The design hasn't changed in years and it could be so much better. It seems sort of dull, theme-wise. Now it does work for placing orders. Personally, I normally hit the back button on my phone to go back a page but the app doesn't allow this, which I find tiresome and annoying. Needs a full redesign. Cosmetically. more -
Favorite pizza

Not only the food but the customer service is top tier and that hasn’t changed since I first ate at a Pizza Hut in California when I was a lot younger. With that being said once in awhile the app gives me issues because I’m not technologically savvy lol but whenever I call to our neighborhood Pizza Hut whether a manager or crew member answers the phone 9xs out of 10 they really do go above and beyond to help me figure out whatever I need. I just add that our Pizza Hut on sw29th and May has the friendliest staff possibly ever. Now around 2:40 today my husband went to that Pizza Hut for contactless curbside carry out or whatever it’s called and waited in the car at least 5 minutes and said nobody came out with our order. I asked him if it was busy and he said he only saw employees inside the restaurant. So he had to get out the car and go in and looked and saw his name on the board with order status as ready so I’m wondering why nobody brought the food out? The app even asked me his cars make model color etc and where’s to put the food so I don’t understand if I did something wrong but I know I specifically wanted curbside because his knees bad and I wanted him to walk as little as possible. So I still am team Pizza Hut I’m just wondering what happened. Thank you so much for your time and attention. more -

May 16, 2019 By DannycmjfI have use this app 25 times to order my kids Pizza Hut because that’s the one they prefer, when you’re picking toppings on like the other two main competitors, if you pick pepperoni you can’t put on this half only on that half only on all the pizza, you pick it is on all the pizza, there’s always a problem with something and it doesn’t know what it is the test tells you to go back and check everything, God for bid you re-order one of your previous orders and happens to be on a day where Wednesdays have cheaper wings so the owner can’t go through for literally about a dollar that they don’t wanna “overcharge you”, and don’tForget never combined two deals at the same time. The app is ridiculously glitchy, I have to sign back in every time, and the refurbishment honest with you the service that I received has been more than subpar, my kids basically eat the pepperoni off the pizza and I decided OK why don’t I start getting the pepperoni lovers pizza last week in arrived with two pieces of pepperoni and three slices 2 1/2 to 3 pieces of pepperoni on the rest. So I literally paid five dollars more on the five dollar deal to get the equivalent of what may have been one to two extra pepperonis, I’ve had five dollars for 1 to 2 extra pepperonis, I didn’t expect to get as much pepperoni is the picture showed but this was ridiculous more -

That wasn't the case tonight, I wanted a very simple order: two pastas and a melt that is shown on the app. I tried selecting the pastas twice through the main menu and it would change the items at check out. The melt that I would've loved to have isn't on the menu anywhere even though I've had it from this location before. I got the mix and match pasta combo for 15.99 with breadsticks, but the individual price for pasta is 9.49. more -
Please update app for topping selection for baked pasta

We order the baked pasta for two and always have to ask for two marinara sauces, you certainly do not expect my wife and I to share one sauce when we split the breadsticks that comes with the deal. We absolutely love that meal deal… I get the meats and she gets the veggie.. need to update the app the be able to remove toppings and to allow the store to adjust this item as well. We ran into issue with our last visit in Gloucester, Va.. where I called the store right as I was ordering on the app, asking not to include olives or green peppers, in place of that please add extra mushrooms. When I got to the store, hers had olives in it. Say if I did not look at the order, and when I got home, wife would have ripped me a new one… so please correct the system and that store so when I call, we can edit the order. I left my last review with this information as well as calling the corporate customer service number and spoke to someone there as well.. as a solution please DO NOT remove the baked pasta as we love them, just fix the app and your store policy (per that store manager) unable to change on their screens. Only thing I have any problem with is sometimes when i hit the make payment button...it sits there for a second then says error. In a few seconds a screen pops back up showing check out screen again, however i have already paid and the payment was taken from the credit card. I could see how someone may order twice if they didn't go check the CC statement online to see that it was already paid for. more -

The Pizza Hut on Pass Road by the Naval Base has finally hit the bottom.(especially with customer service) I talked to Adam, manager on duty, and it was like talking to the pizza box. Our last experience was terrible. Pizza was cold, tasted bad etc. The wings were even worse. The manager called me back the next day and wanted to know what happened. I told her about bad CS and terrible food. She just called to find out who it was and what happened. DID NOT OFFER TO TRY AGAIN! We stopped going for a couple of months until tonight. My husband (senior citizen) stopped in to give them another chance. The person up front did not offer any customer service. If a customer walked in to me I would offer him a special and save him $5.00 But instead he took advantage of a senior citizen. He came home with a ticket and it was $5.00 more than the last one and it was a medium pizza instead of a large. I called up there but the night manager did not care AT ALL. He pretty much said TOO BAD LADY. I will TRY to call upper management but it will probably be a waste of time. more -

However, today, I went to order my family's weekly pizza night pizza, and when I tried to add more than three toppings, I kept getting the "topping overload" message that another reviewer mentioned. It's so weird because I could order a specialty pizza with more toppings, no problem.🤔 more -

