I’m not sure who will see this in the sea of reviews. Most of which are 5 star reviews. For me this is not a 5 star app. It’s a 5 star concept. I’ve had it for a month—like other women I wanted to start the New Year “getting back on track”. I thought this was a great app to do that. I quickly got board. And the content that didn’t bore me was over with after 2 mins. I just wish it had more. More important I wish it would update the content regularly. I’ve been waiting for new bedtime stores for weeks. Where’s the rest of the chapters to Little Women and Alice in Wonder. Once you finish a session (which is usually only 2 mins for 5 days) then what? It takes more than 10 mins a week to learn to love yourself, to learn to accept yourself, to not get stressed out. WE NEED MORE. Also. I’m 32– I know this is for women but I feel like some of the content is for younger women. I don’t need to learn to touch myself. I don’t need to learn how to play mind games to make men interested in me. And I don’t need to learn to say the F word. It’s already my favorite word and I’m content with canceling my subscription. I won’t miss it. I really hope they can update their and add more content regularly. I really wanted to love this app. If anyone needs me I’ll be going to Calm (which is also cheaper) you MOREEEEE bang for your buck.

I downloaded this app 2 years ago when I was desperate for someone/something to help calm my nerves and guide me to have strength during my separation and divorce. This app truly is a lifesaver in so many ways; I use it for working out, self-love, relationship guidance, grief... I even use it for white noise at night. Lastly, the therapist are amazing and give very non-judgmental advice. They are down-to-earth and relatable... and touch on topics for everything imaginable.

I’ve been exploring the app for a few days now and most every title that I’ve come across definitely sounds like something I would like to listen to. The only problem is that I am not able to access any of the sessions due to them all being Premium. I don’t have Premium and I’m didn’t download a free app only to buy the main feature (I’m sure many others feel the same way). There should absolutely be an abundance of free sessions that users of the app can be able to use. I’m sure the Premium sessions are totally awesome, but it would be great if we could have free access to a bunch of less-awesome sessions per say. And I don’t mean just samples of the session itself, I mean full sessions that people can actually get something out of. I’m so excited to start using the app but, for now, there really is nothing to use. This is the only reason why I’m giving the app a 4 rather than a 5 star review. Everything else the app features is superb!

I pay because it IS worth the money. My favorite speakers are Diane Mandell and Melanie Dewberry. Both have great insight to offer. I feel like they are genuine with their intentions to help women become better versions of themselves. There are so many self- help apps that I have downloaded just to ignore the recommendations and activities. Many of them seemed appealing by their description but in the end just didn’t keep me engaged. This one is unlike any other. There are courses that are more than just the typical “self- love” and ‘take a moment to breathe” apps. The courses target real issues and provide tools to address how these issues affect our lives. The only issue I have is that it advertises as an app specifically for women. There are several modules that could apply to anyone.

The content is fantastic! The app keeps stopping and restarting in the middle of sessions. I recently switched to Android, and it never did this on my iPhone. I signed up for a year and love the sessions, they have helped me a lot, but the frustration of the shutdowns is overriding the anti-anxiety benefit of the sessions. I hope it can get fixed!

I feel so much at peace with myself and my life right now all thanks to this app. I did the monthly plan, and I can say that it was definitely worth my money. You can just tell the time and effort these individuals put in and that they truly do care about each and every one of you that decide to take a listen. It gives such amazing advice, advice that I actually have never heard before, and it has done wonders for me in any type of situation I can think of. There is an audio for just about anything you may be struggling with, and if you are in need of support it is definitely a place where you can feel it, and start to love yourself if you have trouble with that as well. I absolutely love it, and have no regrets!!!

I love the idea of this app, the first thing I was introduced to was guided meditation, which was so lovely. The journaling feature was great as well, and the community chats were especially something I loved. But the fact is, I'm not able to spend that much money on this, I'm struggling lol. I wish there was more free access stuff for people who can't afford the premium. I'm uninstalling due to the fact I can't do much with out the premium that isn't already offered in other apps already. I wish this app the best of luck, the idea is absolutely wonderful!

