  • My psychiatrist loved this app Jan 28, 2020

    By swandea
I got on Zoloft 4 months ago and downloaded MyTherapy as a pill reminder. That feature is great, but being able to download reports and the chart it generates in PDF form is awesome. Especially the way you can track symptoms (and try to determine correlations, which is exactly what I wanted). My mood leveled out after 2 months on Zoloft and you could see that readily in the chart. It definitely made an impact on my psychiatrist for understanding if the medication was working for me and if I should stay on it or switch. He is going to share my anonymous charts to his colleagues and recommend the app to his patients. I also love the UI/UX. Very spartan, fast, easy to use and adapt to my own needs. Thank you, MyTherapy.

Wonderful! Exactly what I was looking for to remind me to take vitamins and do my physical therapy multiple times a day. It's great how it can keep track of the number of pills I have left and remind me to buy more. ONE SUGGESTION: Add the ability to snooze all upcoming reminders for x minutes, this would be helpful for when I am away from home. It's still a five star app for me even with out that feature as I can snooze individual ones as they come up. Thanks for the awesome app. 😊

This app is amazing. I am on so many different medications and injections that it’s difficult to keep up with them. This app reminds me to take them by setting an alarm. It even reminds me of an injection that I take every two weeks. I also love that it reminds you of how many pills you have left and alerts you as to refill them. Once you take your medication, you click on the confirm sign! No more wondering whether or not you took your meds. I love this app. It has saved me a lot of stress.

I love this app except for one thing, every ten minutes it goes off telling me I can personalize my notifications. I have already personalized my notifications so I find this quite annoying. It almost makes it seem like "the boy who cried wolf" with the alarm going off all the time sometimes you ignore it because you think it's another alarm to tell you to personalize your notifications. Developers...please fix this annoyance.

I’m at the start of my experience with this app, and I’m pretty optimistic about how well it’s going to be able to track my medication schedule. One of the things I like the most is how you can set a custom medication cycle. I have one medication that goes 10 days on and 20 days off that a different app couldn’t handle. But it isn’t perfect. I have to make a certain body measurement twice within a 30-day cycle: on day 1 and on day 10. The app can’t handle this. I’m going to have to set up two asynchronous 30-day cycles just to make it work. I wish the cycle setting for reminders was more nuanced.

Everything was great until a push notifications stared appearing every 5 min telling me to set an alarm for pill refill, I dismissed the notification 5 minutes later it appeared again, and then I set an alarm to see if that would stop the notification but it didn't. I couldn't find a way to shut those reminders so I had to uninstall.

*Please allow custom symptoms* Very impressed, but! One important missing feature, and it might be a deal breaker for me. The limitations on symptoms under 'symptom check' make no sense.. You can have the current list as suggestions AND allow a small button for 'custom' or 'other' symptoms without changing anything. The list is short and lacks key symptoms/side effects in many categories.. I love everything else and will be happy to change my rating :)

I like this app. It is easy and intuitive to use, my medication is simple so no real stress testing. One thing that does really bother me (and why I am docking 3 whole stars) is that there is no option of inputting custom symptoms. I am switching up hormonal medication so tracking my emotional well-being is important. I wish I could just put in something more specific than "joylessness" or "depressive mood". Also, I'd like to input multiple symptoms at once! The menu closes after every input!

I don't know how this app has such a high rating. It works perfect one minute and then I had a problem with adding a medication because it didn't remember it and wouldn't pop up on the drop down menu. So everytime I added a medication it was a separate name even tho it was the same name listed and it restarted my counts for the month everytime. I uninstalled the app and cleared the cache and signed back in to my account and lost everything I recorded previously. Had to do this twice now.

Started OUT ok. However I realized that it loses track of input for mornings sometimes. So I record the medication time given along with symptoms I track. When I go back in evening for twice a day medications it will show nothing entered for morning on some days. TERRIBLE if accuracy is important. I have found that I can't trust the listing of medications given. It has gotten worse lately, so maybe it doesn't work with the latest ver of ANDROID

I love being able to track my medications, but I especially love the fact that I can track my temperature. I work in health care and I am required to log my temperature every day. I wish it would remember ALL of my medications instead of only a few when I log one of my as needed medications. Sometimes I don't type in the name of the medication exactly as I did before, so I am stuck with a new entry on my progress chart. I take quite a few medications, so the progress page gets quite long.

Love this app. Works well, reminders are easy to personalise and you can scan your meds to find them. Love the monthly report you can email to yourself as a pdf, useful for check ups!