Instead you have to "Continue as guest," then on the menu page go to sign in. Looks exactly the same, but actually works correctly. I don't understand why it is like this. It's easier to just order through a web browser. more

Updated app came out with bugs
Apr 7, 2019 By BcookinThe previous version had some issues but they weren’t much of a problem and could be worked around. The new user interface seems a little clunky and there are a couple of problems that caused me to have to do some troubleshooting. First, user interface is a step by step procedure that, while it gets the job done theoretically, it seems like it could be refined to speed the process. The first problem I had was with the crust flavor section. I honestly don’t remember getting the option to set the flavor the first time I tried to set up my pizza. I went through the rest of the process thinking they were going to ask later but it never came up. Then I couldn’t find a way to edit the fact it had “no flavor” on the crust in the end and I had to start all over. When I got back to the beginning, I saw the crust flavor section and when I tried to tap on “no flavor”, it just moved to the pizza sauce section. I got frustrated and just ended up selecting a pizza I had bought previously. The next problem was in the payment section. First I couldn’t find the Visa checkout option and I wish there was an Apple Pay option but as I entered my credit card info and tapped the button, it notified me I forgot to fill out my name. No problem, I filled out my name then it tells me to fill out the credit card number. The number was already filled out. I checked it against my credit card and ended up just refilling the same number again and it worked. more -

You will click an option then suddenly the program vanishes, and you have to re-open it. Even their website does this. I spent more than 40 minutes trying to order using both the app and the sight. Nothing. I downloaded installed and ordered with the dominos app in less than 5 minutes. Pizza hut rewards are useless if you can't place an order. more -

When checking out, it'll say uh oh, network error, or something went wrong, or, you have to wait 5 minutes before you can place order again. Even though it does go through to the store. You have to call and see if the order went through and how many times it went through if you tried to check out more than once. Apps up to date more -
Bring back the “No sauce” option
Sep 6, 2022 By Dom-AshleiPlease bring back the option of selecting no sauces. So many people eat pizza without sauce due to the individual not liking it or being allergic. It is unfair for those that have to select a certain sauce now on the application. Personally, I have order pizza’s without sauce for years. Using this application was very beneficial to me when selecting the no sauce option. Now, I have to select previous orders due to the company removing that selection. It is an inconvenience when placing my order. Now, I have to follow up by calling the stores each time to notify them I would not like sauce on my pizza. Recently, I had botched orders. I called the store after placing my online re-order and spoke to the call center, which was supposed to relay the message that, “I did not want sauce on my pizza because the application didn’t give me the option.” The call center didn’t relay the message to the store. Once I arrived to pick up my order it was incorrect and had sauce on the pizza. Another time, I order via telephone to avoid the complications from the previous order. However, I wasn’t able to receive reward points because the caller didn’t ask for my phone number. It is very frustrating and a huge inconvenience. Please change the option back to choosing pizza without sauce for those that are allergic or don’t like sauces. Thank you more -
Omg fix your app!

I try to change my address because I travel for work, POP up talking about “contactless delivery blah, blah” telling me that I have to clear my cart to enter a different address (in a different room number in the same hotel) click Ok, nothing happens. Back out of and close the app, repeat of first problem. Completely delete the order, close the app and clear it, same problem. Delete the address completely from my saved addresses, go through the order process all the way to check out, wrong address again, the same one I deleted already from saved addresses. Click change address....REPEAT FROM BEGINNING. It’s a vicious circle of AHHHHHHHH!!!! I just wanted a pizza and now my blood pressure is through the roof AND I’m hungry. Trying to pay $25-30 just to get food to myself which is an exorbitant amount of money in the first place, I can go to a nice place, eat and have a few drinks for that. As a matter of fact, I think that’s what I’ll do! My 18yo daughter works for Pizza Hut while she’s in school and I raised her right and she’s commended constantly, I pay money to your restaurant maybe 2-3 times a month to feed the 5 people in my house and this is how I’m repaid, with an app that makes me want to yank my own eyeballs out. 🤯 Thanks Pizza Hut app developers! 🤬 more -
Difficulty with app.
Nov 3, 2021 By carry out meal loverApp wouldn’t allow ordering a pizza from the value menu. Must order minimum 2 items to order from the value menu. Very slow process. Tried to order 1 pizza from the value menu and an order of breadsticks. Tried 3 times. Each time app read that an error had occurred. Deleted trying to order a pizza and just ordered the breadsticks and a dessert. Success. Went back an tried to add a pizza from the value menu. Same message. An error had occurred. Removed the request for the pizza from the value menu and then was able to order the breadsticks and the dessert. This occurred also, the last time I tried to order a pizza from the value menu. Also, on new version of the app, there is no way, that I have found, to be able to order additional sides of dipping sauces. Used to be able to do this on the old version of the app. Went to the website, to try to place order, since I was having such a difficult time with this app. The website was even more difficult to use. Don’t have the inclination to go through all of the problems encountered when trying to use the website. Trying to order online makes one worn out and weary. Use up an employee’s time by calling the restaurant and placing order over the phone? Or just order from another pizza restaurant? more -

