  • Fantastic game but lacking a bit late game Jul 15, 2020

    By Zanyman96
This game is everything I have been looking for in a game. It is enticing, the pay to win isn’t too prevalent, and it has fun and interesting hero’s from the anime to collect. That being said, while there is plenty to do, the game drops off a bit when you start to hit late game (level 101 for units). You cannot upgrade your units to 101 unless you have collected enough to make the unit golden. This is a struggle for many of the good units as they are very rare to get, let alone get multiple of the same kind. The game allows you to upgrade using similar units to yours, however it takes a while. You get stuck almost at a plateau until you can upgrade your units. Also the character experience is difficult to get to upgrade if you cannot progress in the story. If they could fix that issue and make it less of a plateau it would be an EASY 5 out of 5 Would give 4.5 if possible. Still recommend to anyone and everyone

As the game is now,it's really fun. Heroes can be easily collected now through summon systems and events, without spending much money, using abilities are satisfying and beautiful. All it needs now is more and more content, although champion exp feels rare to get, just because upgrading abilities take so many levels.

I love this game everything about the game play is great for the most part I’ll be talking about the chat one thing that I’m hoping will be added soon is a way to report people I’ve been seeing a lot of bots, predators, racist people, and spammers in the chat and I can’t do anything about it also some words that aren’t even bad get censored which is annoying when you’re talking for example button and hello also when I head to the chat I’m sometimes stuck in channel 0 and have to log in again to chat also I hope you guys can add some stuff to the game that won’t just make it a afk arena type of game because that gets boring pretty quickly over all the game play is pretty good but the chat lacks a few things I hope you can fix some of the stuff I listed thanks for the great game.

Not a bad game as Gachas go. Sadly, I didn't find it very engaging, I didn't really like having to change my team every single level, for example, and most of the content is rather repetitive. It's quite good towards f2p to start with, and I've got a solid team of elite characters, but the rewards are starting to dry up. Finally, it is a lengthy process to get character xp, and most of the fun is creating strong characters, which you won't be able to do without investing real money I suspect.

If possible I would really enjoy a crossover. I think this would make a large impact on the game. For example if there were another game similar to this like a Naruto game, then if somehow there were to be a crossover many players from other genres of anime would join the game. Another thing I was thinking is to add more characters from season 2 of the anime. Of course I wouldn’t be surprised if this is already being worked on. Another thing is to make more rare and uncommon characters. I take one look at the album and half of the characters are epic or something better. And if there were a way to turn off notifications on things like promoting characters after resetting the game. Also for me the chat constantly glitches out and says I am in channel 0. Won’t let me change that either.

This is a terrible game that requires massive amounts of money and is not very fun. I would not mind if the original was still available, cause that was amazing. But now if we want to play road to hero, we have to play a crappy version with less characters, more pay to win, more randomness, stupid idle features, and no carry-over of our progress? No thank you. The devs for this game are terrible, don't support them. Uninstalling.

The ad for the game is a complete and total lie. The 7 day log in rewards are nothing compared to what is still being advertised. Not only have you not done anything, but now it is appearing more places. Edit: now they claim it to be a coupon redemption thing, but it is impossible to get any of the good characters without payment obscene amounts. And to get all would probably require hundreds of dollars spent on the game. Its false advertising either way.

So my friend and I downloaded the game on the same day and for the most part we stayed even. But now After a few weeks into the game he has pulled way ahead of me. It’s not because he bought anything or played more. It’s because he got really lucky on a few draws. And now I struggle to keep up. The game is great but if you get unlucky on the draws you will be stuck for days if not weeks with basically zero progress. I know this is how most games are but when you are trying to compete you have to be really lucky or spend money. Guess I’m getting tired of theses types of games. No real skill involved just lucky drops. Update changed to one star: I still like the game but if your not lucky you have to pay. And it’s a ripoff to pay, you don’t get enough for your money. got a reply back from the game designers that basically said “this is how these games go”. Well my buddies continue to get great draws and advance in the game while I continue to be unlucky. I guess this game won’t get anymore of my money. That’s just how things go sometimes.

Had a total of five times I tried to play the game. First time crashed during the beginning cutscene. Second time I skipped opening cutscene and went to do the tutorial battle, which crashed before the battle started. Third time I had the disconnected message and I just decided to restart the phone. Fourth time I accidentally glitched the server select screen and turned out I couldn’t exit out of it since the game also loaded in. And the last time I end up getting into the tutorial battle but it was laggy for some reason. Didn’t last 5 seconds before I got kicked out again. Please fix the crashing and I might be able to do a proper review. Edit: For when I got into the battle, I decided to run it a few more times. When it crashes, it’s almost all ways after Moonlight Rider takes the first hit of the battle. Can never get past that point it’s the farthest I got to without crashing.

I purchased a gift pack and the app took the money off of my credit card then when I went back to the game after the purchase it said "recharge failed". So I did not receive what I payed for. Then I contact custom support and was told the following: To solve your issue faster and more effectively, please send a private message through the FB fan page of the game (you can find the game's FB homepage by searching the game name) or provide your issue to the in-game service team.. 👎🏻👎🏻

  • (Please read) Really amazing/chill game. Jul 2, 2020

    By FerIcey
I’m a big OPM fan, and I started playing this game yesterday, and it got my attention. is a really amazing/kinda idle game. If you don’t like tutorials there’s a skip button, it also shows some cutscenes in the story of the actual OPM anime. When your offline, you can still get Money and character EXP, which can help you Level up/Upgrade your heroes. It would be better if the game had more characters in it. although I ain’t complaining. This game actually has potential, I’m going to start spending money on this game soon😂(Its not p2w) imagine the future events! I can tell they’re going to be amazing! In my opinion, you, or whoever is reading this should actually download the game. 🙂👌🏼 (Sorry is I misspelled some words or anything)

I really enjoy playing this game however there's a few problems is that it moving forward feels rough. I emplore the fact the that their is no energy system. A feature that could be great is optional ads like watch 2 ads to recruit a character. Also , their should be at least a little more player interference with battle because it feels like you just watch and it's kind of boring. There should be like a thing you press to activate a heros skill but overall a very good game.

