    Peacock TV wants too much information for free version. Suggestion: get requested information after subscriber chooses to purchase premium version. After managing to get the free version, or so I thought, the app would not let me escape the “get premium version” screen. I gave up and returned to the NBCsports app on my iPhone. This app immediately opens up to the “Tokyo 2020” screen.

    Can’t watch at home except for on my tiny phone screen because the idiots who run this thing decided to block me from using an hdmi. Not worth paying for if I can’t even watch it on a proper tv.

    We have tried many apps for tv shows and movies that claim to be “Free” and they all fall flat when it comes to delivering on it. Most only offer free trials, or have some (very little) actual free content. Peacock is so unlike the others, there is so much to watch that is truly free. They even make it easy with a little icon on the ones that require a subscription so you know before you click on it that it’s not included in the free subscription. You can make and personalize extra profiles, like one for each person in your family, or just adult and kids of you wanted to simplify it. It’s easy to use, and easy to understand what’s free. Right now we are using this app on a tv and two cell phones easily. Just log in and everything is there. You can of course upgrade to different packages which I plan to because I love this app and appreciate the way that they actually offer free tv shows and movies for people who can’t afford a subscription or don’t watch enough tv to justify paying for one. I highly recommend this app to everyone, weather you are looking for a free app to watch a ton of shows and movies on, or want a good place to check out if you like it for a future subscription. No cc required either for the basic free subscription! Give it a try it’s well worth it!

    Love the selection of shows and movies to watch but I've made sure that app was updated I cleared the cache and even Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and I still get the message "player error" and "unexpected fatal error CVF_UPElJIS:4:2:2" and it happens quite frequently when I first try to play something and while I'm already in the middle of watching something. It's very inconvenient when I pay for a subscription and I have to deal with this.

    Not too long ago, I was very hard on Peacock because I love NBC. They were the first channel I started following when I got my first television back in 1985. When I found that there was no accessible contact with only description I was very disappointed. I have been working with the app and discovered more and more thing accessible even with my home service Cox Cable where I can only get audio description on primetime shows when they’re aired but not with replays through their app or their TV app. That’s or their app or their phone app. But Peacock is growing Malaysian bounds and I am finding is born works as well. Are you find unfortunately that there’s not a setting that I have found where I can leave audio description on. Every time a new episode of a show or series I’m watching comes on I must go into the audio settings and shoes sound English with a deer stands for audio description. It would be great if there was an option to leave I need a scription on all the time for those of us who use it. This is a great app with lots of different shows and I am truly impressed this is the Peacock I expected keep up the great work.     0 stars for the Samsung app but 5 stars for content. Yes I have the latest update, no it doesn't stop it from not working with Chromecast and flat out app crashing constantly. I can't tell you how many times I've stopped watching because even HBO has a better record. And their app won't even let you view full show seasons at a time! Can literally nobody make a simple Netflix type interface/app!?!? Stop the auto video start until you clean up the app, it made it worse..Walk before you run/crash.

    Let me start by saying you guys have a fantastic library of shows and movies to choose from, and that was the main reason I started a subscription. However, please try to work on fixing all of the bugs and just chaotic disasters that are your streaming service… I’ve been patient and I’ve given you time because I knew you were new to the streaming scene, but myself and many other people have paid you guys money every month since you started for a while now…so please…FIX THE BUGS! About the only device this app works fine on is my phone, ANYTHING else and it’s unwatchable. If I started a movie on my phone earlier in the day and then decide to watch later on my PS4 your app has noooooo idea how to pick up where I left off. And you can forget about fast forwarding to where I was…the app will nearly freeze my entire system until I force close it. I never write reviews, I always read them and think people are obnoxious and have too much time on their hands, but maybe I finally understand that your voice needs to be heard sometimes. I love your app! Just make it less buggy! I’ll keep funding y’all in the meantime, but help a fan a veteran fan of The Office out!

    I absolutely LOVE the content on Peacock. It’s very quickly becoming my favorite streaming application. That being said, the functionality of the app can be terrible. I have tried this app on MANY different data sources: Wi-Fi, Verizon Wireless, Visible Wireless, Straight Talk Wireless, Personal Hotspot, etc., & it takes FOREVER to load no matter what source I use. When opening the app, it’ll sometimes say that “There was a problem loading the Peacock app. Try again” or I’ll go to watch a video & it will take a very long time to load or it’ll just boot me back out to the main menu altogether, which is just frustrating. When I pause a movie/show & my screen goes dark or to sleep, it’s very difficult to restart video. When I open my phone/tablet to restart video, it’ll have the Play, Rewind, Fast Forward buttons on screen with a black background, then it has to load until it shows a paused picture of the video I’m watching & displays the Play button again, & I then have to press Play again. However, if my screen goes dark again before it’s finished loading, I have to do it all over again, with the black background on the screen. I would LOVE to see an update to fix the double “Play” issue, but also the buffering issue. I still recommend this app to everyone I know though! Thank so much!

    I definitely love love this app and it’s amazing how all these good movies are here and it’s all completely free but there is one thing and only one thing that keeps on bothering me. No it is not the ads, I understand that those are necessary to gain some money but whenever an ad does come up once it is done the movie/show you are watching skips forward a bit and if you try to rewind it to see the part you missed, the app makes you watch the same ads again for a second time. This is quite annoying because there are some parts of the movie that get skipped but some times that part is important but you are not able to see it. I am not asking for you to take away the ads or change the thing that makes you watch ads for a second time, but all I am asking for is that you fix it so that after you watching an ad it goes back a couple seconds so that you don’t miss/forget anything or at least make it so that it takes you back to the second it stopped. Overall this app is amazing and I am loving it. 10 out of 10.

