I love being able to meet and play with people from all over the world, so fun! Please please fix the multi view issue, restore the ability to use multi windows. Update: I have requested the multi window issue to be restored and was told it's not a needed feature unfortunately. It was very useful though and has definitely limited my gaming time due to loss of multi tasking abilities.
  • Game has potential to be great, but it’s pay to win. Sep 16, 2020

    By Hejdkgi
This game is great. The farming and leveling up aspects of the game are enjoyable and in depth. But this game critically needs some type of skill/strategy added to it so that it’s not just ‘the big guy wins’ each time. I’ve been playing for over a month now and have gotten on each day. Now that I am a regular player I am able to take down smaller enemies etc. But to dominate this game is simple: spend the most money or have the oldest account. This needs to be revised. There needs to be more interactive defense and attack mechanics so that defending and attacking players can still have a fighting chance to save some resources/damage/troops when invasions occur. There should also be more interactive alliances — making it so that established alliances between guilds are accepted and broken by only the rank 4’s and rank 5’s in a guild. When an alliance is active, no one in the guild can attack the opposing guild without a rank 4 or 5 player deactivating the alliance first. When an alliance is ended, the other guild should be warned by the system that it has been canceled and that enemy troops are approaching etc. (just a thought). But there needs to be more player involvement integrated into the game. (Allied guilds should also be able to rally troops together and take on monsters and dark-nests together.) All in all, I rate this game 3 stars. It’s got great potential, but for now it is still missing the mark.

This game is the best and most addicting mobile game I’ve ever played but sadly this game was made around P2W which really does break my heart I maybe put in around 60$ into the game to speed up some buildings and stuff but of course the more you play the more you see how it’s P2W like the best hero items for war you have to spend 100$ to get a bundle that comes with a couple of chest to hope the RNG gods will give you the right items and even if you were to get the best RNG you have to still buy like 10 more since you have to upgrade the item like 4 times and each time it takes more items to do it so if you want a chill 75 day game this one will win you over but after those 75 days are over your kingdom becomes unprotected and you have all the P2W players joining your fresh new kingdom to try and rule it and it becomes game over for people who haven’t spent around 1k$ in bundles like i said I spent around 60$ and played for more then 75 days and I’m only at 14mil might you have people who are in the billions in might which I’m telling you is impossible unless you spend around 5k$ especially seeing the items the billions and some millions got it’s mind blowing that they make all this money but yet still can’t make a monster that drops the items at like a 1% chance to at least be able to obtain the items for free instead of putting a message saying that these items can only be obtained in the shop bundles just mind blowing logic

So yes I agree with most other people commenting here you have to pay big to have a shot at being a heavy contender in this game. To give you a reference point I’ve invested 200$ and approximately 2 hours per day for 2 months of my time and I have a level 24 castle and decent tier 3 troops. I’d say with the investment I’ve made I’m probably in the top 20 % of players if I had to guess based on what I see. I think to get to a level 25 castle and have decent tier 4 troops your talking either another 3 to 4 months of playing or paying another 50$ plus 1 more month of playing if I had to guess. To put things into perspective my “ might “ which is a strength system this game goes off of is 11 million. This “ might “ level represents the culmination of all your armies, building levels, resource gathering capabilities etc..combined to spit out a might number. I run into people regularly with over 100 million might that could literally kill me with the flick of a finger and I’m pretty strong. So I guess what I’m getting at is yes the game is fun but if you want to be at a competitive level and actually have fun playing... you’re looking at spending at least 250$ to 300$ and a few months to get to that level. I’d say if I spent zero money it would of took me 2 years to get where I’m at now.. at least 2 years. So either be prepared to spend money or be prepared for the long haul just know what your getting your self into.

So far so good. The game ensures novice players get a decent chance to progress and learn most of the requirements needed to evolve their territory. It doesn't badger for money immediately but, since Ive only played for 3 days, I haven't been exposed to any advanced conflict beyond those required to create a mini- kingdom. Thus far, is very easy and therefore, for myself, enjoyable as I really don't like having to fight for survival with no chance to survive after only a few days of play.

