  • Remove Audio Description by Default - Bug Report Apr 22, 2020

    Please remove audio description feature by default or remember audio description setting from one movie or episode to the next. I use the audio description feature sometimes to hear how a screenplay of a particular scene would be written because of my interest in screenwriting. When the scene is over, I turn it audio description settings off because it gets annoying quickly. However, I’ve notice this feature has been turned on by default recently in the iOS app. I haven’t really noticed if it’s the same with the tvOs or website. I tried to turn the settings off and it worked but when the current (now playing) episode or movie ends, when the next episode or movie starts, the audio description feature turns back on. I had to turn it off for every episode each time. It was really frustrating at the point I had to paused the show and write this review. Honestly, this is not really a review. I hoping your development team would consider this at a bug report. It is annoying that audio description is turn on by default and you can’t turn it off permanently for future movies or episodes. Please fix. 😡

    I enjoy Netflix, I like the fact you don't need a good signal to stream 1080p shows but, whenever I tab out of the viewer to check a message or something and I come back the video freezes for exactly 10 seconds, audio will still be playing. also, on my old phone. I couldn't install Netflix via the app store for some reason. so I had to download it from the internet. it's these things that make me dislike the app, Netflix itself is amazing though and I've been using it for quite some time.

    I love Netflix and admittedly have things streaming far too often throughout the day. Everything works beautifully and it’s easy to search for what you’re looking for and the list of saved shows is fine too. My big issue, however, is with the currently watching area on the tv app, phone app, and website. Sure there are tons (and I mean TONS) of articles all over the web giving instructions on how to remove shows from the currently watching section that you no longer want to view, but Netflix it’s your job to provide an easier method for doing this. It’s unrealistic to expect people to go into their history and delete a millions episodes of a show just to get to the movies and whatever other shows they need to remove from that section. Just allow a space on the titles to remove them from that area. Especially for shows or movies that you try out and end up not liking. They stay there for months! Also, the app on tv plays the show or movie just when you’re trying to read the info about it and guess what?? That also adds that title to currently watching! Fix this issue please! It’s 2020! We shouldn’t have to google the hundreds of articles teaching people how to get around your archaic ways with this one thing. Do better, Netflix.

Also the price is quite high considering the lack of content that's actually watchable, Another area that needs vast improvement is the time it takes for new episodes and seasons to come onto the app.

    honestly, If you haven’t gotten Netflix, what are you waiting for?!? Every single of my favorite series EVER, have been found on Netflix!! The app is significantly easy to use, and my favorite part is their always adding more!! It’s really easy to find things that your interested in because the app takes what you have watched, and recommends similar options. Most Netflix originals are also genuinely very good! I do have two suggestions for somethings that could be implemented in the future. My first idea is that you could be able to follow other people. This way you could find out what your friends, family, or anyone else you know, is watching/interested in. You could find lots of great shows that you didn’t know about or watch before. My second thing is something that has been mentioned in other reviews, and that is an actual, legitimate teen section. And i’m not talking tv-7. I’m talking quality shows, PG13/TV14, stuff like that. I think both of these ideas could help improve Netflix in the future. That’s all I have! Overall, Netflix is a wonderful app, full of great selection, amazing viewing quality, and awesome shows, movies, documentaries, you name it

    Although I love the app it made my cable TV obsolete but there are few things that irritate me n making me shift to other apps. 1) I am having trouble with adding titles to my list even after I removed some titles from my list fearing it was full.     Dear Netflix, I love Netflix SO much but, I do think it needs some work. First, I think there should be a teen section. The kid section is too immature for teens while some of the things in the adult section are too mature. The PG-13 and PG-14 content should be in its own section. There are also some titles that are rated TV-MA that also don’t feature much inappropriate content that could be in the teens section. I think the teen section can feature cursing, kissing, and violence but no nudity. Second, I think you should be able to lock your profile because kids can enter the adults section very easily and watch something inappropriate. Also if you share your Netflix account with other people they can enter your account and watch shows which will then give you show recommendations that you aren’t interested in or mess up the shows your watching. Third, I think you should be able to delete shows you watched but didn’t like from your Continue Watching because then a long list of TV shows and movies will line up and I think you should be able to do it from ALL devices. Fourth, I think shows shouldn’t be removed as often as they are and more shows should be added to the kids section since, its not updated as frequently as the adults section.

