Ministry of Human Resource Development under its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology has initiated the National Digital Library of India (NDL India) pilot project to develop a framework of virtual repository of learning resources with a single-window search facility. Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find out the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDL India is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for leading vernacular languages. It is being arranged to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular form of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is being developed to help students to prepare for entrance and competitive examination, to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources.

Sep 4, 2020 I'm very looking forward to some good reading app which contains all kind of stuff either it's related to course study or just for fun. Which I think this app have but the slow and not so user friendly interface lacks sometimes. I've not received the email for account sign-up which is very disappointing . I hope you guys did something about that. To keep it more efficient and effective in a good way.more -

I type in one thing and I receive such irrelevant results that I have to scroll 5 times before getting one thing of interest. Also, why is IIT Bombay's copper-plating methods showing up in the Philosophy/Psychology section? Why haven't the tags and assortment been paid attention to? Apart from that, I find it easy to use.more

As if I search for something than many results are shown and with it I get confused a bit which I was searching for. Fix it. Other all things were good including the support material. 👍🏻👍🏻Keep updating it will definitely reach many students.more -
Jan 24, 2019 App is full of awesome contents.But i deducted 2 stars due to following reasons- 1.Some of the content is incomplete i.e.all volumes are not available.Please update regularly. 2.Make sure that the link of the given content is working.Some of the link is not working properly.Fix the problem kindly. 3.Sometimes the app suddenly crashes when trying to open a content. 4.In some contents the author name,number of page,size,and the title is not mentioned properly. 5.App speed is a little bit slow.more

Sep 17, 2018 Nothing loads, the app keeps crashing, doesn't utilise available internet connections so there's a constant connection timeout error. In short, the app is not at all usable. Developer needs to make serious improvements so that people can actually use it.more

Oct 20, 2020 It has destitute visuals. And also I am not able to download the pdf of book biomechanics by Fung, Y.C. A very lame way to verify our emails. I am recommending that to improve visuals of the app as well as of the pdfs and also the verification process.more

FOR THOSE WHO CAN'T LOG IN 1st sign up with new account, then they'll say that they've sent verification mail but it doesn't come so go back and click at account recovery, then it'll send you mail for account recovery then you Change your password and try log in through the app, it helped me

What’s Subpar
Hard to search any book 📚. You will find a lot of books or topic instead of what did you searched. Need to classify the books by their topic/Subject or Catagory. I faced this aap at least 4 times in last 3 years. Everytime I uninstalled the app in the hope of imprisonment without rating. But today I did... Because there is no improvement. Thank you IIT KHARAGPUR.

Can't download or view any book .. first of all i tried to download the desired book but that hasn't downloaded then i tried to download any random book but same result . It goes on chrome for view or download the book and there's always error

App crashed while login time. I was entered login credentials after showing login again then I click on the login button then it was crashed

I waste my time only on finding the subjects. Instead of going there, I think I should search that content on YouTube or Google. This is completely time wasting. The matter, first, needs to download and then you can open it. It looks like that : first you invest and then you check whether you invest rightly or wrongly. It requires too much preparation and improvements before launching.

so it won't go past the 'loading' screen. occasionally the app asks me to 'check my internet'. my net works fine. I thinks there's an internal issue with the app. have a look please. the concept of this app is really good. although I can't really rate it because I haven't used it