I used ALL my x1 and x2 travel speed ups for the Lords Cup, and someone else made it exactly the same time as mine, and you gave it to them! There should be a limit on how many times a player can hit it, because the same person was spamming it so nobody else could hit it! I had so many speed ups saved up, I used all of my training speed ups for troops for the Lords Cup, and I could’ve used those speed boosts for better things! This was the first time I was able to participate in the Lords Cup, and now I have no interest of ever participating again. Now I have no training speed ups, no travel boosts, and way too many t1! I put up 8 hour shields and it deactivates after 7 hours. Not 7 hours and 59 minutes, exactly 7 hours. When I’m asleep. The research times are ridiculous. 30, 40 days?! It’s impossible for F2P to grow with all the huge, 1 billion might P2P players burning you all the time! And the shop, jeez! $100 for a bunch of crap? What happened to the .99 cent packages? It’s all 1.99 now! What’s the point of notifications? I didn’t even get a notification that I was scouted, and I only got a notification that I was being attacked when the attacker reached my turf! Notifications are useless! I put on a 24 hr shield at 6 pm, it’s supposed to go to 6 pm the next day. Nope! It ended at 1 pm! It’s been 13 hours since I put it up. It says it had 7 hours left, when instead it should be at 11 hours! You need some maintenance to do!

Next level! Almost too much to do all tasks in one day; however, it's definitely not boring. The amount of free rewards is fascinating. Plus, although the mechanics aren't complex, there's still a clear learning curve you have to meet for your individual micromanagement skills when it comes to starting the game. However, there are also external incentive apps to make this personal growth worthwhile, such as Mistplay.

I enjoy the game and spend too much on it, but since an update a month or so ago, the game crashes all the time on the kingdom map view. I have to relaunch at least 5 times a day almost every time I play. Usually only happens once per time I launch the game to play, but it's rather annoying. For the amount of money I spend on this game, it should work better.
  • Great game...but remember it’s P2W Jul 19, 2018

    By The Walking Ted
It’s was actually one one my good friends who got me into this game. It’s fairly simple and pretty addicting if you are in to RPG and RTS...that being said from the start you are giving just enough to keep your castle scratching the surface. In order to really compete, monster hunt, attack and defend your castle you are going to have to spend between $60-$99. I’ve been playing about a week or so and purchased a “starter kit” I think it was $9. But honestly, trying to build fast before your free shield drops is...useless. You are more than likely being scouted by the serious P2W players. So find a guild ASAP. Because the serious P2W players clearly run the show. Its nearly...no wait its impossible to defend your castle, guild or kingdom against most/all of them. We can’t really blame the developers though. It’s a cool game and they should be paid for their efforts and upkeep of the game and servers. They do an excellent job in that department. But maybe there should be a threshold or a limit you can spend daily, weekly, monthly or even a break limit that would separate us casual players who may spend a few $’s here and there from the the serious P2W players who are spending a ton more. This game would be a lot more balanced and fun if I was being attacked and could only attack another player grinding like myself.

Excellent graphics, great concept, lots of different things to do to try to keep you engaged. But the one thing they forgot.... new user enjoyment. I liked the game for the first month. And as you start to understand the game, gathering materials for you to grow. you will be relentlessly attacked. They come to steal your mats, your leader or just to keep you beat down so you never grow. All this is done by players 200 times your size, so, you never inflict any damage on them. Pay or LOSE

The ad I saw dealt with getting more troops than the enemy's by selecting one of two math choices to modify your troops. That's not the game. I'm not playing it anymore, because the gameplay doesn't match the ad I saw. As for the actual game, it's different from the usual defense games I've seen where the focus is more on attacking instead of defending. It's a give orders type game. Edit: "Creative liberty" means the misleading ad is intentional. All the more reason to not play.
  • Pay To Win... Nov 24, 2020

    By MJames!!¡
I can sum this game up real quick for you. The concept and mechanics of the game are decent. The falloff starts with the money problem. They call this game a “strategy” game. It’s about as far from that as possible. In fact there really is no strategy. It’s whoever has the bigger army wins. Usually this means whoever has paid more money because advancing is painful and slow. To make matters worse, advancing becomes almost impossible due to the “pay to win” players raiding your village as much as 4 times a day sucking every resource till it’s dry. Meanwhile you can do nothing but watch your village be sucked dry of everything because unlike most games with a ranking system. A level 60 in this game with thousands of dollars invested can attack a level 10 player and still earn just as much off the attack as any other player. They DO NOT care about the non pay to win players nor those just starting the game. Prime example of game Devs only caring about money. There is ZERO strategy. I am attacked daily by people 30 levels higher with as much as 100 times the troops. Not only do they have more troops but they are higher level. I sometimes kill as little as 50 of their 200K troops because the game is so unbalanced. So if you want your money to go into a greed app go for it. But know there is no such thing as care or empathy to new and average players. Just don’t even bother, this game isn’t even worth burning the occasion 2 min of free time you have.

