  • Impossible loop? Good game otherwise!! Dec 11, 2019

    By User10895
I have been playing this over a few days, and it’s very addictive and fun, and and I have been enjoying it immensely. However, there are some circumstances in the game that I will press the “add” button to add more numbers, and it will only add two or three numbers that can’t be combined, that alternate (such as 2, 4, and 7, and it will keep repeating in different combinations of these three), forcing me to either keep pressing add, in which case I get the same numbers continually popping up, and not allowing me to actually make any moves because none of the numbers actually appear consecutively. This has occurred 4 times within the past few days, and it is frustrating for the game to put me in a position when I cannot make any moves. This seems like a bug, and I hope it can be dealt with. Also, I also agree with a previous review that there should be something added where it will tell you whether or not there are pairs left. As there does not seem to be a way I have found to easily “finish” the game or win, I feel that there is no need to be competitive with hints and such, and just as plenty of other games do, they bring in their audience by listening to them, and feeling stuck and not knowing whether there are pairs or not leaves me feeling frustrated.

I really like the idea, I just feel like it's too hard to clear rows, and you just end up with too many rows and not enough fulfillment, or a feeling of progress. I think being able to clear numbers diagonally as well would keep the game equally challenging and fair- just means players would have a better chance at knocking down rows of numbers

  • One BIG downside Apr 30, 2020

This app is great if you’re looking for a game to stretch your brain. It makes you think with puzzles that are challenging but not impossible. However there are loops that you can get stuck in if you eliminate all but a few numbers. This is manageable if you just make your moves carefully. Undos and hints help a lot, as such getting unlimited would be something I would love to do. The one thing that is stopping me is the price point. Rather than being a flat price it is a weekly subscription. Any subscription based payment is deterring as it’s an upkeep you have to mentally and financially manage. However that’s not the worst part. It is $10 every week. This price point is astronomical, even if it were monthly it would still be pushing the limit. I would love to see the prices adjusted to a more reasonable price point. Another complaint I have about the subscription is the lack of options for duration. The only option is weekly, this does give the customer more control however it also prevents any opportunity for bulk discounts. I throughly enjoy this game and would love to see an attainable price for a premium subscription. It plays smooth but the one aspect holding me back is the lack of available undos and hints unless you subscribe at a ridiculous price point or watch a video every two minutes. The game is wonderfully made but that one aspect is the only major downside I see.

such fun game! got confused of how the mechanism work the first 2 times but when I finally figured out the rest it's really really fun! it's just that everytime i paused for the 2nd time the game would not respond to any of the touch and darkens like i have my phone brightness at the most lowest possible, so i always have to: recent tabs-clear game-reopen & it's a bit laggy often times when im matching up between numbers. overall it's rly² fun tho i just wish i could enjoy it fully w/o the bugs

  • Great game, Some suggestions Jan 16, 2020

I really enjoy playing this game but there are still a few things that need to be worked out. Some of my suggestions are: -If I click on hint for it to tell me that there are no possible moves, that shouldn’t use up one of my hints. It would be nice just to have something automatically pop up when there are no possible moves. -I understand that when new numbers are added, they’re the same numbers that you already have on the field, but sometimes this results in an endless loop and unsolvable puzzle. I’d suggest adding a feature to shuffle the numbers that are already in the field. This could be something like the hint and undo buttons where you have to watch a short ad to shuffle your existing board. -I would love to pay to get unlimited hints without advertisements, but the fact that the premium version of the game is a subscription rather than a flat out purchase is deterring, and to be quite honest, overpriced for a game of this type where there isn’t a whole lot extra that you get for paying.

The game used to be with 5 stars even with the ads, but the newest update ruined it. You can't play forever in classic anymore and when you have no moves or too many rows it now trys to get you to start a new game. I had 72+ hours in one game and when the update hit it stopped my progress and said I had too many lines and no longer let me watch an ad for 3 hints it bumped it down to 2 and half the time says no ads available. Am super disappointed and will probably uninstall soon.

Ad hell. Need to have an in purchase no ad app option. Everytime my phone times out after 20 seconds it will make me watch an ad to play again. Everytime I go to change a song on my phone, I'm watching an ad again. So many ads it's annoying to even try and play. An ad just popped up for me to watch on the play store while I was writing this ad. The numberzilla creators must be rolling in the dough. The ads are unreal.

Immediately presented with an ad when I clicked on play in "classic mode", then asked to review the game. At this point, I haven't even played the game yet and they are throwing ads at me. There has not even been an exchange of game time for ads, the developers owe me money for sitting through those ads before I can even play the game.

