  • Transforming your body! Jul 23, 2020

I’m just now starting the program. I just did my first morning session. It’s too early to say how I really feel about it. But I do like what I see so far of what the program offers. I am a pro athlete, a professional fighter. I’m so used to cutting weight and being ripped up for my next fight. Now I would like to focus on building up more muscles for my chest and legs. I fight as a junior middleweight and always have to cut weight for my fight, and most of the weight is water weight. So when I saw this program, I said to myself wow! they have everything you need to transform your physique to what you wanted to look like. I am also a trainer and have my own boxing gym, I say this app is good for everyone who wants to look good and get rid of the same fat that they carried around for so long. If you don’t know what to eat, they have a meal plan set up for you and his program. They tell you what the ingredients are. They also tell you how to go about cooking it. I recommend this app to any trainer and anyone who wants to transform their physique and look good about it!

I would give five star review because it has potential but extra frustrated this morning. I limited my time using this app for the past month hoping the glitches would be fixed or at least minimized. Wow, wrong direction guys!! This app has potential to be a top product that is why I continue to come back to it but is more unstable than ever. I start a work out only to be stopped because it freezes or doesn’t show the exercise even though the counter continues to run or gives me a countdown of 59 min. And I can’t skip because then the whole thing freezes again. I’ve restarted this work out five times now. Not really looking for a workout app that’s going to take the wind out of my sails. I wish I had pics but when the app freezes it freezes my whole phone which I have no other problem with any other app I use and I have a lot of them I use daily. Please fix.I will update this post and add stars as things are resolved.

I look forward to using this app every day. I needed a change in my life and I tried this back in April when I worked from home and then I stopped after a week and a half. I went through my wedding in August not looking my best and feeling low about myself but hey-it’s 2020, right. Well I’m on a mission. I got my playlist going and I’m on a mission for transformation and wow I really do feel the results. Granted, I’ve been eating so well and with 1 cheat meal a week. The daily menu helps me out and I got some good recipes from there. This app def feeds my competitive nature and I love even the little confetti thing at the end of a session. Anyhow, give this app a shot! Looking forward to using this app for a very long time!

I really enjoy these workouts, they are basic but I am new to the gym and like the simple workouts but please make a way to select days you can workout on. I was stupid and bought a whole year because I thought it would be cheaper than doing one month and then going for a whole year. Once I got in the app there were days I could work out and when i could I would just go back and do the past workouts. I have fallen behind because I can’t workout as frequently as the app wants me too. Also please make it so you can turn of you phone and the app keeps playing. Multiple times I have started a workout put my phone in my pocket and the app just restarts. I have to skip the workouts I’ve already done to get to the one I was on. If these things get fixed it would make the app so much better.

First thing first, great customer service! Every review here got a reply from the developer. That’s a plus. And I noticed, the developer, besides replying to reviews, actually take those reviews into accounts. Evidently, I saw several changes in the app that made to meet the reviews up here. I’m currently under the Weight Loss plan for around a month and have lost 12 lbs since (together with my own daily diet). So I would say this app helps. The personally customed workouts work great for me, what’s interesting is that there’s also a whole separate catalogue of workouts that’s very helpful everytime I’m looking for additional exercises. It’s been working well for me, but I still think of some improvements that can be added to the app. First thing, how to breathe. That’s important, knowing correctly when to inhale and exhale during an exercise helps boost effectivity. Second, can you please make it able that I can change my target weight? 😂 I don’t seem to find it anywhere. Overall, Great app! Help much! Thanks!

This app is by far the best app to start exercising your way into a healthier you. The group that created this app took into consideration every level you may be at to bring you an app that can help deliver the results you are looking for. From home workouts, alternate exercises, gym exercise, and morning reminder, they make it impossible to fail. This app keeps the routines short enough for you not to quit but long enough for you to feel good after which makes it easy for you to want to continue. I never have paid this much for an app but it was well worth it. This is like having a personal trainer 24/7.

Let me start off by saying I did not pay to use this app. I cannot speak as far as the overall experience or performance. However I was disappointed after downloading the app and filling out all the questions only to find a “pay to see plan” screen. The one thing I would suggest that would make me feel more comfortable as well as others who download, would be to give the customer a 1 week preview of what their specific plan would look like. Maybe even a 1 week free trial. If your product is truly worth it then I say prove it. At which point I would gladly pay a subscription charge to continue the service. Assuming my experience is enjoyed and brings value.