    I am a day 1 user, waited months for this app at first never had any issues in my Apple TV or iPhone but now it’s constant errors. Most recent is just solid black screen with an outline of the channel schedule instead of puss in boots error screen occasionally. They also took away the office channel quietly a couple of days ago. Changed the reality tv “in it to win it” channel (that had huge variety in programming) into deal or no deal for over a week non stop 24/7. Just rename the channel already after nearly 250 episodes straight it’s officially the deal or no deal channel! I assumed okay maybe after they play each episode in the series I will get to see something new, sadly they just stared over from episode 1 again. Same episodes of kitchen nightmares (season 1) have been playing non stop for 5 days when it’s KN evening time block and the profit season 1. This didn’t used to be the case! There would be a mix of several seasons. I was thinking about subscribing but these are pretty major and sudden changes that make no sense. They were also what I used the app for 99% of the time. Went from being my #1 app to deleting and resubscribing to CBS all access who instead of taking away content added over 200 season of different shows last week.

They even make it easy with a little icon on the ones that require a subscription so you know before you click on it that it’s not included in the free subscription. You can make and personalize extra profiles, like one for each person in your family, or just adult and kids of you wanted to simplify it. It’s easy to use, and easy to understand what’s free. Right now we are using this app on a tv and two cell phones easily. Just log in and everything is there. You can of course upgrade to different packages which I plan to because I love this app and appreciate the way that they actually offer free tv shows and movies for people who can’t afford a subscription or don’t watch enough tv to justify paying for one. I highly recommend this app to everyone, weather you are looking for a free app to watch a ton of shows and movies on, or want a good place to check out if you like it for a future subscription. No cc required either for the basic free subscription! Give it a try it’s well worth it!

When I found that there was no accessible contact with only description I was very disappointed. I have been working with the app and discovered more and more thing accessible even with my home service Cox Cable where I can only get audio description on primetime shows when they’re aired but not with replays through their app or their TV app. That’s or their app or their phone app. But Peacock is growing Malaysian bounds and I am finding is born works as well. Are you find unfortunately that there’s not a setting that I have found where I can leave audio description on. Every time a new episode of a show or series I’m watching comes on I must go into the audio settings and shoes sound English with a deer stands for audio description. It would be great if there was an option to leave I need a scription on all the time for those of us who use it. This is a great app with lots of different shows and I am truly impressed this is the Peacock I expected keep up the great work.     Let me start by saying you guys have a fantastic library of shows and movies to choose from, and that was the main reason I started a subscription.     Content is improving which is great. The only bad thing you don't know what movies you have watched it does not keep track what episodes or series you have watched it does not keep track. But it's still lags bad opening pausing and closing the app. And I have my television running direct so it's not the internet. Soon as Peacock makes more very much needed improvements I think it would be great app as is. Y does options only give 2? options to pick from? Can't say yes.

    Add Picture in Picture, audio descriptions & autoplay cancel. I really want to love this app. I even paid for the commercial free version, because I love NBC so much. The content is great. Unfortunately, this app is lacking in several accessibility features. Additionally, it needs different user profiles, so that I can have a watchlist that I don’t share with the rest of my family. It will not allow me to do picture in picture, which means my shows are interrupted each time I open a message to reply. I am very disappointed that there are not audio descriptions available for most shows. People with low vision or blindness, this limits access to some great television. Finally, I have tried to work out how to cancel autoplay as a default, but I can’t seem to do it. If I do not physically tap the screen before an episode ends, the app will automatically play the next episode. This is especially frustrating if I fall asleep watching a show, only to wake up with a whole season over. Again, I really do want to love this app. Every other streaming service I have allows for picture in picture, as well as autoplay camel, and most have audio descriptions. I hope peacock gets these features soon!

    Everything was good. Until it wasnt. I have the premium plan and cant watch the basic stuff on there. Yet getting billed monthly for something i cant even watch!!! I tried switching back to peacock free and its mission impossible!! Its like they want me trapped into the subscription!! So frustrating!! Pls fix this issue and stop taking my money!!

    If I could avoid using peacock, I would, but there are too many good shows. However, it is still a painfully bad experience. On iOS/iPadOS there is no Picture in Picture support, which is very annoying, and sometimes the audio breaks and I have to exit the thing I’m watching and reopen it. That is annoying, but not too bad. tvOS is the real problem. It works terribly with the new Siri remote. Normally you can go back or forward ten seconds, but with the new Siri remote there is no way to do that. Clicking the forward and back buttons will bring up an orange symbol to go back or forward 10 seconds, but it won’t do anything, and it won’t go away until you tap somewhere else on the remote. If I had this problem in any other app, it would be slightly annoying, but I would just use the normal method of swiping (or rotating with the new circle gesture on the new Siri remote) to get where I need to go. Not only does peacock not support the new circle gesture, the swiping is terrible. This is probably the biggest problem with peacock. Tiny finger movements that would get me forward or back 4 seconds or so in the Apple TV app do nothing. But as soon as I start swiping my finger enough for peacock to react, it moves too fast for me to get even close to what I want. I can end up full minutes away from my target. This has been a problem with the old and new Siri remote, and it needs to be fixed.