So, that doesn't make any sense why we can't order more than 3 toppings now on anything else or add something to a specialty pizza. Please fix the app! more -
From bad to worse

Prior to that, it authorized my charge twice, but the store never received my order. Tried again just now. I get through the entire order and click Submit. Tells me there is an error and my store isn’t accepting online orders. I need to change me location. Change MY location? Let me buy another house just to make it convenient for you, Pizza Hut. I also get a lot of “Out of Stock” notices when trying to put an order through. At least those appear in the front end of the order as opposed to at the end when I’m trying to complete the purchase. There is potential in this app, but Pizza Hut developers and/or receiving restaurants are making this a waste of time. Am genuinely recommending that you call a local and Izzy parlor and place your order over the phone as opposed to wasting time with this app. Something I’m about to do because Pizza Hut won’t accept an invoice for the time I’ve lost. (PS: the did send me a coupon for a free pizza once when I complained about this app, but the coupon required that I use it in a restaurant. I called corporate and confirmed I had to go to a restaurant to use it. Tells you how much faith they have in their own app!) more -

The app doesn't save address, location or preferred store properly, and has huge pop-ups every time you do anything. Trying to select menu options will sometimes just add stuff to your cart, or take you back to the main menu, where you will get more pop-ups for sides. more -
App is stuck in a loop!
Jan 28, 2022 By tlk79I downloaded the app today to pre-order for a high school team event. I can’t even get past the account setup page because it is stuck in a loop! It won’t accept that I don’t have an extension for my phone number so it jumps back to that field every time I enter my birthdate (just below the extension field) and resets my bday to today. So after figuring out how to bypass that loop (don’t hit “next” on your keyboard, tap into a previous field to get out of the Bday). I make it to the bottom and tap “create account” and it insists my passwords are unacceptable. It wants 6 letters and I’ve tried every version of all lowercase, combo of case sensitive, numbers/symbols and it just denies them all but doesn’t say why. So I go back and try a fake extension for my phone, it then finally accepts my password (I guess??) because the error is now that my phone number is already in use. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE APP!!!!!! I work with computers and tech for a living so I would say I’m fairly capable of installing, understanding and using apps. Good god I give up. Is this in beta????? Needed to place the order before any of the local stores are open and wanted to be able to confirm it or get notifications later so figured this was the way to go, but forget it! Taking our business somewhere else. more

Major Bug.
Jun 14, 2019 By Four10100The app is designed very well and the user experience is great. However there is a major bug that doesn’t appear to have been addressed. Occasionally when adding something to the cart an error message is thrown and the item does not appear in the cart. Every subsequent item you attempt to add to the cart will throw the error and none will appear in the cart. Once you go to checkout none of the items appear in the subtotal or anywhere on the cart, BUT when your payment processes all the items that threw the error are on the order, charged on your card, and the items appear on the employee side so they just start making them. I got charged for 5 brownies and a couple other items I added while testing. Luckily I checked the order history immediately when I saw I gained over 100 points for 2 pizzas and called the store to cancel it, but this can cause SERIOUS headaches for customers and should be addressed. Unfortunately I don’t know what causes the initial error, and force closing the app didn’t help. more -

Worst app ever!!

Takes you forever to trudge through putting together an order to find out that they have your location wrong & they automatically switched the store that you want to pick it up to another store in a different city & then you have to start all over again!! Argh!!!!! Then I tried to pay w Apple Pay which I have used successfully before & it won’t let it go through! So I typed in all my credit card info on 3 different debit/credit cards 4 or 5 times & it still doesn’t take my card!!! Then I get an alert that my card has been used for a Pizza Hut purchase but the app says nothing!! I finally called the store to verbally order the takeout pizza & I’m told I have to come down and order in person to use a credit card!!! I HATE THIS APP!! Even though it has worked before a couple of times, it is always confusing and frustrating!! And I LOVE Pizza Hut pizza!!! Not today! I’m ordering from anyone else than Pizza Hut!! more -
App will not update or download now!!!

This same thing happened two weeks ago where I ended up calling, and that was another headache, nevertheless, I open my app on my iPhone 8 running iOS 13.4.1. I also have Norton’s VPN on. The app tells me that have to Update Now, without another option. So I hit the button and it goes and opens the App Store, it turns the download icon to a blue bar that says Update Now and when I hit it, it starts twirling in wonderland. After 5 minutes I give up and close the Apple Store and close the app and then I try the whole process again and again. I now turn off all of Norton’s secure features that protect me, thus leaving me exposed to the world and I try this process over and over with no new results. I decided to delete my app and reinstall it again, but after about 3 minutes of twirling it comes back to the download app mode. What do I need to do te give you all some business? more -
Nearly Flawless

