Minesweeper is back!
May 14, 2020 I was very upset when Microsoft removed minesweeper from their windows program (at Windows 7 I believe). Since then I have tried to find a replacement, but sudoku was the closest I ever found. Now this one appears and it is great! The only problem I have with it is when I really get going the functionality doesn’t work for me. To mark mines you hold your rap for a bit longer, until it vibrates. This slows me down and I will hit a point where my mind is going so fast I don’t hold quite long enough and “boom”!more -
Feb 4, 2021 I would give this game 5 stars, as I think it would be fun, but the game does not let you play it without telling you what to do. I have played to level 15 and it still acts like its in training mode. It only gives you a couple of seconds and if you don't click anything it points out what to do. So that's not me playing, thats just following orders. I have checked to see if I can turn training mode off, but if there is a spot, I can't find it.more -
Needs Work; Bad UI
Jun 27, 2020 First, the UI is terrible. Although it’s visually appealing, it’s so confusing to look at. I love the adventure aspect and the variations we get to play, but the numbers aren’t supposed to stick out more than the untapped tiles themselves. The yellow color is so unnoticeable. Please add the ability to change color themes. Also, several times I have lost because the “hold” doesn’t work right and it presses the bomb instead. Especially if my fingers are near the sides and it thinks I’m trying to switch apps. Please add in the quick lock function that you have to swipe twice to leave the app. Additionally, I’d love the option for click and flag rather than hold, especially for speed purposes. Since we can click numbers, click to flag is a great option, while a hold could reveal a spot if needed. Lastly, on occasion I will click a number and it won’t work. For example, there is a “1” and it’s next to a flag. I will click the “1” and the other yellow tiles just don’t disappear. I’ll have to click the yellow tiles individually. This is a hassle and makes the game less enjoyable. But I love this concept. I’ve been waiting for more adventure type minesweepers for years. I almost gave up and made it myself, but I never had the chance. I’m glad someone did it.more -
Great game, too many tutorials.
Jul 29, 2020 I love Minesweeper, and this game is great (so far). One issue I have is that I like to take my time at the beginning, but if I take “too long” the game pops up a hint of sorts telling me to click a certain box, which may not be where I was trying to work. It’s distracting and once it comes on, I can’t click where I was working until I click where the game wants me to click. If there were a way to turn off hints or the tutorial, that would be great, but I haven’t found it yet.more -
Fix this bug and I’ll up it to 4 stars
Jun 11, 2020 I love everything about this game except for one thing: I can’t listen to my own audio while I’m playing it. Even though I have music and sound effects turned off, if I’m listening to iTunes or SiriusXM and launch the app, it kills my music. Otherwise this is the most fun and addictive Minesweeper game I’ve ever played. 6/11 UPDATE: They listened. They fixed it. They responded to me. I responded in kind by updating my review to 5 stars. Bravo!more

Jan 17, 2021 Game has potential, but everything tried to do over a basic minesweeper game is a big swing with a big miss. You can earn coins in game. But you get like 25 coins every ten matches. And it costs 100 coins to continue if you hit a bomb. You can't buy tools with coin. The tools are helpful, but needed too often. Things seem to be laid to leave you blind more often than not. You don't get inside corners alot. Not to mention the moving maps make you click where you didn't mean to. Boom.more -
Jan 23, 2021 I like this game but after you get to a certain point some levels are impossible to solve with logic. It's bad enough that I can hardly ever get three stars, but to have to make a completely random choice or use a tool in order to solve a level is annoying. I just don't play as often as I would if there was always a logical solution, no matter the difficulty.more -
Jan 23, 2021 Glitchy. I try and hold down to identify the mine but it still explodes. Will try again later, was working fine until I got to level 34. -
Dec 15, 2020 Just lost like 500 levels of progress as well as 1000s of coins and dozens of power ups. Tried logging out and back in and updating, nothing helped. -
Sensitive Touch
Aug 2, 2020 Their needs to be a different way to mark bombs. I would hold my finger to mark a bomb and it would think I was just touching slightly and the bomb would go off causing me to lose that board. Also, save the puppies boards are very hard. Why isn’t there any tips on how to solve??more

Jan 18, 2021 First things first, theirs no ads unless you choose to watch! This game creativity adds to the fun of the original minesweeper giving you tools you can use to help when things get tough. I've been playing for weeks now enjoying the regular levels as well as the battles. In the rare event that I've found a bug or problem their support team responded quickly and fixed it! Great game and great team!more -
Love it
Jan 12, 2021 I love this game and I have not had any problems with it other then my own stupidity of tapping instead of tap and hold. Thank you for bringing back a good challenge game other then another match 3 or build it game. Nothing against those games but they get to be the same but with different backgrounds.more -
Perfect for bed time
May 28, 2020 I play this game right before bed every night and it works perfectly. Aside from the occasional slip up when trying to flag, it really puts a fun new challenge on a traditional game I grew up with. -
Feb 11, 2021 I just downloaded it and I'm already hooked. Hopefully I wont play through it all too quickly; I've missed playing classic MindSweeper and this is a nice updated version.

Really enjoyable
May 13, 2020 This is a fun expansion on classic minesweeper, I'm enjoying it a lot. The animal saving levels can get frustrating when the tile won't clear, but overall this is very fun. I'm glad they updated the powerup buying option, too :)more -
Feb 21, 2021 Classic Minesweeper with added twists, but still mostly the classic play. Touch controls work well. Gentle difficulty curve. The raccoon is very cute. ♥

Feb 4, 2021 pretty good game. There are a few issues I have though.... 1 you need to be able to earn more coins. getting 15 or so here and there is a slap in the face. Also you need to get rid of the animal games. Doubt ill be playing it much.more -
Decent with hiccups
Feb 17, 2021 Unable to log in with Facebook. Absolutely cannot stand the fact that if you take two seconds to look at the board you automatically have to “flag”. I honestly never flagged in the original minesweeper. Other than that this is a great game.more -
Fun game but..
Jul 17, 2020 Game is cool, u just have to fix the fact that the number shines when u select the right mines around it without knowing if they are actually mines, I think it loses the purpose of the whole game

Jan 17, 2021 They are constantly giving you hints and there are no way to shut them off. Its either giving you the answer or its a dead guess. There is no puzzles. Not fun. -
I like the game
Jun 28, 2020 I like the game but it crashes every time I go to start a new level after I’ve finish the previous level... EVERY time. I’m on iOS and my level is 17.

Mar 1, 2021 I do like minesweeper...cannot stand the POINTLESS tips that the corner is a bomb...too annoying and can't turn it off! -
Game cheats
Jun 27, 2020 Consistently gives you boards that are unwinnable without buying boosters or without guessing
What’s Groovy
This is my go-to game for relaxing, and my only real complaint is that after getting to the currently final level, 2599, I don't have the option to go back and play previous games. I don't understand why that would not be possible? Now, instead of playing this game, I have to find something else completely. If that was changed, it would be 5 stars. Other than that, it's great that there are no ads to deal with, and the graphics are far better than the other Minesweeper games available.

What’s Subpar
Nothing about this is better than the classic. There are few free ways to advance, and the "other players" aren't real people - if you watch the photos, they recycle with different names. I'm unloading this and going back to classic Minesweeper, available free in Google Play Games.
