What a help this is, you always have your phone at hand. Unclear how to save measurements at first. My only problem is accidentally touching the display during the process.

So far, I've only used it for measuring lengths inside a cabinet. Super cool idea, and way more accurate than current AR systems.

I have both the app and the Moasure device and together they make a remarkable pairing. I had difficulty when I first started using Moasure, but the developer has been constantly making improvements and they really show. The ability to measure gradients and circles is a huge plus, and the increase in accuracy and flexibility in taking measurements has made this a truly useful tool. Extraordinary value for money.

The app requires way too much stability in order to accurately measure between surfaces or points. For example, I tried it in my office, measuring from table top to floor. I got significantly different measurements each time and was told I moved the phone too much. I was simply setting the phone on the floor, picking it up, then setting it on the desk top. Naturally, the phone moved and rotated a bit in the act of picking it up and setting it down. I am not sure I could have been more precise in my movements, but apparently the app requires it. If I scale this activity up for measuring a building, I would not be able to maintain anywhere near this level of precision and stillness. I do not move like a laser. When measuring a space, I have to walk across a room, or many rooms. I cannot be expected to not tilt, rotate, or otherwise shift my phone as I move from one point to the next. Often times there are pieces of furniture or other objects in the way. I think the app requires conditions that are too ideal, and for that reason the measurements cannot be trusted. My work requires very accurate measurements. I think I’ll stick with my laser. It has not let me down except in sunny outdoor settings.

  • Way too confusing. Can not measure anything smaller than phone. Nov 6, 2017

This app was so terrible it is forcing me to write my first review in 10 years as iPhone owner. I rarely buy apps but, when I do, I expect value. In other words, I expect them to make my life easier in relation to price. There are some free apps out there that don’t work as advertised but, they are free, so no loss of value. However, I have never had a paid app fail to deliver on value as advertised until now. This app does the same thing to tape measures that Common Core did to 5th grade Math. I’ll never use this app because of its complex nature and total reliance on precision from user. The sad thing is that the creators put a lot of time, money and energy into an awful product. Please do not waste your money.

  • The worst device I’ve ever used May 6, 2020

First off good luck on finding an app to download all apps are geared towards selling more services that are worthless. I was able to get it to measure a couple of very small areas but would not save any other measurements greater than a few hundred feet. The device would lose connection and would have to start over several times before I just went back to using google earth. Don’t waste your valuable time on this worthless gadget that will stay in your glove box and tossed in the trash after a few months.

If you require any kind of accurate measurement, this is not the tool for you! For the price of the Moasure device you could buy a very good laser measure that does everything you need, and is 100 times more accurate!! (And have lots of money left over!) We tested out measuring the same distances with this device, and a laser measure and the laser measure beat it in precision and speed every time! And not by little, by a landslide! Save your money!

Great app, the best I've ever bought since I started in architecture, well done guys, I presented it to my colleagues who are preparing to buy it. The app is not bad either, easy to use, still a masterpiece but, some improvements would be welcome such as the possibility to export only the points when taking measurements and to be able to name these points there. The ability to work and return to a project and continue with it at a later date, as well as the ability to work on multiple layer

  • Refund please Sep 3, 2017

Hi, I would like a refund for this app. It didn't work like how it was supposed to even though I followed the instructions. I ended up getting more accurate measurements and readings doing it myself the old fashioned way. Thank you.

  • Doesn't work Aug 6, 2017

No matter how many times I try it or what mode I use or how many times I watch the tutorials or which direction I move the phone it always say "Opps I want expecting you to move the phone that way." A 36 inch door measured 3'7". Total waste of time and money. Have to question the efficacy of all the positive reviews.

Edit: we tried everything possible to use this device. It's an amazing idea and wish the accuracy was tolerable. We simply can not work within this margin of error in the design or construction industry. Ben was extremely helpful and we worked through many different attempts to get more accurate readings from the device, but to no avail. Moasure made the return experience completely pain free. As they progress in their technology, I feel this device is a game changer - just not ready yet.
