    This app is perfect. Once 15 days have passed from your 2nd dose (Pfizer & Moderna), all you have to do is answer a few questions and boom you have your excelsior pass. It could not have been any easier!! Thank you!

    This app is perfectly fine, people just dont know how to use it properly😂😂. If you already havw a pass then you have to take a screenshot of it then crop the picture all the way down to the boarders of the blue square. You cant leave it uncropped. You're welcome

    I got my pass on the website and was able to add it, from there, into Apple wallet, to screenshot it, to print it, to save it as a file, and to download this app and add it to the app as well. Overkill, maybe, but I don’t know yet which will work best for my needs so I tried them all, and they all work. So you don’t actually need this app to have an Excelsior Pass, which a number of complaints don’t seem to understand. It’s just an added convenience. My one problem had to do with the pass itself, not the app. I counted yesterday as 14 days from my second vaccine but couldn’t get a pass until today. I figure I miscounted because I got my shot early in the day?

    I tried to get the pass 1 week after I was fully vaccinated & was informed that I was trying to put my info in to early to receive it. Fast forward 2 weeks later tried again and BINGO, worked like a charm. It expires in one year from the date I received my second vaccination, which is fine since no one really knows if these vaccinations will need boosters, or whatever, in the near future. 3 days later I did the same for my hubby so he could get his pass on his phone and had Zero problems with getting his pass either. Making life soooo much easier to wine & dine, or whatever. Stay safe all!!

    Only giving it 4 stars due to incorrect information that I had to enter at first. It gave me different counties where I did not get vaccinated at. I got mines in the Bronx and the only one in nyc that came up in was queens so I went with that one and got my pass. Also it seems to expire after a month. I know the app just came out so there’s gonna be some issues at first but hopefully this is one of them they can address moving forward. Other than that I haven’t had the time to use it yet but it looks easy to use. It’s super convenient as I don’t have to carry the physical card with me everywhere I go

    Was able to confirm my elderly loved ones Vax cards. Can hold multiple family members. You MUST SPEAK TO YOUR DR. to make sure THEY entered your info correctly or else the pass will not find it. Zip code and county must match what the Dr. entered. I trust this app since it's created by them and is the most legal. All other covid verification apps are privately operated. Beware that this proof will expire in 1 year. There's no further explanation what will happen afterwards or how to renew.

    Like most of you, I too had a problem, it said my pass needed to be updated but it would not allow it. I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 ultra 5G. This is what worked for me, I deleted the app and re-installed it, I then restarted my phone. I then clicked on the app, there was an update function that you could click, I did this and I had to re-enter all my information again but it did update the Excelsior pass and you could add the plus if you wanted. Try this and if it works let me know!

    Once I went thru the online site for verification, the app automatically opened up and showed me the proof. My problem, I actually tried about ten times, was that the online site could not find my info. I was getting really frustrated. Tried mother’s maiden name, and a whole bunch of other stuff, and still nothing. Then it hit me. I was inputting the county I live in instead of the county I was vaccinated in. Duuuh. Once I corrected that, voila! Went right thru and I now have the proof.

    This app works exactly as advertised. Most of the one star reviews criticize parts of the process that are not related to the app (e.g. the vaccination provider not recording information correctly). I ran I to such a problem as well, got in touch with customer support and got it straightened out. Also, if your pass is about to expire (or has already expired) get a new pass, it will have an updated expiration date. All that is explained on the Excelsior Pass web site.

    The 15 day wait to be able to add the pass after my last vaccination was a bit tedious, but once I was eligible I just entered in some basic verification info and it automatically fetched my vaccination record. Then I added my vax QR card to my passbook. As apps go, it’s pretty bare-bones (small, easy to implement things are missing, like text auto fill, no social or app download share links, etc), but it does what it needs to and I had no issue. This was very quick and easy to use once I was eligible to use it.

    It never added my pass. kept saying it was already added when trying to download while the app clearly said "no passes have been added". Very frustrating. Had to go to the website directly to get it and I took a screenshot. Would not add from the screenshot either. Please fix

    I downloaded this app when I first got my vaccine and the whole thing hadn’t worked. I figured maybe it was because I just got my vaccine and not all records are as speedy as one may hope. So I requested a review, left my email and I deleted the app and decided to wait a while. I downloaded it again today (3+ months since I’ve gotten my vaccine) and tried again since I hadn’t heard anything through email or phone about the review. Of course, it didn’t work for me but it worked for my father who got the vaccine on the same day as me, at the same time, at the same place. So obviously it’s not the records considering my entire family has the pass on their phone now and we all got it done are ours the same time in the same county. I sent in another review request form and I can guarantee you I will not get a response from them regarding my information because I’ll bet there’s no one even working on review requests. Fix this problem because I know I’m not the only one that’s having it.

    The app is fine and I use it all the time. What I do not like is that Apple users get to save a copy to their Apple wallet, while Android users still have to go to the app itself. Android users are generally more tech savvy why in the would would they skip over us?

    I have been unable to retrieve my vaccine pass, after multiple attempts and checking the information against my vaccine card, even though I received my last dose well over a month ago. Looking through the reviews here, this seems to be a very common problem, and likely related to problems in entering or maintaining the data in the state vaccine database. That’s to be expected with a vaccine system started up so quickly in an emergency. The problem is that support for correcting the data and retrieving a vaccine pass is slow or nonexistent. I am still waiting for a response beyond a form letter from the Excelsior pass support team, and it is notable that while the developer has responded to several reviews here, the developer has not responded to any complaints about unretrievable records. I don’t expect the state database to be perfect, but if it can’t be corrected to be accurate, the system is useless. It’s too bad, because this sort of app would be a great help for New Yorkers and businesses—if it worked.