Game has gone down several times over past months. Once game went to 3D maps, the problems occurred. It's making the game harder and harder to play not knowing when it will be up and making shielding more dangerous as your shield may go down before you can log in to put up. During these times only some accounts are affected, not all which means you can lose everything you built in that instance with no recourse but to spend time and money to get it back.
  • I waited 3 weeks before writing a review... Jul 20, 2018

By A Mother With A Heart
This game is very addictive! However, the more and more I’ve played these past weeks and crunched numbers, I’m started to believe you have to be a millionaire to play and win. But now... with each update... you’ve got to have an bottomless money pit. My husband and I both play this game. And if any of the developers are listening... please please really listen. In my guild there are several kids. Teenage kids from developing countries who have no business spending their money on this game. However, just a chance to escape reality and a way to just be a kid, they’ve latched onto this game. I continue to pay and play this game in order to protect these kids from big bad cyber bully billionaires who have nothing better to do than destroy the financial investment (fortune to these kids... hell, fortune to me too) these kids have made. However, when our kingdom opens up... I have no idea what I can do any longer. I have children myself. And I would never ever let them play this game or anything similar. It’s such an amazing game and I was very impressed with the translation tool. It breaks many many language barriers. It allows people from all over the world who are all different nationalities to play together as a team with no racism. This game has the potential to be something super positive in the world. And it’s a shame that it’s pushed further and further into an cyber casino.
  • This game is fun but lopsided Feb 15, 2022

    By Clavincus
This game is okay. You have the opportunity to meet new people and strategize. The biggest problem in my opinion is the fact that the game is CRAZY lopsided. A bunch of extremely powerful players who obviously paid their way to the top. There really is no way to get around it. It makes the game more stressful than fun, and considering the fact that the game is literally only determined by the person who put in the most money, I wouldn’t play unless you have pretty deep pockets. It would benefit the game if there was some sort of trap system or something that allows players who aren’t made of money to have a fighting chance. Maybe some type of trap that at least deters powerful players from wasting your money, which might actually make it slightly more strategic. Every time you start to progress some OP player comes and undoes everything you accomplished the last few days which is infuriating and makes me wanna stop playing all together again. Literally everything else is great, even support will help you with most issue within their control, and they are very patient and kind. However everything else is over shadowed by the fact that the game is almost unplayable without investing hundreds and even thousands of dollars. I get it you gotta make a profit, but with everything going on, not too many people have that type of money to invest in an app that is supposed to be fun.
  • Their flaws screw over players Dec 10, 2021

    By SisterKris
The emergency maintenance that took place on 11/29 prevented me from logging on to reset my 7 day shield. The maintenance ended around midnight for me and the maintenance shield expired at 4am, both times that are in the middle of the night and completely unacceptable to ask a player to stay awake until. I’ve messaged IGG 3 times to get my troops, leader, and resources restored and each of their replies has completely glossed over it. They’ve just repeated that they have out maintenance gifts, but 600 gems and some speed ups aren’t equal to 30million+ might in troops. I’m less than a year into my computer science degree and know that bugs happen, but they should not significantly impact the end users, and if so, from a customer service standpoint, the impact should be corrected. I’ve spent way too much money on this game to not feel screwed by IGG for how they’re handling this. It’s ridiculous that they can just declare maintenance, lock you out for however long they’d like, but then make you deal with whatever happens. It’s also ridiculous that they won’t restore things back when it’s completely free for them. I never asked for a refund on anything, just that they give me back what I had before I was locked out. I know they have the capability too, it’s been done for several people I know before. So why they won’t is extremely hard to understand.

I've been playing since 2017. I've only spent about $40 total in that time, and I've been fairly successful as a trap (someone who only wins defenses with overwhelming troop counts). Unfortunately that's the *only* successful free-to-play strategy that will ever see combat. A large majority of players spend 100% of their time shielded with the delusion that one day they'll be strong enough to fight. But 1 mistake will erase years worth of troops, so they always end up 0'd with nothing to show.
  • Pay to Win Jul 17, 2020

    By Marjael
I’ve played daily for over two months. The game is literally designed for you to fail unless you put money in- which isn’t that terrible except the amount is very unbalanced. Gems are basically needed but unless you spend $99, it’s only a few thousand that quickly run out. The events are rigged and you’re punished for playing in them. The Dragon Arena was fun for about 30 seconds and then you’re incapacitated for the rest of the game. And what’s worst? You’re randomly placed in your kingdom, so you better hope you saved one locator. Most of events are impossible to win unless you fork over significant money and even then, more than likely, someone spent more than you so you still lose. And this doesn’t talk about the attacks from other players. It’s a war game, doesn’t bother me that I sometimes get attacked. It does bother me that it takes THREE days to rebuild my shield (and the more powerful you are the longer it takes) and how long it takes to recoup. And if your leader is taken? Just give up for a few days. The player that attacked recently was 558 million might. That’s more than most guilds combined. But the developers don’t care about the unbalanced of those who pay and pay and pay, and those who would like to play and have fun. And let’s be honest, if you want a war game and don’t mind paying, you can find much better developed games.