  • Surprisingly Good Jul 9, 2020

I’m a huge gacha player (DB legends, 7DS grand cross, Dokkan, etc.) usually when I try out a new gacha it fails to meet my expectations graphics wise and tends to be pay to win. I’m not just talking about making you pay to complete content—I’m also including the pressure you get to spend money in order to get the characters you want. This game isn’t like that at all. It’s by far the most free to win game I’ve ever seen. If you play the game enough you find that you constantly have the diamonds to summon multis, not to mention the free elite characters they give out for doing simple missions as a free to play. The game is extremely generous. Though the graphics are simple at times they are still thoroughly satisfying, and the game mode while simple, is still highly enjoyable. I don’t really write reviews but imma 5 star this one for being a fair and such a wonderful addition to the anime. 10/10 recommend a download.

This is a brilliantly engaging game. It's beautifully done but it gets really hard, really fast. Once you reach a certain point in the game, you hit a wall and you have to patiently wait for days while you gather the resources needed to level up your characters. Because of this, it gets really frustrating. It is next to impossible to get fast in this game without spending big money, which is a shame.

  • Great Game to Pass the Time Aug 7, 2020

    By GreenSupreme
OPM:RTH 2.0 is a great game to help pass the time, especially if you are stuck at home during the whole COVID situation. I think the EPIC cards pull rate needs to be adjusted up to 15% since it takes soooo long to get duplicate cards to upgrade, especially if you play for fun instead of using money. That would make the game a lot more fun, fair, and would dramatically decrease the level of complaints regarding upgrade progression. This game would be worth 5 stars when that little issue is fixed, and we would have even more fun and be happier! That is the point right? Not just about money for the creators? I say PROVE IT to the developers and the results would be that this game will explode that much more with popularity!

One-Punch Man in AFK Arena dress. Doesn't stand out in any shape or form. If you like the Manga/Webcomic/Show then this game should be somewhat satisfying. It's as greedy as AFK Arena, meaning, you'll comfortably level and move on for a while, then you'll hit a wall. There's better and there's worse games out there. Try it if you like the show. PS: for the love of God, just give me Tatsumaki already!

Mediocre game for an amazing anime. Grindy and unbalanced and I am only 2 days in. Other developers have a much better understanding of this genre of collectable idle game. If a rep reaches out in response to tell me to go elsewhere to give them the same info I just offered, I will lower to one star. Cool to see the characters, but the game is Meh, at best.

  • Road to hero Jul 6, 2020

    By Evan Daley
I wrote a review earlier and I realized I missed some things after just playing the games back to back. What I liked about the first game was that there was a lot more skill involved with the first game because you had a shared skill point system in fights where anyone could do a special if you had enough points, which meant you had to be paying attention or the AI could do the wrong strategy, but with this new game it makes it easy to sit back and have the Auto take over because there is no strategy. There isn’t really a world anymore to explore anymore you just a press attack. The first game felt more personal and this new game is missing it. I will still play it as long as I am entertained, but I know I will play 1.0 for as long as its out because I still find joy in completely finishing the game.

I feel let down by this game and the fact they just did away with the first Road to Hero which is better version of this game, I do appreciate that Oasis is quick to respond (although every response feels copy/pasted, always "trying to improve and suggestions on Facebook" ) but at least there's that I guess. This game is okay, nice graphics. However, the first version of One Punch Man: Road to Hero was a lot better gameplay. The equipment process and battle system are both boring now.

  • Great game but horrible regulation Jul 12, 2020

I’m several days in and very much enjoying the gameplay, but the chat function is absolutely insane. Some words are censored like “hello” because of the “hell” part which seems crazy but I understand. However many words that should be censored either aren’t or people have found easy workarounds. The chat is FULL of N words, graphic references to sex, and anybody identifying themselves as a female is immediately targeted and harassed. One would think that any game with this much of a social aspect would have a way to report harassing players but there is none. Very irresponsible, I would not recommend letting your child play this.

Not bad needs improvement. The one thing that I do not understand is how saitama is not a playable character? How do you sell that? Its like having Dragon Ball z without Goku, who does that? Really frustrated with that, and how are there two versions of this on Google? One clearly shows saitama being used and this one with none? I feel deceived.

I am a big one punch man but what this company has done is immoral and greedy. I understand this is a game that you can pay money to advance, I’m not talking about that, I’m talking about when this game went from Verizon 1.0 to 2.0, all progress was restarted. This included all heroes gathered and whatever money you spent. That IS INSANE. They offered no refund and no explanation. 2.0 been out for a few weeks now so that update to 3.0 is coming!!! Don’t let the one punch name sucker you in! This game is created by a horrible company made of thieves who’s only goal is to take your money and “update” the game and make everyone start over. Do not download this game without first reading the comments on their Facebook. Rate 1 star! Get this game removed from App Store or make the company change their policies!!!
