I’m in the US, I mention that only because I think the app works differently in different areas. I had no problem loading the app and connecting to the dishwasher. I only did this because the reviews were soooo bad. I didn’t buy the dishwasher for its connectivity but I needed to see how bad it really was. I don’t envision needing to remote start but being able to check a status of a wash can come in handy every now and again . The app does perform that function and it changes the time as the washer tells it updates( just a minute or two along the way). So I guess it would be nice if it told me how much detergent was left in my autodos but other than that it works fine for me. Good luck!!

    Nice, good looking app, useful. Features I miss (using it for a washing machine): (a) total power/water consumption, which is available at the appliance itself; (b) power/water consumption estimate/ forecast; (c) usage history;

Miele, popping up two separate terms acceptance notices every time you enter the app is absolutely absurd and whoever wrote this and didn’t catch that in testing should be caned. Also had trouble pairing the appliances - failures to pair, messages that it had failed when it was actually successful, messages that a final registration transmission of some kind had not completed, it was a hassle and if I wasn’t an IT person I would likely have given up in frustration. I love having the basic functionality of getting notices when my laundry is done, but this app needs updates for quality control in a serious way Miele, for what is supposed to be a premium appliance experience it makes you all look bad IMHO.

This app has many problems, but they can be overcome. Key problems: 1. Keep the password complexity low in order to create an account. 2. This account and your online Miele account appear to be the same but different, use the same email and password for both. 3. Make sure your WiFi 2.4Ghz is channel 11 or lower, it turns out a DA6698W hood can't see channel 13 but nothing will tell you this, you just have to debug. I assume some other appliances also fall foul of this. 4. Hoods come with a XKS3000Z module... this is supposed to plug into the hob, but you don't need this if your hob can already connect to WiFi itself... so add the hob to the app before the hood. Besides... there's nowhere on my hob KM7575FR for this module to plug in. 5. My fridge wasn't visible... turns out I needed an optional XKS3100W module but no error messages tell you these things. 6. None of the app links to "Operating instructions" did anything. I am unsure if this part of the app is just that broken, or if my network just doesn't like whatever the app is doing here. 7. Stock levels aren't showing, it's just a link to the shop AFAICT. All of that said... if you're willing to debug the appliances and app with an understanding that Miele are good at hardware and bad at software, then you can successfully add your appliances to the app. Once all of the appliances were added, the app does work really really well. The UX isn't bad, it's pretty enough, and it does work. The unfortunate problem is that I don't think a lot of customers ever solve all of the problems to get all of their appliances onto the app. Frankly, why should they?! Miele should make all of this a lot better, and could start with simply documenting the oddities above so that more than just computer engineers can overcome them.

Update after 2.9.4: App more stable and capable. However, this version lost capability to update detergent levels or add them to cart. Energy usage displays for washer but not for dryer Prior to 2.9.4: After a few version updates over the past week or two I am still seeing a defect on my W1 washer screen. The Program field, instead of displaying the program I select, such as Normal, instead shows APP_MISSING_LOCALIZATIONKEY2 Also, the app does not seem to read the TwinDos levels. And with one of the updates, all finish times appear in 24 hour format. There should be a setting to display 12 hour format with AM/PM as is typical in the USA Energy usage does not seem to update. Sometimes I see water usage. But a history of runs and data would be an excellent update. That would tell you how many loads you did, how long they took, how much energy/water, along with start and finish times, etc.

This app had worked for me for the operation of the washing machine model WWF060. Now I had to use a galaxy s8 to actually set up the account and link the machine to my account but once linked to my Miele account, this app showed the machine. It is slow to respond and you could probably just use the controls on the machine instead but it is still cool. The notification of the cycle ending is quite useful. I will say this ****if your machine does not have SINGLEWASH do not select it as an option.*** it will cause FALT 43. Just turn the machine off with the dial and switch back on.

Difficulties getting the H7660BP oven hooked up to Wifi when not using WPS but the app connection from a Pixel 3, had to resort to using an iOS device. Otherwise promising to use, can't wait to remote start the first dishes. Edit: Now allows you to select and start a program on the Steam Combination Oven. Thatäs convenient. +1 star.