The key here is you pay to win this game. Just like all the MMO war games, this one engages in microtransactions and special one off buys (in realm of over 100$) which create a wide gap between somebody who would pay a single 50$ for a similar console game and would work through getting all the perks. This creates a huge number of whales that spend big money (probably more than $1000 and by some estimates must be more than $5000) tns completely edge you out. Good luck having fun when your time and some money get completely wrecked by somebody who apparently has nothing better to do but spend $1000s of dollars. So totally unfair and not fun. **In response to developers: no you don’t take advice because if you did you wouldn’t have buyable heroes that give not enough medals to get to higher levels. I have to spend over two hundred dollars to get buy-only heroes over blue rating. Probably over 500 dollars to get to purple. And probably another thousand to get over yellow. This is insane. You are shamelessly making it fun only for people with massive bank accounts. AVOID THIS GAME IF YOU DONT MIND HAVING YOUR KINGDOM RAZED BY A BILLION PLUS PLAYER EVERY OTHER DAY. Yes. It’s that bad.

I've been playing for a little over 2 years. Haven't missed a consecutive login since I started. Certainly takes a long time to progress unless you're willing to spend entire paychecks-worth of goodies. Regardless, the recent Auto-Use feature has been probably the greatest feature introduced since I started playing. Saves time, but more importantly I'm not wasting a massive amount of food racing back at the mercy of the game and device processor. Thanks for making it free.

This is a very good game, I started playing this Today actually. But why is this game so good you may ask? Well it’s the idea of the game and the intuitive body it possess. When I first started playing this game, I thought it was one of those over advertised mobile games that at its core are just pieces of junk. As I started playing it though, in explored how in depth and how much effort was put into the charm and mechanics of the game. What I fond most charming about the game isn’t the amount of depth that you can go into, but rather the ease to play it. This isn’t your average gather, make, upgrade games like clash of clans or boom beach that requires countless hours soaked into playing it in order to get somewhere. This is very different to that. This isn’t as complicated as many other games and is very easy to pick up and play. The reason for this is because of how well it guides you through crucial development processes that you may miss in other games of this genre. All in all, this is an excellent and charming game that almost anyone can pickup, play, and enjoy. ;)
  • Harassment Feb 27, 2022

I like the game and have been playing for a few years. But I have a problem with the reporting aspect. The current guild I’m a member has been harassed by a small player with multiple accounts. We report him over and over various different ways and nothing. This is the only report in the reviews I’ve seen that I’m writing. Most members have him blocked and therefore not seeing some of the rants I’ve reported. I have no problem with trash talking or the fact it’s a war game but this guy takes it to a whole new level. He has been called out by some of the bigger players but again nothing. I believe he has multiple accounts (which nothing wrong with that) but harasses with one particular account. I know you guys are seeing whatever reporting we as a guild and what others may have done. Why hasn’t he been banned or deleted? Again, I like the game, but this guy has been doing this too long. FATSelenaia is the account name. Find him fast before he changes his name.
  • P2P Game which needs more f2p options. Apr 1, 2022

Although I understand where many people are coming from, stating the game is only for P2P players, I don’t believe this is true. Although IGG entices people to make purchases as much as they can, I think that people like Brando F2P who haven’t spent a dime on the game and has 1.2 billion might can go to show you that all you need is patience. Putting money into the game isn’t bad either. The 1 thing that I personally think is bad about the game is the obvious skill gap, you could be a 80 million might player with 1 million troops and easily get zeroed if your shield is down for 1 hour or less. Buying shields costs gems, gems cost money. Although you can earn gems through the colosseum you barely get anything. For small spenders who need gems I recommend buying the breakthrough bonus which is a great deal for 200,000 gems, or for a smaller amount, the let’s celebrate pack. Giving you a small amount of chests, around 18,000 gems and 75 tomes needed for T5 Research.