  • Would love more interaction for “my team” Jul 27, 2020

I love the app and it’s been super helpful in reminding me to take my medication. However the my team aspect of the app is lacking and there are a few features I wish it would give for them send my team or members on my team a notification if I don’t record taking my medication by a certain time. send my team a reminder if medication is running low and allow them to register it as refilled. Let my team see and manage my appointments, measurements, and symptoms. Give me options to turn these on and off for each member of my team individually. If these were added to the app it would be super helpful for me and ‘my team’, and I would without hesitation recommend this app to both my grandmothers to use with the people in their households. Thanks for the amazing app!

Helps me take timely care of my bedridden mother. No longer do I need a notebook to maintain her medicine chart and manually enter the timings of administration. The app also automatically keeps a track of the inventory of medicines that are being used on a daily basis. It also enables me to get a graphical picture of her vital stats, that i record daily. However it lags behind in some areas. The database for blood tests is incomplete. Also I cannot make new rules and entries as required.

Pretty good app. For the last month, it's been glitchy about the reminder. If I snooze, it accepts my update, but then flags as overdue again 2 mins later. Plz fix. 2 suggestions:. 1) Be able to select time to set snooze instead of number if hours. Can only snooze for 3hrs max, so this is annoying when I need a 4hr gap if I take late. 2) Be able to manually adjust times for the remainder of doses rest of that day. If I take one late, they'll all be late. Thanks!

EDIT: I contacted the listed email and was told this function is only available on iPhone, not Android. Really love this app. Makes reminders for meds soo easy and the snooze function is great. I really wish that there was the ability to create my own task. Example: I have a reminder to do my squats every morning. There is no way for me to create my own activity that says "Squats" so I have to use "Climbing" as it's the closest thing to it. I would love if I could name a personalized task.

While otherwise excellent, it has one flaw that costs it two stars; it's a focus-stealing, screen-locking, jealous app that doesn't play nice with other apps. For instance, if you're driving when it goes off, there goes your GPS. Or if your phone has a PIN, it may be difficult to unlock your phone.

  • A good scheduler, but not adaptable Feb 23, 2020

    By SweetSammyJane
I got this after surgery because I was having trouble remembering when I took my meds last. I like that you are able to set a schedule based on frequency and duration. Where it fails is if you set it for 4 times a day (for example: 5am,11am,5pm,11pm) and you are late getting a dose, it doesn’t change the reminder time. Example: I am not able to take the 11 am dose till 1230pm. It doesn’t change the time of the next dose to 830, it will only remind me at 5.

I am having a little difficulty understanding the times they have in the medication setup vs the progress charts and lists. In my world a day starts at 12AM and ends at 11:59:59PM. However, when I add a medication and a frequency of every X hours, it only allows me to put it in from 4AM until 3AM the next day. But when I am tracking that entry in the progress list it shows by the “date” (from 12AM until 11:59:59PM). They should reflect one another the same. The medication entry should be for that day like the progress list is. Another thing that I do not care for is the fact that even though I may be on a schedule for something such as a pain med, I find there are times I need to take an extra one outside of my regular schedule and cannot find a way of adding that extra dose to the progress list. Therefore, my inventory becomes inaccurate. A small other annoyance is that I cannot choose my own notification sound. In conclusion it is a good app for reminding you to take your meds or check your blood pressure. But it is not powerful enough to have any control over off-schedule extra dosages, proper daily tracking history or customization. The app would be rather perfect if the following would be observed. 1. All medication entries should be for the day in question. 12AM until 11:59PM to correspond to the medication tracking on the progress tab. 2. We have the ability to skip a dosage but we should also have the ability to add an additional dosage within a schedule that was not scheduled. 3. It would be a nice bonus if we could select our own custom notification sound.

  • More than I wanted, too complex for me. May 7, 2020

    By Stepinwolf
I was looking for something to replace the broken Apple reminders that I used to use to remind me to take my morning meds, my noon meds, my evening meds and my bed time meds. I don’t want something that wants to document the specific medications. There are too many of those. I just need a check list. I may resort to pencil and paper.

Was working well for a couple months. Now, the reminders cannot be 'silenced'. You have the option to delay your notification from 30 minutes to 2 hours, or skip it altogether. The 'delay' function seems to work when it wants to. For example, I have a reminder for 9am. Sometimes, if I'm busy, I'll select 'snooze/delay' for 30 minutes, or an hour. Five minutes later, the reminder goes off. I can keep 'delaying' the alarm, but it doesn't seem to work any more. Very annoying, especially if I'm on a conference call, or in a meeting. I'm going to uninstall this and try another app.