    Guys I know your probably thinking:”I don’t know if I should download this app m maybe I should see the reviews.” Well look at this one, don’t look at anymore because, I’m here to convince you to get it, and tell you about the amazing movies you should watch after you download it. First off it’s not only movies you can watch, you can watch tv shows too, and they are awesome. Now some of them do include homosexuality and I don’t like that so I just skip the parts and of movies that have them, and please don’t judge me for saying that, anyhoo, there are some top notch movies here, like a thousand words, The Kissing Booth, The Kissing Booth 2,( trust me you GOTTA watch those two) and there are cool tv shows like, The Flash, Green Arrow, Legends of tomorrow, (then again these is just dc) Marlon, The Green House academy( if you really like teen tv dramas you will really like The Green House Academy!!) any way, you can also go to the search bar and you will see the things that most people that are interested in, like the movies and tv shows. And don’t worry because yes it has a continue watching section. And the last thing that I wanna say is that YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE 2 KISSING BOOTH MOVIES!!!!!!!!!!!! Bye

    Netflix is AMAZING!!!!!!! But the reason I rated it four star is because their are some certain movies and series of shows that it does not produce. Other than that it is a very good app and whoever made this app thank you! Amazing! If you have a child and the shows you are seeing are too advanced for them you can go back to their profile and select it as kids where it produces shows for under 12's.

    I think Netflix is really great. There are so many good shows and movies to choose from. It has really great service and there is almost never any lag. I do have questions about your rating system though. There is this one show called Demon slayer and on Netflix it is rated PG-14 but whenever I look it up everywhere else says it’s rated MA, and then there’s another show called Blue Exorcist and it’s rated MA on both Netflix and everywhere else, but there is actually little to no profanity in it and it’s actually less gory than shows like Demon Slayer. So what I’m getting to is your rating system seems broken, since it’s obvious your allowed to choose the rating of the shows on Netflix depending on what you see fit. It would also be nice if you went and reviewed some of the shows more closely and rated them better because what you call gory enough to be MA in one show is appropriate in another. And it would be really great if there was a teens option where you could put movies that are rated PG-13 or 14 since a lot of the shows in the kid’s section are for really little kids and when you’re on adults then you have access to some really inappropriate content.

    My charger is on the bottom of my phone, with volume controls on the left side. I like to have my volume buttons facing up when in landscape watching TV, so that I can easily adjust the volume. Used to be able to do this, now my Netflix app essentially plays upside-down, so my volume keys aren't easily accessible, and my charging cable must be awkwardly bent if I'm plugged in. My app position is not locked, but it still doesn't rotate or change at at all. Didn't used to be a problem. Annoying.

    I frequently have issues with the app. This never happened before. I followed the suggested troubleshooting for the "Can't connect to Netflix" error. When it did not work, I reinstalled the app. It went well...for a few hours, it then crashes whenever opened. I am using Android btw. No issues with my phone memory or internet connectivity. I hope you can help fix or check.

    This app was good until a Couple of weeks ago but now it's probably the worst app to go On because everytime I go watch something it freezes and the screen goes black but the audio is still there. The way I made it stop freezing temporarily is coming out of the app and refreshing the app. I would've gave this app a 5 star but it gets a 1 star for the terrible service I've been getting the past couple of weeks. Until this bug gets fixed my vote stays at 1 star. Hope this helps you fix the problem

    My issues with this app are not about streaming content, but lack of content for managing my account on my device. If there was any place where I should be able to manage my passwords and activity it should be on my device. My info (card, address, etc) is associated to my account. One can argue logging in via laptop/computer could be less secure. Especially if the web browser saves passwords and I am a user who never logs out on a computer that never locks. I at least have Two factor authentication on my phone. If I am already logged in, ask for my password or send an email to my account with a verification number. Just don’t completely strip away my ability to manage my account promptly. At the very least, I should be able to opt out/in on account management on my device via email, if necessary. This needs to be fixed. I receive phishing emails asking me to reset my password regularly. I would like to change it via app immediately, if I feel my password had been compromised. Rating may seem too low when everything else works well. However, security should be paramount to protect your users. There is no point having a service if that service does not have safety of its customers in mind. May as well make a walkway across the freeway.