  • This app has been made to prey on the insecurities of males Jan 30, 2020

    By dncsofchs
Asked me for my body type and my desired look which is standard in a muscle building app but doesn’t have any real way of helping a person determine their actual body type. If I were to have more weight on me then I can’t determine how much muscle is underneath or even if I’m “skinny, muscled, or heavily muscled”. It doesn’t allow for me to type in my height, weight or anything that are needed to help determine which workouts will better sure my interests. The “get started” screen is a picture or a heavily cut man more standing like a egotistical model rather than a man modeling his physique. After picking my body type the app went to the target my weaknesses rather than my strengths. They call them “problem areas” :wimpy pecs, skinny arms, small legs. Connotations like that are unnecessary and not user friendly for someone trying to improve themselves. This app has been made to prey on the insecurities of males and push the typical negative agenda of what the mainstream media calls the “perfect male physique”. I don’t think there is any changes to be made to make this app better. I’d say throw it out and start from scratch. There are so many other apps out there. This one is a dud not needed in the lives of people trying to become more. Thank you for giving me the ability to rate this app.

When your subscription runs out, the app will no longer open. There isn't anything that can be done to fix it. You will have to go through customer service directly to try to get back in, which took weeks. Won't use ever again.
  • Oct 24, 2021

    By Davis Turner
I say hopefully because it has been quite a process. The only thing worse than the poor content and confusing interface has been the complete inability to get anyone to cancel my subscription. The customer service is absolutely horrible and there needs to be an easy way to unsubscribe like what virtually every other app offers.

Looks nice at the beginning but before you can use it a subscription is required aan payment must be done
  • Very shady Oct 28, 2019

    By rijehgdbwjc
A lot of people talked about free trial here so I thought it comes with a free trial. I downloaded it and purchased it. But then I realized that there isn’t one. I decided to give it try. I’m not a fitness expert but I personally don’t like it. The workouts look really basic and especially there are not many gym workouts. When I went to the developer website, there is no info on the people who developed the app. Are the people who created the app professional trainers? They’re very sneaky with the billing. So later I realized that if you download the app through the link from Google, you do get a 7-day free trial. But the subscription price doubles compared to direct download from the App Store. That’s so shady. I wonder how many are paying that much money. I looked more deeply into the reviews and realized that a lot of people had the same issue as me, and the customer service here imply Apple controls the refund. But if you go to Apple refund page, it’ll tell you it’s not within policy to refund. The policy is set by the App developers. Overall, I really have some suspicions over why this app is one of the top ranked apps but so many much better similar apps (Nike training club, Fitbod, Centre, etc.) are ranked far below.
  • Oct 17, 2021

    By Fsipao ztiaru
This app claims to be a free app but once you register, you are required to provide billing details before moving forward. I assumed this was so you could be billed after the trial but I was immediately billed. In talking with support, this cannot be refunded even though I nearly immediately asked to stop my subscription.
  • Where did my purchase and progress go!?!!! Jan 22, 2020

    By CJ_LV702
This is probably the first review I have ever written for an app. I was on my way to actually getting back in the gym and this app was keeping me on track. I’ve gone to the gym for a long time and I know correct form and workouts, but I was losing motivation and needed someone to just get me there and tell me what to do. This app was doing just that. I downloaded and purchase a monthly plan on December 30. Right away I started working out on the regular. I could see what days I had worked out and tracked my progress. I opened the app yesterday to see what my workout would be today and guess what? It acted like it was the first time I had ever opened it after I downloaded. It is asking me all of the qualifying questions and wants me to pay....again! Firstly I have paid for this month (I double checked my purchase in my apple account) and I am not paying again! I want my progress back and I want the app to give me access again. I’m very disappointed that I can’t access it because I was on a roll. Thanks guys! Guess I’ll have cancel my monthly subscription (which I was happy to pay for a good while) and go to another solution.