However, the only major gripe that I have is about adjusting the pickup/delivery time. Now, I will admit, that it is more operator error, than a flaw, because most of the time when I order, I make sure that the time I selected is right. The first time that I could’ve sworn that I adjusted the time, it was for about 2 hours before pickup. Even though I had noticed immediately after I had placed the order, I still had to call the store, and which they said that they weren’t able to change the time in the computer, but instead just manually set it for the time that I wanted. I felt bad for them. Now, again, yesterday, I had ordered, and the time that I selected didn’t get accepted, either. Since it was about 30 minutes before I had requested, I went to pick the pizza up, instead of calling to have them adjust the time, again. So, as far as suggestions, I don’t know if there is a way to make sure to verify the pickup/delivery time before finalizing the order? Or maybe make the time selection on its own separate screen that everybody has to enter for every order, and then ask them to verify that the time they selected is correct? Other than this request, the app is very nice, and it makes ordering easy! Thanks! more -
First time user, bad experience.
May 5, 2019 By J.A. RamirezI was at the checkout screen and it kept saying my zipcode was invalid. It asked me to find a Pizza Hut when I started and it did so I continued through the process. So how was it wrong? I go back to edit the address. Turns out you can’t. You get a window that says changing the order might cancel it. So okay. I went back and added my primary address directly in the profile tab. I go back to checkout and it lets me select the address I added. Cool. Then I try to finish and now it said I don’t have any items?? So the pizzas count as nothing? And the $35+ came from nowhere? So I tried to delete an item and it said an error occurred and the entire order was empty. I had to restart all over again. PLEASE make the text fields show the autocomplete. It’s annoying having to type all the fields especially the card number when it’s already saved in iOS (picture wasn’t working on Citi Double Cash card). Bad user experience. more -
Gets expensive in a hurry

So there is that. It’s just so expensive that it can’t be done as often as my family would like... like weekly at least. Due to the cost it’s more of a special occasion kind of treat, like for a birthday. So a few times a year instead. Their loss. Our loss. UPDATE: was left sitting amongst numerous boxes delivered to our 220 apt building, no receipt. No receipt! Nothing to identify the order... and multiple residents were already circling the order!? They were discussing who’s it was, what was on it. And one box’s “seal” was open. At least there needed to be a receipt to let everyone (and myself) whose order it was. (Oh, and no marinara sauce. No quite “pizza” without sauce. The wings were delicious, as were the cheese sticks.) My tip will be less next time... much less. And if the app allows I will ask that they wait for me, rather than abandon my $40+ order to hungry people without even buzzing my apartment that they were here, as I did request. I headed down as soon as I had been texted that my order was out for delivery, but my family says no one buzzed... so very good I did head down or else our food would gave likely been snatched up by someone else, particularly in these difficult times. more -
App has too many bugs and doesn’t work at all!

The app doesn’t allow you to enter an email address or select any of the options to redeem points or see account settings. In order to order online, I have to place an order as a guest-which means I don’t earn any points for my order. If I try to sign in just before checkout, it repeatedly gives me a Login error. I’m using the most current version of the mobile app and have the same problems on my phone and iPad. They either don’t know how to correctly build a bug-free app or are just trying to prevent you from earning points for your orders. Either way, the app is crap and if there were another pizza company nearby that delivered, I wouldn’t even bother ordering Pizza Hut. more -
Great Pizza, Glitching Service

Had continuous great service and the Pizza is in my opinion, the current best of the big name brand pizza places. However, when I redeemed my order, would not let me redeem my points for the first half of the day and kept telling me to try again later, then found out you need to have a $11 minimum order for delivery. You can’t just pay delivery fee for a free pizza. The app said it would take about 27-31 minutes to make and deliver. It took them an hour and a half and some how the app glitched and turned banana peppers into pineapple. Called the store to have it fixed and they said the problem was my fault and kept implying that there’s nothing they can do. I had several great orders from this company over the last two weeks, so I say be careful with the app. more

May 16, 2019 By DannycmjfI have use this app 25 times to order my kids Pizza Hut because that’s the one they prefer, when you’re picking toppings on like the other two main competitors, if you pick pepperoni you can’t put on this half only on that half only on all the pizza, you pick it is on all the pizza, there’s always a problem with something and it doesn’t know what it is the test tells you to go back and check everything, God for bid you re-order one of your previous orders and happens to be on a day where Wednesdays have cheaper wings so the owner can’t go through for literally about a dollar that they don’t wanna “overcharge you”, and don’tForget never combined two deals at the same time. The app is ridiculously glitchy, I have to sign back in every time, and the refurbishment honest with you the service that I received has been more than subpar, my kids basically eat the pepperoni off the pizza and I decided OK why don’t I start getting the pepperoni lovers pizza last week in arrived with two pieces of pepperoni and three slices 2 1/2 to 3 pieces of pepperoni on the rest. So I literally paid five dollars more on the five dollar deal to get the equivalent of what may have been one to two extra pepperonis, I’ve had five dollars for 1 to 2 extra pepperonis, I didn’t expect to get as much pepperoni is the picture showed but this was ridiculous more -

That wasn't the case tonight, I wanted a very simple order: two pastas and a melt that is shown on the app. I tried selecting the pastas twice through the main menu and it would change the items at check out. The melt that I would've loved to have isn't on the menu anywhere even though I've had it from this location before. I got the mix and match pasta combo for 15.99 with breadsticks, but the individual price for pasta is 9.49. more -

