It's a pretty good adventure game

That brings with it all the standard problems of being impossible to figure out at times, and demanding you click, or tap in this case, on literally everything to try and find what to do next. That said, it's still good, and you'll feel really smart when you solve its puzzlesmore -

Potions are clever but over used, most HO games fairly easy but great job on interactive story puzzles. Difficult enough for intrigue without cussing! Lacked instructions and/or clarity for what was expected or how to play with regards to puzzles, HO's, etc. Too much tapping required to collect items for inventory & collectibles. Graphics not that great, not character voice synchronization. Needed diary/journal, not just "to make" potion book. Could use guide additionally. Disappointing ending. "Extras" section deficient, for as was inaccessible, confusing and/or did not respond in some sections. No excitement or stimulation whilst playing the game-Just felt like one was going through the motions. In short, this game is not really worth the cost, even when on sale.more -

No instructions on what to do so I started tapping around, still nothing! I left the tent and now can’t re-enter! Have no idea what to do. Hint is useless. I either have to start over or just delete! Great game if it was longer.. This game was ridiculously short with no bonus game... what is happening to AM games? The prices go up and up and the games get shorter and shorter..im afraid to even download anymore cause of it.

Loved the game - pesky bugs are gone! Beautiful graphics, great voiceovers, teleporting map. Hidden object scenes are a mixture of silhouettes and word lists. Creating of potions to complete different tasks - a very nice & different touch. Wish this company would release games on a regular basis for IPad. Great storyline as well & had a lot of fun playing this. A must purchase if you want to have a good time! KdBoots

This is a typical Adventure "Puzzle" game much like the kind that Big Fish publishes: Hidden Object Scenes (HOS) which aren't true puzzles because the player is doing random searching instead of figuring out how and why something works; collecting inventory items and then searching for the proper spot to place them; a few recycled puzzle types or activities such as tangrams, untangling strings, repeat the sequence, sliding picture puzzles, etc.; and the occasional mini-game that was so poorly designed that a Skip button became an industry standard addition. Most other puzzles can be "solved" with a few seconds of random tapping. The graphics are indistinct and dimly-lit which is unconscionable in a game that is mostly finding inventory objects and HOS with target objects often hidden behind other objects; it's especially bad when the game adds insult to injury by penalizing for random tapping. The voice acting is poor. The characters are either bland or overblown stereotypes, and the story is so uninspired that it is no hardship to stop playing on reaching the end of the demo portion. At least the locations aren't bleak and ugly and filled with horrific imagery, but they aren't especially attractive either. I have no phobias for spiders or rodents or reptiles or skeletons, and I'm not offended by references to the occult, but pretty, colorful settings are depressingly rare in these games. The graphics aren't that well drawn either. In fact, this game is so derivative and unmemorable that I downloaded it and started playing through the demo portion before I realized that I had already done so just a few weeks ago. It isn't a bad game, based on the little I played, but something this forgettable just isn't worth a whole lot.