I think an important thing that needs to be noted is that this app absolutely will not work offline. This is an important thing to know as it makes it a bit frustrating to try to use the app. There are many features that could easily work offline, but the app just isn't set up in that way which seems to be a big oversight.
  • Some fixes needed Dec 25, 2019

    By huzaifaaaaa05
I love the workouts and the way they work, I just want it to work with my Apple Health app and sync my steps, weight, height, blood pressure etc and everything else a regular workout app uses to help personalize the experience for each user. If you can do this, I won’t need to hit start walking, and then walk 30 minutes and hit stop once I’m done in order to record that. I walk more than half an hour a day everyday, I just don’t log it. It counts in my phones pedometer via the Health app but I want that reflected on the app too with my workouts and I want it to affect the way my workouts will be when I start to do it. I would gladly pay more just to make it easier for me and make it easier on everyone else who are having very similar issues as well. It’s a feature that’s expected that isn’t there and it’s kinda disappointing that we pay for an app that has so much potential but lacks in the basics. If these features get added, this app would go from a 2-star to a 5-star top 5 fitness apps in the App Store. Just the basics are lacking.

I fell for this app's advertising only to find that it has a number of really sketchy practices such as advertising a free app but charging you after you sign up. Additionally, despite charging you without authorization, they will not give you money back, even a partial refund.

Love the idea of not having to think what I need to do at the gym. Workouts are simple but can be as intense as you want them to be. I am at the point where I can see workouts I’ve done before and totally beat my amount of reps done in the given time! I’ve been using this app constantly for almost 2 months. I have only been doing the long workout with out any special diet (other than my 18 hr. Fast) and I can notice all the changes that my body has done! I recommend this app if you are a student like me and have time restrictions all day and have a sedentary lifestyle.

I’m enjoying this app from the moment I downloaded it I can tell that after 25 years of on again off again, this is what I’ve been looking for!! I can tell it’s going to be effective and I don’t need any extra noise like trainers or peoples over teaching opinions I just get to work, eat right and push my comfort zone straight to uncomfortable and remain there...excited to see to results!

I came across this app when on Pinterest. It caught my attention immediately, purchased it and have never looked back. I am almost 20 days in this app and needless to say I have transformed my life style my such a quantity. I appreciate the team for this. Only hiccups was this apps somehow rebooted and thought I had to go back on square one but restoring purchase set me right back. And if I could access my missed day workouts that would be great too. ❤️❤️💪💪

I like this app so far, I’m new to working out so I find this very convenient to have. It shows you how the workout should be done and what to do next. I hate going to the gym and not knowing what to do next and find myself wasting time. This app fixes all that. The only thing I would like to see added is the ability to see all the meal recipes in one tab, rn it only allows you to see the recipe for the daily meals but I’d like to know the recipe to something that was there the day before and there’s no way to find that again unless you take a screen shot. 5 stars if you guys put all the recipes in a tab to look through.

I have a thought for the app. I have a home gym. I don’t go to a gym, but select gym for my workouts. I have a half rack, bench, 300 in plates, straight bar, curl bar, kettle bell, Heavy bag, jump rope, treadmill, elliptical, dumbbells, stationary bike, inverted bench, power rack w/ bands for resistance. I’m not trying to bring attention to me buying stuff. BUT....... what about allowing users to select the equipment to get exercises for the stuff they have. Also, include a heavy bag routine for diversity. I am brand new to the app. I am enjoying so far. I like that it takes away having to plan a routine. Big fan so far. Give me some more time, I’m sure it’s going to be 5 stars.
  • Muscle Booster first impressions… Oct 20, 2021

    By ccflier
After the first workout, I find that the App provides clear prompts and good visuals to show how exercises are to be performed. I notice that it does not seem to read or write to Apple’s “Health” App (even thought the read/write permissions have been approved on both the Health and the Muscle Booster Apps). The Apple Watch “Muscle Booster” App only provides the basics such as pause, and stop… It would be nice if it would allow the ability to start the exercise routine and also to advance to the next exercise from the watch App. Looking forward to to using this App on a daily basis.
  • Great workouts, lack of offline support disappointing Apr 26, 2020

    By sorethroat2020
I enjoyed the customization process and the plethora of workouts available. However, due to my data limitations and nature of my job I spend days/weeks without internet support. Although I downloaded all the workouts for the time frame required, the app does not want to go back to the calendar without an internet connection. The capability is already in the app, developers just need to make an offline mode.
  • Was fantastic... Dec 3, 2020