I love it so much. I've been using it for a month now and it is changed my life. As a woman fresh out of a breakup, in need of clarity, confidence and guidance on how to be my own best friend... This app is absolutely wonderful and perfect for what I'm looking for. It was not difficult at all to make up my mind to pay for premium. It is worth every single cent. With that being said... I do see a huge need for self-care in men as well. I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly grateful to hear a meditation from a male instructor the other day. But it got my mind racing on the possibilities of helping other men with self-care. I mean, if you think about it, if we help our men with their self care... Are we not helping them be better men for us haha I joke, but the way Society has affected us women there are similar effects on the men in our lives as well. be it brothers, colleagues, father's, significant others or best friends. All people can definitely benefit from what this app has to offer it just makes it a bit difficult when it's women only. And maybe this isn't the mission for this particular app maybe someone needs to create "brother" app. Haha see what I did there? LOL have a wonderful day and thank you all for what you do. I look forward to seeing the future successes of this app.

I usually don’t buy apps BUT this app has been a life changer. You could go out and spend $100 per therapy session, OR use this app. I admit 9.99 is a lot for an app, per month, but if it’s an app that’s going to help me think clearly, and be my best self, then it’s something I need. Life is hard, sometimes you loose yourself, sometimes you need strength to get through your day and you don’t know where you can get it, and you’re absolutely desperate, but the second I start listening to the calming voices, and NOT feeling alone for once, everything starts to fall into place. This is my favorite app, and if you try it out, I guarantee within the week, you’ll fall in love.

I do like this app and I think very good points are made in each session, but personally, I’m young and still in school and I was really excited to find out more about how to learn to help support myself through different issues in my life with this. But I cannot afford to pay for premium as I am still only in school. It would be nice to have free options. I feel like now I’ve downloaded this in hopes of getting more in depth with myself, and now I can’t afford to get the full experience. Which is quite discouraging to be fully honest. But I think the idea behind it is in good efforts.. many people looking for help nowadays consist of younger girls in hopes of finding reassurance in their lives. And if you’re in highschool- it’s hard to afford things such as this if you’re just looking for another opinion to help clear your head.

Wouldn't recommend solely off the fact that their customer service is HORRIBLE. I tried to use the free trial, over a month ago, when I was having a bad week. I was IMMEDIATELY charged for a year subscription, money I did not have to spare. Google told me to contact the app for a refund and I tried multiple times to reach someone to no avail. I've sent multiple emails, practically begging for my money back and no one even had the decency to reply. So much for helping women with stress.

DO NOT PURCHASE AN ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION! I thought this was a great app until I uninstalled and reinstalled. Now it claims I don't have a subscription through Google Play. My annual subscription doesn't expire for the next three months. There's no way to email them about it from the app, either. I got ripped off! THIS IS HOW THEY THANK YOU FOR TWO YEARS OF SUBSCRIBING.
  • Mostly disappointing but slightly insightful content Feb 26, 2020

I downloaded the app because I saw an advertisement for it on Instagram, and thought why not. When I opened the app, I was initially skeptical because of immense focus on just empowering women, which is a good concept. However, the execution of the app creates an exclusionary environment because not everyone feels supported, which is not fair especially since majority of the content is general information for all people. Another issue I have with the app is that after only one sample audio a pop up comes up that requires you to sign up for a free 7 day trial or pay an outrageous amount for premium. It’s disappointing and quite ironic that in our corrupt society there is an entire market created out of coping with the society itself. Thus, creating an endless cycle of superficial values that take advantage of and sanitize the real horrors of living in a world full of systems that reduce and commodify human life. For example, many people can not afford the overpriced amount for premium does that mean they don’t desire happiness? Absolutely not! There are many free ways to cope with problems like reading articles online or listening to music or talking to friends, thus proving the app does not uniquely fix any issues and is quite unnecessary. Therefore, the only reason for its existence is to exploit stressed out people.