    I used to have fun watching on this app. But apparently, this past few months I am having trouble watching because of this so-called "error" that I don't know what it is. I can't watch, even in downloads. I do everthing to fixed it like restarting my phone, updating the app, uninstalling and installing it again, and the worst thing I reset my phone, but damn it, everything I did does not work.

    I’ve noticed lately that Netflix has been taking down most of the anime shows and not being able to complete the shows; not uploading the episodes, and it has become annoying and upsetting. I do not find most of the shows entertaining, though there are a select few, Netflix lacks the ability to create entertaining shows and should build ideations of a well constructed plot that grasps the attention of the audience, but like I said there are some that are interesting shows. If Netflix would be more open to new ideas or suggesting new genres, then the business of entertainment could attract more viewers. Netflix should include more anime and shows that can make an individual feel emotionally attached to a character or relate to the character, if Netflix attempts to do so it will benefit the company in a successful manner. What people look forward in shows is, Acting that makes the audience feel as if they are in or apart of the show and the quality or how the show was able to create a film that has much dedication and deep meaning, something that makes people motivated or question their life in a positive affect. Overall it has become increasingly boring and people are craving entertainment, if you cannot provide that well I’ll let you figure that out on your own...

    I can’t stand browsing through titles anymore looking for something interesting. If I pause too long I have to deal with the noise and video loop. Music/noise is worse, but give option to stop both. Why must one click done and then ok after entering ratings passcode override? 2 steps? It wasn’t great, but the app with older apple tvs was better at inputting passcode even before the added step. Why with the TVOS app can I not always see all of the description of a specific episode or movie including language spoken when scrolling through episodes. I like scrolling through episodes current way better then old way where i didnt even know what season I looking at unless i scrolled to top. Just allow ability to get all the info. Put back a way to better exclude things on main menu I will never watch. For example I only like stand up comedy in a club with a group of people watching together live I will never watch stand up comedy on Netflix so please quit showing them to me. Others may love them. Make it easier for both of us. I have tried to give thumbs down over and over. You used to be better at putting shows in menu I may want to watch without searching or being hidden by a ton of stuff i will never watch. Non-app issue. Quality Content has been lacking.

    Honestly, this app hardly works (even when it is newly updated.) When you pause your downloaded video and then close your phone and go back to the video you can either get a error from 5.7 to 2.117 or device failure please restart your phone. That's one reason why this is a low rating. I cant do anything with this app. If there were other companies that were as big as netflix I swear to god their app wouldn't be this BAD. You guys need to step your game up.

    Android for TV sucks in many ways, including of lack of app rating. So this is review is for this app on android tv. We can't enjoy watching in OUR prefered language, even though it's available in other regions of the world. So u end up reading or listening in a foreigne language and miss a part. Try to rewind a movie 5-10 sec and u get past a minute. ANNOYING?! Algorithms to recomend movies are AWFUL. Search SUCKS. Categories- suck. No way to opt out series. No way we can narrow search. More

    So many options and their original shows are improving and becoming so interesting. Especially the kids movies. Egyptian dubbing for the animated movies was excellent and was so Iovely. I hope they continue to do it. I wish they add Arabic dubbed for all kids shows and movies.Especially some of them already have arabic dub. At least make it easier to search for dubbed shows and movies.

    Hello I wanted to email Netflix about a idea I had about the show Avatar the last Airbender but I can’t because they don’t think my idea is good enough you can look up “how to email Netflix about ideas” it will tell you everything. Anyways my idea that I wanted to send to Netflix is how I think instead of having 3 seasons of the show I was just talking about they would turn the comic books into episodes so people like me who don’t like to read even if there is pictures will still be able to enjoy the series. I mean we still are paying our monthly fee so you won’t have a problem with money and it will make a lot of people happy like just ask people who like and watched Avatar the last Airbender and they will say they would have rather had a lot more seasons of said show than Legends of Korra even though I would still like to keep 👆🏻this show. I hope you read this and actually think about it I mean ask TikTok and Twitter. Also one more thing let the fans send in ideas it’s kinda of rude it’s like your saying “Your opinion doesn’t matter!!” When as a consumer it does. Have a good day bye!💕

    Hi, I typically use the app a lot and I think it’s perfect on how its from kids to adults to teenagers etc but since I stopped using it I would think to myself hey I should catch up on this show but it wouldn’t let me go into the app and if it did I wouldn’t be aloud to go onto anybody’s profile not even my brothers. This was very disappointing so I reset my iPad it worked for 5 minutes and broke again. I reset my games and it removed the pictures from apps I had recently been on it’s fixed now but at this point I thought it was a waist of storage so I deleted it I wondered if I could delete it and re download the app to see if it works I tried downloading the app again and it wouldn’t work I’m not gonna lie I tried it on multiple apps but I couldn’t download any I’m very mad and disappointed but there is nothing I can do I’m just a 10 year old after all. So yup that’s my only problem it could be a bug or just something going on with my device but I really wanted to watch some Netflix so if it is a bug or something I hope it will get fixed soon. Bye!