The pros: This game is fun and super addictive. It’s hard to win but it doesn’t matter because the game play is very satisfying on its own. The cons: That being said there are some very big flaws. If you’re playing and get stuck you can use a hint but you have to watch an add to get a hint. Ok, but half the time the ads don’t load no matter how many times you hit that retry button. I like to clear the board as much as possible before adding numbers so I like the hints for checking my work. The same goes for the undo feature. I have to watch an add to get 3 free undo uses. Again, you can’t get them because the ads won’t load. The only workaround is to buy the hints and undos but it’s really expensive. There is an add free option with free features but you can’t buy it. If you want that, it’s gonna cost you 10 bucks A WEEK. That’s $520 a year to go ad-free. That is extreme. That’s more than I pay to insure my car for half a year. I would pay up to 10 bucks for permanent ad free. But no way in heck $520. Who has that just lying during this pandemic and unemployment time? It’s insanity. The game is good. It’s not $520 good. It’s a simple number puzzle that is relaxing and fun and challenging but I probably will delete it if they don’t fix these issues.

The game itself is fine, but the pop ups are damn near UNBEARABLE. can't go 2 moves without being asked to link to your Facebook/purchase hints/download another one of their games. They also come in groups of three, so you're just spamming the X button until you can actually play again. I'd recommend literally any other version of this game not published by these guys. There's bound to be copies somewhere with less instrusive self promotion and advertising.

I really was enjoying this game, but a couple of things. After I got the hang of it, things were going really well, but it wasn’t clear when or how I would “finish”. So after several hours (which I wasn’t crazy about seeing the time I spent on it being kept track of), I quit and started over. Then it wasn’t so fun. I kept getting the sequence of numbers with very few matches. Every time I quit and restarted, I’d get the same sequence of mostly unmatchable numbers. I’m thinking it’s a bug. I’m going to reinstall it. Hopefully that will help, because this was one of the most satisfying puzzle games I’ve played. Edit: I did this review too early, before I got the hang of it. In all three modes, the object is to clear the board(duh). But it takes strategy, which means you must carefully choose your matches, i.e., quality not quantity. When you hit add, you will only duplicate the numbers on the board. So if you remove all the 8s, for example, it reduces your ability to remove 2s, which may result in getting a sequence of numbers that will never have matches, no matter how many times you hit add. I highly recommend this game. BTW, the ads are super annoying; I would pay $2.99 to remove them, but there isn’t that option.

I'm enjoying this one, it's a good time killer - there are a couple things I'd change - the option to turn off the swipe match mode, I like the tap option and accidentally swipe a pair when I scroll through. Another thing I've noticed, I don't seem to get all numbers on a play board - I've now seen others saying the same - and the responses, it seems a lot of us would like the option to have all numbers included when we use the add button

  • Really addicting Feb 22, 2020

I was reading this review that said the repeating numbers would give them no opportunity to finish. I agree when that happens it is annoying but that is just what happens. I know how the adding numbers work, and I know that it’s a strategy game. The whole POINT is to be SMART ENOUGH to avoid those situations. There are also reviews that say “give me hints” and I think the point is to do it YOURSELF WITHOUT hints. Anyway I think this number game is SUPER FUN. The only problem I have (it’s minor) is how there are ads. I know that companies need to earn money but some people just want to enjoy the game. I know there is an option to remove ads but it costs money. Maybe there could be a way to shorten the amount of ads, or do a feature like “solve this and no ads for two hours.” That would be cool. Thank you for this ameowozeeng game!

I enjoy this app a lot. it challenges my brain. keeps me entertained for hours. but lately it’s been a lot of glitches. Every time i get onto the app it tries to get me to double click to purchase the $7.99 subscription when i just entered the app. also throughout the all the games it glitches and only will give me three numbers to play with, which causes me to win in like 3 seconds. So some minor glitches thats a little annoying to deal with. but overall this game is great. i always play it an hour before i go to because i have insomnia and this app works better than any medicine because it stimulates you mentality and works your brain without feeling like working. great app!

  • Fixed the Problem! Nov 13, 2020

Final update. This is my favorite game again. There was a problem with a recent update concerning the ads. The developer listened to the complaints and fixed it. THANK YOU! This game is highly addictive and great fun to play. Buy the ad free version. You won't regret it. 😊 Original post. This used to be my favorite game but I purchased “no ads” and I still have the ads. I had this game on my phone before and purchased “no ads” and there weren’t any. Is there a glitch in the program update? Please help! First Update. The developer is aware of the glitch and is working on this fix. (I appreciate their response.) If they fix it, I will update again and give the game 5 stars. Stay tuned!!

  • Addictive but how to win? Jan 19, 2020

    By Beautifulbrand
2nd UPDATE**It's official... I beat dynamic mode in just over 30 minutes. So yes you can win the game once you figure out the number sequencing logic of the add button. Now... Time to conquer that damned classic mode.** UPDATE**So... I just found a strategy that's working. Jolly tough game. Good job!*** I've read other reviews and your responses. You have a good start with this game for sure but you might REALLY want to consider the ever growing human need for gratification. People aren't used to playing a mobile puzzle for hours without winning, or losing for that matter. It quickly gets to the point where your initial intrigue fades to frustration and potentially the loss of desire to play at all. You might want to think of ways to adjust game play to build an ending into the game or a way to win that doesn't take hours upon hours.

