  • It’s great, but needs a major fix! Mar 10, 2019

    I just got this product the other day and I installed it. The lights are bright and colorful and I love it very much. This app gives you many options for colors and what patterns you want. Butttt, the music and microphone part definitely needs some updating. The music part of the app only connects to certain apple music songs. I think it definitely needs to be able to connect to any music apps for a better experience. I’ve also have tried the microphone a couple of times to try to get the music that my friend was playing out of the speakers to have the lights go with the beat. It worked once but once I tried again, it didn’t work:(

    I have read all the previous reviews and I’m pretty anul when it comes to figuring things out but I had no issues as of yet! I do, however, have it hooked up to a car battery in my garage, so there’s that, 😆. Hopefully when I eventually install it on my truck, it will still function just as well! I’m so 80’s, I have LED lights EVERYWHERE! 👍🏻🙌🏻 Now to have colored ones that change even with music, what more can a girl ask for?

    Everything works fine with the connection of my phone and the lights. The only thing that I have a problem with is the music and the lights collaboration only working when you play the song from iTunes. I believe it should be compatible with any music sight you choose to spend your money on especially if it's still an Apple product.

    every thing on the app is great. EXCEPT for the fact that there are only 7 SONGS to choose from. the ability to have the lights sync with the beat of the music was the most exciting part & i cannot even do that. its supposedly gives “instructions” to add music but they are unclear & i’ve tried to read them over & over & follow the steps but nothing is working.

    Truly 4 stars for the fact that the left and right become un-synced in music mode but that could be the fact that I have a box running each side individually. Cant use purchased music. Otherwise no complaints. Gave 5 stars because I don’t believe this deserves a 2 star rating

    Spent the extra money for an led strip that can connect to music but I was upset to find out that feature doesn’t work. Then I plugged in my lights before I hung them and they worked so I hung them, then after hanging them I tried to connect them back to my phone and it never worked. The remote works but I cannot use the Bluetooth feature at all, if I would of seen these reviews I would’ve opted for a cheaper set of lights. Mine showed that it was connected, never said anything about an illegal connection they just never turned on via my phone. Dissapointing.

    Blue and Green are switched on the color “ring” as well as on the static list. Connection to light is problematic, and software instructions page is not that helpful. Instructions that do work (thanks to another reviewer) should be put in this LedBle software app page. Developer, please do so! Thank you! Here they are again: 1. Unplug Light/Bluetooth module. 2. Completely close out LedBLE software app. 3. Shutdown Bluetooth on your phone. 4. Open LedBle software app. 5. Start Bluetooth on your phone. 6. Plug in Light/Bluetooth module. 7. Start a "scan" in the LedBle software app. Device should now connect. If no connection, verify pin out is correct going to Led, that you have power, that software was shutdown completely, and this process was done in the correct order etc! and repeat the process.

    READ THIS! I bought your product! Right off your website! I then wrote a very sincere review looking for help on how to connect, my app was telling me that I was using “illegal equipment.” This is the reply I got from the developers... ["Dear customer, I am very sorry that because you have purchased counterfeit and pirated products in the market that are not authorized by the manufacturer, illegal devices cannot be connected. Please support genuine, thank you for your cooperation!"] ...I bought the LED lights straight from their fricken website and they tell me this crap! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! RETURN THEM IF YOU CAN!!

    Man I would of loved to use these lights on my car. But I keep having issues connecting the lights to the app. When I keep refreshing it says illegal equipment. I would of loved to see these things on. I already closed app turned off Bluetooth disconnected the lights and turned it all on at the same time and still says no device found. FIX THIS PLEASE! I’m on iPhone 7 Plus

    I’ve downloaded, deleted the app, then downloaded it again so many times, but it just will not work. The lights on my longboard work sometimes, but if I even try to open the music, it freezes the whole app and I have to delete it and re-download it again. It’s pretty disappointing to not have any audio, but Hopefully the app developers will work out these issues. It has the potential to be a really great product.

    If you could add the rhythm feature back to the app that would be great it has a speed feature now that you updated it and it doesn’t change colors based on the music anymore

    This used to work fine, it was connected and everything. Now since the most recent update I can’t even connect. I’ve tried restarting everything and it won’t even show any Bluetooth devices on this app. Please fix!!

    The microphone and blue tooth options work great! But I’ve tried to sync my music time and time again turning off I cloud services and pressing sync to sync my laptop and phone but when I re-open the app it just doesn’t show up. It’s frustrating honestly so please tell me how to fix this.

    The app worked good for a long time and then I accidentally removed the bluetooth connection from my settings and now the app won’t connect back to my phone and I’ve tried everything I’ve read. I don’t know what else to do and also when I plug in lights it’s like it knows it’s there but it says illegal equipment and it’s never done that before so idk what to do but was a great app.

    I got my lights installed and connected my phone to them without a problem. They are bright and beautiful. The microphone works great but the music however needs work. I have Apple Music and was still unable to sync my music. If I were able to use every function I paid for I would rate this 5 stars.

    My app keeps saying “illegal equipment!” Then says “no device found” thus leaving my light and app useless. It’s frustrating that I paid money just for them to stop working and be stuck on “tricolor flash”. Please help resolve this problem or find a way to get me new lights because I don’t like wasting my money. I enjoyed the lights at first when the app worked it was great but now it’s a reminder that money was wasted if this problem does not get fixed.

    So got the LEDs connected to my motorcycle power it up and tried to connect the app with the lights with no success. I have an iPhone with the latest update still with no luck. Keeps giving me a no devices found and a “illegal equipment” message on the app. Tried disconnecting them from power source, tried turning on and off Bluetooth with no success. Pointless app! I’m super frustrated at this point trying to figure this out.

    Ever sense the new update 2 days ago, the app no longer connects to the lights, tried restarting my phone, redownloading the app and anything else I could think of but nothing works, lights are stuck on in red with no way to turn them off. Had to go under the car and disconnect the box to get them to shut off so I could legally drive my car again. Fix this problem ASAP.