I was interested in this app and signed up for the FREE TRIAL. It says so long as subscribtion is canceled before the trial is over, then there will no charges. OR if canceled after the trial period, you will be returned a prorated amount of what time was used out of the year. I canceled it after the free trail was over but only 2 weeks into the years subscription and I was never returned any of my money. So I paid $59.99 for two weeks for nothing!
  • Not my thing Jun 25, 2020

    By heyatleastimhonest
I delved in during the trial period and was thankful for there being one. Minor things: No night mode. The time I have for quiet and reflection is night. The design is bright. You can flip your phone over or turn off the screen but this would be a minor change that people will enjoy. Music. I hope that was free music because it's just awful. It's the same phrase over and over. I have usedany meditation apps and this choice boggles my mind. Ifd never have expected soft, background music to be distracting. Difficult to see text. The background is bright but the text isn't contrasted well & it's small. I get some people won't have a problem but this could easily be fixed by allowing a few options or even dimming the background-again. Major: Content. There's a lot of content. Cool. The content-proper is not for me. I have a background in psychology and I work as a parole officer. Cognitive-Behavioral is my preferred approach. The approach here is basically too sidling, too ephemeral. In the who speech, the same explication of a situation and examples could be done in 5-10 minutes. My takeaway if the 'point' & the action step from these could be delivered more succinctly. I have had years of therapy & work as a civil servant. I currently have a therapist, as all therapists and counsors should. All of this to say that I really do have experience with getting and giving counsel. The concept of the app is good. My experience with it shows that it's not for me.

You literally can't do anything without purchasing "premium", which makes no sense if that's the only option. This will surely drive you crazy trying to find something that will work without paying for "premium". This app only made my issues worse. The supposed "free features" are not anything worth downloading the app for since you can get all those features else where. Those features are about 3% of the app and it's hard to navigate to find anything that you can use. This app is useless!

I used to love the older version of Moov Studio, great workouts when you can feel having a coach doing the exercises with you. Since the make over, to change this app to a "woman app" I don't personally feel attracted to it. I know, the previous workouts are still there, maybe the name changed but I don't understand the need to a pinky-woman-only app, it didn't speak to me anymore.

You have to input card info for the trial. Without it it is darn near impossible to figure out what you can use before throwing money into something without knowing what you are getting into. Seeing them respond to others by saying, "you are wrong" then going full infomercial instead of respecting feedback and opinions is incredibly offensive and shows they don't care about the downloaders who aren't paying them. It would be better for everyone to just stop listing as a free app.

loved what free options there were...but definitely limited. also annoying that first session on a series if listed as free but then the rest is premium. no easy way to find only the free ones either. seemed like the home page is flooded with premium content. I really wanna like this app too. I would be more inclined to paying the membership if there was more offered initially to get me hooked.

I saw this through Pinterest so I signed up with my email. Then it tells me it's a 7 day trial and in order to cancel you have to go through the Play Store. Everyone seems to be having trouble with this app. Very sneaky. I signed up but pressed no subscription buttons do if I'm charged their will be some troubles on the part of this app. I combed the Playstore with no results on how to cancel auto renew. I uninstalled the app. I didn't sign up for a trial so I should not be charged!!!

Cannot rate this app highly enough. It has something for everyone, from every walk of life. Trauma, sexuality, relationships, self care, health, fitness, sleep issues, stress, singles, people in relationships... the list goes on! It is a perfectly customizable experience for whatever you are going through or have gone through. Information is broken into bite size pieces so you get something out of every session without feeling overwhelmed. I've recommended it to all my friends!

I decided to do the one year package and I use this almost every single day and now I’m using the sounds every single night to go to sleep to talk to a therapist to her three times and yes I did pay the $100 fee to me it’s been worth it because I have gone to real therapist and on this app you have so many things in one the tools that you actually need her here I would recommend this to anybody who is looking for change a mental change and an emotional change in their life so this app is a very great tour you can do voice messages you can type them out the sessions the voice sessions that they provide are so amazing and they feel so personal 10/10

I have just begun to try the app and it interests me that it’s geared towards helping women in today’s world. Today’s society, is so fast paced and has really propelled women to the forefront of an astounding number of professions much quicker than what most people expected; I feel safe saying. This app really helps slow the woman’s traditional roles of thinking back down to a more calm pace. One suggestion I have would be to expand the trial period before making a purchase for a year at the cost that’s advertised. And also maybe on the app reorganizing the featured sessions into sections (i.e. - mind, body, spirit) with the sections matching accordingly such as running with body and relationships with mind/body etc.

