  • Been looking for something like this. Really happy with this app! Oct 2, 2020

    By cgmikos
My girlfriend and I have been looking for a program like this to incorporate into our daily lives. We have a very healthy relationship, however are always trying to take action steps to improve it. I think it’s incredibly important to have an open channel of dialogue with my significant other and Paired makes it that much easier. We love the daily tips because they are easily digestible and they always focus on pertinent topics related to growing a relationship in a healthy way. The app also features a wide variety of courses you and your significant other can work on together. My girlfriend and I just finished the Relationship Foundations course and learned a lot about how to better support each other and resolve disagreements. Another interesting feature on Paired is the Daily Question, which newly populates every day. This question is usually posed by a certified professional and is intended to spark communication between you and your partner. My girlfriend and I regularly start our mornings by answering the question, and have found it to be a great conversation starter for the day. My girlfriend and I are huge fans of this app. I highly recommend the Paired Premium plan for any couple looking to grow in their relationship.

Daily notification for new question or quiz, rarely opens the app when I click the notification on my Pixel 3 xl. It's pretty frustrating and would like it to be changed but I can still access the question by manually finding the app. Serves its purpose, but because of the glitch no 5 stars.

  • Great daily activities and legit expertise for keeping relationships strong Sep 25, 2020

    By chinesefan
I tried this app out, a little skeptical at first given that I do not enjoy couples therapy. To my genuine surprise I found that the daily questions were actually fun to go through with my partner, and we’ve discovered things about each other that have been really insightful. The audio course are the perfect length too—just a few minutes long but a ton of helpful information, delivered by experts in the field, such as Pepper Schwartz. I think this app would benefit anyone in a relationship who wants to create more closeness or learn how to manage conflict and communication. I would say it’s less couples therapy and more something that will prevent you needing couples therapy!

  • Good app but could use some added features Jan 13, 2021

    By Ohaii_pinay
I’m so far pretty happy with the ease of using the app and the type of questions and quizzes that are given but I did have a couple suggestions: 1). For the love notes, I feel like you should be able to pick from a lot more emotions than like 10. There are so many feelings you could be feeling and I don’t think it should be limited to such a small amount. Maybe even 25 feelings would help me really express how I feel as I write a love note. 2). I think you should be able to jot down notes after you and your partner take a quiz. We should be able to discuss the questions and take some notes and write about it so that we have something to look back on and see how we’re progressing. 3). We should be able to redo a quiz in a couple weeks or months. I want to see the progress of my parter and I. Are we feeling better than before or worse? Then we could compare the results from 2 months ago and today. 4). It would be nice to be able to respond to their answers on the questions. Even with a limited amount of letters. This would be nice when we are unable to immediately discuss how we feel about how they answered the question. Hope some of this feedback makes it back to the big guys who made this app because it is a great tool for couples! I just wish these features were added!

  • A moment of connection in our busy days Sep 29, 2020

I think everyone who is doing long distance and are super busy in their life can relate to lacking that everyday connection with their partner. This app has been a wonderful new way for both of us to take a break in our day to think about each other, bring up some new thoughts, or simple smile. :) Its a great way to feel connected and let them know you are thinking about them even while you are living your busy life :) Love the App!! 💛💛💛

While this is a good idea, it would benefit from being able to add comments to answers to quizzes. Not all questions are easy rankings. I understand that this would be better if discusses together but if done while not in person, its hard to discuss via text and not in the app

  • Practically useless without payment Dec 29, 2020

I was excited to get the app after seeing such great reviews— my husband and I love to connect through little activities like the ones promised in this app. However, I found that pretty much the only thing available without the “premium account” is a daily question, which can spark some good conversation, but to be honest, I could find the same types of questions online or come up with them myself. For a monthly subscription cost, I’d rather go buy couples’ books with activities in them.

  • Really good concept, but a lot of bugs Nov 8, 2020

    By cranstonbern
I think the concept of the app is really good. My boyfriend and I really enjoy the written prompts and think they’re great for starting conversation about topics that might be difficult to bring up. However, there are quite a few bugs in the app. - the daily streaks are not accurately recorded - the timer for a new conversation on the free version of the app could have ran out, but my partner and I still weren’t able to respond to the daily conversation - my partner and I can’t see each other’s “reactions” to our responses when looking at the prompt page

I was enjoying the app and concept until I got a new phone. Apparently you can't just log in and all your information just show up. You need to contact support for your stuff to be migrated. Inconvenient and honestly makes no sense. For $50 things like this should not be the experience.

Its a great little app. My husband and I enjoy using to to answer questions and tips. But for "premium" its 89$ a year or 13.99$ a month. Thats as much as my Netflix. Its a ridiculous amount for an app. And the free version gives you 1 question a day and after awhile doesn't have anything else. Not worth the money.

  • Affordable couples counseling Feb 9, 2021

    By 13467776shhjujngff
This app was just what my fiancé and I needed. We love the daily questions and have those discussions. In you truly use the app for what its worth then this will be similar to couples counseling except you will have to hold each other accountable to actually do the daily tasks. If you do them, you will notice an improvement in your relationship.

This app has helped me and my partner discuss topics we usually don’t talk about. Whether they’re “uncomfortable topics” or just things that don’t come up in our usual conversations, we’ve enjoyed being able to talk and find out more about each other thru the daily questions.

Even if the app is amazing, the free version is nearly useless. Premium has many topics, texts, teachings, many quizzes for pairs, but the free version on the first few days gives you a free text next to the daily question, but after a week, forget it. Only one question a day and that's all, or "unlock" everything.

I really like the idea and what I've experienced in terms of execution, however, the free version is too limited. Only one question a day for free?? And maybe one tip? Not enough free to even see the value in paying for the premium, which is entirely too expensive for a phone app. So thank you for responding so swiftly to my review. I find it rather interesting, expected to but interesting nonetheless, that you chose to educate me on the free options instead of addressing the at issue at hand..

I'm sure the free version is more forgiving, but I work over night and the second midnight passes I can't access the previous day's question, which can be hard to achieve while working. The questions are fun and engaging and there's more to the app when paid, but free version is a 4/5

Really good when you first start but then the paid version starts popping up. It pops up all over and on every single thing you click on. Sorry but no I don't recommend unless you can afford the paid version.

From what content I can access without paying for premium, this app's great! My only complaint is the subscription ($20 a month/$100 a year per couple) isn't within my price-range, & it can be hard to determine which content within the app is premium, so I'm forever being taken to the subscription page accidentally after clicking on premium content. I was especially disappointed to begin one of the courses, only to discover that only the first 2 modules of it were available free. 😢

Seems like a good app, but difficult to tell as most useful features are available only on premium which is very expensive. One quiz/day on the free version is more like one useless question/day that doesn't help our relationship. I think up to NZ$5/month is reasonable, more than that is too much for most people. Bottom line, don't waste your time trying this app unless you're willing to pay NZ$90/year

don’t be fooled by the “free trial” they don’t let you get out of it even if you cancel before the week ends and make you pay for an entire year. idk who the developers think they are but $60 for this app is absolutely insane. fix this.

You need premium in order to really use the app so as someone who makes minimum wage it’s impractical and unusable. Definitely uninstalling

Paired is a great concept with horrible implementation. I paid for premium but it kept asking my wife to do so as well. No response from support. She ended up reinstalling and we lost all our shared answers. Looking forward to an app that gets this concept right. But it is not Paired.