    Great movies, shut down for no reason. On both TV I have every TV app & only have problem with this app. The best movies 0nly play in Spanish. I don't speak, or understand it. No option to switch to English. Plays fine on my phone, but circlebacks a lot. Only on big screen does it go into Spanish mode, not on my phone. Android user.

    App quits after a few minutes while streaming through chromecast. Use to work well but just terrible since the update. Developer reached out and I emailed my issues to them expecting a decent reply. All I got was a generic form letter telling me to reset my router, modem and chromecast and to uninstall/ reinstall the app. All of which did nothing.

    So they bought out WWE Network, they segment the shows and present it like garbage in comparison to the previous app and then I try to watch a show, whilst containing as much rage as possible only to find disappointment. THE APP DOESNT SUPPORT HDMI PORTING! How can you have “TV” in your name AND NOT SUPPORT A WELL KNOWN AND QUITE COMMON TV STREAMING DEVICE?! “Peacock IPhone/Android” should be the name, otherwise it’s just false advertisement - if I can’t stream to my TV, this is the biggest digital wooden nickel situation I’ve ever found myself in. This is horrible. If you’re going to buy out the main streaming service to something that has a full blown culture behind the profession, then do your best to support it or otherwise give it to someone who has the gaul or even the slightest intention to do so. I’ll tell you one thing, my family can’t watch a cell phone together and it’s unreasonable to expect something so asinine. For such a selection of material to watch, I honestly can’t believe in 2021 this is an issue. Peacock “TV” - false. This is frankly pathetic and I won’t be renewing my subscription, hopefully someone who cares will do some justice to this completely ridiculous fumbling and vague handling of the term “TV” - television, as in NOT A PHONE. At best they’ll fix it because people had to complain, at worst WWE will have to stay with them and they’ll find some other way to be completely dysfunctional with an appropriate requisite. Dense.

    How absolutely craptastic is it that you cannot watch a live stream from the beginning, and then that an hour and a half after the event, you still can't replay it. And then on each device, the live stream starts at a different place and happens to ruin the ending of the event. I will never use this service again and I hope it withers away into a distant, unpleasant memory of an unsuccessful streaming service.

    I love The Office. And Parks & Rec. But there are just way too many steaming services now and paying for all of them to watch one or two shows is just ridiculous. So I’m not paying for this one. The free content on Peacock is abundant, but it’s mostly shows that no one wants to watch or that you can watch for free on the Hallmark Channel or wherever they now show Murder She Wrote. Not exactly cutting edge programming. If this was an excellent app, I might have been interested. But it is clunky to operate, not very intuitive, and slow. So. Slow. It can take 5+ minutes to search for, find, and start playing a show. All while I’m watching those little rainbow dots go in circles. And the app freezes and crashes a lot. Not usually during a show, but definitely a lot while navigating the app and searching. We have super fast internet (more than a gig in speed to our house) and have no problem getting Netflix or Prime to load fast. Even CBS All Access is faster. Personally, I hope we will soon see consolidation in this space so we can see our favorite shows without having to subscribe to a dozen different services. And as those apps compete against each other, Peacock will not be a winner. NBC, you gave it a try. Now I hope you will license your best shows to Netflix and let us watch while you earn royalties for doing nothing.

    App is always telling me to check the internet connection and try again. Internet connection is just fine...175mbs should be good for streaming as it is with other stuff. I'd like to upgrade for more shows options, but I think it would be a waste I'd this is the way it works. After uninstalling and reinstalling the same issue exists

And you can forget about fast forwarding to where I was…the app will nearly freeze my entire system until I force close it. I never write reviews, I always read them and think people are obnoxious and have too much time on their hands, but maybe I finally understand that your voice needs to be heard sometimes. I love your app! Just make it less buggy! I’ll keep funding y’all in the meantime, but help a fan a veteran fan of The Office out!

    I definitely love love this app and it’s amazing how all these good movies are here and it’s all completely free but there is one thing and only one thing that keeps on bothering me. No it is not the ads, I understand that those are necessary to gain some money but whenever an ad does come up once it is done the movie/show you are watching skips forward a bit and if you try to rewind it to see the part you missed, the app makes you watch the same ads again for a second time. This is quite annoying because there are some parts of the movie that get skipped but some times that part is important but you are not able to see it. I am not asking for you to take away the ads or change the thing that makes you watch ads for a second time, but all I am asking for is that you fix it so that after you watching an ad it goes back a couple seconds so that you don’t miss/forget anything or at least make it so that it takes you back to the second it stopped. Overall this app is amazing and I am loving it. 10 out of 10.

    I love this app — I watch something from it every day. There are an astounding number of shows available at no recurring cost to me (I wait through 45 seconds of ads during a show’s normal commercial break). Other streaming services (cough cough Disney, CBS, etc. cough cough) have nearly everything trapped behind a paywall, and honestly I can’t afford 6 dollars here, 5 dollars there, every single month, to four or five streaming services. Frankly I do not want to sign up not only due to budget but from principle: when the writing hit the wall with companies pulling shows from Netflix to move them to their own premium streaming services, I said then that I wouldn’t sign up for multiple premium services because I saw it as the companies’ greed. And I don’t have to with Peacock, because they make so much available while being so reasonable with their consumers. So because of their model, this is one streaming service where I actually would sign up for premium just to support them.

