Got ripped off by PBP, DON'T DO IT EVERRRRRRRRRR !!!!!!
more lessGot ripped off by PBP... Had a $2 charge go through my account for $393.69! Had to close my account to dispute the charge. Will have to reopen another account and fight this fraudulent $2 charge. Can't post of any blogs or reviews, so I thought I would do it here!!!! It sucks that they have some kind of rights to particular parking lots. Be careful....

This is an absolute garbage app inconsistent barely works. You think you can just enter the location number. Lol your password it's never saved. Now you have to reset it. That doesn't work and you're stuck spending 20 minutes trying to figure it out and by that time you probably got a ticket. Do yourself a favor Don't walk away from your car thinking you could use this app while you walk to your destination, just pay the meter you'll be less stressed and be a lot more efficient and cheaper.

Last week I opened the app as always, chose the location, then added a new vehicle. Instead of parking for the new vehicle, the app reverted to an older vehicle and I got a ticket. When I called customer service, they said they would fix it, and instead, made ANOTHER transaction for another time 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ When I called again to fix THAT mistake, they said there was nothing they could do, I had to wait for an email that never came. Now I'm charged for two parking transactions + $30 ticket.

For a metropolitan area such as Miami, you'd think a simple app like this would work seamlessly. Says can't find parking zones, even when you enter the numbers correctly. Sometimes it just loads forever and ever. Tried restarting the app, even rebooted my phone. Still didn't work and had to go pay at the machine. App clearly needs more development.

App is great, customer service not so much
more lessI did a parking purchase in pay by park app for 8 hours, I stayed about 30 min in the parking because I was trying to call them couple of time since they say the customer line is busy and can’t take my call, I have an emergency and had to leave right away, tried to call them couple time to change my duration for parking and a refund but they said if it’s more than 20 min parking they can’t do anything about it and I have to pay the full price, the person on the line said she understand but wouldn’t resolve my problems and there’s nothing they could do for me, I even asked them to charged me for the duration I stayed instead, Maria is her name, she’s not professional, doesn’t understand to be a customer resolution means, have to ask a lot of my question with her supervisor, without me talking to her supervisor, and she doesn’t fit to be one. I’m not the type of person who will write a bad review, because i’m in the customer service industry myself. I love the app, it’s very convenient, I just hoped, I had a better customer service experience.

Refused to refund my money
more lessPaid for parking on a day that turned out to be a free parking day across the State. They refused to refund it. There are other apps that do the same thing so use Passport whenever possible. 1. They should know when States have free parking days and 2. Refund it when they make a mistake and work to get the money back from the state instead of making customers do it somehow. Rip off. Update they contacted me to absolve themself of any refund responsibility. They claim they are just billing on behalf of the city but they charge you, not the city. A credit card company will not allow the third party to refund the money that way. They provide no contact information on who to contact at the city to get the refund and they do not give back their service fee which they charge themselves and keep. Nor do they seem to make any effort to determine when parking is free and not charge you. So, FAIL!

more lessThe app uses a four digit code for each location. The app does not allow a user to search by name. So you will need to find the code elsewhere, either on some sign located somewhere or on the Internet. An example of poor design.

Can’t use it with Apple Watch
more lessThe app on the Apple Watch doesn’t allow you to add a meter number so you can’t pay for time on the meter. The app on the watch is completely different than on an iPhone. On the apple watch the app just lets you know if time is running out.

App has been inconsistent at best. For a year, I was unable to use it because something was "broken" in my account connecting an API to my credit card. No matter what card I used, I would have my payment declined. Finally convinced customer service to let me delete my account and start over. That fixed the problem. Convienent App, when it works.

Payments hardly go through, I often sit waiting for them to finish processing until I get too paranoid that some meter maid is about to show up so I kill the app and start over from scratch. Often times more than once. This just makes the whole getting extorted for lawfully using public streets thing so much more fun. Other than that, a truly life changing experience. 10/10 wouldn't recommend.

Too rigid and no way to fix a mistake... Be careful because no refunds. If you select wrong car there is no way to change it. Wasted money. Also no way to set a favorite car. I commute with the same car almost every time. I parked my wifes car once and then it became the default choice which caused me to pay for the wrong car on many trips after that. I didnt notice because I didnt get ticket in mail until weeks later. $100 wasted! Please fix!

It should not be hard to get an app like this right. The functionality is simple and straight forward. Usability is terrible and for some dumb reason NFC only works on the iphone version. Some very easy improvements would make this infinitely better. They could add auto-renew, or any kind of spot history. The only history is lacking any information and seems to be in random order??? I wish i could just pick a competitive app but this seems to be the only one that works in this area.
