Fun BUT can be easy to quit. I like all the game play, different merges. It doesnt bother me the wait for power or the items to dispense. What I hate, is how impossibly long it takes to open new playable options. The story takes too long to progress. Some pieces are rare to get so to have to wait to play it. Crowding your spaces is irritating. I have a ton of pieces that I can't play ever. I take long breaks due to how hard it gets to level up or open a new area.

  • I liked this game until....... Nov 5, 2020

This game is fun and relaxing to play. But I do have some issues. For one, I’ve been playing every day for several months and I am still only in the garden/garage. There is way too many things to restore and each item has several tasks. For example, to restore one of many statues took 5 or 6 different tasks, each task requiring 3 or more items. I am only on level 15 after several months of daily playing (and paying to win multiple times) so VERY SLOW progress. But I think the part that annoys me the most is that the only two tasks I have available to complete right now is restoring a sign and getting a hood ornament. No indication at all on where to start or where I can get the level one item to begin merging (while each task has 13 levels) and upon Googling where to start, all I read is that neither item has been developed yet. Why put a task in the game that has not even been developed yet? I feel this game was a waste of my time and money right now. I understand games take time to develop, but these answers that they are not available yet we’re from March and May of this year which means other players have been waiting more than 6 months for these to be developed. What’s the hold up developers?

Really fun merging game. It takes time to recharge, but I've found that if you save up the energy suitcases, it's easier to load up on energy balls. Also, save your piggy banks a few days in a row and you'll get a ton of coins really quickly, as well as gems which can be very helpful as well. There are items which may still be in development, but the graphics of those in the game right now are really beautiful. So fun to discover new merge chains.

  • Same Review as Everyone Else... Nov 15, 2020

I never review games although I plenty far too many, but I’m hoping that the collective issues we have are getting heard by their team. I love that the style of this merge game is different than the others, and I even enjoy that the plot line is more similarly related to the Homescapes series (cleaning/remodeling a unkept land with a storyline). However, like many others mention, it takes far too long to re-up on energy and resources, as many merge fans have had the luxury of through literally every other merge game out there. The board is quite small, and I’m finding myself having to either sell items (something I never do in other merge games unless I don’t want to open a chest via gems) or tap on experience/diamonds/coins that I would otherwise have waited to merge before tapping. With the rate that I am going, I think it will take WELL over a month (if not a few months) to even see the inside of the mansion, which is kinda a bummer, because I really do love the formatting of this game. I would be happy to leave a better review when this game improves, but because I think other merge fans will be disappointed, I’m giving it three stars.

Merge Mansion is a fun and engaging game where you merge tools to get the tools you need to repair your great ancestors Mansion. The game idea is fun and I would say unique, the characters don't talk much (only when you go further into the story) the energy gets annoying and the space gets smaller and smaller cause you won't know if you'll need the tool or if it's just a useless empty bag o' seeds. I would recommend this game to anyone who has too much time on their hands and needs a break :)

It's fun, but it's either pay to win or wait to win, which makes it so much less fun. Additional issues: 1) You have no idea how much time it takes for each item to recharge, which is completely bonkers. 2) You have no way of knoeing (other than memorizing) which item spawns which things, which is also kind of a key thing to know... Also of course things like that the board's too small, very little free storage space (and the prices of each additional space grows an absurd amount) etc.

It is a really nice game where you can relax for 3 minutes until you run out of energy. The speed at which energy recharges is very slow and the fact that you need 1 energy to get 1 item when you need to merge that item 8,192 times makes you get very frustrated and not very excited to play the game continuously. If keeping players on the long run is your goal I suggest upping the max energy, lowering the speed at which it recharges or offer something that would make me want to come back and play

I really like the game but this energy is a problem! I would like to play the game without having to worry about weather I need energy! And I'm not about to buy gems just so I can fill up my energy. I can use gems for other things! Why can't you take the energy off the game, that would give us a chance to play the game longer and then I could give the fame five stars!!!

I love this game, but I can't figure out why you would make it so difficult to make progress without leaving the game for hours to recharge all the timers and energy. Some people have suggested side quests which could give energy as prizes. You don't want me to have to remember to come back and play, you want me to stay in your game. Even an option where I could watch ads for money would be an improvement. Until you make it easier to stay in the game, this will only be an occasional one for me.

Man, I would have loved this game if it weren't for the fact that as soon as you're out of the tutorial, you get hit by massive wait timers. And worse, there's no indicator for how much time is left on any of them! I really enjoyed the speed I was picking up at the beginning, but now it just seems like you have to spend gems to have any fun. Sad, because it seems super well-made.

  • Fun little game Nov 20, 2020

    By Cintim
Fun little merge game with a story line rather than just redundant merging for no real reason. One of the most frustrating features is actually (in my opinion) a selling point. Like many games, it uses an “energy” system to regulate how long you can play it. Coupled with the fact that many items have a cool-down period, and what happens is I can rarely spend more than about 15 minutes playing the game. This means the game provides short, pleasant breaks multiple times each day, but I’m not able to get so wrapped up in it that I waste hours and hours at a time. The only real suggestion for improvement is when items go into their cool-down periods, it would be nice to know how long I have to wait before they are available again. The items do display a little clock icon but that doesn’t seem to translate into an actual countdown timer anywhere.