    By Wildbobu
This app was fantastic and it has helped me lose a bunch of weight and transform my body. I highly recommend it. But I’m only given it 4 stars because before it changed names or the Apple Watch updated, one of those is the reason it no longer links my workouts to my watch. Which isn’t the reason for working out but my Apple Watch does keep me motivated and those two things not talking is a lot less great then when they did.
  • The app is buggy and wonky Aug 28, 2020

    By hans1342523
Well the problem started after the update came in. Now everytime I change a workout in my plan it starts to get buggy and cut of my music. After that my phone will get stuck and then the app crash. But otherwise everything is alright, I hope you can check this and also add feature where we can change our workout for that day rather doing the same workout every week.

If you guys make an app to help people get fit don’t do a trial or something cus I’m a kid I’m 12 I’m looking forward to getting buffed and all but even the for the free trial I have to pay can you guys change this and make it so you don’t have to pay at all because if I told my parents I wanted to pay a trial so I can get buffed they won’t think it’s foolish and think I’m dumb or something like that so please change this I would appreciate it sooo much!!!!
  • Meal plan Feb 25, 2020

    By codykato
Everything is great and user friendly app, only thing I think could use some additional time is the meal plans you can only see the day of and can’t see what the next day, week, or month meal plan is and that makes it really difficult to follow along with and that’s majority of the plan the workouts can be obtained anywhere but following along fully is hard without knowing the meals in advance.

The app is very helpful when working out because of it I have lost over 40 pounds. However the app is very glitchy and often freezes up my whole phone at least once every four times I open the app. Definitely not worth how much I’m paying for the program. Hopefully they fix the bugs soon because I’m starting to get annoyed
  • Please read, I want to rate so much higher Feb 20, 2020

    By Jbaybay 123

  • Has potential, 1 big suggestion Mar 26, 2020

    By PrototypeIO
Let me start off by saying I did not pay to use this app. I cannot speak as far as the overall experience or performance. However I was disappointed after downloading the app and filling out all the questions only to find a “pay to see plan” screen. The one thing I would suggest that would make me feel more comfortable as well as others who download, would be to give the customer a 1 week preview of what their specific plan would look like. Maybe even a 1 week free trial. If your product is truly worth it then I say prove it. At which point I would gladly pay a subscription charge to continue the service. Assuming my experience is enjoyed and brings value.
  • More customization Jul 21, 2020

    By HartmanJR
Nice app with potential. I like the range of exercises. That said, I find the workouts to be far too easy, even when on the most difficult setting. (And while I’m in good shape, I wouldn’t say I’m in incredible shape / certainly not body-builder physique). There should be a way to increase the difficulty of the workouts- probably would merely increase the reps and/or time for particular exercises, or maybe swap in more challenging alternative forms for an exercise. Please consider- I really think it would be an easy adjustment, and would make the app far more useful. As it is, I’m considering cancelling because it’s annoying having to pause so that I can up the reps or time to give myself a good enough workout.
  • Love Workouts, but feeling cheated Aug 22, 2020

    By 46babygirl
I just started this APP and I love everything about it, except there is no way to plan for the meals. And we know that what you eat is majority of getting healthy. Plus you have to plan your meals. This App would be 200% perfect if I could see the meals for previous days and future days to plan my meals. It does not help me to only see the current day plan at 12:01 Am, that just does not work for so many Obvious reasons. I paid for the annual subscription and feel like I got a basic plan, without meal plans. Totally disappointed... I have been told there is no date when this will be fixed. How would you feel? 🤔
  • Can’t cancel? READ THIS. Dec 24, 2019

    By Parb-a-larb
Ok people LISTEN UP. TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM ANY APP YOU MUST GO TO SETTINGS AND CLICK ON YOUR APPLE ID AT THE TOP OF THE SETTINGS MENU AND CLICK MANAGE YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS! YOU CAN NOT UNSUBSCRIBE FROM APPS IN THE ACTUAL APP. On a second note, it sounds to me like people aren’t understanding that you get a week free, but you do have to put your credit card info in first, like you do with most other Apps that charge. They won’t charge until after the 7 day trial period but once that’s over it automatically charges your card. If you don’t like the app, refer to my instructions above and cancel before the 7 days. You can’t blame the app developers for you being dumb. You’re welcome.
  • Workouts not syncing and lack of verbal cues Jul 26, 2020

