    Final: Thank you for responding.. After a few days of crashing at login the app resumed normal functionality. Secondary: Still crashing. Initial: Had worked fine for months. Two residents with two different devices and logins. Then all of the sudden today, able to login, but as soon as the home screen appears, the app crashes/closes. Same for both logins. Uninstalled/reinstalled and the issue persists.

    Overall I like the app for requesting services and making payments. However, the red dot notification does not clear in a timely manner. Example, I have a notification to respond to a service (survey). It doesn’t load - not sure if it expired. So I can’t respond to it. But the notification still shows and is pending my response. The rent notifications do not clear quickly either - even after payment was received.

    This app is amazingly simple to use. It is directly linked to my account with my apartment home and makes paying my rent simple and putting in service requests efficiently easy. I have never seen an app like this. I can even communicate with my neighbors directly in the app. Awesome!!!

    The app for the apartment community is amazing. It’s both secure through log-in with fingerprint ID and super easy to use. I love that I could submit a maintenance in the app in literally less than a minute. I wish every place I have ever lived had this feature. They will even allow you to post photos!

    I am having so much problem with logging in. I tried Uninstaller and reinstalling.. didn't work. I now am unable to pay my rent through the app. Been using it for over a year.. was working fine without a problem until I tried logging into it. I need help to fix.

    Writing comments on service request are on a single line, instead of multi-line. Images within bulletin board remain thumbnail size, even in detail view. Within Service request detail, current status date is not shown. Like an option to receive email or push update when a service request status changes. Make Common area service requests public once accepted by.manager. Update statement to view a single month at a time with navigation between months. Ability to make small updates to requests...

    Your web site is riddled with auth and SAML token cookie issues, or, you guys are patching servers tonight and I’m getting blasted. Now I’m trying to sign on your app and I click verify email and it’s dead. I can’t pay for my new apartment making me look stupid and irresponsible to your leasing folks. I worked for Archstone years ago and our MRI system worked pretty well. Your experience is painful to someone trying to hand over thousands of dollars. Heck the forgot my password link doesn’t even work due to the cookie and token madness throwing everything off. If you guys are doing updates tonight then my apologies. If not, please improve. 🧁 Update - just tried app again, got a few steps in, and then get invalid token and then an error message 200 lines long. Like I said earlier, token and cookie with bugs galore. It’s amazing that a trillion dollar company can be so sloppy with an app and web site. I hope signing a lease wasn’t a mistake. Update 2 - trying on iPhone - was able to login and tried to submit payment. Bombed out. Not connected to network message. Buggy.

    Rather clunky from a ux standpoint. Breaks all the time. Doesn't let you log in half the time. Takes far too long to process login so it times out. The loading screen is stretched and pixelated, not high enough resolution so it looks low quality. Service options don't allow for an 'other' option. The other app just looked more polished.

    Difficult to navigate and make payments. Always running into error screens saying lack of connectivity to internet when internet is fine with everything else. When payment is actually submitted, I’ll receive another error screen that tells me the payment wasn’t completed, but then I’ll receive an email confirmation after waiting for the app to catch up and process saying it was completed. I nearly paid rent twice this month. If Equity requires rent payment via this app, fixes need to happen because paying rent to a company should be a seamless process.

    they should have stayed with the previous app. does not work. tried for days to pay rent just to go noplace at submit button. hit contact us and get a page not found error. then no choice had to get a bank check and pay $10. to get it. the rental office said they are having problems too. then they are charging me a late fee because i came in the morning of the 4th with the check. because the site does not work after 3 days . whats wrong with this picture? if anything they should refund $10 fee

    I’ve been using the app for little over a year now. As of today it makes me nervous. I got an email saying my personal information had been updated. Which I haven’t done. Now I’m locked out of the app. I even tried logging in through a desk top and my equity does recognize my email. So because it doesn’t recognize my email I can’t change the password. I’m completely locked out. With all My so call personal information being updated. I’ve emailed management and I am waiting for a response. What a hassle. 👎🏻

    Hasn't updated in 6 months. For a company that has multiple properties, piss poor app. Guess my rent just goes in their pockets. Better to bug the hell out of your office till they listen cause it'll be faster than going thru the app. I reset password, tried different email, and now it says I can't login cause incorrect password. Thought it needed update but hasn't had one in ages (FYI, that's very bad if they use your banking info). I'm now going to pay with check. This stuff can be hacked.

