Absolutely Fantastic
Sep 5, 2020 I am so thrilled about this app. My daughter is 2.5 years old and is so excited about it! Her favorite are the drawing activities, and she loves sharing them and following along. I’ve never seen her be so engaged in an app. We are excited every morning to see what’s new for our day, and we like to space them out. I let her choose what’s first on our list, and we go from there. I am so grateful for this app that lets myself and my husband play along side her and really be apart of her play when she’s using screen time. 1,000 stars if I could give it that! You won’t regret it. It’s like if ABC Mouse had a more interactive and inclusive sibling we didn’t know about. YAY OK PLAY!more -

When so much early childhood apps focus on math and languages and jump-starting “genius,” OK Play is all about you and your children learning to love all your emotions — giving you the space to be OK with them so that you don’t have to be owned by them. It teaches empathy by walking through the challenges kids face everyday in a fun and researched way, and offering things you can do right now to practice kindness. All of the activities are designed for parents and children to experience together. This is not an app that tells kids to “go away” and entertain themselves. So there is an expectation for parent participation. But the collaboration is so well communicated and fun that you’ll find this is easy, fun, and high quality time spent with your child. The content is produced at a high level, which is surprising for how much there is, and how new content appears each day (free version) and week (subscription version). I highly recommend this app!! Sep 3, 2020 Not screen time but seen time! This app is awesome for activity ideas and it really gets my son talking about his emotions. He starts talking to the characters and I’m learning all sorts of things about his feelings that I didn’t know. He also is learning to understand his emotions and when he’s not being so nice to others. I also don’t always have time to research what developmental activities would be fun engaging. This helps so much when I’m short on time but need a quick idea.more

Sep 19, 2020 Cuteness is off the charts! Siblings are upset though. We were hoping to do the Screen Free TV activity. Sadly, all we get is a pop-up for a subscription. Is there an option to refer friends to get 1 week of subscription? Or rate the app to get 3 days of it? That would be VERY HELPFUL and I'll be glad to change this to a 5 star rating!more -

Gamechanger!!! Love!!!
Great for all ages! Finally an app where you are supported and encouraged to play and connect with your child in a meaningful way. Yes, it is beautifully designed and the activities (particularly Sad Song!) made us laugh and laugh...but at a deeper level it helps relieve my children’s anxiety during these challenging times...and bridges a gap many of us parents feel between ourselves and the technology our children are using. -

The thing I love most about OK Play is that it’s intentional time for me and my children, where we get to open up and learn more know about each other on an emotional level through play. It deepens my understanding of and connection to my children. Highly recommended for families who are looking for a breakthrough in their relationships. -
So thoughtful and well done. Just every step is a combination of first and foremost fun for the kids while at the same time being thoughtful about screen time and creativity and helpful interactions. The parental interaction is also really cool. Highly recommend for kids under 8. Great things for them to do without it just handing over a screen to watch cartoons or play games.