    Surprised by some of the titles and shows I have found on here that I can no longer find on other streaming services I have paid over 3x a month for! Cheapest subscription has ads, and initially had them playing periodically throughout the shows as you watch which was like having cable all over again(ads interrupting the climax of a movie ruins the experience) and I planned on ending my subscription after one month. HOWEVER, just recently(i suppose most recent update) they have begun to show all of the ads immediately at the beginning of the show and then allowing you to watch the rest ad free. I love this new implementation, allows me to pay for the cheaper subscription and still enjoy full movies after a single 180 sec ad break in the beginning. I will definitely be continuing my subscription moving forward.

    Once I was sitting on my couch and Aisa this app on the App Store so I bought it of course I had to sign in it took me so long I could not find a password and it kept saying this you Artie use this password something went wrong try again later and I can’t do it so I finally got in to the app and I’ll look for Harry Potter because it’s my favorite movie and I found it so watch it 1000 times and then I decided to go to temple run and I came back to the app two minutes later and it was gone of my favorite movies we’re gone so I delete the app and signed in again I looked it was gone so it was not good at all so I’m writing this review and just so you know Peacock is my least favorite app and it is horrible horrible horrible horrible and half of it and half of the moviesLike they make you get premium for it and it’s a horrible app!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It’s ridiculous that I’ve had the app on my phone for sometime and now when I pull it up it states to update new version. Takes me to my App Store and try to update its states the app needs IOS 13, my phone does not support IOS 13. I have an iPhone 6, which does not IOS update available. It’s so frustrating when you’ve been able to get the app and now it’s just not available for anyone with a phone that doesn’t support iPhone 6. Not everybody can afford a newer phone!! I biggest frustration is I pay the upgrade for peacock!! Its extremely difficult to understand why you guys changed it, no doubt you knew that would limit who could download the peacock app!! I guess I have to cancel my subscription!!! Thanks a lot!!!!

    My streaming has been pretty terrible with this app for a couple of different reasons at different times. Things will start good, I’m able to cast, the show or movie starts playing, but within about 10 minutes or so, the sound and the subtitles are out of sync with what’s going on. It’s truly annoying because I have hearing issues anyway and I sometimes try to read lips and I rely on things syncing up. The second issue is that some programs just will not cast with my Chromecast device. It say that it’s casting, but then reverts to my I-phone or I-pad. I really like the large variety of programs and channels that you offer. I truly hope that you are able to get these glitches worked out in the very near future.

    Really great app, definitely worth the subscription. The only problem I have with it is that when you have shows in your “recently watched” section that you haven’t watched in like months, it gets taken out (which is completely understandable) because at that point you haven’t “recently watched” it so I understand why it’s taken out of the category, but what I don’t get is why you lose all progress for your watched episodes so it’s like you never watch the show at all (and I watch a few shows so I kinda stop watching another show for a while). So I don’t know where I left off at. But this only happens if you wait too long to watch the show and it gets taken out of the “recently watched” category

    I wanna say that they have an amazing selection on this app for tv shows and movies. However, I got the app for free with Xfinity wifi and they said I would have Peacock PREMIUM. When I think of premium I think “no ads.” Well that is NOT the case. I try to watch tv shows and an ad plays every few minutes. It plays about every 5 minutes during the show. I get a 60 second ad about 3-4 times every single 24 minutes episode. And it does not stop there. I also get 15 and 30 second ads on top of the minute long ones. So over all I’m watching roughly 10 minutes of ads every single episode??? I thought I was suppose to have premium… this is not premium. I enjoy the app, but the ads are just ridiculous. If anything, play a minute and a half ad BEFORE the episode so customers can watch a single episode in peace without interruption every 3 seconds. I gave four stars because I know how hard it is to allow such a selection without ads. But come on… I watch about 5 minutes of a show and get hit with 5 minutes of ads. It makes me not want to use the app.

    Love this app. I pay for the ad free and it is absolutely worth it. I use it on my Roku and have no problems. The "continue watching" is not always accurate which is why 4 stars and when in fast forward the thumbnail doesn't always show. My internet isn't the best but I have no loading issues. It loads each episode and that's it. I definitely recommend this service.

    Go team 🌈Peacock 🦚 for providing AWESOME content — all my favorite Bravo shows, every season, even every season of Bethany’s spin offs! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I also love the variety of Indie movies with great celebs and directors! 🥳🥳🥳 Now — the problem with playback. When I watch Peacock on my TV through my Xfinity connected set top/DVR cable box, everything works fine. No problems with the time tracking, (ie if you are 30 mins into watching the program, it accurately displays the progress). BUT — while watching the same show or movie on my iPad or iPhone (not necessarily picking up where I left off on one device and watching it on another — that works great and is an awesome feature!), I can be 30 mins into a show, yet the progress bar is stuck on the time from the last commercial break. Then if I try to rewind, it makes me watch the entire commercial break AGAIN. It has happened where I wind up being forced to watch more commercial time than actual content time in one 30 minute show!! Also, sometimes I will get all the way to the end of a program, and it won’t auto start the next episode. Any progression feature (rewind, FF, etc) tapped will trigger ANOTHER commercial break!! Lastly, can’t you remove commercials altogether for premium subscribers? Hopefully this progression issue gets fixed QUICKLY 🙏🏼🙏🏼! It’s REALLY ANNOYING to have to sit through so many commercials every time you rewind!!