    It has “reminded” me twice now - once a week ago and once this morning - that my “180 Day Vaccination Pass will expire in one week/tomorrow.” and tells me I can “retrieve [my] 365 Day Vaccination Pass now”. Four problems with that: 1) I have two passes stored - mine and an elderly relative’s. It doesn’t say which one they’re talking about 2) I can’t just use math to figure it out because it’s currently July 18 and one pass expires September 26 and the other October 20. The expiration warnings literally don’t add up. 3) There’s no way to retrieve that 365 day pass anyway. I’ve tried repeatedly, including before and after the last supposed update. It’s just not there. 4) Since when do we know that immunity extends for a full year anyway, especially with the Delta spike? I have time stamped pictures of both our vaccination cards, taken within hours of receiving both doses saved on my phone. I don’t see any advantage to using this app over the pictures. Such a waste.

    Was fine initially but pass expired? Now tells me data not found and link to report that doesn't work. The vaccine doesn't expire, poorly made app. Would be nice if someone fixed it.

    Why would the pass expire??? The vaccine in my arm doesn't expire... the app won't even let you reload the info.... just carry the vaccine card. USELESS!!

    My name is Lesley Andersen. I am usually called Les. Sometimes my first name is misspelled ‘Leslie’. Sometimes my last name is misspelled ‘Anderson’. When I tried to claim my pass I entered my full legal name. The app couldn’t find me. So then I tried the 5 other ways in which the various spellings of my first and last names could be combined. The app couldn’t find me. So then I tried just ‘L’ together with each of the possible spellings of my last name. The app couldn’t find me. So then I reached out to app’s help service. They advised be to try again, being careful to spell my name correctly. Are there people for whom this is actually useful advice? So then I gave up. Now fast forward a couple of months. Today I was scheduling an unrelated appointment on the website of Weill Cornell, from whom I had gotten my vaccine shots. While on this site I noticed that my first name was listed as ‘Lesley W’. W is my middle initial. Hmm. So I tried the app again, entering my first name as ‘Lesley W’. It worked perfectly. As a professional software developer, I am appalled by the lack of thought that apparently went into the design of this app. And as an ordinary citizen I am offended by a customer service response that says, in effect, ‘do it again and make sure you do it right”.

    Shame on these app developers! As an RN working in NYC through this pandemic, I was NOT impressed that this app can't find my vaccination records in the citywide immunization registry (CIR). I took this vaccine without hesitating to protect the vulnerable population I was caring for. The makers of this app are so sloppy and lazy that I can't use it. Shame on them for profiting off of this terrible product!

    This app not only functioned flawlessly, I was completely done in under 1 minute and had my pass generated literally immediately. Instantly. As fast as actually possible. It was amazing. And my pass is now added to my Apple Wallet. Using this was a breeze. It also doesn’t expire in a month as some folks have been saying. My pass is good for 1 full year. At which point I imagine I will need a new vaccination. Not that big of a deal.

    Worked perfectly for me. Unfortunately a lot of people are unable to find their info or are discovering a variety of errors made with the data entry of their info. Everyone has to remember that this is done by a government agency. Not the private sector. As such, they don’t have the brightest and the best working for them. Anything done by the government will have an abundance of issues and cost 5 times what it would if done by a private company. Be patient. They’ll get it all worked out within 5 years.

    Can't update. When update goes to Google Play only gives me option to open. So only back and forth with no update. Now what? BREAKING NEWS!!! When I opened the app it prompted me to upgrade. Upgrade took me to Google play and the only option was "open". Click OPEN again. Do that about 5 or 6 times and it will finally offer you the "upgrade". I just did it by accident. Hope this helps!!!

    Entered my son’s info for Excelsior Pass Plus , however the verification number they have is our old home phone number. We didn’t have that number for 3 months prior to my son’s vaccine and never used that number when my son got the vaccine. I even went back to the facility and they showed me that the only number entered was my current cell number. Somehow this app is pulling information & demographics from other/old sources. We would never use an old phone number. That old number is the only verification listed, not even my email is there. So I cannot not get the Pass Plus for my son, only the regular one which expires.

Today I was scheduling an unrelated appointment on the website of Weill Cornell, from whom I had gotten my vaccine shots. While on this site I noticed that my first name was listed as ‘Lesley W’. W is my middle initial. Hmm. So I tried the app again, entering my first name as ‘Lesley W’. It worked perfectly. As a professional software developer, I am appalled by the lack of thought that apparently went into the design of this app. And as an ordinary citizen I am offended by a customer service response that says, in effect, ‘do it again and make sure you do it right”.

    Shame on these app developers! As an RN working in NYC through this pandemic, I was NOT impressed that this app can't find my vaccination records in the citywide immunization registry (CIR). I took this vaccine without hesitating to protect the vulnerable population I was caring for. The makers of this app are so sloppy and lazy that I can't use it. Shame on them for profiting off of this terrible product!

    Had to wait an extra day to get the Excelsior pass app to work the first time I used the application where it made it seem like I already entered my information in and got blocked out. With the updated Excelsior Pass Plus version, I was vaccinated at a local facility not a state one so it doesn’t seem to work as it said it doesn’t have contact info even though I already obtained a regular excelsior pass already and it has all the correct information. Poor implementation of application and it does not seem useful at all. I submitted a request to report information online and it says I need to contact initial vaccination provider but the information is correct as I got the regular Excelsior pass already so I would be forced to use the existing CDC card if the Excelsior pass is not used but Excelsior Pass Plus is.
