The exercises are well thought out. The interface is simple and well constructed. I never encounter any performance issues. I’ve had the app for a number of years now and I’ve been very satisfied. The developers have added a bunch of cool features since I’ve had the app. I particularly like the random melodies exercise and the chord identification, in both the reader training section and theory section. I highly recommend the pay version. Being able to create your own criteria for the random melodies section is great.

Great app. Really helps with practicing this essential skill. A change I'd like to see would be to have a guitar fretboard view, but the keyboard view is still very useful.

I have tried several platforms to build skills and those of students. This app is the best. Graded levels of difficulty, comprehension coverage of categories, and results tracking make this comprehensive while intuitively easy to use. Bravo and thank you!

It is really good app. I tried similar one but this has more options and work fine and most of it is free. I have not been able to go through all options yet (for about two weeks) but till now no problem, so I intend to buy the whoe app for having even more fun without adds! I can recommend this nice app for helping to train pros or amateurs.

  • Ramdom melody from a fixed set of notes? Sep 2, 2020

Great app, a real go-to. I would love to specify a random melody of 4 or 8 notes from a fixed set such as {C D E F G} (as opposed to specifying a fixed set of intervals). We do this in a melodic dictation exercise in my ear training class.

A very solid war training tool, with great features! The singing one seems a little hit and miss, though that could just be me! X-)

This app is helping me learn intervals. Sound quality could be improved, though.
  • Fun little app! Apr 7, 2017

One minor ding: go to the settings and any attempt to adjust the input method locks-up the app until a kill and restart. Thanks for making this app!

It's good but there simply have to be more keys shown than the range that's given since some of the correct notes are outside the display. This certainly gets frustrating, all the more since I acquired the Premium edition.