    Please Netflix don’t do this to me, no not just me, EVERYONE who has ever watched and loved the office, your letting nbcUniversal take The Office back. You spent Millions upon millions of dollars just to get Friends back. Why not do the same for The Office. I guarantee, you will lose tons of people to UniversalNBC just because of one show. One Amazing spectacular show that makes me excited to get home and kick my shoes off. But just the thought of The Office leaving Netflix really gives me a stomach ache. I mean come on, it’s your most popular show and I legit will have nothing to do with my life. Half the reason I bought Netflix was for The Office, and now, well, I might just not renew my Netflix, and maybe millions of people might to.     The app and the video player is overall excellent. There was a frequent popping up while I had the app on my previous 2GB ram phone, it came written as something like "error playing 406801...blah blah" It had me annoyed but anyways It provides fantastic shows with lesser payment and also allows its user to watch every single show unlike Disney+ who restricts the user for 90% of the shows because they don't have premium account of 1500 rupees per year.

    For all y’all cobra kai fans out there that want to know some things about season 4. Well, you are reading the right review. I think I might know something that will happen in season 4 of cobra Kai that you may or may not know. If you guessed a new couple then you are right! There might be some new karate lovers that love each other. Let’s go to season 3, Tori and Robbie had a little bit of time spent together. They started getting a little buddy-buddy if you know what I mean;). So in season 4, they might hit it off a bit. Like it was Sam and Miguel, then Sam and Robbie while Miguel and tori also, so why not throw in a little Tori and Robbie together in the dish. So it is pretty clear that Robbie and Tori have to get together at some point of the Cobra Kai timeline. So Netflix, I really hope you read my last review tho. I spend a lot of time on these so I hope people like my reviews. Also people are saying that Hawk’s hair will be orange but, for some reason I think his hair will be green, I saw it in my head and thought that it would be SICK!     Please remove audio description feature by default or remember audio description setting from one movie or episode to the next. I use the audio description feature sometimes to hear how a screenplay of a particular scene would be written because of my interest in screenwriting. When the scene is over, I turn it audio description settings off because it gets annoying quickly. However, I’ve notice this feature has been turned on by default recently in the iOS app. I haven’t really noticed if it’s the same with the tvOs or website. I tried to turn the settings off and it worked but when the current (now playing) episode or movie ends, when the next episode or movie starts, the audio description feature turns back on. I had to turn it off for every episode each time. It was really frustrating at the point I had to paused the show and write this review. Honestly, this is not really a review. I hoping your development team would consider this at a bug report. It is annoying that audio description is turn on by default and you can’t turn it off permanently for future movies or episodes. Please fix. 😡

    Netflix is AMAZING!!!!!!! But the reason I rated it four star is because their are some certain movies and series of shows that it does not produce. Other than that it is a very good app and whoever made this app thank you! Amazing! If you have a child and the shows you are seeing are too advanced for them you can go back to their profile and select it as kids where it produces shows for under 12's.

    Why is it so difficult for you guys to add the option to read viewer written reviews which are available only through using the browser version of Netflix? At times it seems like Netflix has some type of agenda to limit the chances of any of their productions from getting any kind of negative or honest viewer feedback. And one of the biggest actions Netflix did to prove my point is making the ridiculous and obvious mistake of getting rid of the 5 star review system which helped fine tune which movies were recommended for us. Some of us like my entire family for example had each perfectly fine tuned the movie recommendation algorithm after working hard to submit honest ratings for every single Netflix streaming movie we'd watched for multiple years (since Netflix first started offering its streaming service). And then without even asking for its customers opinion on the matter it just gets rid of the entire rating system and implements the useless thumps up or down rating! If Netflix ends up falling from the heights it's reached it will only be because of their lack of common curtesy and respect towards its customers feedback.