Out of all the games I am currently active within that are similar to this game(Kiss of War, Puzzles & Survival, State of Survival, Guns of Glory, King of Avalon, Infinite Galaxy, and so on!) Lords Mobile never fails to keep me interested and challenging!! And now that Vergeway has come about with the game, It has struck a huge interest in gaming style that I hadn’t known I was into! Vergeway is super challenging and takes a thought in your next move with the right tower or hero you place! I am addicted to it BUT I am all done with Chapter 1-8 already and wanting more stages!! Plus, I wish and I assume their will be more added onto it as in extra challenges per chapter like trials 1-3? I sure hope so! Also, even though I have finished everything I wish that their was a way to go back and do stages over again just to get more experience with all the tower, hero, troop, and spells that you have! Hope this gets seen and others feel the same way as me! Thanks for reading! #270 [dwb]Volt

Hi! I’m the lead singer of the popular band “Bastille”. I saw your ad playing on my music video and thought I’d give your game a try. The actors in your ads are great by the way, where’d you find them, Craigslist? Anyway, once I downloaded the game, I was astounded by the breathtaking gameplay. It felt as though I had a huge impact on what was happening in game. Also, the menus and map were not cluttered at all, and very easy to navigate. It’s almost as if you took clash of clans and removed everything remotely fun about it. That’s what I love in a game. I love upgrading buildings just so they can give me the ability to upgrade more buildings. I can’t wait to get to the point in the game where I can pwn a total scrub. Also, the idea of having like 5 different types of currency in the game is genius. Anyway, greatest game out there, also check out my very new song “Pompeii” it’s pretty good.

First off I will say I have since deleted the app. There is just too much going on for the laid back gamer who is just looking to waste a little bit of time between other activities or just relaxing. You have to appease your guild, which I was kicked out a number of times because I wasn’t growing fast enough, everyone wanted over 100k, in game would be called might, everyday. Then you have to research, construct, attack others, grow your leaders, and train an army. There is just too much to worry about and one attack from another person will set you back a weeks worth of time and effort. Then after like the first couple of constructs or research it takes days at a time to be able to have the other one available to you. It’s just a lot to worry about, too much, especially if you can’t get into a strong guild to help you. Oh and you have this coliseum thing to worry about, see almost forgot something, which involves your leaders you have to find time to train to be successful. This game will be too complicated for most to handle.
  • Need some gameplay changes Jan 22, 2021

I have been playing for a while and I really enjoy the aesthetics and the concept behind this game. However, there are two major issues I have run into while playing. Firstly, the game starts out pretty even with players that are the same rank and might as you, but as it progresses, you need more and more items that you have to spend gems on and the game quickly turns into a PayToWin scenario. Also a big flaw in the gameplay is that any base can attack any other unshielded bass, regardless of relative rank. This leads to top ranked (Castle 25) players attacking players that are Castle 10-20 which is no challenge at all and clear nuisance to the lower ranked players that are just trying to get better. I would like to see a ban on players attacking anyone more than 3 castle levels below their own, unless provoked by the lower player. And if the higher players do, they recieve significantly less loot attacking smaller players.
  • Notification Trouble Oct 31, 2018

    By VaIorien
This game is quite fun for the most part. The combat strategy is intriguing, the amount of things to do is high, and the game overall is a fun app to pass the time. One of the biggest features of this game is the real-time events that could happen at any point during the day, which makes the push notifications absolutely crucial. This system is fine for the most part but really begins to break down if you switch between accounts. I have had two instances where months of progress have been completely reversed because the app failed to push notifications after switching accounts. Overall the game is great, so long as you only play with one account on one device. Also, because the game is heavily pay to win, free to play users like myself do not see their intensive labor pay off in the long run. If you plan to have fun with the game over time, be prepared to spend a lot of money.

Ok I’m just going to say that this game is my most fav game to play but as you play the upgrades start taking a really long time and could even take days to finish whatever your upgrading. Then this is where those one time offers come in and you have to pay 1-20 bucks to get what you want, this is where I get really annoyed because the upgrades take so long so you buy speed ups with gems, then you run out of gems so then you only have one option, you buy those one time offers. It gets really annoying because i don’t want to spend that much money on a game but the upgrades take a long time and I love it way to much. If I had to give a recommendation it would be to shorten the amount of time needed to do upgrades, research, training, etc. But this is all I had to say and I hope that for the new people that want to play this game just be ready for a whole lot of waiting.

The most important aspect in the game is finding the right guild. The guild is where you may find true friends for life. Which is rare for online games. Without the right guild it's a nice game to pass the time with, but not something to put money into. Because your going to have to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars just to keep up. If your wealthy and want something to dump 10k-20k on you've came to the right spot. But definitely not a free to play game. Gameplay: almost exactly like "game of war". Opening your kingdom, hero quests, arena, and and burning free to play players are the fun personal aspects of the game. Joining a guild and having competitions with your mates on kvk, guild feasts, & might. Are group fun aspects but hugely expensive. Heroes: are almost completely useless unless gold. And these will cost you around $775 each. Not to mention that training troop times, and buildings / research times are crazy long timers even when your at Mach reduction. You'll spend hundreds to thousands on time reductions. A level 10 research average before any reductions u get through gear or research or helps. Will be around 300 days. After your reductions expect 60 days or more. Not to discourage you, but don't play unless you've got the wallet or time to invest. It's definitely not a game I would have picked up if I would have read a review like mine. Best Regards, Nutz

