Love this game, it has just the right amount of challenge. I am a huge bejeweled player and that was getting too easy for me. I wish the ads were 15 seconds instead of 30 in-between each and every time playing. I also wish there were more picture themes including more holiday/seasonal themes, that would rock! I also recommend an option to enlarge the blocks a bit, some of the themes can have quite small blocks. Great time filler for insomniacs lol

Actually calming (or exciting, depending on how you play) game. Maybe a bit addicting (not sure why people think thats a good thing). Pretty much everything people complain about has a good option for. Dont like the timer? You can disable it. Pictures get hard to distinguish? You can swap the picture set at any time. Dont like the ads? You absolutely do not have to monthly subscribe to remove them — theres a button in settings that allows you to permanently disable ads for a one time price for like two bucks. Theres no options for bombs but i like them cause they keep you strategizing and i like the time pressure. If you dont like them, theyre not that frequent and its easy to remove them with shuffles, which you can also earn very easy. I like the variety of levels. Its nice going from a super hard, dense board to an easy one as a break. But it does get repetitive. Maybe i will get bored someday but right now the simplicity is a major plus, especially compared to all the other cheap puzzlers out there (no i dont want a garden or a quest board or a lengthy tutorial in every single game, crazy right?). Also the sountrack is beautiful (an additional track would be nice tho, as well as more sound effect volume control) and the art reminds me of I Spy books. Fav puzzler so far.

This game is great! It’s challenging, but not so that it is impossible. My one and only gripe ( which will probably cause me to delete this game) is the ADs. If the level is easy, you will see an AD after every 1-2 minutes. If the level is hard, it might be 3-5 minutes before the next ad. If the level is extra hard, after 5-7 minutes, the level times out and then AD. If you beat the level........AD. I just timed my play, and it went like this: 1 minute of play/30 second AD. 1 min. 15 seconds play/30 se. AD. 40 sec. play/5 sec. AD. 60 sec. play/30 sec. AD 4 min. play/5 sec. AD 1 min. 30 sec. play/30 sec. AD. The game does randomly skip to the next level without an AD but those times are very rare. Pretty much at the beginning of the game(level 1-4, and then very rare from then on out. I understand why there is ads, but, for 8 minutes of playing time, I sat through 2 minutes and 10 seconds of 5-30 second ADs. Ridiculous. If it was my app, I would make it so that when you clear the level , there is a 5 sec. ad..If the level is cleared in one attempt, no ad. If the level times out before you are finished, 30 sec. ad. The way it’s done now, the annoyance of the ads outweighs the pleasure of the game. And 9.49monthly or 3.49 weekly, in my opinion is way too much. Just my opinion. P.S. Interactive ads would be better.

AWESOME game - super addicting!! Appropriately more challenging as the levels increase. The ONLY thing keeping it from a five-star rating is the ads...I know they have to have 'em, but you can't just exit out of all of 'em, so unless you actually click on them, the only way to get past 'em is to close the game, and you lose whatever level bonuses you may have won. Otherwise, totally terrific!

  • Bombs & no time limit Nov 3, 2019

I like playing. I have 3 issues. 1-I’m not asking for access to all the themes. I would like to turn off/on the ones I do have access to though. The buttons to do so are not locked. Yet, when I try to turn one off, it takes me to the screen for the weekly/monthly deal. Some themes even show a little crown as the on/off switch, designating those are the premium access. Fine, but I want to access the ones that are shown as open/useable to me. 2-Same as others’ complaints- it does an auto shuffle with available pairs still showing. Tolerable, but not fair. 3-It gives me the option to not use a timer. I have this on so I can relax & not feel rushed. Yet, so many times it adds a bomb! What do you think a bomb is?! Another version of a timer! If you don’t match the bomb to get rid of it or pass it on again to the next pic, it ends the game! Then you either start over or watch a video to continue without a bomb. I’ve had 1 bomb, & up to 5 bombs in one game! It’s hypocritical to allow me to choose no timer, but still make me use a bomb! And I can’t get rid of them unless I match or wait for it to blow up & watch a video.

I started playing this game because I needed help with my memory after a traumatic brain injury. I like it for the most part and gave it 2 stars because of the card bombs. It is really frustrating when you match the "card bombs" and it jumps to other squares over and over. If it "explodes" you can restart or watch an ad to continue without it. I "watch" the ad by turning off the volume and let it run.

Loved playing this game so much that I purchased the VIP option to remove the ads. However, it's only the ads in between games that are removed, you still have to endure a 30s ad every 60s to keep playing unless you pay again to have them removed. Really misleading and bad business practice. Shame the game is good but their business model is disgusting and have now removed the app.

