My daughter loved this app, but for some reason Fisher Price stupidly restricted access and wants us to move to a new app which is a piece of garbage. I wish they'd bring this app back. It was truly special.

I am trying desperately to find something close to this app for all my children but especially for those with autism who absolutely loved this and learned so much from it and it’s high quality interactive capabilities

So sad that this is disabled now... I would literally pay to bring this app back. My son, only one year old, loved this app. He doesn't understand why I won't let him play his game anymore 😭

My 9 month old baby likes to tap my phone screen. I downloaded this app and when he realized that tapping my screen made sounds and showed shapes he became every interested. He loved it. Sad it’s gone.

This was a fun game for my son who was about 2 at the time and he's just played ever since, the words are nice and clear ait gives him pently of time to respond, it is a great pass time for the mini's.

My daughter thought this was fun for a few captivating moments. Nothing insane, nothing terrible. Certainly enough to keep the app. The part that made this a ‘no’ for me is trying to exit. You are forced to pull up an ad & click on it taking you to a web page where you then can force everything closed. Sometimes it glitches & your stuck. This is on an iPhone X btw.

This app used to save us from many tantrums and cries, ha! When our kids don’t get their way, they are forced to play with this app. We have just prepared our kids with it. They suddenly realized that the app was gone. The removal of the app has never saved us from those tantrums and cries, So we decided to give them their new app that has new stuff, so I recommended them to go check it out.

Another one lost. Please bring back the old versions. Just release that thing as a new app and let us decide if we want it for our kids.

This app initially was cute, especially for first starting out. Not much to it so it keeps lil ones attention. After I downloaded the app my iPad kept crashing and starting doing weird things on its own. My ipad is up to date so idk what is wrong with the app. So, no thanks.

My granddaughter can't get enough of Fisher Price Shapes and Colors. The shapes dance around and sing. It even has a colored keyboard! Plus a peek-a-boo puppy to make any toddler giggle.

  • NO sound issues! Oct 6, 2012

    By Mason.Victoria
So I had downloaded this app & let my son play it, it had sound & everything, well the next morning my Son gets my phone & it has no sound.... I was like okay? But I figured out that my phone had actually been in vibrate. When I turned vibrate off & the sound on, the sound started working. (Which is the most obvious fix) so don't let all That's complaints about the sound stop u from getting it, bc it does work. I think these people are just a little ignorant. Lol

  • Playful app with some thoughtful touches May 9, 2012

This app is colorful and easily keeps my daughter interested for at least a few minutes. The level 1 "game" can be a bit overwhelming at times, however, as it seems to react to even the most subtle movements. As an adult I found myself having a hard time at first figuring out what the characters/shapes were reacting to, but I trust that Fisher Price has done their homework and know better than I what babies and toddlers best react to. I really appreciated the lack of banner ads and other UI elements that other free "baby" apps often have. This means it's (almost) impossible for your child to exit the app by using the touchscreen (they can still pull down the notification slider or tap incoming alerts). I would have liked an option to disable the home button completely as my daughter quickly learned that what pops up after she pushes it is much more forbidden (and therefore much more interesting) than the app itself. However, I understand that a.) that would make it very difficult for anyone to get out of the app and b.) disabling the home button is probably something apple doesn't allow app developers to do. Overall, I recommend this app and haven't come across any sound issues yet, running on an iPhone 4 with ios 5.1.1

The functions are very limited, probably better to buy an electronic sound toy than using this app. Will keep babies occupied for 5 mins before they get bored and/or drive adults crazy with repeated sound. Mode 1: touch screen to have up to 5 shapes appear, shapes leave a trail of mini shapes and bounce off each other. The tilt/motion is very sensitive, and you have to keep it flat on the table. Not the ideal position for a drooling baby. If you tilt in any way, the shapes slide in that direction, get stuck and the bouncing noise is very annoying. Mode 2: five shapes to touch, and they sing a unique song and dance. You can also play the five piano keys, and four items on top (curtain, mirror ball, stars and streamers) for sound & animation. Once you touch all five shapes, they do another group song/dance, but that's it. There is no way to switch from one mode to another without exiting app, which is annoying, but might be good so babies can't mistakenly get out of app.

Level two features a one-octave musical keyboard but the sounding pitches don’t correlate to the notes on the keyboard. As a music teacher I understand the importance of training the ear at a young age but having the wrong pitches only serves to confuse kids later on.

This was my daughters FAVORITE game. And the new “update” is nothing like this and it is so sad. Why would you get rid of such a great interactive app?! I would rate it five stars. But you got one because of the big tears that my one year old had when the only app she uses didn’t work. Thanks for ruining our day.
