • Has all my podcasts on it but it’s glitchy Aug 13, 2020

    By JEDIKAIRI
Has a great selection of podcasts and I like the playlist feature. But the app has been rather glitchy over the 2-3 months I’ve been using it. It frequently doesn’t download new podcasts that are posted from podcasts I am subscribed to, rarely functions on my CarPlay radio, I almost always have to make selections on my phone instead of on the radio because it doesn’t load on CarPlay reliably. Also I don’t like that main page it automatically takes you to isn’t a list of your current podcasts, it takes you to an explore page and I have to click two selections before I even can see what podcasts are downloaded and ready to play.
  • Loved it, but the bugs... Nov 16, 2017

    By Obie7810
Lately the app has been messing up. I’ll be in the middle of a podcast and it will stop playing and do the spinning wheel thing until I give up. My entire trip last night was spent in silence because I kept waiting for it to load. Since I’m driving, I can’t mess with my phone until I arrive at my destination. My trip was 45 minutes. It’s done it all day today too. No matter how many times I restart the app or my phone, the app won’t work again until the next day. I drive for Lyft and like to listen to podcasts on the way to my riders and on the way home. Now I have to find an app that will actually play my podcast. Please fix this.
  • Decent podcast app, kinda buggy Aug 20, 2019

    By Floppy donger
Not terrible but could use some work. I will preface this by saying I’m using an iPhone 6 and streaming. Pretty regularly I cannot continue listening to episode if I stop in the middle and come back to it later or the next day. It will try to load but never actually load. If I try to restart the episode it will do the same thing. If I jump to the next episode it works fine. I don’t know if it’s any different with downloaded episodes, I only use the streaming function. This happens on several different podcasts including true crime garage, get off my lawn, stuff you should know and others.
  • I have lots of problems with this app Feb 1, 2019

    By Blueridge96
I have lots of problems with the podbean app. First the interface is almost impossible to read it is so light and small the font is almost undecipherable. I find it very hard to find where my podcasts are that I want to listen to. My second big pet peeve is that once my podcast is over it doesn’t rollover to the next podcast. So then I have to go back and find where the podcast are, find one that I haven’t played, yet again in the super light tiny font but I can’t read it, it’s orange p, and find the next in the series that I want to hear. My third issue is the played podcast cannot be deleted. Teri
  • An OK podcast app Jan 31, 2021

    By Suom ynona
Recently started using this to continue following a podcaster that switched platforms. Compared to the app I had been using this feels like a big step backwards. The interface is a little cumbersome. The audio quality doesn’t seem as good, especially when speeding up audio and using silent skip feature. Skipping ahead on slow cellular seems to cause issues for me to the point I have to swipe up the app and reopen. Definitely some room for improvement to catch up to other big name podcast apps out there.
  • Not on the go Jan 8, 2019

    By Aklander
If you use the app download your podcasts before listening this app is unable to fuction if you are moving otherwise. While moving (like in a car) The app will attempt to play and spend its time spinning in place of the play button, like its buffering. If I stop on the side of the road for a minute it’ll play and continue to play even after driving again, but If I don’t stop it won’t play regardless to how long it’s spinning or how many times restarting it. Otherwise I do use the app often.

  • Ok, but frustrating Dec 3, 2018

    By Qafzeh
Like the layout and how things are organized. However, after using for many months, I am fed up with the CONSTANT loss of memory on where I am at in a given podcast. It is so frustrating to scroll through and find where you left off. This happens all the time. It also is very inconsistent in downloading new episodes automatically. I frequently see that there is a new episode. Yay! Then look at downloads and... nope. Not downloaded. Finally, when streaming, it will often take 4+ minutes for the stream to start. Cellular, wi-fi, doesn’t matter. Quickly check Netflix or other apps on streaming something new.... no problem. Not the connection and not the phone. Podbean will still be waiting... time to move on to something else.
  • Network Error Apr 27, 2020

    By myshale21
I love this app because of all the podcasts that it offers. However, I have a hard time opening up the app and getting it to work. There is always some kind of network error that keeps it from working. Even if I close the app out totally and re open it and start a podcast, it still flashes an Error. Get that fixed and it would be great. Updated: the problem seems to be with any podcast that I try to open. Even if I reset and close out Podbean, it will still show an error. When I do get it to work, the pod cast that I was in the middle of listening to will start over. While it doesn’t happen all the time, it’s happened enough that I have stopped using the Podbean app.
  • I want to love this app Feb 15, 2020

