Oct 28, 2021 By Dianna RobertsI question the color selection of various seasonal palettes. As a certified PCA I would agree with about 50-60% of them, but not the rest. The features are definitely cool and unique. I keep getting an "unsupported camera" error code when trying to scan a color. Changed settings in the app giving permission to access my camera - didn't help. Looks like more work and bug fixes need to be done here. FYI - I paid for the app. more -

I definitely see why. It makes it super easy for me to find my general colors in addition what I have learned. The only thing I don’t like is some of the colors are not named for the neutrals, jewelry and for the complimentary colors. In addition to you have to use the website to take your picture to be analyzed and it says you can download your custom palate if you pay more. Which is fine but the color analysis should be in the app as well. I would also like to see color expansion and tones(with explanation)added. more -

I have since worked with it a little more and have been able to import my colors thru Facebook into the app. I’m upgrading my review to three stars at this point. When I have a chance to work more with the app this could change. So far I have gone from wanting a refund to this app has potential. 5/29/19 Update I have gone all the way from 1 star and thinking about a refund to 5 star I love this app. The more I use it the more I want to use it. The customer service is excellent. All questions I’ve had have Ben answered promptly, including instructing me how to get a refund when I was not loving the app. I understand how the app works and have begun purging my closet and fabric stash using this app. It took some trial and error on my part, but now I love it. more -

Also, I'm not seeing any place to upload a photo. Must be with the paid version, which is $14.95. Given that the free version won't work at all, I am not willing to dish out anything for an upgrade. Edit: I live in Canada and I assure you that the upgrade is $14.95. Edit#2: I have upgraded my review due to great service. more -

I bought the premium to get deep autumn and compare the color swatches to images I could take of actual clothing, and so far I like the app! I do wish the color picker would tell you explicitly whether the color you've picked has warm, cool, or neutral undertones. That would eliminate my doubts about whether or not a color was right for me. more -

Needs some improvement
Jun 14, 2019 By LissadblThis is a great concept, however, the camera needs work picking out colors. I tested the camera to make sure this part of the app would be helpful. I had the settings all dialed in and it picked up Navy Blue as Powder Blue. Nope, not the right color. Went through all the settings, changed lighting in my room and it never wavered from powder blue. I really want to like this app and give it 5* so please keep “tinkering” with it. Until then, I will do my best to eyeball colors. more -

It implies it's good to find a colour palette suitable to you, but even the Help doesn't describe how it knows what I look like (it's probably there somewhere, but I couldn't find it). A proper interface starts with the person, then the season, then colours - this seems to be backwards. more -

Really wanted to like this app but it's not very user friendly and doesn't do much to explain how to use it or most of the features in the app. more -

When I scanned clothes, it told me many things were charcoal that were olive or other shades even in clear light. Perhaps it is only as good as the camera on your phone and mine is not great, bit I didn't find this app helpful. more

Also, if you’re not blessed enough to be one of the four primary seasons (say, you’re a deep autumn,) then they won’t help you at all unless you pay up $10.99. It was fun for a short while, but other free resources online are much more helpful. more -

I can't choose any of the custom palettes I've created and saved, although it says on the website that they'll all be compatible with the app. As custom palettes aren't listed under "Premium palettes" but under "Free palettes" I assume that they are, indeed, free. Or did I misunderstand? I can't find anywhere that it says one should pay for using custom palettes. So, frankly, I don't see a reason why they wouldn't work but the fact remains that they don't. And out of principle I don't want to pay 9.99 euros to find out that the app still doesn't work. I'm in Europe so maybe that's why this app doesn't work? more -

What’s Groovy
I’m so upset I wasted $11 on this. I thought the locked pallets underneath were a sample/demo of potential colors, but they were the actual colors! All you were paying for is to see the colors blown up. I’m really upset also that it doesn’t tell you if a color you’re pointing up with the camera is one of your colors. It just gives you a name of the closest color it’s to. I would really like a checkmark or an X when you’re pointing at one your clothes in your closet but it leaves the guesswork up to you. It’s a really handy app, which is why I’m giving it four stars, but i’m disappointed for the little I got for $11. For the paid version I would give it one star. I would love it if they told you whether or not the clothes you’re pointing up we’re part of your color scheme. If they added this little feature it would totally be worth it.

What’s Subpar
I paid for this and the only difference between paying $10.99 and nothing is a few squares of colors that I could have found online after determining my season. Seems disingenuous to charge people for a premium product & only deliver a few squares that can look varied depending on the source your using to view them from. I definitely would not recommend paying $10.99 for the upgrade. That is utterly insulting.