I like this game a lot, and am very surprised by how much free gems (premium game currency) that you can get playing this game. I just wish it were possible to buy premium hero medals with gems. Even if you have to buy the first pack of medals to unlock it, it would be nice if you could buy more with gems instead of money. I loved that you gave us all thousands of gems during the Christmas event though! And they reward us with gems after maintenance too. You can get very far with FTP though, and it’s waaaay less PTP than a lot of other mobile games. I especially like that you don’t use up stamina when you lose a hero stage. That was an unexpected surprise. In closing, I downloaded this game to get coins from tapjoy. I planned to uninstall it, but after playing, I got hooked! Love it! Can’t wait to see what exciting events lie in store. I’m a relatively new player, so I’m still learning the ropes! ;)

This game has to be accepted as a pay to win. You will spend money. You will lose most likely if you don’t. Having said that, f2p players find a nice nitch as a resource farmer and hyper. You can feed bigger members and the bank to ensure everybody who can pay to grow fast does, and then you do in the process from better gifts. Find your nitch and style, just for God’s sakes, don’t make Trickster your hero. I know it’s a game and you are free to do as you please, and it doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme, but you just look like a dummy. He has no value whatsoever as a leader in this game. That said, happy gaming. Technolabs make anyone able to get t4 fast. It’s a different beast. Stellar game if you go into it knowing it’s for spenders or self aware nitch finders who are selfless and love to help for the enjoyment of others. Be a farmer and feed your guild. You’ll be glad you did!

Personally I play phone games a lot and lords mobile has been too on my list on and off for like 3-4 years I played long ago then stopped and when I came back like 5-6 months ago I realized technolable and the packs that are only released after the first kvk in kingdom all are very rewarding mainly the cheap hunting gear they made champ gear more affordable for people who don’t whale and everything the thing is rates are terrible so rng plays a huge roll in your accounts overall ability but that being said the point is not to be the best it’s to meet a guild that helps out and find ways to become at least an annoyance to your enemy if you can’t directly hurt them due to there size ^~^ hope my feedback helps new gamers getting into the community ask questions plenty of people you play with have played before !
  • Clan Management Nov 12, 2017

    By Jcitti
First off, if you have the cash to blow through you will have fun. Dev’s should offer a free to play server for those who want to play the game to its best without the worry of some big spender taking over. The area most lacking is in the clan management area. There is not a good way to manage your members activity besides good old pen and paper. Please consider adding the following. 1) weekly helps- this allows us to track on a weekly basis how many helps new and existing members are providing each week. 2) weekly Dark Nest help- Allows is to see who’s participating in darknests. 2) weekly monster kills by level.- allows us to see who is contributing to killing monsters by level. 3) in game alarm- similar to we gamers, we would like to be able to sound an alarm in game. 4) Alliance Chat- in addition to clan chat and kingdom chat, we would like to be able to set up in game alliance chat to quickly notify our alliances of incoming attacks or defenses. 5) Rally Improvements- Allow players to remove their own reinforcements and not have to rely on the rally leader. Include the troop composition when viewing rally troops deployed. Currently we can’t see the total troop types in the rally, we can only see the troops sent individually which makes understanding the troop comp difficult. Thanks for reviewing!
  • Can’t take a break Mar 27, 2021

This game is pretty fun for a mobile game app. Good mechanics so far. Good events and well planned out tips hints. The best thing about this is that they give people who like to play regular a chance and have a advantage over the pay to win people. The only thing is I wish I could take a break. This game was made for war and attacking and farming stuff. The thing is I want to take a break after few days of non stop playing. Whenever I take a break I get attacked by two different people at way higher level then me in one day while I’m taking a break. It’s very frustrating and ruining my experience. I even use my shield things but that only last so long. So pls maybe develop something that can keep players safe once they long out, cause I can’t keep playing without knowing I can’t take breaks.

  • If you don’t pay up you no point in playing Oct 24, 2018

    By Clashofclanguy

It is a good game, but has a lot of problems. Pros: It is possible to free to play this game, it has great mini games within the game, and it let's you interact with people. Cons: It has an awful day/night cycle and there is an opinion to turn it off but their are now quest in the game that depend on the time of day to strong arm players into using a system they don't like, p2p will almost always beat you, bot accounts, hackers that can drop your shields, hard to monster hunter F2P, and more.