    I always enjoyed Netflix for most of my life, and there is some pretty neat shows and movies on it. My most favorite show on the app is Green Eggs and Ham, for it is pure genius, and this is where I tell you about the one little problem in here. So, a year ago, somewhere in November of 2020 that is, Netflix was supposed to have the second season of Green Eggs and Ham available to watch on. But for some reason, it did not release, which was pretty disappointing. But then, this year, it was announced that the second season will premiere on Netflix on February 2nd. I found all this info on Google, probably before that day. So yeah, on that day, I went to Netflix to start watching it, but I found no second season of that show. As soon as I saw this, I was very disappointed, but then I thought, maybe it will still come the next day, which I did wait for. But the next day, the second season was still not there. And now it has been nearly a week since this has happened, and it is still not available yet. I know you are all probably pretty busy at the moment, but could you please have season 2 of Green Eggs and Ham on your app as soon as possible? Thank you!

    Their seems to be a bug that’s doesn’t allow my continue watching to update, meaning that if I finish a show or start a new one the show I have started doesn’t appear and if I finish a movie or a show it doesn’t go away. Also if I am watching a show it doesn’t update so I’ll be on episode 13 and it’ll say I’m still on episode 11 and it’s very annoying. Please do an update to fix this issue. It’s not just my account either it’s my whole families accounts that is having this problem and a lot of other people online that I have seen while looking up a solutions to solve this issue. I have called and talked to two customer service representatives and neither one of them could help me both of them practically blamed me and said that maybe it was because I was going on another account but I’m not I’m only using my account. But anyway this is my last resort to get in touch with the company and to possibly have this issue resolved, so could you please update the app soon. Thank you much appreciated and other than that small issue I have no other problems with the app I love Netflix and so do my friends and family.

    Great shows great movies. But you have to update seems like every week or it takes FOREVER to load. And of course it takes FOREVER when updating. Also I want to throw something through the tv when it asks me if I'm still watching netflix. OF COURSE I'm still watching. If I wasnt I would turn it off. That is such an annoying thing. Seems small.     This review is mainly about Netflix original series. Most of them are really good! They have cool ideas for shows and spare no expense getting some of the best in Hollywood. The problem is Netflix puts out too many too fast. Viewers can not keep up so shows might not get watched for years after they were created. Therefore Netflix doesn’t get the feedback fast enough about what viewers like and dislike. Shows that are really good end up getting canceled and shows that are not good continue. No one likes getting hooked on a show, watching a few seasons, then it just ends with no explanation only to find out it was canceled last year! Example...Santa Clarita Diet. Great show with the perfect cast. Invested 3 seasons to find out Netflix canceled it almost 1 year ago. Just seems like if Netflix focused more on quality instead of quantity when it comes to their originals, viewers would have a much better experience. Other than that, Netflix is awesome. But, you don’t want to disappoint viewers or waste $ on shows being canceled or never taking off when viewers have a lot more options these days.

    I enjoy Netflix, I like the fact you don't need a good signal to stream 1080p shows but, whenever I tab out of the viewer to check a message or something and I come back the video freezes for exactly 10 seconds, audio will still be playing. also, on my old phone. I couldn't install Netflix via the app store for some reason. so I had to download it from the internet. it's these things that make me dislike the app, Netflix itself is amazing though and I've been using it for quite some time.

    I love Netflix and admittedly have things streaming far too often throughout the day. Everything works beautifully and it’s easy to search for what you’re looking for and the list of saved shows is fine too. My big issue, however, is with the currently watching area on the tv app, phone app, and website. Sure there are tons (and I mean TONS) of articles all over the web giving instructions on how to remove shows from the currently watching section that you no longer want to view, but Netflix it’s your job to provide an easier method for doing this. It’s unrealistic to expect people to go into their history and delete a millions episodes of a show just to get to the movies and whatever other shows they need to remove from that section. Just allow a space on the titles to remove them from that area. Especially for shows or movies that you try out and end up not liking. They stay there for months! Also, the app on tv plays the show or movie just when you’re trying to read the info about it and guess what?? That also adds that title to currently watching! Fix this issue please! It’s 2020! We shouldn’t have to google the hundreds of articles teaching people how to get around your archaic ways with this one thing. Do better, Netflix.