    By pappanastos
Enjoying most of the workouts, although very short on certain days, which admittedly is probably a reflection of my interview answers getting started. I’m having a couple issues, the most important being that the app is only recording about half of my workouts to the app history and, therefore, to my iPhone activity app. Not sure why, as I’m finalizing (picking whether too easy, just right or too hard) each workout and then rating with a like/dislike at the end of each session. I’ve worked out 7 times in the last 11 days, and I have 3 recorded workouts in my history, interestingly none of which are my full workouts (19-20 min). Secondly, there should be an announcement of what exercise you’re doing next (ex. “Mountain climbers”), so you don’t have to keep looking at your phone every time you start a new exercise. With the above addressed, I would rate this app a solid 4 stars.

I have been using this app since March 2nd 21. Unfortunately I purchased a one year sub. App is is just OK but it moves very slow and freezes sometimes with slows your work out as you have to close it out and restart which causes you to lose any customized workouts you picked prior. Also another problem is one you have switched a workout you are stuck with it. You can’t change midway into the work out. I just canceled my subscription and. I am trying to get my money back for the future 10 months remaining and will go with Fitbod
  • Strange app. Apr 1, 2020

    By Pawh_
It made me pay just to use it but the workouts always freeze and forces me out of the app. This happens every time I customize the workout with the options available. I try to customize because I can’t do all the workouts but then I end up not doing any because the app shuts down. It drives me crazy and I eventually just using the app as is without modifying anything and pretty much doing my own workouts. Wish I didn’t pay for this app but it does provide better than decent workout plans.

    By Adolfo BV
The app has a nice and clean design with good graphics and illustrations. It however freezes a lot when paused and falls short in its offer of alternative exercises. There is no connectivity or way to link it with a smart watch and you fully depend on your phone to calculate the steps, so you would have to carry it on you at all times The nutritional part is very disappointing. It does not offer any shopping lists or time in advance to know what it will suggest as a daily menu.
  • Some fixes needed Dec 25, 2019

  • Having trouble Oct 22, 2021

Hello developers I purchased this app a couple of weeks ago, I used it once and I liked it but for personal reasons I was not able to continue to use it for like a week but as soon as I was able to I got to using and working out with the app. I was using the app without any issue until after a week into using it (fully) that I starting having issues. At first it was that the workouts would take 10-15 minutes to download, and then I tried to get on yesterday to do my workout and I couldn’t get in. At first I thought that it was a loading issue so I let it load for 30 minutes and it was not loading at all, like I didn’t even see the Home Screen that has the workouts. So I said whatever I will just try tomorrow. Today is tomorrow and now the app won’t even open, so I deleted the app waited a bit then got it again, I tried opening it but it still wouldn’t open… so yeah I need help with this because I spent 105-ish dollars on this…so any help would be appreciated.
  • Not Worth The Money May 12, 2020

    By Ssssssss12346789
I never would have downloaded this app if I didn’t need home workout ideas during quarantine. I’m a mid 20s male who was at the gym 4-5 times a week and I stated that when the app ask you a questionnaire in the beginning. Rather than give me a workout that made me sweat and tired daily, like at the gym, it’s mostly stretching and abs. The stretches are things you learned in middle school gym and the abs are from any ab workouts you’ll find on the internet. This app switches from timing you on certain workouts, to giving you a number of reps to do (Example 20 squats vs 30 seconds for squats). The workouts that are timed only give you time to do so many reps to the point that you have to run through an extra cycle or two by yourself after the workout is done to even feel like you got a workout at all. The only reason I didn’t give this a one star review is because as terrible as 90% of the workouts were, I did get a handful of new home workouts out of it that I didn’t think of originally. Save yourself the money and do different variations of pushups, squats/leg workouts, and look up an ab workout, along with running/walking. You can find these anywhere on the internet. The best part about fitness apps is there’s a lot more out there to choose from. I would suggest looking up target muscle groups that you want to build, and build your own workout instead of spending money on an app.