Odd but easy... Lots of different systems does make it hard to keep track of what's going on it needs a better interface system and most definitely needs a place where I can track everything I need something completely different for tracking cuz I can't tell what's going on half the time other than what I'm doing which whatever I'm currently doing is usually always easy it's the keeping track of things that's the hard part
  • Prepare to pay Feb 1, 2018

    By Bearaccoon
I played this game for a few months, pretty consistently. I didn't spend any money in all that time although I could have thrown the developers a few bucks since I did get a lot of entertainment out of it. There's a lot here to do, but you really are going to be a nobody in this game unless you spend a ton of money, which is one reason why I never spent anything, it wasn't really going to do anything to spend a little bit of money when everyone else is spending thousands. If you do want to spend that kind of money, just buy yourself a PS4 or a PC. Like most games, it gets repetitive after a while and there really is no end to the research and building, although after a year or so you might be able to max out all of your buildings. The big issue in this game is the conflict is almost always one sided, with the really powerful players just going after weak players. Getting attacked isn't so bad, but it does get annoying. It'd be more fun if the kingdoms we're organized in a way that players of a similar might were together but that would probably discourage spending money so it's unlikely that'll ever happen. So if you want to spend thousands of dollars on a game for your phone, this is probably a good investment, otherwise, save yourself some time and find a different game.

The game is smooth and fun even frustrating that it's a huge money grab. My issue is the lack of control over your own account information. I've made multiple attempts to change the email address on the account, to the point where I think IGG makes it difficult on purpose? Please make it easier for players to set up accounts the way they want it. Edit: if the server crashes and you get attacked you will lose everything. They make it difficult for you to get things back.

It's an ok game. A part of the game that is a scam is getting rare parts for gear. The chances of you getting enough parts per monster hunt or by purchasing packs are very low. For example festive bells, gargantua eye, glistening pearl etc.... Also it would be nice to have more options when it comes to shields for example a 10 or 12 hour shield.

I have recently needed to edit my review. It IS a good time waster. I have tried to play this game and give it multiple chances. All of my complaints are purely from personal taste. Like brussel sprouts, yes it can be good, but I still keep giving them chances to see if my tastes have changed. The art style is too cartoonish. The tutorial takes a long time but explains things well for new players. It's hard to remember which zone does what and you can't place certain buildings in certain places.

I have played this game for a year and finally decided to write a review as I am on the fence about deleting it. It’s clear based on other reviews and personal game experience that it’s not a level playing field. I am ok with small costs as they have to make money but these people have ridiculous amounts of power and lets say F2P you may die in real life before you actually get there if you ever do. It’s a fun game when starting out and leveling but then you hit that wall of spending a lot of money or getting hammered all day. Even with all that, if there was a cool down period after getting attacked it would help to recover but there isn’t. Also there is no level blocks on who can attack who so these players with crazy power destroy you vs having any sort of chance. Shields are ok but don’t think you will always have them and it’s over as soon as it goes down. You can shelter but only 12 hours at a time so if you have a job or sleep good luck because you have 11:59 of freedom before attacked. It’s honestly because of these few things that this game has become a job not a game. To the developer, don’t reply with your generic statement like you always do since it’s just a dumb tactic to not address anything.

I played for over a year and spent somewhere around $1,000. I was logging on 6-7 times a day and it consumed all of my day. I quit a few months ago because it just became too much. Guild demands are so high and you have to be online at all times! If you don’t protect your troops at all times you will lose everything. People spend insane amounts on money on this game and prey on low level bases when you’re offline. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve forgot to shield my base and troops when I went to work and how much money I lost. Even when I swore that I shielded, I’d wake up or get out of work to see my base leveled and be out $20 in Troops that I just got the day before with boosts. I can’t tell you how many times my shield went down for 5 minutes tops and I was destroyed in that TINY window of time. Different guilds talk and time your shields out to know the SECOND it drops! It’s such an addictive game and I just couldn't afford to spend more money to have rich people with no lives steal it when I’m working or sleeping. It was such a waste of my life! The only reason I gave it two stars was because I made a few good friends from the game who I still talk to. Great way to meet good people but it’s financially, mentally and time consuming...

This is a very good game not only does it allow people of different languages and culture to get together and help each other grow and there are many game modes besides from the typical mechanic of attacking people and gathering resources. The problem is you can only do this for so long until you realize it’s pay to win. There isn’t one strong player in the game who hasn’t bought at least one premium hero or pack to help “strengthen” their kingdom and in the game outwardly throws these “deals” at you almost every time you log into the game and continues afterwards. People spend up to hundreds of dollars to enhance ONE premium hero to a legendary or even epic state. In my own personal experience in the game I’ve seen a person with 1 million soldiers go to 0 and they spent 50 dollars training them just for another person who spent even MORE to kill them. If you are a person reading this who doesn’t trust them self not to spend money to get ahead, don’t waste your money on this game it’s not a good idea. The only reason I gave this two stars is because, for a while, I enjoyed playing this game but I saw too many people with a lost sense of what a good game is. The answer to that by the way is equal chances to get ahead.