Only thing I have any problem with is sometimes when i hit the make payment button...it sits there for a second then says error. In a few seconds a screen pops back up showing check out screen again, however i have already paid and the payment was taken from the credit card. I could see how someone may order twice if they didn't go check the CC statement online to see that it was already paid for. more -

Apartment complex’s can be very difficult for a driver to find the right building and leaving good directions ensures our food arrives hot and fresh. Our complex has horrible building markers and it’s frustrating to always have to walk outside searching for the driver. It’s not their fault we don’t have proper signage. And the app is lacking some basic functions like being able to use your points once you have built the order. It would also be nice to not have to start from scratch to change from delivery to pick up or whatever. And lastly, too many deal options makes it overwhelming!! When there is 20 different ways to enter an order, I find myself trying the same order in different deals to see what is better. And it’s silly. Give me a basic deal and leave it at that because in the end, it’s all about the same price anyways. But overall, the Pizza Hut app is still better than most others. I appreciate that! more -
GREAT app, but...

You don’t have to annoy the person on the other line with all the waiting on people to decide and figure out their orders. However, I would love to be able to change my credit card info. The first time using this app I had to use another persons card because they were paying. Now every time I place an order their credit card info immediately for the default pay. No where in the app can you change this, you are forced to have to type in your information every time if it’s not the default and it can get a little tedious. This app has great potential and could go a lot deeper in depth than it already has. An example would be having toppings on a quarter of the pizza as an option. There is a half option, but no quarter. Now would that be nice? Overall the app is super useful and it gets the job done. more -
Takes forever

If we’re ever starving and can’t wait to eat, we just have to order from somewhere else. If we want the delicious food from Pizza Hut, we have to be sure we’re not too hungry and we have to order it way ahead of time. We stopped ordering from Pizza Hut about a year ago because of delivery times, but we received an email a few months later with a coupon, asking us to come back and that delivery times had improved. This was not the case. That was a few months ago. Now that Pizza Hut has these new deals, we wanted to give them another try. A couple of weeks ago, it took an hour and a half to get our food. I ordered them again today because my kids begged me to, and it’s already been over half an hour, and according to the app and online, not only is their estimated delivery time over an hour, they haven’t even started cooking the food yet. more -
Good app, except for one issue…

It’s convenient to order via the app, not only for potential discounts, but you don’t have to call and be asked “can you please hold?”. The issue I encountered today was that I ordered a pizza tonight (I always use the ‘continue as guest’ part of the app), and I decided to use contact-less curbside to pick up my pizza; however this means using Apple Pay (which I think would be OK). Unfortunately after I got my pizza, I was “overcharged” - I didn’t get the discount I was hoping for. (I also went to a different P.H. location). While I will continue to use this app, I will NOT use Apple Pay-I will pay inside instead (so in the unlikely event of another issue, maybe I can “fix it”, so this won’t happen again. I am uncertain if it was the store or this app that had a ‘glitch’). Still, four out of five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ isn’t bad. more -
Disappointed customer

Because of the extreme high delivery orders I received a call from the manager Caesar asking me if we would prefer to come and pickup the order instead and he would remove the delivery surcharge, now this wasn’t the issue... the issue started when the my spouse went to pickup the order. Because my spouse wasn’t aware of the complete order the female employee handed her only half the order prompting me to have to contact the establishment again. Upon returning back to the store the same female associate again appeared to be confused and unsure of our order nor what I was there for after I told her the name on the order. After it was all said and done they still failed to give us all of our order. I highly suggest if your planning on visiting this establishment to check your order throughly because the employees don’t seem to care. more

The design hasn't changed in years and it could be so much better. It seems sort of dull, theme-wise. Now it does work for placing orders. Personally, I normally hit the back button on my phone to go back a page but the app doesn't allow this, which I find tiresome and annoying. Needs a full redesign. Cosmetically. more -
Favorite pizza

Not only the food but the customer service is top tier and that hasn’t changed since I first ate at a Pizza Hut in California when I was a lot younger. With that being said once in awhile the app gives me issues because I’m not technologically savvy lol but whenever I call to our neighborhood Pizza Hut whether a manager or crew member answers the phone 9xs out of 10 they really do go above and beyond to help me figure out whatever I need. I just add that our Pizza Hut on sw29th and May has the friendliest staff possibly ever. Now around 2:40 today my husband went to that Pizza Hut for contactless curbside carry out or whatever it’s called and waited in the car at least 5 minutes and said nobody came out with our order. I asked him if it was busy and he said he only saw employees inside the restaurant. So he had to get out the car and go in and looked and saw his name on the board with order status as ready so I’m wondering why nobody brought the food out? The app even asked me his cars make model color etc and where’s to put the food so I don’t understand if I did something wrong but I know I specifically wanted curbside because his knees bad and I wanted him to walk as little as possible. So I still am team Pizza Hut I’m just wondering what happened. Thank you so much for your time and attention. more -
Please update app for topping selection for baked pasta

