  • Great App please make an iCal Subscription too! Sep 22, 2016

I use this app all the time. It's great to have the lectionary in your packet when looking at the preaching year ahead. It would be super helpful to have an iCal subscription included with the paid purchase. Thank you for making this app so detailed and user friendly.

My Diocese (Quincy, ACNA) uses Common Worship and its lectionary. I use this app for every service I plan. My only suggestion would be to provide for other translations. Most of us use ESV. The Rev. Cn. Eric T. Raskopf
  • NRSV is the Bible Version used. May 16, 2013

There is a review that isn't sure what bible version is included. As this is an official Church of England app it is using their official version of the bible, the NRSV. If you buy a subscription it clearly states that the version is NRSV.

I have paid for this, and my payment accepted but the Lectionary has not appeared. I needed to update my card - which I did, but still no joy. What do I do now? I have been receiving this for the past few years. Only giving 1 star although I have found it excellent in the past and 5 stars.

The app keeps jumping back to a previous week and mid week services aren't showing. I've also just had an alert to say the app will begin to charge me soon but I can't seem to unsubscribe.

It is not free. It is a trial, then you have to subscribe. Do not be fooled. You can download the readings list for free just by doing a Google search.

It appears to want to charge me, and won't let me get beyond subscribing to hymnsam! Is this a chargeable app, or is it not?
  • Which version? May 14, 2013

This app is frustrating to try to use mostly because it doesn't admit which version it follows. Double checking other sources defeats the purpose. Why not provide that info right up front ? My guess is it is the Episcopal version. The 'title'/name adds to the confusion.

Good app, does what it says, but is totally unclear about subscription price and conditions

This is an annual subscription, not a Lectionary. And the fee is exorbitant for what it is. If I purchased a book, or just about any other app, I'd pay once. It's not like the content changes. I've deleted it and found the same content elsewhere for a much better price.

Bought and used for four years. Then the liars went to subscription. Unworthy of the Church of England.