    This app is really bad. It crashes CONSTANTLY. There are a lot of features that are broken, glitchy, or just plain cumbersome. As others have mentioned, you will almost always see a notification indicator, it doesn’t clear after you check the app. It’s fine for making payments or making service requests, those features only crash the app occasionally, but beyond that the app is practically unusable.

    Did you hire some college interns to write this app? The payment capibility is pretty terrible. It has a very uninuitive display with big clunky icons that are actually buttons (who knew). Once you save a payment method, you can't edit it or delete it (from what i can tell). The user experience is so bad that it gives me no trust in the backend code. Immediate uninstall. Your development team should do some research on how other companies setup their GUIs.

    This app is bad, lots of functionality but most of them don’t work. Seems like this app doesn’t know how to cache and load data on the timeline because when posts load the app becomes unusable and crashes every single time. Paying and checking bills seems to be the only thing that works if you set it to autopay so you don’t have to deal with the hassle of the app never loading correctly. If the devs can figure out how to efficiently load/cache/read data then most of this app’s problems will subside or just disappear entirely. Good luck devs.

    Still no fingerprint access authentication on Android despite major version update. Also doesn't make sense to have the guest feature where you need to set it up directly versus going to the list of past guests to reactivate if needed and only creating a new one by exception.

    It’s great that I get to connect with people that live in the same apartment as me, but since 9 months ago the App is glitchy. I can’t scroll down without the screen jumping to the bottom of the postings. Also my profile picture rotates without notifying me and I can’t remove the picture to default either. Needs major fixing. Only good thing is I can pay my rent on this app

    The way it loads and displays resident’s ads is horrific. When scrolling down to older posts, it constantly refreshes so you cannot stay on any one ad. After refreshing two or three times, the app crashes and closes. Happens EVERY SINGLE TIME you scroll through resident posts. It has been like this for months without a fix. Unacceptably mediocre of Equity Residential

    The content in the posts cuts off, so you can't read the whole message. It sort of defeats the purpose of the app since you have to look at the website to see the whole post/replies. This is a relatively new issue, but it's really annoying, so please fix it.

    Convenient to make payments and nice to see community listings. However, the app is very slow and always crashes and closes down when scrolling through. Very annoying and have to log in again. Even when App is updated.

    As others have mentioned, it worked fine until the app didn't let me log in anymore. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't help, nor did asking to change the password. I hope they fix it before it's time to pay rent again.

    The app is either broken, or the management team at the complex we rent at have made it so we cannot see each other's replys. Sadly the many team here does sanitize comments if they don't like what's written..

    What is the use of an app for paying rent if it is not functional at the end/start of months? This thing has only worked smoothly for me twice, once for paying rent and once for placing service requests. I've been trying to pay rent through it for the last 4 days, but it won't even complete the login.

    The app loads slow, while replying to posts your keyboard covers up the space you’re typing in. Bunch of authentication problems, and force quit. Been using the app because theres no alternative in my apartment for 2 years. The developers look like they respond and mention theyre going to fix things but I’ve never seen any improvements in the entire time Ive used this app. Would honestly give -1 stars if possible. A freshman in college could make a better app in a weekend.

    I don't have a choice in that I have to use this app. The least (bare minimum) you can do is make it easy for the user. I'm not a stupid person, because of this fact I don't actually know my password. Login is required, but auth autofill is disabled. Autofill is disabled, and so is the paste ability for the password field. This is exactly why executives are prevented from making UX requirements, because only an out of touch boomer would make that decision.