    So Peacock is an interesting service. I love the shows that you get for the premium and free plans. The Peacock Originals are Great. This service also recently added 24/7 live local news in 6 markets (NY, LA, Chicago, Boston, Miami, Philly (missing CT and 4 others however). There are many cool features, such as getting SNL live when it airs normally on Broadcast NBC. Similarly, you also get the sports that air on NBC live. While the overall design of the service is very well done, one suggestion would be putting the live NBC events in the NBC hub, similar to how the Telemundo Hub was done (sports, live events). This makes it easier to find broadcasts like the upcoming SNL on Saturdays, or sports like Premiere League. My idea was to have it kind of sorted by Day so you can find the show and sport easier, but I didn’t know how hard that would be. Otherwise, great service, I love the News and the Shows and Content on here. Great value for the price!

    I subscribed to peacock for FIS ski racing. I enjoy all of the content but have a couple small issues. The most recent race is placed at the very end so if I want to watch a replay of the Jan 8 GS race I have to start in October and go through all the races to get to it. Kind of annoying on the Apple TV. Coverage of FIS racing is split up into first and second runs which is understandable but this morning I watched part of the replay of a first run and didn’t get to the live coverage of the second run in time before it concluded. No way to watch the second run until they put up the replay, which seems like it’s taking a really long time. In the meantime they posted short “highlight” reels with info that spoils the results of the race right in the headline. Overall I’m glad that these events are available to watch at all in the US and hope that Peacock continues or even expands its coverage.

    I am so far enjoying the app, love that it’s free with commercials but you can pay to remove them. The app itself needs little quality of life improvements however 1. When you download multiple episodes of a show you cannot auto play the next episode even if it’s also downloaded, you have to back out and reselect the next one 2. Your continue watching page is not on the opening page of the app, you have to select browse just to see what you’ve already been watching, I feel my recent viewing should be the first thing I see so I can quickly resume my shows 3. I don’t quite understand why some episode downloads have such brief time limits, it isn’t the biggest issue but I downloaded some P&R and it started a two day countdown so I have to hurry and watch them even though I’m paying to be able to watch them offline

    I enjoy the shows I can watch on my iPhone. Great selection, and plays back anything without a hitch. However ... ... I also like to play videos on my much larger TV. Now we have a problem. My iPhone 11 Pro Max running the latest version of iOS refuses to play any videos from this app on any TV. It will still play on my iPhone, while the TV shows a freeze frame of where I started the video. The audio comes from the TV as it should, though. When I try to play a video on my TV from an older device, it doesn’t play on either screen, though I can still hear audio from the TV. It still plays on my device properly while not plugged into a TV. I have several other streaming video apps, and all work the way they’re supposed to. Peacock is the only one that doesn't. I was hoping the latest update would fix this problem. It didn’t.

    I’ve been using Peacock for over a year without any problems. I upgraded to the newest release and get a “something went wrong message”. Uninstalled and reinstalled and same thing happens plus now I get a prompt to upgrade to premium. I’m already a premium subscriber. This release was supposed to fix bugs but it is one big bug. Update: After receiving an email from Peacock regarding a new device trying to access the service after my reinstall I looked at the location in the email. The location was not correct and I realized I had my VPN turned on. I of course leave the VPN on 24x7. I turned it off and Peacock worked fine. They need to allow the service to work with VPN especially if you are paying for the service. Updated service to 4 stars. We don’t have cable so have been enjoying the Olympics with it.

    I will do anything to watch my beloved office. Upon paying for peacock o found they had superfan episodes. If you’re a superfan it’s a must to get peacock and watch them. So many little cut scenes in the normal show that didn’t make sense will now! I have one problem with peacock but it’s a big problem.. So if you binge watch seasons you go episode to episode. Netflix has this down to a science, I could fall asleep to my favorite show. With Peacock that’s not happening no matter what you do. Once you’ve watched an episode once it will PERMANENTLY stay put at the last 2-3 seconds. So unless you have ninja reflexes on each episode you are forced to go through this convoluted and very frustrating process EACH episode just to get it to play from the beginning. It’s made me dislike the app entirely but I still use it cause it’s the only way to watch The Office

    I am recently getting into peacock mainly for two exclusive shows (The Office and Parks and Recs) and have been pleasantly surprised. Unlike most streaming services they keep the ads to a minimum per episode which is very nice. I also looked into their different plans and they seem very affordable, I am actually interested in upgrading because it’s only 5 dollars a month. I have also been surprised at the amount of shows and originals that peacock provides. There is one draw back though, for certain shows like parks and recreations there is a limit on the amount of episodes you can watch before you have to upgrade the streaming service, that is pretty annoying but since it is so affordable I believe it’s worth it. Overall peacock has been a pleasant experience with very few cons.

    Love the selection of shows and movies to watch but I've made sure that app was updated I cleared the cache and even Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and I still get the message "player error" and "unexpected fatal error CVF_UPElJIS:4:2:2" and it happens quite frequently when I first try to play something and while I'm already in the middle of watching something. It's very inconvenient when I pay for a subscription and I have to deal with this.

I can't tell you how many times I've stopped watching because even HBO has a better record. And their app won't even let you view full show seasons at a time! Can literally nobody make a simple Netflix type interface/app!?!? Stop the auto video start until you clean up the app, it made it worse..Walk before you run/crash.