I’ve lost (and had to watch ADS to continue) because all of a sudden, the game doesn’t acknowledge matches. It happens most often on the moving “block set” games (where the pieces move in a block set). I’m fairly fast but lose so much time because you HAVE to wait for the set to stop moving/can only match ONE pair in each set unless you want the game to break. I took screenshots. It doesn’t allow actual matches - says you are wrong. Even when the hint tells you it’s a match. And then a few times it’s had ONE block left over. One! How is that even possible?? I couldn’t win the game and had to reset the app and then lost my whole game progress and had to redo the set. I’ve also completed entire sets in about 20 seconds and still have never filled the entire bar up to get all of the free hints/scrambles. Seems impossible to fill the bar.

I’m addicted to the race with the clock / find stuff games... so this on is most compelling BUT the images are very tiny for visually impaired older folks so it hurts even with glasses. Curious why it won’t let obvious matches be made but now that I’ve read I’m not alone it’s just flawed. Love the game, very addicting. Don't like the changes where I can only accept my rewards one time. Used to if I clicked really fast I could get tons. And I'm sure there is a few more things I don't like that's has changed but I can't remember what they are. I also think the faster you complete it the more rewards you should get but you don't, or at least not enough.

Updated post: problem was fixed and im back to spending too much time playing. Works very well! Was obsessive about playing this game. Hate the amount of ads but liked the game enough to put up with them. Now however, i get a notifcation thats there's no videos to play and noticed that when the Clockmaker ad pops up that the game will stop. It doesnt freeze as the gift box flashes, but i cant select it to continue. Very frustrating and i hope it gets fixed soon, otherwise i'll be deleting it.

You also have various different images to match up to and you are times as well which makes it more fun for want of a better word. When I downloaded this game I though I would only do it for a short while, bug what I ended up doing is that I played it for 4 and a half hours which I did not expect. I recommend i

  • Surprisingly fun! Feb 12, 2020

After reading the reviews I almost didn’t download the game. I am so glad I did! It is very similar to mahjong with some challenges, like moving tiles. I don’t mind the ads in between the games. They do get annoying when they play after pausing the game. I think I have worked up to somewhere in level 40 or so and plan to keep going. It was a bit confusing on how to play at first, but I figured it out. If there was a help button with directions I couldn’t find it. The basic goal is to connect a line between two identical pictures. Be warned, several pictures can look quite similar. There doesn’t seem to be a penalty for clicking on the wrong picture (thank goodness). It is timed, but if you run out of time you can watch an ad and add more time to the clock. I say take a chance and download, you can always delete it later if you don’t enjoy it.

This game reminds me of mahjong, in that you try to match pairs of tiles but you need to do it strategically. When there are lots of tiles on the board, the images can get very small for my old eyes, which can make things difficult since there can be only subtle differences between pictures. Also, it would be nice if there was an undo button and an indicator for which way the tiles will collapse after a match. It would also be nice if we knew how many stars were necessary to reach each reward level. Overall, I still find this to be a fun and addictive game. That being said, the number of ads is ridiculous. If there was an option to pay 99 cents to get rid of the ads, I might actually do it (and I never spend money on games), but there is no way I will subscribe. The price they’re asking is insane!

  • Addicting game, with a few flaws Jan 1, 2020

    By A-M Brac
First off, I want to say that I’m super addicted to this game. That being said it does have a few flaws.. The first issue that I have is that the bomb timer starts during the ads so the bomb card can be half gone by the time you actually get to start to play the game, which means that with certain pictures you can’t even tell what they are to even find the match. The second issue I have is that I wish there was a spot in the corner or something showing what the bomb card is because I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve had to restart a level because I can’t remember what the bomb card actually was in the first place.. Other than those few issues this game is amazing and extremely addictive!

  • Misleading Ads; Fun, Pay-to-Play Apr 19, 2020

    By CarieFitzi
I downloaded this after watching a couple ads in other games/apps & on social media. The ads & promos for Onnect are misleading, as the boards are neatly set up like typical memory games and/or Mahjong rather than the random heap of tiles/cards/images as depicted in the ads. Not a huge deal, because obviously it’s easier to find pairs in a formatted board versus a heap. Plus, it’s possible that the board changes as players progress in the game. I played a few rounds & while it is fun, there is a lot left to be desired. The rules are simplistic - match images - but don’t exactly follow Mahjong rules. Sometimes a pair successfully matches that is blocked by other tiles/images & sometimes the game won’t accept a pair made that way. Rounds are pretty quick, depending on ability and play style, which normally wouldn’t be too much of a problem, but there is at least one, sometimes two 30-second ads between rounds. I get it - developers like to be paid for their services/work, especially in free games. But again I’d rather pay up front for a game - even take a risk on quality/enjoyment - than spend more time watching ads than actually playing a game. Features like image selection are set up to look like players have the freedom to make those choices but only when subscriptions are purchased. Again, I get it, but it’s misleading & frustrating. Overall, it’s fun but frustrating and there are plenty of other games out there to try instead.

