It's a decent tool, but a little too basic. You shouldn't expect much from a free app, but just having speed settings of regular and slow is not sufficient. Sure, as was mentioned, rock and blues provide a better ease of entry, but for this app to really be useful, it needs to still have more fine control of the tempo. A great start, but a ways to go.

Just now downloaded app and started to play along with the first couple of rock riffs I understand from reading, D tab is whole band except bass, A tab is bass part, not sure B,C? Forgive me if this is explained to somewhere else I just couldn't find it thanks Btw. I get what you're doing with the neck of the guitar but I'll have to agree with others, it is a little confusing

This is not a good app for beginners. Even if I try to slow it down by pressing b it is still too fast to see the tabs! You have to let the user go at their own tempo or pace. Lack of temp control is a problem. The slow down button b is not slow at all for a begginer the tab display moves too fast even in slow mode! If you don't want to fix the tempo issue then at a least provide the tabs separately. That way the user can learn on their own and play with the track later.

There is a lack of many options to consider this app worthy. Some examples: You can't switch off the metronome or just control the volume of it. You can't decrease or increase the tempo...and well, the look in general is ugly.

You need to turn the guitar other way around. If I want to practice - your detail must be like looking the guitar from above. It is extremely difficult to turn everything around in my mind (as looking towards someone playing)

Only basic training of a few loops, but it is free and set up very nicely, I will try out the paid version. Better than various other basic bass learning apps.

I really like this app - thanks. Just one thing - it would be better if the fretboard was the other way round ie the same way round as tab is written.

Just downloaded this app and it looks OK for learning some riffs. The score looks like it's written a couple of octaves higher than the fret animation shows though....

If the fretboard was the right way around that would make things easier.