We purchased a W1 washer and T1 dryer, so far have set up the app only on the washer. Setup was not the easiest I’ve ever done, but eventually succeeded. It’s nice to see status on the washer from afar, and the app provides info on speeds , temperature, and other cycle details not available in the manual or on the display. The broken things: Twindos fluid levels do not display, saying only 0% for each. Electric consumption does not display anything but 0 KWH. Water consumption displays, but seems high, 39 liter for a small load of delicates? The manuals are not available in the app for the washer. I like the suggestion by someone else of keeping a historical record of recent runs, and the ability to save favorites. Keep working on it, the promise is there. I will update or add another review after trying the dryer setup.

Ok, as other reviews, setup is about the worst experience possible. After that IMO all good. You press "allow mobile" b4 you go out then all functions available. Inc., on/off. IMO reasonable precaution to have a physical action on the real oven b4 you heat something to 300°C in your house..... alternative is to If set programme remotely then child/nanny just had to press "OK" On setup, had to create an oven-only-SSID on 2.4GHz-only, take security back 5yrs, and temp put phone on same SSID

  • Terms Of Use, Can’t Connect to Dishwasher Jul 21, 2020

    By corradokid
Since an app update in March the app always asks to accept terms of use screens. Not sure why this is so difficult to fix as it doesn’t seem to be an iOS bug. The update in March also updated my Futura Lumen dishwasher’s firmware to 2.70 and since then the app will no longer connect to the dishwasher. I removed and reinstalled the app which now thinks I’m trying to set up a brand new dishwasher instead of connect to one already setup. Even with today’s latest update the app says “Connecting to dishwasher...” then iOS pops up asking to allow the connection, then app says an error occurred. The dishwasher is already on my wireless network! I’ve been working with technical support for months now and there’s *one* support person who is even familiar with the Miele@Mobile app who is stumped. His best advice is to “Wait for a newer version of the app” which as the way things are going, will never work with my expensive dishwasher again. 🤦🏻‍♂️😤

Disappointing! It takes at least 2 and devices to get a tumbler mobile-controllable: A Galaxy Tablet 2001 English language Android 8.1 to do the setup and a IPad to just add the configured device. With my Galaxy S6 mobile Android 7 I was not able to continue on the Wifi screen - Continue greyed out. On a Huawei German language the check box on the last pairing prep screen is missing - no way to continue. A washing machine worked with the Galaxy S6 some months ago.

A year later and this app is still disappointing and slow to use, I have deactivated wifi to minimize the cyber security risk. If I bought the models with wifi just to be able to use an app, I would be very upset. First it is not a very intuitive app to use. It took me a while how to set the washer and dryer program to be able to use the app. I also have the twindos system and it said the containers are empty, yet they were installed the day before.
  • Login password no longer accepted since this updated Aug 4, 2018

    By MCustomer
My password is no longer recognized since the upgrade. The “forgot password” link doesn’t work. Additionally, any attempt to create a new user name and password fails because there is no field to allow you to chose your US state (required step to complete your Miele account creation.) Just completed 2nd app update and was able to change my password but unable to see or connect the app with the appliance. The washer is on my network and recognized. The text messages to my mobile phone indicating the wash is finished also stopped. The connect instructions appear to support a different process and options are not present on the appliance or app side. My appliance is on my local network and it’s WiFi is set to on, but the app will not allow me to find or access/choose option 1 to connect it to my phone through the app. Under settings there is no networking option to access as shown on the help videos online. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it, reset my password, made sure I’m registered as a Miele USA account. I no longer get text messages to my iPhone when s program ends either. That stopped after the 2nd update to your app. I am now not able to log into my account and not allowed to change my password

The app is a joke. It exists solely so Miele can claim their appliances have WiFi connectivity. I have their steam combination oven. On the rare occasion a successful connection is made, it quickly becomes apparent that there are no features. The connection process is overly complicated and rarely succeeds. I genuinely do not see a single feature this app offers.
  • Love the washer/dryer. HATE THE APP Jul 18, 2019

    By gregg1954
The basically fails 80%?of the time. It connects fine, but then 1/2 the time Program won’t show. When it does, it takes several restarts of the app to get a program list. Once the list is there, it rarely responds to open a program, Yepdie options at the bottom of the app work just fine. When I finally get to choose the program I will set the timer. Half the time the timer doesn’t work and the machine starts immediately. I don’t have to stop the machine and go through the entire process again. Obviously this company does not care about the app as I see multiple negative reviews. It’s a horrible app. If they’re not going to fix it then they should remove it and not claim that they have one. It is that bad. I’ve even called service in the past when I first set up admitted that the app was bad. That was October 2018.