We order the baked pasta for two and always have to ask for two marinara sauces, you certainly do not expect my wife and I to share one sauce when we split the breadsticks that comes with the deal. We absolutely love that meal deal… I get the meats and she gets the veggie.. need to update the app the be able to remove toppings and to allow the store to adjust this item as well. We ran into issue with our last visit in Gloucester, Va.. where I called the store right as I was ordering on the app, asking not to include olives or green peppers, in place of that please add extra mushrooms. When I got to the store, hers had olives in it. Say if I did not look at the order, and when I got home, wife would have ripped me a new one… so please correct the system and that store so when I call, we can edit the order. I left my last review with this information as well as calling the corporate customer service number and spoke to someone there as well.. as a solution please DO NOT remove the baked pasta as we love them, just fix the app and your store policy (per that store manager) unable to change on their screens. When you start to type names as an example...by the time you get to a certain point in a word it will automatically add the rest of the word, but as if to double the word(ex...BruckeBrucken)! Then you have to go back and delete extra letters as well as check other boxes to make sure it didnt happen in other spots! So annoying! more -
App Has Some Problems

If there is, please let me know. Using IPAD app. I was in the app and put a Tastemaker in my cart. Then I tried to order another pizza (not a Tastemaker)and a pizzone but for some reason it would not let me switch from a large pizza 3 top to a medium bbq chicken. I tried going clicking “menu” several times but nothing worked until I cleared the cart and started over completely, put in the pizzone and the bbq pizza first, and then added the Tastemaker pizza. Irritating to say the least. Then, I proceeded to pay for the pizza. I had two gift certificates that I wanted to use. Put in the first no problem but then discovered that the app does not take more than one. I tried a couple of times to “add a gift card” with no success and ended up using a credit card. This results in having several lower balance gift cards sitting around instead of being able to use them up. Other apps have the ability to add two or three gift cards in a transaction, why not Pizza Hut? more -

I think they should be able to update that in-app to reveal the actual prices instead of getting a rude surprise at checkout. Bought a $10.99 Tastemaker that was even advertised as such in the checkout only to be charged $14.99. Same with another order which was advertised as $14.99 only to be charged $21.29 at checkout. more

Updated app came out with bugs

The new user interface seems a little clunky and there are a couple of problems that caused me to have to do some troubleshooting. First, user interface is a step by step procedure that, while it gets the job done theoretically, it seems like it could be refined to speed the process. The first problem I had was with the crust flavor section. I honestly don’t remember getting the option to set the flavor the first time I tried to set up my pizza. I went through the rest of the process thinking they were going to ask later but it never came up. Then I couldn’t find a way to edit the fact it had “no flavor” on the crust in the end and I had to start all over. When I got back to the beginning, I saw the crust flavor section and when I tried to tap on “no flavor”, it just moved to the pizza sauce section. I got frustrated and just ended up selecting a pizza I had bought previously. The next problem was in the payment section. First I couldn’t find the Visa checkout option and I wish there was an Apple Pay option but as I entered my credit card info and tapped the button, it notified me I forgot to fill out my name. No problem, I filled out my name then it tells me to fill out the credit card number. The number was already filled out. I checked it against my credit card and ended up just refilling the same number again and it worked. more -

The app doesn't save address, location or preferred store properly, and has huge pop-ups every time you do anything. Trying to select menu options will sometimes just add stuff to your cart, or take you back to the main menu, where you will get more pop-ups for sides. more -
Love the pizza - hate the app

Rather, I’m here to talk today about how annoying this app is. Whenever I use the app, each selection I choose either results in an extended wait period while the next screen loads or …. absolutely nothing. No in between - nothing ever seems to load quickly, ever. Last night, I attempted to order through the app and, not only would the app not recognize my account, but the app didn’t recognize that there were any pizza huts in the area for me to pick up from! I tried multiple times inputting my address, only to either be told “there are no pizza huts in your area” OR the app would show pizza huts near me, but then never let me click on them to move forward with the order. I ended up having to call the store directly - well , not directly because Pizza Hut outsources their order service now. (Crazy! Haha.) which was equally a bad experience. (Classic customer service - waiting 7 minutes to order a pizza????) All in all, was very frustrated by the whole situation that could’ve been avoided if the app was just programmed better. more -

Just tonight I tried to place an order. I repeatedly got spinning wait icons followed by an error that something went wrong. So I gave up. But it turns out that one of those orders did go through and I ended up paying for a pizza that languished unclaimed because I never got confirmation in the app. So this free app cost me $15. more -

Here is my order problem example, wanted 2 pizzas 1 with all pepperoni, reg cheese, reg sauce (which I pay good attention to bc the other gets light cheese and light sauce) and then olives on half. For this one they gave me instead, extra cheese on half (which I hate!) Then for pizza #2, ordered all pepperoni with light cheese and sauce, ended up with up with only half pepperoni(which it clearly does not say on my order), I know I specifically said “NO” when the pop up menu suggest extra cheese too! Then if that’s not enough, to end the madness, my 4 pack of 20oz was ordered as 2 Pepsi’s and 2 mountain dews and guess what, got 3 mountain dews and1 Pepsi!!! Then I have a receipt on my pizza’s (the one with no description)that’s $10 less then the one a paid!!! What kinda of chaos is this, i guarantee when I call, and I will, they will do everything possible to blame it ALL on me, they always do. 9 out of 10 times, I prove my case! Ifwhen I call, my experience is different, I will update this review! Don’t hold your breath though! This app is awful mostly