    I absolutely LOVE the content on Peacock. It’s very quickly becoming my favorite streaming application. That being said, the functionality of the app can be terrible. I have tried this app on MANY different data sources: Wi-Fi, Verizon Wireless, Visible Wireless, Straight Talk Wireless, Personal Hotspot, etc., & it takes FOREVER to load no matter what source I use. When opening the app, it’ll sometimes say that “There was a problem loading the Peacock app. Try again” or I’ll go to watch a video & it will take a very long time to load or it’ll just boot me back out to the main menu altogether, which is just frustrating. When I pause a movie/show & my screen goes dark or to sleep, it’s very difficult to restart video. When I open my phone/tablet to restart video, it’ll have the Play, Rewind, Fast Forward buttons on screen with a black background, then it has to load until it shows a paused picture of the video I’m watching & displays the Play button again, & I then have to press Play again. However, if my screen goes dark again before it’s finished loading, I have to do it all over again, with the black background on the screen. I would LOVE to see an update to fix the double “Play” issue, but also the buffering issue. I still recommend this app to everyone I know though! Thank so much!

    I am a day 1 user, waited months for this app at first never had any issues in my Apple TV or iPhone but now it’s constant errors. Most recent is just solid black screen with an outline of the channel schedule instead of puss in boots error screen occasionally. They also took away the office channel quietly a couple of days ago. Changed the reality tv “in it to win it” channel (that had huge variety in programming) into deal or no deal for over a week non stop 24/7. Just rename the channel already after nearly 250 episodes straight it’s officially the deal or no deal channel! I assumed okay maybe after they play each episode in the series I will get to see something new, sadly they just stared over from episode 1 again. Same episodes of kitchen nightmares (season 1) have been playing non stop for 5 days when it’s KN evening time block and the profit season 1. This didn’t used to be the case! There would be a mix of several seasons. I was thinking about subscribing but these are pretty major and sudden changes that make no sense. They were also what I used the app for 99% of the time. Went from being my #1 app to deleting and resubscribing to CBS all access who instead of taking away content added over 200 season of different shows last week.

    Content is improving which is great. The only bad thing you don't know what movies you have watched it does not keep track what episodes or series you have watched it does not keep track. But it's still lags bad opening pausing and closing the app. And I have my television running direct so it's not the internet. Soon as Peacock makes more very much needed improvements I think it would be great app as is. Y does options only give 2? options to pick from? Can't say yes.

    Add Picture in Picture, audio descriptions & autoplay cancel. I really want to love this app. I even paid for the commercial free version, because I love NBC so much. The content is great. Unfortunately, this app is lacking in several accessibility features. Additionally, it needs different user profiles, so that I can have a watchlist that I don’t share with the rest of my family. It will not allow me to do picture in picture, which means my shows are interrupted each time I open a message to reply. I am very disappointed that there are not audio descriptions available for most shows. People with low vision or blindness, this limits access to some great television. Finally, I have tried to work out how to cancel autoplay as a default, but I can’t seem to do it. If I do not physically tap the screen before an episode ends, the app will automatically play the next episode. This is especially frustrating if I fall asleep watching a show, only to wake up with a whole season over. Again, I really do want to love this app. Every other streaming service I have allows for picture in picture, as well as autoplay camel, and most have audio descriptions. I hope peacock gets these features soon!

    I pay for the premium plus (9.99) service but nothing will play on demand in the mobile app. I have tried unistalling and reinstalling app,clearing the case and yes I do have sufficient or high speed internet. If this is fixed I will up to 5 stars. It's not worth the money to just be able to watch mostly news channels and a very few random channels that do not say on demand. Please fix.

However, I have spent all day trying to download the app on my phone and suddenly it can't be installed. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with my storage space either.     Peacock has some mediocre shows and movies on its platform with only a few hits. Now that Comcast has acquired the Office, Parks and Rec, and few others, it makes the app worth downloading. Some of the downsides are that when opening the app, it always begins with the trending section which isn’t tailored to the users likes and dislikes. It displays only what Comcast deems to be important and can be biased towards mainstream media. Also, when watching and finishing an episode of a tv show, it doesn’t automatically play the next episode of the show you are currently watching. So you have to re-enter the app, which opens with the trending screen again, therefore you accidentally click what’s first on the trending page and lose your place in the show. It’s a tad irritating. It would be nice if Comcast would just allow you to continue to watch episodes of the same show and only stop it after an amount of time, similar to Netflix. If they fixed these minor bugs, I think the app would be a lot more streamlined and better quality.

    The show selection is great! I haven’t had any issues streaming. Here are the things I think need to be updated: 1.) add a skip intro button PLEASE. It’s not terrible but just annoying to have to watch the intro every single episode (especially while binging). 2.) While using a Chromecast, the app automatically disconnects after one episode. If I’m trying to watch the office, I have to go into my phone, reconnect to the chromecast, find the new episode and re-cast it. Super annoying. 3.) CLOSED CAPTIONING/SUBTITLES: They shut off after almost every episode. This is extremely inconvenient for deaf people like my mom to have to realize “hey they’re talking and i don’t know what they’re saying” to see the subtitles shut off. Please make it so once you turn subtitles on, they stay on for all content on the app until you turn it off! EXTREMELY inconvenient. 4.) I like that it starts pulling up results as you’re searching but it would be more helpful to have search suggestions as you’re typing in case your result isn’t showing up!

