Metal Detector - Magnetometer EMF - measure magnetic field value using a magnetic sensor that is built into your smartphone.
Now You can easily find metallic objects that are hidden underground, behind walls etc. , or be a treasure hunter or ghost hunters, also see a reading trend through the graph.
Simple app in your device called Gauss Meter are used for measuring the Earth's magnetic field but can't detect silver, gold, copper coins (non-ferrous - no magnetic field).
This Magnetometer app require a magnetic sensor otherwise does not work.

Apr 16, 2019 When u have a gold item on it, it can’t really get any high signatures on the thing so it’s a good app cause it does kinda work but need some sorting and fixes -

Apr 5, 2018 I tried testing the app by holding my phone up to a metal table and it only worked when it was a centimeter away. do not recommend -

Dec 12, 2019 I literally laid my phone down on a metal lamp and moved it around to try to get a reading. Nothing happened. Don’t bother with this app. -

Nov 2, 2016 It does work I put my iPhone next to my Samsung because I wanted to see if the mettle detector if it could pick up the anything mettle in my iPhone and it work alright it went up so high on the reading that the sound that it makes got so bad that even know I got out of the app the sound was still going so I had to uninstal the app!! more -