    By Packy27
I really love the functionality that this app provides... I just wish it actually worked. On random episodes of a variety of podcasts that I listen to it just randomly decides to stop playing partway through the episode. Seemingly, nothing I can do (restarting the app, redownloading the episode, etc.) will cause it to resume playing that specific episode. It doesn’t seem to matter whether the episode is downloaded or being streamed. The app has been updated multiple times and reinstalled yet this issue persists. It doesn’t do the same thing on Apple that podcasts app but I really prefer the functionality that the Podbean app provides. Please fix this guys, so I can like your app!
  • Some disappointing things Dec 9, 2020

    By DasunK77
The Home Screen (free version) advertises several podcasts that are inappropriate-showing language on the cover, quite a few sexual things, etc... There’s no way to avoid seeing these things unless you pay. I would love for it to go to the podcasts I’m listening to, I stead of that page and I’d love to be able to filter that stuff out. I also found that I had to go into my podcast and scroll to find the next episode every time, instead of it just playing the next consecutive one. It would stop playing after listening to one and you’d have to scroll back through again. I switched to the Podcast App and it’s been good so far.
  • Unfortunate Jun 30, 2020

    By Jen8jen
I just switched to an Apple phone, and the previous podcast app I used was not available, so I am trying out several to find one that works. This was wholly disappointing. It’s great that you can make different playlists, but what is the point of being able to change the order the podcasts will play in on the list, if the app plays them in whatever order it wants? Add to that the inability for the app to continuous play if connected to ANY Bluetooth, whether CarPlay or wireless ear buds. Going back to Overcast; can’t tell which podcasts have new episodes, but at least I can control the order they are played in, and they play continuously regardless of how I’m listening.
  • Hard to find current listen Jul 23, 2018

    By Csmoferret
I would love to rate this much higher but the aggravation and frustration of having to search for the podcast I am listening to every time it stops or ends and I want to listen to the next episode ( actually the previous Unheard episode ) is maddening. I just want a podcast player to listen to casts I have not heard yet to recognize I am listening to the same one for a while and actually put it on the main/front page so it is easy for me to find/restart etc. Having to go back to my account and look at my pay history and backtrack to the podcast I want to hear tales away from my listening time and makes me cranky.

  • Glitchy, automatically downloads things I am not I interested in. Feb 28, 2021

    By Zanedubya
The app automatically downloads episodes (30 of them for me!) of shows that I have no interest in and would never listen to. Most concerning were 6 podcast episodes advocating conspiracy theories. Why are you recommending that your listeners get invested in conspiracy theories? Why are you automatically downloading a show called “the moth” (10 episodes) a podcast about beating procrastination (7 episodes), and a Catholic liturgy reading (4 episodes, I’m not Catholic). The app is also glitchy. Trying to rewind it skip ahead while listening to a podcast causes seconds of silence. Sometimes a podcast will stop playing altogether and will not be playable until I’ve forced the app to restart. For a podcast app, it’s not very good at navigating podcasts.
  • Does not sync history or where I stopped across devices Feb 25, 2021

    By Definition by character
Does not sync history or where I stopped across devices. That’s the main reason I got this app as the podcast I love is only on this app. So when I play on my iPad, I go to my iPhone later and can’t pick up from where I left off on the iPad. Hope an update adds this feature unless am missing something. UPDATE ON 25 February 2021 Sorry still 1 star rating. I have to go to the same device to be able to pick up from where I left off. In this day and age, you have to know that people are using more than one device, especially people in  ecosystem. So, when the app can remember where i left off across multiple devices, I’ll give more stars.
  • Very buggy Aug 10, 2020

    By Davidstriga
It’s very buggy, and it might be related to the ads. I’ll open a podcast and click play, but I’ll get a loading icon; then the ad loads and five times out of ten, the podcast never plays. However, the ads never seem to have an issue loading, adding insult to injury. Not sure if the advertisements are related to the podcast not playing or not, but it seems to be related. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to play a podcast without an ad loading first. Maybe the precedence should be to play the podcast first and then load the ad. If you’re not paying for the premium version, you’ll also have stomach all the political ads.
  • Slow, unresponsive... Dec 2, 2020

    By Vinny Reggiannini
It’s hard to justify giving this app a 1 star review, but since it fails at simply functioning as a Podcast player on a most basic level I can’t help but lay out the facts. It’s slow, unresponsive and frustrating. It can take literally a full minute of starting, pausing, starting over and over again until it actually starts playing the show I want. It’s unfortunate that my favorite Podcasters chose to protect their IP with this app (not allowing downloading of their shows so I can play them on an app that actually works), but I can’t help but think the developers of this app chose protecting these Podcaster’s IP over having a useful, functional app.