    If I could avoid using peacock, I would, but there are too many good shows. However, it is still a painfully bad experience. On iOS/iPadOS there is no Picture in Picture support, which is very annoying, and sometimes the audio breaks and I have to exit the thing I’m watching and reopen it. That is annoying, but not too bad. tvOS is the real problem. It works terribly with the new Siri remote. Normally you can go back or forward ten seconds, but with the new Siri remote there is no way to do that. Clicking the forward and back buttons will bring up an orange symbol to go back or forward 10 seconds, but it won’t do anything, and it won’t go away until you tap somewhere else on the remote. If I had this problem in any other app, it would be slightly annoying, but I would just use the normal method of swiping (or rotating with the new circle gesture on the new Siri remote) to get where I need to go. Not only does peacock not support the new circle gesture, the swiping is terrible. This is probably the biggest problem with peacock. Tiny finger movements that would get me forward or back 4 seconds or so in the Apple TV app do nothing. But as soon as I start swiping my finger enough for peacock to react, it moves too fast for me to get even close to what I want. I can end up full minutes away from my target. This has been a problem with the old and new Siri remote, and it needs to be fixed.

    This app sucks for many reasons. The main reason is when you access it from Android TV's main screen, it flakes out and freezes and you have to go to the home screen and then go back. From usability standpoint, why do I have to press buttons two or three times just to be able to play or pause and why is it that I can't select play from beginning once the video started.     I had been using Peacock for a while now to watch some older content. After seeing some advertisements about older shows such as Twilight and fifty shades of gray and Harry Potter, i decided to purchase a subscription. I was very thrilled to rewatch all these for many platforms don't have all these together. I started Twilight yesterday and continued watching in the next day for there is 4-5 different movies to the series. But today in the middle of watching it I peacock kicked me off the platform and rebooted itself and I could no longer FIND twilight in the search bar or my most recently watched. It literally disappeared. I checked it on the tv because I have a roku connection to the same peacock account as well and I could no longer find it. I am very disappointed and annoyed due to the fact that I just signed up 3 days ago for the peacock subscription and now these shows that were advertised are magically gone. Before signing up the subscription indicated that I will have access to all content with ads since I only paid for the 4.99 subscription. What is going on? Why did twilight disappear from your content and also there's absolutely no way I could get a hold of customer service for you only provide a robot that's doesn't lead you anywhere.

    I am late getting the app. But after having it for about 4 months I am surprised by how poorly the app is designed and works. Take searches, very slow, and doesn’t automatically load suggestions as you type. Also, It is the slowest app on my iPad to open and load, I almost think it crashed with just those 6 dots floating. But then the app loads, only to take a long time to switch to another screen, like when browse is selected or opening settings. One would expect a better user interface and faster app coming out of an entertainment/tech company. Feels like the app isn’t a priority. Would be nice if it allowed for multiple “users” like spouse and kids as we like different shows. Lastly, they should re-think commercials. I’m not against commercials and like them if it means affordable subscriptions. But the commercials are too long. It’s not the good old days of network tv. They should redesign how commercials work for the modern age. Right now I just look at my phone during commercials. So, my conclusion is that it’s an app to go to when there is a show you want to watch, ie: Yellowstone, but not an app you GO TO to find something to watch. Good luck. You’re behind the eight ball and other apps are doing this a lot better.

    Watching Yellowstone Season 3 Episode 5 and all of a sudden it switches to Spanish Audio. I attempt to go into closed captioned and make sure English subtitles and English Audio is selected and there is no English available. I go to the previous episode and see English audio is available. I go to the episode 6 and no English audio is available. I go out of Yellowstone and select BelAir and it plays English. I select another title and it plays English. I unplug the TV for 60 seconds, I then unplug the modem and routers, I delete the Peacock app and reinstall. I attempt to contact Peacock customer service and there are more than 99+ customers in front of me and then so get kicked out of que telling me no agents are available. I saved the transcript. I took screenshots of the issues. I have been troubleshooting for over an hour and a half. It does the same thing on all devices. I have a headache and I need to go trudge through the snow and cold now to take care of our own animals. Not a fan Peacock right now. Fix your glitch and when this stuff happens, you should be sending emails to your customers letting them know what’s going on and posting it on your website.     When I click on an episode I've already watched it goes to the end instead of starting over. Then once the episode ends I have to select the next episode instead of automatically showing the next. Get annoying. Other steaming apps don't have this issue as offen or as consistently as peacock. Love the app, just need to be improved. Thanks!!

    Dear peacock first of all it’s very difficult to find help using the app I looked for a contact customer service or anything of that nature of contact us button and it seems to be very hard to access from the app at least I couldn’t find it Secondly I pay extra to not have to watch commercials bad as I’m sitting here watching my program I keep getting interrupted every few minutes by a commercial how does this happen I am paying not to have to watch commercials maybe you need to look into this I figure writing a review is the only way to get your attention and that probably won’t work either- I am still having shows with commercials and I pay for ad free - cannot figure out how to contact help - one show was called All of Me - the other was called Eat Up - Girl on fire was another - I have been paying for ad free shows since opening my peacock account and I have always had commercials this is not right - I cannot figure out how to contact help and cannot get help with this - the help category on the app only helps with parental controls - I need help - I should get what I pay for - can a developer contact me thru my sign up email please?

