    I am extremely grateful for this app. I saw Mentor Box on a YT ad, dived in, and immediately was obsessed. I am a young entrepreneur and have so much to learn. I picked the wrong major in college so I am now catching up and mastering every aspect of entrepreneurship. I was focusing a lot on reading, but it took me a few days to get through every topic, much of which was repetitive. Mentor Box has allowed to learn so much information in an enjoyable manner and a short period of time. They also provide actionable worksheets so your knowledge can be applied- applied knowledge is of the biggest aspects of growth that is often skipped over. Thank you Mentor Box team for bringing your vision to life! I absolutely love it!

    The content can be used in different aspect of life. Some very practical points are extracted wisely from books. Many of them not only are genuine ideas but also triggered my mind to create some more enhanced ideas for my personal life. Some of the workshops are also very useful. Yet, I think the team care more about the big picture and some details are neglected, for example the app can be even better and maybe it's better to have a certain structure for their discussion with the authors.

    Mentor Box is unbelievable the information and knowledge you can gain from using this program is fabulous. I do a lot of driving in the car so this is great to put on instead of the radio or music. I can get through two books a day on average and the information you’re learning is easily appliable to your every day situations especially in the business environment. This helps you to Keep growing and expanding your mind and perspective.

    Having author talking about book is altogether a next level experience. That is what I found really amazing about this app. Only missing star is about that if I wish to read that book post or before my class. Then I need to switch to my kindle again.

    Bad customer service. I signed up a while back and paid $10/mo. They reduced the price to $7/mo after a few months but didn't adjust my subscription fees. I paid the higher rate for months and contacted them about it. They didn't want to issue me any refund and said they weren't obligated to lower the price I was paying.

    The concept is amazing and if they get their stuff together a bit it can be a great business. However, there’s issues in many areas. False content, no customer service and the technology is lacking immensely. the customer service is non existent practically. I emailed with a basic question and got a reply that they don’t have my email address, credit card number or date that I signed up. Funny because u emailed me back, charged my card too. Ok that’s fine I get it, good customer service is hard to come by. But then when I gave the information I never heard back from them again months later lol. Also a big turn off for me was that Tai gives the summery of “How to win Friends and Influence People” and he says how Johnny Carson had no friends and no one came to his funeral lol ok Carson had social anxiety so he didn’t like big parties but he had many friends and thousands came to his funeral. Just a small point but it makes all the rest lose integrity when you just make up facts or fail to check them. Good concept not so good execution. Also it crashed out all the time, I couldn’t play it in the gym or my car and u can’t download for offline listening. Spruce it up fellas and I’d be back in but for now u have to work out the kinks.

    I’m going to play arm chair CEO for a minute and say I think spending less on social media ads and more on app development would cause this app/subscription service to gain massive organic growth. The service is AWESOME. The app just isn’t up to snuff as to the level of functionality most users are expecting today. Trying to devour content say at the gym is a huge challenge. Phone locks, audio tracks start over, the next track doesn’t start automatically. I find myself fumble in the app and ruining my work out, having to stop things like rowing to try and get to the next track. Most of the time I just end up reverting back to audible. I am keeping my subscription and because the context and value is GREAT. I am just hoping usability increases.

    The content is great but can you please please please make this app more like a podcast or audiobook app? You can’t use it in the background so if you’re driving and need your GPS, too bad. It also will go back to the homepage if you leave it idol long enough and it doesn't remember where you were in the clip so you waste a lot of time trying to find where you were. Also I dont know why they even call it a “download” link because it just goes to an audio-only version. This needed to be better thought out and executed seeing as this was supposed to be a media subscription. If the method to deliver that media is bad, well then... Please fix this!

    I think this app has a huge oversight: You cannot listen to lessons unless your iPhone is unlocked. This is totally unrealistic for this type of apps because the whole point of it is that we should be able to listen to these lessons why driving or at the gym, but as it is right now we have to be constantly unlocking the iPhone to continue listening, which is not just a huge pain but a big distractor as well.

    I thought this was a good idea, and subscribed in good faith. It soon became apparent that I didn’t have time for it, and thought I canceled my subscription. That was like a year ago. Well, it seems that unlike most iPhone apps, which you cancel through your Apples subscriptions, you also have to cancel through MentorBox. It’s only $7 a month, but still... it’s the principle. The ‘unsubscribe’ button in my account doesn’t seem to be functional. The ‘chat lady’ assured me that my account was now canceled, and that my money ($7 for this month!) would be refunded. Guys, you need someone to Mentor you in GOOD customer service practices.

    The idea and content is fantastic and fills a product gap! Cliff notes in audio form for great self help and business books. Content won’t play all the way through, if your screen dims you have a very difficult time getting it back up and running without shutting app down and restarting. Every time you login the screen appears different and content organized differently. Most of the comments say similar experience over last couple years so it doesn’t appear they are reinvesting in the infrastructure etc. Disappointed to say the least.

    Prepare for the UPSELL! You think you're getting a valuable service going into the transaction, but by the time you get to the end of the purchase you’ve been UPSOLD 3 times, and you feel like you’ve been scammed or duped. Don’t get me wrong, the idea and the content are amazing...but you only get the videos for the standard price. Everything else shown in the commercials and ads are an UPSELL. Once you get into the app/website, there are 9 different sections or tabs at the top...8 of them are UPSELLS. From a fellow CEO, I would recommend firing the current leadership team and hiring in new....these guys completely destroy the Customer Experience. Would not recommend in the current state.

    This app might be the worst app from a tech/usability perspective on my phone. That’s really surprising considering the creators. After several months of having paid for a year long membership, I haven’t learnt anything from this because App crashes App doesn’t keep track of where I was in the audio so every time I’ve start a book, it starts from the beginning! There are no user journeys in this app, either urs in the main page, or you’ve clicked on pretty much any link in the menu or anywhere else in the app, which takes you to the landing page for other paid content. Now it’s diff to find ur way back and if you do, you don’t have a recently heard or dashboard to resume what u were listening to. I waited for a few months fully expecting that this was a blitz scaling tactic and they would surely update the app, but it’s been a few months and no updates here. I’m really hoping to learnt the content I’ve paid for, but the app makes it hard and uninviting.