  • Way Too Many Ads Mar 17, 2021

    By jordangelo
I like this game. I play it quite often. It’s relaxing and I enjoy it. But I will NEVER recommend this game to another person because there are more ads than I can describe. Every time you click something, there’s the fear of an ad. If I have to switch away from the app for a second to send a text or check an email, doesn’t matter how long you leave the app, there’s an ad when you switch back. At this point it’s become laughable how many ads there are. The option for ad-free is ABSURDLY expensive, especially for what this game offers. I have paid for ad-free experiences in other apps, but the cost is never this high. No one has that kind of money sitting around for a game. And if you do, you’re not playing this game. I don’t want to stop playing, but I am getting fed up dealing with these ads. Furthermore, MOST of the ads have volume you can’t control and force the app store to open. So, if you’re listening to music or tv while playing, you’re going to run into some annoying issues. Also, the game claims you can play forever, but I constantly run out of moves due to some kind of number limit on the board.

I would rate higher but just like the other reviews seems strange that there really is no way to win or completely solve the game. (Edit I have removed all the number from the field, but more times I have gotten two repeating numbers that can never be removed) Also way way too many ads! Ads for everything. Open app - ad! Add more numbers - ad! Shuffle - ad! Hint - ad! Ad just because you paused the game. I spend more time looking at ads than playing the game. Also they advertised zero ads for $7.99 and I thought zeros all together but it was just zero ads for hints. So don’t be like me and buy without really looking into what you’re buying. My fault. Edit-They responded to my review above, stating that the ads are there so everyone can play. I get that, thank you caption obvious! I’ve have similar game apps and none of them have as many ads as this one. I would have kept this game if the ads were refined to getting more hints, restarting the game or getting more move reversals.

Was 5 star now 3. Cannot understand why, if I leave the game for a period of time the score resets to zero each time. The clock carries on but the score shows zero each time I restart a game? 18th Feb I have experienced a few times, recently when the game resets to a new game. Very frustrating. 11/4/21 Why have you reduced the hints rewarded by watching an advert?

  • Kinda lame Apr 17, 2020

    By Dgdijcvn34(:8$!ndfi
I love the concept of this game and think it COULD be fun if the number additions were fixed. When I play classic I get big chunks (like 10ish rows) where every other number is 1, but there are no 9s. So there is literally nothing that can be done because you can’t remove any numbers to match the 1s, because every number that isn’t one is surrounded by 4 1s. And then in Dynamic mode, I got stuck after the first 3 rows were cleared as much as possible and clicked “Add”. It added 2 rows of numbers with absolutely no matches in them and no matches to the previous rows, even if I clicked the undo all and brought it all back. So I clicked “Add” again, and the same 2 rows just duplicated. Over and over and over. So there was literally nothing I could do to get pairs. There was no shuffle option. I tried exiting the game and going back in. It went in to the same game. So I just don’t have a way of playing dynamic mode now. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So after only about an hour of playing, I am just going to quit until the people who made this figure out these huge errors. I will check back after the next update.

  • Very fun, yet very frustrating Dec 31, 2019

This game is extremely fun! I love the concept and is so interesting for someone, like me, who has a number oriented brain. It’s an amazing way to chill after a hard day. However, it has come to my and others attention that this game is seemingly impossible to solve. The numbers generated often create an impossible loop to solve. I understand if the goal of the creators is to make a very hard game, but I’ve spent 5 hours on one game on classic mode and it seems to not be possible. This is extremely extremely frustrating and a huge downfall to this game. Another downside is the ads. If you click on the hint button you get shown an ad to get the hints, completely normal. However, the number of ads you get shown just in the game is ridiculous. It also frustrates me that the ads get rid of any background music you may be listing to. Also, as many others have said, the price for premium is a rip-off. That price genuinely makes me debate deleting the game. Developers, please take this advice from me and may others and make these much needed changes to the game.

Believe me when I say, I love this kind of game. The idea behind this game is excellent, but the executions isn't. It's too hard to finish a level, it makes you nauseous to see so much number to no end. So I just can give 2 stars for the idea, not the game itself.

Edit to my earlier good review: One ad after another. I watched an ad to get a prize. It paused my game, when I unpaused it, another ad. I had already watched an ad when I started the game. Guess I'll just delete this game, too. I don't mind ads, but one every 5 minutes is intrusive enough. One every move or every minute is ludicrous. Bye bye.

Yet another example of ad abuse and price gouging. Also, before you comment, it's easy enough to look up your revenue. Clearing $600k in a month when you're 5 apps probably are hosted with a margin of $300-500 in cost to maintain. Considering this is ultimately a medium complexity game that cost perhaps $125k to develop, and your games have been on market for some time now... You're clearing huge margins. So no, that many ads in a game or amount to turn them off is ridiculous.
