Seriously u get paid to workout and at YOUR PACE, I mean when u wanna go hard for the High roller challenges YES of course u gotta go hard but to start out it’ builds u up, it’s a WIN WIN, lose weight and win $, I thought this was a fraud then I won my 1st week home challenge BOOM $50 then couple weeks later $50 after a few wins I decided to go big and try one of the big gun challenges and I worked A LOT HARDER and a couple months nothing BUT I was still getting those home challenges, then one week I came in 3rd for a high rollerWhich obviously just gives you more motivation to try harder for the next one eventually around Easter time I won my first big challenge $250 I started to realize this app is no joke,Don’t expect to an overnight and don’t expect one if you’re not gonna put any effort into it and don’t expect to win if you’re going to cheat but if you want honestly lose weight and get paid he found the right app! Its a little confusing with the point system. But I find this app to be a good motivator to keep moving. Since I started, I actually lost a couple pounds. And I have more energy now. So if anyone is looking for a good app. I would download this one. You just have to work harder to place the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Good luck. And doesn't give you all your points for working out. So others will get ahead of you.

I wondered if Paid Workout was for real - well, it is. I won a workout challenge and got real money. It was pretty awesome, and it definitely got me working out more than usual. The biggest issue is I had to workout excessively to win. Like 2-3 times a day (luckily my competition was over the holidays when I didn’t have to work). It was motivating and fun but required diligent attention to the ranking, and by the end, I was overtrained. So you CAN win, but it’s hard (and it’s not sustainable to workout 3+ hours a day). The competitions also seem to be skewed to reward cardio more than weightlifting. If you are a marathon runner or teach fitness classes, you’d have a competitive advantage.

The app doesn't necessarily work with the tools I use to track my fitness, but their customer service is great, so changed my rating to reflect that. I think the app is a great tool if you have the compatible apps/tracking devices. It would be nice if they were more android compatible.

I’ve been participating in Paid Workout challenges for about two months, and I feel like I have enough experience under my belt to leave an honest review. What I love most about the app is how motivating it is to get me moving every day. I’m a super competitive person, and focusing on getting the highest score for the day, whether it’s in a Home Group Challenge or a 30 minute Dash to Cash, has been clutch as I continue to work on my fitness. The Paid Workout Team is constantly pushing out new content to keep it fresh and to offer something for everyone. Their customer service is excellent, and I often receive answers to my emails within 24 hours of sending. The app isn’t perfect - yet! - but I do believe Nicole, Michael, and their team are working hard to produce a quality product. See y’all in the next challenge!
  • Active Points are confusing Jun 11, 2021

    By anynameisfbe&&:'
When I first downloaded the app I noticed what activities got me how many points was kind of consistent, and now that I’ve used it for a while I feel like those same activities aren’t adding up anymore. Also the races used to be pretty close and now other people seem to be leaps and bounds ahead of me rather then everyone being pretty a pretty close race. There’s no way all these players are active the whole live long day that intensely especially in the beginner and intermediate levels.

I’m a very competitive person, always have been. But I don’t like working out….until now! Having the chance to compete against others (as well as earning cash, because we all know it’s the best incentive) has made it so I’m working out now. I’m being more conscious of how much I’m walking as well, which has been wonderful because I’m not winded every time I take my daughter for a walk in her stroller! All around, this app has been wonderful in helping me get up off the couch and start taking control of my health.

Good motivator for working out & when you win you will get paid! There are a few things that will make it better. First, people should not be able to choose their level, it should be chosen for them based on their history. People showing they are a beginner that clearly have done other challenges as advanced don't even give the actual beginners a shot at winning in a home group. Also, last game I placed 5th but a bit before 12am I synced my Fitbit and was showing 2nd place on one screen.

I’ve been using Paid-workout for a couple months now and I Love it!! It’s the extra motivation I need to get up and take a walk or workout that day even if it’s just for 30 minutes. I don’t do much cardio or exercises that burn a high amount of calories so I was worried I wouldn’t have a chance to win but the app puts you in a group with people who are at your same fitness level as you. If you need motivation to reach your goals this is the app for you!

I stopped using it because I noticed that more advanced palmers were going in my pool making it impossible for 2/3 of the players to catch up. I was also told that my fitbit wasn't recording correctly according to them and essentially accused me of cheating I my mind. I really like the idea of this but am not sure I will use in the future. I was pushed until the email about my Fitbit. I worked hard.

I want to like this app, but I'm not sold on the execution yet. For the most part, it's really confusing what each of the "scores" being shown represents. For me it seems my score is different depending on which part of the app I'm looking at. And confusingly none of them changed after I completed a workout today.

Not exactly what it says, You are still buying into a challenge and gambling on a return depending on who else signed up. There are more transparent ways to actually make money from working out that do not involve financial commitment. 10/10 would not recommend this app.

Doesn't log properly unless you leave notifications on all the time. Also will pop up letting you know it is taking fit data every 5 min. You have to spend money in order to enter challenges. Not worth it for what it does.

  • I love Paid Workout because it challenges me to be more active Jun 12, 2021

    By Bwaytapper
I’ve been using Paid Workout for a few months now. I enjoy it because it challenges me to be a little more active- sometimes it’s just a walk, sometimes if I do a Dash On Demand its 30min of trying to do fullout cardio. Sometimes I win a little money which is great! However even if I don’t I still win by being more active!
  • I got paid! Jun 12, 2021

    By Courtneypelle
My first challenge I joined I won $50 for coming in first place! It helps motivate you to keep moving because you want the money. Sometimes there are bigger money prizes. We just had a $1000 one. The best part is the challenges are only $5 to join and thus top 3 people win a prize!
  • Awesome concept Jun 10, 2021

I really like the idea of this app. You essentially buy in to compete against others. I’ve actually won a fair amount of money working hard. Not much to complain about there. Workout and get paid. Nice passive way to make a little bit of income and get into shape.

  • Great idea but there should be a way to eliminate cheaters Jun 10, 2021

    By APF221999
I love this app as a huge fitness enthusiast and is great for when you need that extra push. Biggest issue with the program is the cheaters. I have been on top of the leaderboard multiple times only to get surpassed by some people doing 4-5 thousand points in a day. Other than that it’s a great app and great for people looking for a small side hustle.
