I’ve been in the skincare game since I hit puberty (been about 7 years), but this is my third year in trying Asian skincare products. I had no idea what to try at first, so I started buying at the Face Shop (very common and popular in the PH), but just this year, I realized the tight feeling I felt from their products was NOT normal 😩😅. Ever since then, I relied on Reddit to find new products, but it can be a bit tiring and frustrating to go thru so many threads, and the reviews can be so diverse and you don’t know what skin type other users have (unless they state it). Now, I’m using Picky, which was recommended by an IG account I follow. Even though I just started, I love the variety of products they have! I was able to find some Filipino products, which I was pleasantly surprised (and impressed ofc) about. I love the simple, organized layout of the app. I also love there’s a forum for users to ask questions and communicate with each other, including recommending and tagging products as an easy way to look them up. And I’m most happy about learning my skin type. I had an inkling of what’s good for me and how strong my skin is, but I had no proper term for it. Picky told me my skin is considered oily/resilient and basically listed all the experiences that I really do have and advised which ingredients I should focus on putting into my skincare routine. That being said, I feel a lot more confident in taking care of my skin after joining Picky. One suggestion for the developers is that I love the Skin Report feature, but it would be nice to see which products are specifically “Worth A Try,” “Holy Grail,” or “Risky,” rather than a bar graph. I don’t like having to go back through each product in my routine and finding out which ones are “Worth A Try” or “Holy Grail.” Overall, I totally love this app!! I have a feeling I’m gonna stick with the Picky community for a long time 💖

I love love love this apps. Now I know my skin type, this app really helps me with choosing a correct skin care product. I don't have to spend much time reading ingredients when I shopping for my skin care product. One thing I want to suggest, I really hopw u guys can create other apps specifically for hair care 💖

I randomly found picky on a reddit post. I believe the developer of the app had just launched and I downloaded it early on while it was still brand new. I was impressed that picky leaned more towards asian skincare, since it’s hard to find reliable information. In the US, I don’t know anyone who uses asian skincare and I was curious to learn more. I’ve utilized the Q&A feature more times than I’d like to admit, but I love learning about skincare and all things skincare! I’m not sure if others notice, but picky has skincare experts and a dermatologist answer questions as well! It’s so cool to see them involved. Im also forever grateful that I’ve been picked as a reviewer for their products. Everyone has the chance to enter their product review giveaways based on a point system which is so unique. I’m still in University so I can’t always splurge on the nicest or most expensive skincare, so to get this opportunity is something I’ll never take for granted. Thanks picky :)

I love that Picky is always improving. I have few suggestions. 1. I would LOVE to see an Essential Oil free attribute. Honestly not having this is the biggest reason I don't utilize the app to it's full potential. 2. The fragrance free attribute is missing a few fragrant ingredients such as flavor and aroma. 3. There are many repeat products and it would be nice to have an option to report them. 4. It would be nice to have the option to filter products by county both for origin and availability

I totally love the concept behind this app but it needs work. The accuracy of ingredients is lacking. I’m finding products with ingredients listed on this app that are not actually in the product. For example, the app told me one product contains an ingredient bad for my skin type- salicylic acid- but when I looked up the ingredient for the product on the brands website, it does not have salicylic acid in it. I also don’t like that it doesn’t allow for combination skin. Your options on this app are either dry or oily, and with the subtypes sensitive or resilient. Finally, I could be mistaken but I thought I saw the same products listed multiple times when searching.

The app is very intuitive. I can't search for products to add to my routine. I can only pick from products that the app recommends as most popular, since the search bar doesn't work.

I'm trying so hard to actually use this app, but it's near impossible. I already signed up. I have an account. It keeps making me remake an account every single time I open the app. I give up trying to use this app.

I have had this app for 8 months and although some of the changes I’m not a fan of.. things are growing on me. I do appreciate a community of skincare lovers that will help with questions. I like that all products have ingredients list so you can see exactly what’s good and bad for your skin type. You can tell picky creators put a lot of work into this app and over all I do like it and do use it everyday for various reasons.

This has been a literal life changer for me. I have super sensitive skin and eczema so not having to read full lists of ingredients and then risk taking a chance on products I'm not sure about is awesome. I also found out that there are a lot of really cheap skincare options that are good for me that I previously thought weren't. My skin feels a lot healthier now because of this app. Only thing that could make it better would be adding makeup to the categories.

I have been looking for an app like this for ages!!!! I’m so glad it’s hereeee! This app is informative and user-friendly. Very easy to use. Provides a lot of information for my ideal skincare products based on my skin type. Also, discovered more brands from this app. It’s very nice!

To say this app is amazing would be an understatement. It's actually 5 star. I just have one suggestion that will make it complete. I like the fact that I can search for and "pick" my favourite products or stuff I'd like to try out. However, when creating my routine on this app and adding products, I have to search for my favorites all over again. There is no option to add my "picks". I'd like to get a reply from you as soon as you can. Thank you for this app!

Great app but i think something's wrong with my notifications tab. I can't see my notifications. The circle just keeps loading. I hope it gets fixed in the next update. I also hope that there would be a feature that allows us to save snapshots of our skin so we could see our skincare progress or something like that

It's a great app to learn and share the knowledge about skincare but one think that really irritates me is that we need to close and open the app in order to refresh it again and again if this issue is solved it would be great!

This app is AMAZING but I have some suggestions! I really like to access my "Picks" but it needs to step to access that. What if the Inbox on bottom nav becomes "Picks"? Then, Inbox can move to upper right. Thanks!

Great for product research, but no ingredient database. App also regularly lags and doesn't load. When trying to post product reviews oftentimes images from camera gallery won't load, or when trying to upload pictures the app goes black and freezes. Good intentions but lots of works still needs to be done.

Okay actually this app really good for me to find out which product I can try and which I can avoid. But somehow I get confused with the recommended product. For example there are 2 same exact product, one will be describe as holy grail but the other one will be describe as worth to try.