    Netflix needs to allow their subtitles to be adjusted in colour and font as they don't show up cleanly in some movies/shows and it's hard to keep up with the flow of the conversations. Also the price is quite high considering the lack of content that's actually watchable, Another area that needs vast improvement is the time it takes for new episodes and seasons to come onto the app.

    Although I love the app it made my cable TV obsolete but there are few things that irritate me n making me shift to other apps. 1) I am having trouble with adding titles to my list even after I removed some titles from my list fearing it was full. It says added to my list but when I go back to the titles it shows as not added. 2) My list keeps getting randomly mixed and shuffled so sometimes it's hard to find a particular title and I can't sort them according to date added or name. Pls help!

    Dear Netflix, I love Netflix SO much but, I do think it needs some work. First, I think there should be a teen section. The kid section is too immature for teens while some of the things in the adult section are too mature. The PG-13 and PG-14 content should be in its own section. There are also some titles that are rated TV-MA that also don’t feature much inappropriate content that could be in the teens section. I think the teen section can feature cursing, kissing, and violence but no nudity. Second, I think you should be able to lock your profile because kids can enter the adults section very easily and watch something inappropriate. Also if you share your Netflix account with other people they can enter your account and watch shows which will then give you show recommendations that you aren’t interested in or mess up the shows your watching. Third, I think you should be able to delete shows you watched but didn’t like from your Continue Watching because then a long list of TV shows and movies will line up and I think you should be able to do it from ALL devices. Fourth, I think shows shouldn’t be removed as often as they are and more shows should be added to the kids section since, its not updated as frequently as the adults section.

    It's great once it actually loads correctly. The problem I've been having is that every time I click on an episode or movie, it will freeze a few seconds in. It will continue the audio, but pause the visuals. I used to fix it by going back 10 seconds and when it gets right before the pause, open "Episodes" for a few seconds and then go back. This doesn't work anymore. I've also tried reloading the app, clearing cache, force stop. It just doesn't work anymore.

    The app and Netfix in general work just fine. Never had any service issues. My problem is that it's just the same stuff over and over again. Yeah they add things, but rarely do they add anything really good. I like quite a lot of the Netflix originals, but no point in getting invested because they all get cancelled in 1-3 seasons. Anything not cancelled takes a year before getting a couple new episodes. The more well known shows I watch are the same things I watched a year ago. So boring now.

    App and service work fine. I am getting disappointed in the movie selections. Many of the Netflix Original Series and Movies are good. Some of the foreign films are amazing. Also has at least one or two TV series in each genre from traditional network channels. But very few well-known Hollywood movies recently. So I feel fine exploring the selection on my own, but am hesitant putting on a movie with my family.

    This app is amazing but the shows and movies that Netflix are adding..are getting less enjoyable. I enjoyed the shows and movies you had back then. Some examples like F.r.i.e.n.d.s, Coraline, Suicide Squad, and Beauty and the Beast. Those are only a few. The newer shows snd movies y’all are adding just don’t catch my attention. Im sure other people agree with me as well. Also, some of the shows that y’all have, don’t have all the seasons. That just bothers me so much because I think it only has that amount of seasons, but it turns out that it doesn’t. So I just watched that show for no reason, and sometimes I really, really, really like the show and can’t seem to find it anywhere else in order to watch it. I really hope y’all consider putting some older shows/movies that were on Netflix back, or consider trying to put more seasons or all the seasons on the shows, and finally, consider putting some other shows on like Law and Order. That’s really the only one. I really like the show, I sometimes watch it on T.V but the ads always ruin it and I would want to watch it in order. Thank you Netflix, if you do consider trying some of the stuff I said. (:

    My issues with this app are not about streaming content, but lack of content for managing my account on my device. If there was any place where I should be able to manage my passwords and activity it should be on my device. My info (card, address, etc) is associated to my account. One can argue logging in via laptop/computer could be less secure. Especially if the web browser saves passwords and I am a user who never logs out on a computer that never locks. I at least have Two factor authentication on my phone. If I am already logged in, ask for my password or send an email to my account with a verification number. Just don’t completely strip away my ability to manage my account promptly. At the very least, I should be able to opt out/in on account management on my device via email, if necessary. This needs to be fixed. I receive phishing emails asking me to reset my password regularly. I would like to change it via app immediately, if I feel my password had been compromised. Rating may seem too low when everything else works well. However, security should be paramount to protect your users. There is no point having a service if that service does not have safety of its customers in mind. May as well make a walkway across the freeway.