This app, washing machine combo is atrocious. Bought a new washing machine for over €1000 and this app can't talk to it. Both my wife and I spent over 2 hours to no avail. Terribly unintuitive. Didn't bother with customer support. My experience with something as stupid as this is that support will be unable to do anything except fob you off. From other reviews here that seems true here too. Had been a big miele man before they went smart. Maybe best to go cheap, cheerful and disposable in futur

Horrible. 3 hrs in have one unit connected but can't do anything with it. Other unit shows connected on device but won't show up in the app. This is as hard to use as advertised. Save the $1000 and don't order wifi models. What a joke.

The mobile app capability was one of the features that appealed to me when I was shopping for a new dishwasher. I should have read the reviews on this app before purchasing. I could have spent $500+ less on another model that didn’t have this feature. So disappointing!! I have gone through the process to add my new dishwasher at least 5 times. 3 of those times I got a message at the end of the process saying I have successfully added my dishwasher, but I still do not see my dishwasher listed on the appliance tab in the app!! This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Don’t ADVERTISE and PROMOTE that you have an app, if it is not going to work! Every time I open the app it makes me agree to the “Terms of Use” End User License Agreement and the “Data Protection” Privacy Policy before proceeding. I have to go through the process to add the dishwasher every time I open the app and it still isn’t there after the “Success” message. A company of this caliber, that sells luxury appliances, should have a working app if you are going to advertise you have one. After reading other reviews on this app, it looks like these issues have been known for 2+ years. Miele, SPEND some money and FIX the app!
  • Impossible app Sep 21, 2019

    By EngineerCA
Not what I’d expect from a German company. App is slow to connect to device. All selections are slow to take and more often than not have to be selected 2 or 3 times over before they take. Also, why don’t you use the same program names as on the selector if they are the same?. Would go a long way to use consistent naming. I just bought my machines and have done several wash and dry cycles using both selector in machines as well as app. Right now app is so frustrating I will probably stick to mechanical selector on machines. Miele, you got a lot to fix here. Convince me that I have made the right choice and purchase. Because right now we are not even close.

EDIT: The Miele app constantly disconnects the appliance and even when re-added, doesn't stay online for longer than 1 day. Deeply disappointed. OG: Initial connection is a bit clunky. It requires some prior knowledge in how appliances normally are set up, so it won't take too much additional time if you encountered anything silimar. There is something broken in the automated process and no instructions how to set it up manually. Other than that its working as expected.

The only use is that I get a message on my phone that laundry is finished. Bad: App log my user after some weeks out. Then I have to proceed a MUCH TO COMPLICATED login process to get up running again. The only function is that I could stop the kaundry machine. I cannot see any benefit. I expected more info like what programme is running, time to finish, etc. but there is nothing. So up to now it is nearly useless. Miele makes very high quality washing machines but not modern App.
  • Pairing required manual WiFi setup Mar 7, 2020

In order to pair the washing machine, I had to manually go to WiFi settings during the Miele setup, pick the washing machine hotspot and enter the serial number as password. Then a pairing retry succeeded. The app has lots of flaws, e.g. shows the TwinDos containers empty though they are full and the machine is happily using the detergent without error. Then selecting a washing program etc finally just yields a black screen. The only real usable function is to see when the wash will be done.

  • Login password no longer accepted since this updated Aug 4, 2018

Useless App. Appliance dishwasher finds and connects to my WIFI and the App then reconnects to my WIFI and says it is sending code to the appliance but fails every time and blames the machine. The app is broken that much is clear, but it is also over complicated and Miele website short on how to fix issues but quick to tell you how great the App is. It is a shame because the dishwasher is awesome.

I just spent $2400 on this high end Miele dishwasher, with advertised WiFi connectivity to my iPhone, and I have tried 30 (thirty) times to connect. Finally, I got a “connected” notice on the panel, but then I go to the app and it says “connection lost.” And the serial number matches, so I know that’s not the problem. and I have my iphone 9 inches from the dishwasher, so that’s not the problem. when I double checked the panel, all I got was a message that said “deactivate,” which I don’t want to do. Some of the other wordings on the panel does not match the wording on the app, so it’s confusing. I mean, come on Miele, you can do better than this.

What’s Groovy

What’s Subpar
