Sound not working
Dec 5, 2020 Could you please help me? Sound isn’t working and I want to give 5 stars but I need the sound. I am on iphone8 -
Feb 11, 2021 I've always been fond of music and growing up I neglected a lot of the theory I learnt during high school because of friends and such. But being the older person I am now and having more time to dedicate myself to learning, I found this app extremely helpful in retaining some lost knowledge as well as advance further in the theory of music. My dad has always been musically gifted, being able to play a multitude kf instruments and read sheets. I aspire to be like him and with this app, I can!more -

Feb 1, 2021 The lessons are keyboard based, but the keyboard is tiny and the app cannot be viewed horizontally. I am on the major second section, and am asked to play two notes, but there is no sound when I play them. The explanation of major second is confusing. Why is it a major second between C and D, two semi-tones between, and also E and F, one semi-tone between? You cannot advance to other levels without passing earlier levels. The pace of this app is excruciatingly slow. The C is always present on the keyboard, which is not real life and I would like the option to turn it off.more -
Feb 13, 2021 So far it's been pretty cool and helpful, but I'm still doing the very basic classes. Only thing is that I saw a couple of typos, and the lessons would be a lot better if you could speed them up. Otherwise I recommend it for people who are just starting outmore -
This needs a lot of work, both on the technical and educational quality.
Feb 8, 2021 I am 47 years old. I believe my self to be of at least average intelligence. I have been playing drums in all kinds of rock bands for the last 30 years of my life. I know how to read a drum chart. I’ve put “musician” as my occupation on my tax return. This app, at least in the three beginner modules I’ve sampled (naturals, prime 1, second 1), is confusing and has weird technical issues. I paid for 3 months of subscription before really giving it a try. I hope it gets better.more

Jan 8, 2021 Wanted to find an app for advanced music theory. This wasn't it but that's not the problem. The initial content was taught in a convoluted way, and used lingo that I've never heard of in music. There's better resources out there for beginners quite franklymore -
Jan 28, 2021 Major Second course 1. Question: The interval you hear is a major second, true or false. Me: True. Course: Incorrect, the interval you heard was a major second. Me: Gives app 2 stars. -

Feb 4, 2021 I had recently wrote a review stating how there was issues with the app marking correct answers wrong, I sent a screenshot of it to the developers right after. Woke up today to an email stating there is an update and the issue has been resolved. Absolutely perfect customer service, paired with (IMO) the most comprehendable music theory app out there 👌more -
Jan 4, 2021 It's a wonderful app! But it does assume that the learner is learning through a piano and can already read all the notes on the piano. All in all, a truly wonderful app with an easy to navigate interface. -
Feb 21, 2021 Perfect for me as a complete beginner to music theory! -
Jan 26, 2021 A flavorful feast of flammable flair. This app delivers what it claims to be delivering, it may be just a tad bit slow at registering answers to questions though I suppose if you want substance over style, this is the app for you!

Jan 9, 2021 great app, similar to duo lingo for learning format. would give 5 stars if there were not so many "pay or be inconvenienced" occurences in the free version. -
Oct 16, 2020 This is just like the Duolingo app for languages just this is one for music! I love this app just one thing: My tablet is lagging when I open the app can you please fix it? Thx😊

Dec 12, 2020 I turned off my DND just in case, but there still isn't any sound. :-( -
Feb 3, 2021 Seems decent so far as a duolingo style music theory tool. Perhaps not the most polished of apps, but looks to have fairly good content. Definitely has potential to be something genuinely good if the author intends on adding improvements.more -
Dec 11, 2020 Buggy. Misaligned icons from vert to horiz layout, slow transition screen especially medal screen (confetti on screen bogs down performance). Just very process heavy, eats up battery life quick. But neat idea, i like the app, just not very well made.more

What’s Groovy
It's pretty cool so far, but when I am supposed to play a note on the piano, it says to swipe or scroll the keys to show more keys. This does not work. I learned through trial and error that the rightmost key is B3, sometimes I'm supposed to play a key that isn't available so I just have to get it wrong and hope next time it asks for a key that I can touch.