    My charger is on the bottom of my phone, with volume controls on the left side. I like to have my volume buttons facing up when in landscape watching TV, so that I can easily adjust the volume. Used to be able to do this, now my Netflix app essentially plays upside-down, so my volume keys aren't easily accessible, and my charging cable must be awkwardly bent if I'm plugged in. My app position is not locked, but it still doesn't rotate or change at at all. Didn't used to be a problem. Annoying.

    I frequently have issues with the app. This never happened before. I followed the suggested troubleshooting for the "Can't connect to Netflix" error. When it did not work, I reinstalled the app. It went well...for a few hours, it then crashes whenever opened. I am using Android btw. No issues with my phone memory or internet connectivity. I hope you can help fix or check.

    This app was good until a Couple of weeks ago but now it's probably the worst app to go On because everytime I go watch something it freezes and the screen goes black but the audio is still there. The way I made it stop freezing temporarily is coming out of the app and refreshing the app. I would've gave this app a 5 star but it gets a 1 star for the terrible service I've been getting the past couple of weeks. Until this bug gets fixed my vote stays at 1 star. Hope this helps you fix the problem

    Netflix is a good streaming platform, but the problem I have been having for the last couple of days, even after I updated the app, is that when I start to watch whatever I'm watching, the screen freezes up but the audio continues. Please fix this immediately. If fixed I will give five stars.

    I used to have fun watching on this app. But apparently, this past few months I am having trouble watching because of this so-called "error" that I don't know what it is. I can't watch, even in downloads. I do everthing to fixed it like restarting my phone, updating the app, uninstalling and installing it again, and the worst thing I reset my phone, but damn it, everything I did does not work.

    I’ve noticed lately that Netflix has been taking down most of the anime shows and not being able to complete the shows; not uploading the episodes, and it has become annoying and upsetting. I do not find most of the shows entertaining, though there are a select few, Netflix lacks the ability to create entertaining shows and should build ideations of a well constructed plot that grasps the attention of the audience, but like I said there are some that are interesting shows. If Netflix would be more open to new ideas or suggesting new genres, then the business of entertainment could attract more viewers. Netflix should include more anime and shows that can make an individual feel emotionally attached to a character or relate to the character, if Netflix attempts to do so it will benefit the company in a successful manner. What people look forward in shows is, Acting that makes the audience feel as if they are in or apart of the show and the quality or how the show was able to create a film that has much dedication and deep meaning, something that makes people motivated or question their life in a positive affect. Overall it has become increasingly boring and people are craving entertainment, if you cannot provide that well I’ll let you figure that out on your own...

    I can’t stand browsing through titles anymore looking for something interesting. If I pause too long I have to deal with the noise and video loop. Music/noise is worse, but give option to stop both. Why must one click done and then ok after entering ratings passcode override? 2 steps? It wasn’t great, but the app with older apple tvs was better at inputting passcode even before the added step. Why with the TVOS app can I not always see all of the description of a specific episode or movie including language spoken when scrolling through episodes. I like scrolling through episodes current way better then old way where i didnt even know what season I looking at unless i scrolled to top. Just allow ability to get all the info. Put back a way to better exclude things on main menu I will never watch. For example I only like stand up comedy in a club with a group of people watching together live I will never watch stand up comedy on Netflix so please quit showing them to me. Others may love them. Make it easier for both of us. I have tried to give thumbs down over and over. You used to be better at putting shows in menu I may want to watch without searching or being hidden by a ton of stuff i will never watch. Non-app issue. Quality Content has been lacking.

    Honestly, this app hardly works (even when it is newly updated.) When you pause your downloaded video and then close your phone and go back to the video you can either get a error from 5.7 to 2.117 or device failure please restart your phone. That's one reason why this is a low rating. I cant do anything with this app. If there were other companies that were as big as netflix I swear to god their app wouldn't be this BAD. You guys need to step your game up.

    Android for TV sucks in many ways, including of lack of app rating. So this is review is for this app on android tv. We can't enjoy watching in OUR prefered language, even though it's available in other regions of the world. So u end up reading or listening in a foreigne language and miss a part. Try to rewind a movie 5-10 sec and u get past a minute. ANNOYING?! Algorithms to recomend movies are AWFUL. Search SUCKS. Categories- suck. No way to opt out series. No way we can narrow search. More