  • Fun but needs direction Apr 21, 2020

I love these puzzles but they need to add some features to make it more of a game. For example, you accumulate points as you make matches but there’s no reason. The points don’t earn you any rewards (such as a hint or extra time on a bomb. These are only gained by watching an ad). It doesn’t even keep track of high scores or anything point related. Why bother even keeping a point total? While you do “win” by solving puzzles, you don’t progress in any way. Most games have levels or different features/obstacles as you progress through the game. It’s just endless puzzles that don’t go anywhere. You have no idea how many puzzles you’ve solved, how many you solved on the first try, etc. No stats whatsoever. I can’t even figure out what the little icons are that appear when you win. The game is far more challenging than I expected but it would be improved if it went somewhere.

This game is awesome and addictive! I would give it 5 stars, but it has a couple of annoying glitches. The first being the Ads volume. I have the game settings to no music, no sounds. When waiting in an office waiting room and playing this game and an ad starts with full volume, It scares everybody! I know ads are needed to keep the app up and running but you have to do away with the volume. There’s nothing worse then being startled like that. And secondly when you push the button to receive your hints and mixup boost, it doesn’t give them to you. Both of these are very agitating for me. I’m relaxing and enjoying playing this game and all of a sudden an ad is blaring. Or you’re making headway in a game and need your boost and you don’t have any because they didn’t give them to you when you pushed the button to receive them. This may not bother everyone....

  • Good game but too many glitches and ads Jul 14, 2020

I really like the game, but have complaints similar to other reviewers. The most recent is like a loop. You get to a certain level or game, finish and it goes directly to an ad then either goes to a black screen or closes out the game. When you can get it to open again it is as if you never played the game... no new level and no renewed help items. I've played the same game 3 times! Please fix. It could be a great game, but very frustrating. If it does work right, you spend half your time looking at ads! Saturday: 3 days and no change. I get the same puzzle time after time, no new helps for finishing the puzzle etc. Please fix or I will have to delete the game. I did enjoy it despite the frequent ads, but can't continue to play the same puzzle. July 14 Some of the above glitches seem to have been fixed. With the latest update however, the game is unusable. 3/4s of the screen is white pixelated covering the puzzle grid. What you can see of the puzzle grid looks like it is covered with a screen or film. I don't know if this is only on my game or if this is common since the update. I have tried all the tricks of deleting the app, turning off the iPad and reinstalling with no luck. Please help!

Love this game. I would play it all the time but after a short time the ads hang up my iPad. Or I watch the ad and then the button to resume the game is greyed out and there is noway to kove forward but to shut down the iPad completely. When you go back to the game, you have to start anew. Eventually it gets so bad the only option is to uninstall it and reinstall. I’ve done that a few times now but it’s getting old and it won’t be long before the hassle to play the game is not worth it. Update: took away a star. They recently did an update and now it’s even worse. You get a notice that no videos are available and a 5 second count down. It says no videos and adds 5 seconds to the count down making it 10 seconds. Gets to the end and notice that says no videos, adds an additional 5 seconds and on and on. This game is officially so annoying that I am deleting it for good. Great idea for the game but terrible execution and way too many ads.

Do yoy want to see plenty of adverts? Do you never get tired of them? Then this is the game for you. Do you want to shuffle? Just watch an advert. Do you want more time? Wait for the advert. Do you want to finish? There is an advert to help with that. There is absolutely no challenge. You will finish for sure. Just be prepared to wait the time out for another advert to finish. If only advertisers could realize how counterproductive adverts are.

The reason for 2 stars is for several reasons. The most important is the size of some of the pictures. I have diabetes, my eye sight is not that good. The other is the “bomb”. I can’t stand that! There are more, but I will stop there. Also, I agree, how do I get the game you showed when you advertised this game. Add on.....so many adds, come on! We get all those ugly faces and 144 seconds (or something like that) then when we run out of time, AN ADD. AND THEN ANOTHER ADD. Another add on, although I do not think you read them. WHY, when I am playing a game, and I am out of time, why are there NO ads. But when I restart the game, an ad is available??i have no patience for this crap. Here’s an idea...instead of making us wait for an ad to become available, after a certain time, let us go back to the game. This having to wait minutes for an add to become available is wasting my time! I am about to give up on your game!