The content on this app is spot on.I subscribed for a year and the cost of that is a fraction of what I would spend on one therapy session! What I love most is the different series of talks. Right now I’m going through the ones on self worth, and then journaling. The content is not pedestrian or condescending… It’s real, intelligent and challenging.I want to thank the creators of this app for taking the time to find high quality and diverse contributors, and for designing the app so thoughtfully. Exactly what I’m needing. Side note: I wanted to recommend the app to a good friend who just lost her husband but I see there aren’t any series on dealing with death. Please consider adding this. Thank you!!

I just LOVE this app. I have learned so much about self awareness, self care, self love, self respect just to name a few. My mind set has shifted so much in a positive way and I have learned to let go of everything and everyone who isn't serving me because of this app. I recommend it to anyone and everyone who wants to level themselves up. If it isn't the number one self care app, it definitely should be. Thanks to the creator.♥️♥️♥️
  • I can tell the app is amazing Apr 5, 2019

This app is really useful! The process of being able to listen, meditate, and understand things that are happening with you or your life..(relationships, self worth, confidence)..and connect and change them. It also has an amazing layout and extra little things like jornals and reminders! I only wish that 97% of it wasn't only for premium, I found only 3 tracks I could listen to out of all of them. Please make more available for people who can't/dont want to get premium! -Natalie

Love this app all except you can't totally turn off the background music. If it is playing out of my phones speaker I don't notice the music but if I have headphones on I can still hear it even when I turn it all the way down. It is super distracting in my opinion. The content is worth staying for but I hope they fix this

This is a very productive and useful app if you have the money to pay for the premium unfortunately I have to uninstall its very pricey, I don't have that type of money to spend I'm a single mother and its hard making my bills. They should included more thing's in the free version for those of us who do not have the luxury to spend that type of money. Again all in all a wonderful app and I definitely suggest it if you can afford it. Wishing this company longevity. 💜

  • Misleading in a way.. Apr 25, 2019

This concept is really good and is incredible. From discovering the app, the layout is nice. And I would have loved to be able to utilize this app. I am alone and trying to discover self love so that I can remain healthy for my babies. But I just dont have $50 to spend on an app and there hardly isnt any free content. Which I understand, they have people to pay and need to find the money somewhere yo operate the app. If you do have the money to buy this app, it looks like it is very worth it.
  • I like it but disappointed in the lack of content Aug 8, 2020

I accidentally paid for the year subscription but decided I would stick with it because I enjoyed some of the sessions and the sleep guides (though I wish they were all longer). I understand with covid it’s not necessarily the easy task but I feel as though I’m the amount of time I’ve been on the app not much has been added. I noticed one addition. Especially with the bedtime tales, I would like to see following chapters of the books. I love the concept and the girl power and the lessons being taught but there are also many things that don’t apply to me and I’ve listened to the ones that do already. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add more stuff I would love to continue use of this app due to the messages it’s getting out there and the help it can bring to women.

I used to love the older version of Moov Studio, great workouts when you can feel having a coach doing the exercises with you. Since the make over, to change this app to a "woman app" I don't personally feel attracted to it. I know, the previous workouts are still there, maybe the name changed but I don't understand the need to a pinky-woman-only app, it didn't speak to me anymore.

loved what free options there were...but definitely limited. also annoying that first session on a series if listed as free but then the rest is premium. no easy way to find only the free ones either. seemed like the home page is flooded with premium content. I really wanna like this app too. I would be more inclined to paying the membership if there was more offered initially to get me hooked.

  • Not very helpful for me Jul 26, 2019

This seems to share a lot of good communication tips one might accumulate after years of therapy. If you’re just getting started in your wellness journey that’s probably much more helpful. In that way I’m not the target audience. Also it’s DEFINITELY made for straight girls, oftentimes saying “your man” instead of “partner” and telling the listeners how inept “your man” is. Some of the time they seem to fall back on pretty sexist standards that were common place in couples counseling in the 60’s (men are from Mars style “husbands are so dumb we have to talk down to them” style of communication). My last gripe is the majority of the content seems aimed at our relationships with other people, which is good indeed, but this app was billed as a self care experience not couples counseling. I myself am more than my relationships to others and it doesn’t seems to promote that line of thought.