    I got this app to watch Rich Eisen. His show is live, but I am not available to watch until about 1/2 way through. I prefer to watch beginning to end. The live broadcast ends at 1pm, but it is not made available to replay until late evening or in some cases the next day. When I 1st began using the app I had frustrations a plenty and hoped the bugs would get worked out before The Rich Eisen Show stopped broadcasting on TV. I don’t see that anything has improved from when I 1st began using the app until now. This app seems to have a wonderful catalog of movies, sports, old tv shows and The problem is, you get about 7-10 minutes in and the buffering begins. I am then informed that I am not connected to the internet. This is while I see all WiFi bars light up. I am then informed I should try a premium membership. Each time I open the app I see so many programs to watch, but it ends in heartbreak. This streaming service looks great, but it doesn’t work. And don’t tell me it’s free and the suggest I purchase premium version.

    Peacock TV wants too much information for free version. Suggestion: get requested information after subscriber chooses to purchase premium version. After managing to get the free version, or so I thought, the app would not let me escape the “get premium version” screen. I gave up and returned to the NBCsports app on my iPhone. This app immediately opens up to the “Tokyo 2020” screen.

    Everything was good. Until it wasnt. I have the premium plan and cant watch the basic stuff on there. Yet getting billed monthly for something i cant even watch!!! I tried switching back to peacock free and its mission impossible!! Its like they want me trapped into the subscription!! So frustrating!! Pls fix this issue and stop taking my money!!

    App quits after a few minutes while streaming through chromecast. Use to work well but just terrible since the update. Developer reached out and I emailed my issues to them expecting a decent reply. All I got was a generic form letter telling me to reset my router, modem and chromecast and to uninstall/ reinstall the app. All of which did nothing.

    So they bought out WWE Network, they segment the shows and present it like garbage in comparison to the previous app and then I try to watch a show, whilst containing as much rage as possible only to find disappointment. THE APP DOESNT SUPPORT HDMI PORTING! How can you have “TV” in your name AND NOT SUPPORT A WELL KNOWN AND QUITE COMMON TV STREAMING DEVICE?! “Peacock IPhone/Android” should be the name, otherwise it’s just false advertisement - if I can’t stream to my TV, this is the biggest digital wooden nickel situation I’ve ever found myself in. This is horrible. If you’re going to buy out the main streaming service to something that has a full blown culture behind the profession, then do your best to support it or otherwise give it to someone who has the gaul or even the slightest intention to do so. I’ll tell you one thing, my family can’t watch a cell phone together and it’s unreasonable to expect something so asinine. For such a selection of material to watch, I honestly can’t believe in 2021 this is an issue. Peacock “TV” - false. This is frankly pathetic and I won’t be renewing my subscription, hopefully someone who cares will do some justice to this completely ridiculous fumbling and vague handling of the term “TV” - television, as in NOT A PHONE. At best they’ll fix it because people had to complain, at worst WWE will have to stay with them and they’ll find some other way to be completely dysfunctional with an appropriate requisite. Dense.

    How absolutely craptastic is it that you cannot watch a live stream from the beginning, and then that an hour and a half after the event, you still can't replay it. And then on each device, the live stream starts at a different place and happens to ruin the ending of the event. I will never use this service again and I hope it withers away into a distant, unpleasant memory of an unsuccessful streaming service.

    I love The Office. And Parks & Rec. But there are just way too many steaming services now and paying for all of them to watch one or two shows is just ridiculous. So I’m not paying for this one. The free content on Peacock is abundant, but it’s mostly shows that no one wants to watch or that you can watch for free on the Hallmark Channel or wherever they now show Murder She Wrote. Not exactly cutting edge programming. If this was an excellent app, I might have been interested. But it is clunky to operate, not very intuitive, and slow. So. Slow. It can take 5+ minutes to search for, find, and start playing a show. All while I’m watching those little rainbow dots go in circles. And the app freezes and crashes a lot. Not usually during a show, but definitely a lot while navigating the app and searching. We have super fast internet (more than a gig in speed to our house) and have no problem getting Netflix or Prime to load fast. Even CBS All Access is faster. Personally, I hope we will soon see consolidation in this space so we can see our favorite shows without having to subscribe to a dozen different services. And as those apps compete against each other, Peacock will not be a winner. NBC, you gave it a try. Now I hope you will license your best shows to Netflix and let us watch while you earn royalties for doing nothing.

    App is always telling me to check the internet connection and try again. Internet connection is just fine...175mbs should be good for streaming as it is with other stuff. I'd like to upgrade for more shows options, but I think it would be a waste I'd this is the way it works. After uninstalling and reinstalling the same issue exists

    I pay for it, it is slow it Laggs it gets stuck constantly it is always buffering and it will start from the very beginning of your episode out of nowhere and then when you fast forward to where you were guess what..... it gets stuck all over again. This happens on multiple different devices ie. Mobile ps4 roku and computer. Most times I end up going to bed when I do just because I can't get the app to work. It has good shows if they decide to play.

    I used this app once before but deleted it because the ads were ridiculous. Just keeps on saying an error has occurred. I've tried clearing the cache and reinstalling and same thing. What a trash app. From a major television network, this is pathetic and just plain laziness by the people running it. This is by far thee worst app I've ever used. Its incredibly slow and has all kinds of bugs. And never heard back from developer so their reply to this was just to make them look like they care.

    Auto play doesn't work, just stops when the episode ends and then starts the episode over again so you have to skip to the end, exit the video, then refresh the app to see the next episode in continue watching. There's also no way to remove items from your continue watching, so if you click on something by accident and it plays, it's stuck there until you skip to the end of each episode to mark it as completed.