I’ve earned a lot of points and it takes me over an hour sometimes to order having to go in and reset passwords and then the store doesn’t communicate with the app so you can’t just call the store to use points. I’m so frustrated with this thing half the time I just say forget it and order somewhere else. I really want to use my points and order other things with them for friends and family but the bugs on this app are horrific and there’s no customer service to speak of. Fix this app ASAP and you might actually get more business. This thing might work once a month. Thank goodness when I do order it records points I’ve spent at the store I just wish I could call the store to use points instead of having to use the website that always throws an error when checking out, or the app who won’t let you log in throwing some error about Json, I don’t know who this Jason guy is but he needs to get out of my app so I can use it! more -
Pizza often gets mixed up

Every time I order something a pizza is close to what we want, but not exactly. If you aren’t dealing with kids this isn’t a problem, but it can be. I have ordered a pizza with white sauce and one with red sauce. I picked it up and it was wrong I didn’t think twice about checking it was wrong. I ordered pizza for a classroom they delivered the pizza and we didn’t have the vegetarian pizza which is not fun for the 3 kids who have been told by their parents you can’t eat meat(not my favorite thing about teaching but not relevant) then I decided to order one last time on the app this time I would go in and pick it up and check the pizza. Again a simple order three two topping pizza’s with one white sauce. I get the pizza and there are 2 white sauce pizzas so I check the app and I realize I messed that one up for the sauce, but the toppings had been switched so one pizza was correct to my order on the app. Use it if you want 1 pizza and it is amazing more than 1 and it is wrong very often. more -
Delivery tracker

Sure it takes you right there after you order but heaven forbid you exit out of the link because it is impossible to find it again. Looked in my email, not there. Finally found it and it said “pizza is out for delivery” and that my estimated delivery was 30-45 minutes.. the same thing it said when I placed the order. I live 5 minutes down the road from this location.. it can’t take that long to get the pizza to my house. Surely it doesn’t mean that the pizza is going to be sitting in the box, in a car, for 45 minutes, when it has to travel 2.2 miles down the road. Apparently, that’s exactly what it means. My email said the pizza would be here by 6:30 but it is 6:50 and still no pizza. So I thought, ‘let’s check the tracker’ buuut that was no help at all. Can’t wait to eat cold pizza. At this point I should have just loaded my toddler and infant into the car and driven to the location to get the pizza myself. My kids would have been fed hot pizza and put to bed on time. more -

Aug 21, 2021 By AmandarineThe points are nice and the interface is very easy to use but it’s pretty buggy and gives a lot of error messages and “temporarily unavailable” flags (although to be fair, the unavailable flag might be something the restaurant location did and isn’t a fault of the app). I can’t think of one time I’ve opened this thing to order dinner when I didn’t end up frustrated at having to call it in and wait on hold. Additionally, the full menu is NOT technically available, as there’s never an option to order the Udi’s gluten free pizza (for my son who has Celiac). I used to be able to order it through the website instead of the app but now the website just directs you to the app which doesn’t offer it. I even tried to circumvent it by going into my order history and re-ordering the gluten free pizza but it just gives me an error message. I want to like this because it really is a good looking UI but I think at this point I’ve resigned myself to just having to call in my order every time. more

You will click an option then suddenly the program vanishes, and you have to re-open it. Even their website does this. I spent more than 40 minutes trying to order using both the app and the sight. Nothing. I downloaded installed and ordered with the dominos app in less than 5 minutes. Pizza hut rewards are useless if you can't place an order. more -
Jan 13, 2023 By Patrick FosterThis thing is garbage. It messes up more than it works. Usually, when checking out, but also, when opening it, too. When opening, it just closes out and refuses to open. When checking out, it'll say uh oh, network error, or something went wrong, or, you have to wait 5 minutes before you can place order again. Even though it does go through to the store. You have to call and see if the order went through and how many times it went through if you tried to check out more than once. Apps up to date more -
Bring back the “No sauce” option
Sep 6, 2022 By Dom-AshleiPlease bring back the option of selecting no sauces. So many people eat pizza without sauce due to the individual not liking it or being allergic. It is unfair for those that have to select a certain sauce now on the application. Personally, I have order pizza’s without sauce for years. Using this application was very beneficial to me when selecting the no sauce option. Now, I have to select previous orders due to the company removing that selection. It is an inconvenience when placing my order. Now, I have to follow up by calling the stores each time to notify them I would not like sauce on my pizza. Recently, I had botched orders. I called the store after placing my online re-order and spoke to the call center, which was supposed to relay the message that, “I did not want sauce on my pizza because the application didn’t give me the option.” The call center didn’t relay the message to the store. Once I arrived to pick up my order it was incorrect and had sauce on the pizza. Another time, I order via telephone to avoid the complications from the previous order. However, I wasn’t able to receive reward points because the caller didn’t ask for my phone number. It is very frustrating and a huge inconvenience. Please change the option back to choosing pizza without sauce for those that are allergic or don’t like sauces. Thank you more -