I have played this game for 4 years. As of Saturday I have officially quit playing the game. For new players I do not suggest downloading it. Not worth it unless you are willing to spend thousands on the game to be remotely competitive. They keep releasing heavily p2p updates each time while doing nothing for the f2p. It becomes so taxing to even remotely keep up. Which as a result over the past year a large portion of its f2p and several major p2p have quit playing. It’s a endless money pit. Not a bad idea, it is a business but this type of thinking just makes the game lose what fun it used to have. For example the player level cap of 60 is annoying. I know for a fact I am not the only player that has countless XP sitting around that goes nowhere. By now I could of easily been 100+...T4 take forever to get...T5 are a factor I’ll never get. Can’t finish or get close to finishing any of the p2p trees requiring archaic tomes...just a reminder that your f2p player base is what turns p2p. But when you crush the fun by making the game “which one of us is willing to dump the most money into a MOBILE GAME” it’s just poisoning itself. Only thing that keeps most people playing are the friends they’ve made.
  • They really mean Pay to play Dec 18, 2018

The game content is as one would think from reading other reviews or from reading its page. The game itself is fine, constantly updating to provide the best service for its users. The kingdoms are now open for migration from one to another which halts a lot of players, especially those who do not pay any money, from gaining anything. This is almost always: person with 25 billion might vs someone with max 50 million might. Remember it is a game about war! But it defeats the point if you can never get away from them, they’re everywhere, and they always win. It’s not a war anymore. But if you spend money you can get your castle to 25 billion might in a jiffy, just might be poor as a cause. Other than that misfortune there are some minor things that bother me. Every human character is white based. The game has people from the world playing but only white characters. The title lord is again a tile that can be vague or specific to the male sex. But a lord as the latter has a powerful position. So “Lords and ladies” is just the powerful men and then those females who also play. But overall it’s alright :3 would recommend a personal sound for notifications.

They cheat you! Be aware of money cheat! Jul 14, 2021

    By Ro
They will drain you of money and you will not be able to get your money back. If you try to hit a monster Right when it expires you will lose all your energy that you purchased. If you write the customer service and tech department they will just ignore you. They in fact tell you you’re the problem. Customer service = 0 Tech service = 0 Stealing and cheating you is a normal thing.

  • Only for big spenders now Dec 12, 2017

This game was really fun when my husband and I started playing a year ago. There was always something to construct, research, forge, and train. As we got higher, wait times got longer. Which isn’t that big of a deal if you’re even a little bit social because of the amazing people you meet on the game. There’s days that the only reason you log on is because of them as you have 100+ days left before your research finishes. A few months ago, however, the developers began to get greedy. They decided offering buyable heroes that takes $11,000 to max is a good idea. It went downhill fast from there. They are slowly edging out the free to play and moderate pay to play spenders (like myself) in favor of only having the ones that can spend more than a house costs. This is evidenced by their latest update coming in a few hours. The shields that protect our troops when we’re not able to be online (you know when we’re working for the money to spend on the game, or sleeping cause we aren’t bots), will no longer be effective against attacks. They have received countless complaints about this, but it seems they no longer care to listen to even the ones that do pay. I will lose so many of my guild mates if they implement this, which will cause me to quit as well. So they will successful in only wanting to have $$$ spenders. So if you can spend upwards of $50,000, then this game is for you!
  • Blatant scammers this should be removed from AppStore Oct 19, 2019

The game creator give zero care to player enjoyment and engagement. The balance of power is mediocre at best (people can literally get 50x times stronger than you in the first day of a new kingdom not because they played as much or know the game they just spent a lot of money. Even if you try to spend little amounts here and there the game ultimately puts YOU at a disadvantage if you don’t commit to buying out the store every day. Every update there’s more expensive toys for those who spend heavy amounts of money. But that’s not all, recently a severe miscalculation in currency caused people to get deals off packs very easily. Instead of owning up to this mistake they banned people telling everyone playing that they were cheating when it was totally IGG’s fault that it happened with their incompetence. To make this worse for everyone who still spent money on these deals they were forced to pay the non advertised increased price or have their account held to ransom. To be clear this is ILLEGAL you can’t force people to pay a non advertised increase price in anywhere but because IGG is placed in Singapore they don’t have to follow laws that apply ANYWHERE ELSE. This basic apathy for players shows just how little big companies care once they are on top for the consumers who put them there. If you’re looking for a game to play just don’t play a mobile cash cow like this.