Fell for it as well. Many have written about it. The app will not let you see what your suggested workout until you pay for some membership. And after you have paid and realized some of the choices you made are not correct, the app does not let you correct it; you have to delete all your data and restart if you want to change any of the parameters you have to input to get your workout plan. Also, as many of us need to, you can’t view the meal plan for several days; you can only see the meal plan for “today” so is impossible to plan for a week’s worth of meals and prepare them in the weekend for the following week. Not sure how it got so many good reviews
  • Love the app but..... Apr 9, 2020

By fo real every nickname taken
2 things: 1) the steps are not counted in a full 24 hour period. I come home in the evening to do the walking and it records for the next day’s steps. 2) half the time you complete one of the two sections and it does not register. You have to go back manually and quickly scroll through all the exercises for that section in order for it to close out and say you finished. When you do this the calorie count is off. Please trial your platform before you put it out there for everyone to use with these bugs. Will change the rating to 5 stars as soon as you fix theses things. Make that 3 things: unresponsive support. Sent an email a couple weeks back with no response.
  • Wouldn’t recommend Feb 6, 2020

    By Steve-O-78
I wasn’t offered a free trial so I bought it in hopes it would help me get back on track. It was a mistake. The workouts are decent but the meal planning makes absolutely no sense. Why put a meal planning section if people cant see the meals until the day they are supposed to actually eat it? Am I supposed to go shopping every day? It was very poorly done. I feel like since I payed money it should have at least been a finished product, like a usable function. Oh well, and if you made the mistake to spend money on it and don’t like it, don’t bother trying to get a refund with the link they provide. I put in my reasons for wanting a refund and I was immediately denied. Not happy.
  • Realistic? May 25, 2020

    By callesanfrancisco
First I thought the workouts would be for 60 days but it gave me a recommendation of only 4 weeks which based on my target weight would see me lose 1.5 lbs per day which generally is very hard to do. I’m a very well off person and I don’t mind spending money but I didn’t feel like I could trust this app to make a purchase. Also it’s not apparent if one can make a new “plan” later or if one needs to pay more later for another plan. And also if someone follows the plan but the plan is not realistic and the targets are not met the dev should offer a money back guarantee. If it’s as good as they claim they shouldn’t have any issues keeping happy paying members...
  • Something not right Dec 28, 2019

    1. There is no free trial to understand if the app is a good fit for my needs. You will have to sign up before it can be used 2. I went with Beginners options workout plan using Gym as the pace of workout. All workouts are quite repetitive and does not offer anything specific to Gym equipments 3. A preview of 5 seconds is too fast to understand the way a specific exercise has to be performed. By the time I kind of understood the dynamics - actual timer would start - definitely I was not able to synchronize myself with the speed of previews. Whole time I was rewinding and trying to follow - a very frustrating experience 4. I wish there was an Apple Watch app - so I won’t have to look at my phone repeatedly. At the end I realized I am spending more time synchronizing myself with the app rather than focusing on my exercise. Definitely I am not feeling encouraged to use the app after 3 days if my trial - I wish there was a refund option available

I’m gonna have to agree with the young man. We live in a day and age where being in shape is the trend. If your going to create the app at least make if free so that people and actually enjoy it. But your giving it a week. Everyone knows you do see results that fast. No one minds paying but create the with added features that can be brought. So if the top grossing games and apps are free with purchasable content such as fornite. PvP games and app and they are extremely successful. If your app is good people won’t mind paying for extra content. Overall make the app free and see how you do with extra content that could be bought.
  • Could be great big but..... May 7, 2020

The app is free BUT you have to pay for the subscription before you see if the app works for you. Great concept (especially during COVID) , great promotion, I see on Twitter nearly every day. I actually saw it today, went to download the app and found I downloaded it already....entered my information and stoped at the same point ( I guess) I did last time, I had to pay before going any further. Nothing worthwhile is free, honestly I don’t mind paying, but some sort of trial period is needed. Even if it’s trash , I bet with a free trial you would increase subscribers. Just a thought...5 Star concept , 2 Star execution.

I fell for this app's advertising only to find that it has a number of really sketchy practices such as advertising a free app but charging you after you sign up. Additionally, despite charging you without authorization, they will not give you money back, even a partial refund.

My subscription lapsed and now I cannnot get into the app. When I contacted support I was told I would need to create a completely new account. This is ridiculous. I wasn't even given notice that it would be ending soon. Would have reupped it but am done now.