I try to change my address because I travel for work, POP up talking about “contactless delivery blah, blah” telling me that I have to clear my cart to enter a different address (in a different room number in the same hotel) click Ok, nothing happens. Back out of and close the app, repeat of first problem. Completely delete the order, close the app and clear it, same problem. Delete the address completely from my saved addresses, go through the order process all the way to check out, wrong address again, the same one I deleted already from saved addresses. Click change address....REPEAT FROM BEGINNING. It’s a vicious circle of AHHHHHHHH!!!! I just wanted a pizza and now my blood pressure is through the roof AND I’m hungry. Trying to pay $25-30 just to get food to myself which is an exorbitant amount of money in the first place, I can go to a nice place, eat and have a few drinks for that. As a matter of fact, I think that’s what I’ll do! My 18yo daughter works for Pizza Hut while she’s in school and I raised her right and she’s commended constantly, I pay money to your restaurant maybe 2-3 times a month to feed the 5 people in my house and this is how I’m repaid, with an app that makes me want to yank my own eyeballs out. 🤯 Thanks Pizza Hut app developers! 🤬 more -
Difficulty with app.
Nov 3, 2021 By carry out meal loverApp wouldn’t allow ordering a pizza from the value menu. Must order minimum 2 items to order from the value menu. Very slow process. Tried to order 1 pizza from the value menu and an order of breadsticks. Tried 3 times. Each time app read that an error had occurred. Deleted trying to order a pizza and just ordered the breadsticks and a dessert. Success. Went back an tried to add a pizza from the value menu. Same message. An error had occurred. Removed the request for the pizza from the value menu and then was able to order the breadsticks and the dessert. This occurred also, the last time I tried to order a pizza from the value menu. Also, on new version of the app, there is no way, that I have found, to be able to order additional sides of dipping sauces. Used to be able to do this on the old version of the app. Went to the website, to try to place order, since I was having such a difficult time with this app. The website was even more difficult to use. Don’t have the inclination to go through all of the problems encountered when trying to use the website. Trying to order online makes one worn out and weary. Use up an employee’s time by calling the restaurant and placing order over the phone? Or just order from another pizza restaurant? more -

So, that doesn't make any sense why we can't order more than 3 toppings now on anything else or add something to a specialty pizza. Please fix the app! more -
From bad to worse
Jul 2, 2019 By Sean S - ClevelandEach update makes the app prettier, but less functional and introduces more quirks. I have not been able to successfully complete (at least) the last three orders. Prior to that, it authorized my charge twice, but the store never received my order. Tried again just now. I get through the entire order and click Submit. Tells me there is an error and my store isn’t accepting online orders. I need to change me location. Change MY location? Let me buy another house just to make it convenient for you, Pizza Hut. I also get a lot of “Out of Stock” notices when trying to put an order through. At least those appear in the front end of the order as opposed to at the end when I’m trying to complete the purchase. There is potential in this app, but Pizza Hut developers and/or receiving restaurants are making this a waste of time. Am genuinely recommending that you call a local and Izzy parlor and place your order over the phone as opposed to wasting time with this app. Something I’m about to do because Pizza Hut won’t accept an invoice for the time I’ve lost. (PS: the did send me a coupon for a free pizza once when I complained about this app, but the coupon required that I use it in a restaurant. I called corporate and confirmed I had to go to a restaurant to use it. Tells you how much faith they have in their own app!) more -
App is stuck in a loop!
Jan 28, 2022 By tlk79I downloaded the app today to pre-order for a high school team event. I can’t even get past the account setup page because it is stuck in a loop! It won’t accept that I don’t have an extension for my phone number so it jumps back to that field every time I enter my birthdate (just below the extension field) and resets my bday to today. So after figuring out how to bypass that loop (don’t hit “next” on your keyboard, tap into a previous field to get out of the Bday). I make it to the bottom and tap “create account” and it insists my passwords are unacceptable. It wants 6 letters and I’ve tried every version of all lowercase, combo of case sensitive, numbers/symbols and it just denies them all but doesn’t say why. So I go back and try a fake extension for my phone, it then finally accepts my password (I guess??) because the error is now that my phone number is already in use. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE APP!!!!!! I work with computers and tech for a living so I would say I’m fairly capable of installing, understanding and using apps. Good god I give up. Is this in beta????? Needed to place the order before any of the local stores are open and wanted to be able to confirm it or get notifications later so figured this was the way to go, but forget it! Taking our business somewhere else. more -

Constantly crashes, gives "invalid token" error when I try to login, have to click continue as guest, then click login for it to let me login... It took me about 6 attempts to place a simple order because the app would either freeze up, or just crash and boot me out halfway through my order, forcing me to start all over again. Wouldn't let me add an item redeeming my "reward points" either. more -

Edit: app still doesn't work right. It crashes 5 times before I can get my order luckily it saves my progress now. 2nd edit. Rating reduced if I could give you lower, I would. This app is TRASH! It takes 30 minutes to place an order because of all the problems I mentioned previously. FIX. THIS. SHIZZ!!! more