I know some of the reviews are negative for how long this game takes to play, but I actually really enjoy that aspect. I like that I can hop on whenever, expend some energy, and then continue my day. I like the game in general, I like the graphics, and the story is interesting. I’m glad it’s not ending any time soon! My only complaint is that you can’t link it to Facebook to save your progress. I got a new phone and had to start over from the beginning. I don’t mind because I love the game so much, but I had progressed pretty far. Please work on being able to link your game progress to Facebook or your Apple ID!

Tbh, it's the best merging game I've played. It's fun, addicting and it doesn't yell at you if you skip a day or a week. It's slow but fun, and even though it takes time to get to the point where you can unlock some levels, it doesn't feel boring. The game space is a little small, but it makes it challenging so really I don't mind

So far no problems. This is like the ORIGINAL Gardenscapes just switch hidden objects for merging. I really enjoy this considering I have a son to run and chase. If Im low on energy after feeding my son some lunch i have plenty of playtime ready till dinner or my boy wants to play. Thank you! Cant wait to find out more about the mansion!! Edit: New graphics are gorgeous <3 great job guys I adore this game

  • Overall Fun, But Needs Adjustments Oct 2, 2020

    By queerdeer
I definitely agree with a lot of the other reviews about the waiting periods for both the items and the energy. With a game set up like this I can literally only play for maybe like 10-20 minutes at a time before I quickly run out of things to merge/have to wait for my energy to refill. In my opinion this needs a lot more balancing or maybe the removal of one of these aspects completely, because with how it is now I don’t know if the game will continue to keep mine and other peoples interest in the long run. This game is relaxing, the art style is adorable, and the pay to win aspect is pretty subtle. Literally the only thing holding this game back is the weird timing stuff. Also, if you’re gonna make the toolboxes and stuff have a cooldown period, you should definitely have a proper timer. Its frustrating not being able to see how long is left, and makes me feel less inclined to check on it more than once or twice a day.

  • Fun game but room for improvement Nov 16, 2020

    By abs116
I’ve only been playing for four days but I’m having lots of fun! No bothersome ads (please keep it this way!) and plenty of tasks to complete to advance in the story. Still, there are changes that could improve the game even more. 1) Add actual countdown timers showing when production items will reset. The clock images aren’t very helpful since some items take longer than others. 2) Reduce the amount of time needed to reset a production item. The longer they take, the less gameplay there is. 3) Balance out the randomness of production. I had four tasks that required gardening gloves and went through nine resets (yes, I counted) of my tool barrel before I even got one glove! 4) In the merge hierarchy, list/show the primary source of production. For example, for lamps, show/list the source as the Toy Car. There’s so much to merge and make so this would be really helpful! So far, though, it’s a really enjoyable game!

  • Love the game. Needs improvements though Oct 10, 2020

    By Pearlocean
I love playing this game. I love the merging stuff combined with restoring the mansion. I like that if you don’t merge some items they can turn into other things you can merge. But with having to either wait for your energy to refill or waiting for the tool box or pots to reload with stuff you can only really play twice a day with out paying for gems to speed it along. I think the game would be so much better if one of these things either was removed or the cool down took less time. Also have a suggestion maybe you can buy with gems or coins more mergeable slots? I feel the board can get over crowed with a lot of things that I don’t want to sell. Like things I’m trying to merge on the board for the quests or room for the ones that give your more items. Overall I love the game I can’t wait to see how it improves and grows in the future. Keep up the good work.

  • Has all of the makings of a game I WOULD love... Nov 10, 2020

    By madelineb1
I think I’d be obsessed with this game with just a few changes. The size of the board is fine, adds challenge and incentive to buy inventory spots. The timer to open chests is fine, expected given the type of game. BUT THE UNKNOWN LENGTH OF TIME OF COOL-DOWN FOR THE OTHER ITEMS? So stupid that I’m deleting the game. There’s no need for both a space AND time restriction on items. Especially a time restriction with an unknown length. Literally the only thing y’all need to do is remove the cool-down on the object generation. That’s it. The only change. I’m not even spending gems to speed up the process because I don’t know how long it’ll be. 1 more minute? 30 more minutes? No idea there’s no timer with numbers. It’s probably in place because you released the game before having enough content ready but it’s infuriating and most people aren’t going to play under it for long enough to get very far. It’s true what everyone else says, you can only play about twice a day for 5 minutes and probably still get nothing done.

I like the game. But its just too slow to recharge. I know you all aim to get people to invent in your game but honestly with how long it takes to recharge and how fast, whatever you purchase will be consume makes it useless to even think of supporting the game financially. Don't get me wrong I've played games like this before and I have put in the $ to get out of a though spot every other day, but the time I could play around without having to do so made it completely worth it.

Nice concept, different from other games but like others have said so slow, waiting to get what I need to move fwd. I actually restarted this game because at lv 8 I got stuck. Still hard pressed for space. Clearing the grounds doing the same thing is getting boring. Need to be able to go to the front on the house clean up then into the house with a new game board for inside. Mix it up a lot.

The only difference I see in the update is the items on the board are fancier. Still very slow going game. I like the game but I get like 3 minutes of play unless I want to spend a lot of money. I am on a limited income so I can't afford to pay a ton of money. Maybe some side match 3 games or something. It's still a guessing game as to what makes what. Like the hood ornament. I'm about done playing it.

Same comment as the rest. The pay wall is too obvious. All you can do is. Play for 2 minutes before having to wait for energy, or pay amounts that are just not worth it. The mechanic is interesting, artstyle and narrative are decent. There is a huge potential for it to be a great addictive game.
