Overview:
Player holding device has to describe the phrase on the screen so that their team guesses it. Keep passing around until the buzzer goes off. Get caught with the device when the buzzer sounds, opposing team gets a point.
Full Directions:
Split up into 2 even teams. Gather in a circle so that no player is sitting next to their teammate (alternate). Choose a player to start the game. The player then has to give clues about the word so that someone on their team shouts it. You cannot say the word or give clues that rhyme with your phrase. When your team guesses the word/phrase, pass the device to the next player (of the opposing team). Swipe left to generate the next word. Keep playing until the time runs out. The team holding the device when the buzzer sounds loses (opposing team gets a point). Repeat until a team has the necessary points to win.

Racial Slurs!
Sep 2, 2018 Game is great! Only issue is that the only racial slurs included in the game are N***er and K**e. These should be removed it ruins the vibe! I had a group of people at my house playing and these words popped up and caused an issue. Either add Racial slurs for all races or remove them all together. I recommend removing them all together. Someone can really get hurt saying these words to people.more -

Good catchphrase clone but less variety than the real game
Feb 16, 2015 The mechanics of the game are identical to Catchphrase. The upgrade packs are definitely a good value -- especially $4 to unlock all word packs. Definitely a fun party game that lasts 1-2 hours. The only downside of this game is that there isn't as much variety in words/phrases as in Catchphrase. Many words/phrases were repeated over the rounds. This app is also a bit easier than catchphrase. Hopefully the developer can add new word packs and increase the level of difficulty in the future.more -

Entertaining
Aug 3, 2015 Had a lot of fun playing the game and it provided for a long night full of laughs. The game runs smoothly. I bought the full version and it was definitely worth having all the extra categories. A few features would be nice. Such as being able to look at the full list of words for a pre-made category. And the navigation when using community word packs doesn't give many options.more

Error Cannot Download Lists
Apr 11, 2015 Fun and easy to use, the starter packs are okay. Easy is really really easy. I bought the entire word pack because it's only 4 bucks. After paying for it, I get an error that says the packs could not be downloaded. Tried everything I could think of. I have a good connection, my phone storage is not full, uninstalling, reinstalling. Tried submitted a help request through the "support" link on the settings page and that link is broken too. Iphone 6 running latest version of 8.2. Fix the issue and I'll give it 5 stars :)more

I've been a fan of catchphrase for a few years and play it most often when visiting family and friends. This version is awesome. Clean and works very well. It really is hours of entertainment and hilarious times, even with those friends or family members that are too cool to enjoy games. I couldn't find the upgrade packets one night after playing for 10 hours over two different nights (snowed in and lots of drinking in the bitter northeast) but they showed up this morning. I couldn't recommend a more fun game to play with groups of people. There's thousands of words and surprisingly up to date with categories. Get this if you're looking for a great time.
