  • It’s a good app! Just a few suggestions. Aug 12, 2020

    By EmberTomaras
The app is definitely helpful, and I’ve enjoyed it and find it unique amongst similar apps, but there are a few things worth mentioning that could be worked on. The first would be that you have to gain points to have an advance available as opposed to having that as an option but also giving a base amount once direct deposits have been verified through our checking accounts. I do also like the option to add value to your advance by scanning receipts, but I purchase about half of my things with cash for better budgeting purposes, so the need to find receipts with my account number was a bit disappointing and I think it might be something good to consider for others as well! I have enjoyed you all’s platform and it truly is helpful and unique, I just thought these things might give users an even better experience with you all!

Great app and easy to use! I've tried other apps like Dave Inc and Earnings but they were too expensive with their additional loan fees. The Klover app was very user friendly and honest! Not only was my profile approved the same day, but I also got the funds that i needed directly deposited into my account the same day- in minutes actually! I would certainly recommend Klover to anyone who needs a "Boost" until their next payday.

Firstly, as a person who has a long-standing consistent direct deposit history with a relatively high-earning occupation, the most I have ever qualified for is $45 off the bat. If I factor in the “points system” (which I have mixed good and bad feelings about), the maximum has been $70. This is typically during a week where I work many days in a row and allow my location services to be on at all times with this app. During weeks of paid vacation, I’ve seen this drop down to $10 (LOL) I regularly log into upload receipts, as I use several receipt tracking apps for points. NEVER have I seen anywhere near the $130 advertised all over the place. The interface/design of the app is lovely & modern. The “instant” boost costs $9 and is processed the following business day if requested after 10:30AM CST (rendering the “instant” perk virtually useless and an unnecessary $9 fee (which is also by far the highest “instant” fee among its competitors). When I add up all these irritating obstacles and shortcomings, I find myself using this particular app among the last if I find myself in a pinch in need of cash, as I know the reality is I may receive $25 in like five business days in most scenarios. Typically, my cash flow situation is solved by then, rendering this app more tedious and useless. FYI, apps like Solo, Branch, MoneyLion, Brigit, and even FloatMe have actual “Instant” perks which cost half are literally instant.

Great so far! The only complaint I have about this app is the charge for immediate funds. Realistically we only use these apps for on the spot money but 7 dollars to get it immediately on top of another 4 dollars for boosted money. Come on!

  • Great Service! May 11, 2020

I used to use Earnin. I used to think that their service was helpful. But, they have given me too many issues since I have been working from home due to COVID-19. Since they track your location to determine your earnings, I don't have anything available since I have been working from home. Then they said they needed to verify my work through my work email address. I gave it to them. They said it didn’t match and they couldn’t verify it. So, I still couldn’t access any funds. Nonsense! I decided to start looking for alternatives. Then I found Klover. The whole process was seamless! I signed up and I was able to get the money that I needed immediately. This is a great service! Glad I found it. I deleted the Earnin App.

  • Inconsistent, and bad customer service Dec 11, 2020

    By Mfmikef
I’ve had this month for up to 3 months. Things were going fine, besides the normal issues you’d get among at other apps too. Main issue first started when an expedited request I mad at 5.00 on a Sunday didn’t hit my account until Friday morning 5 days later the same day customer service finally got back to me. The 4-5 business days shouldn’t be that long for a simple email considering usually first responses don’t even solve the problem if it’s something that still hasn’t fixed itself within those 4-5 days. It’s also inconsiderate considering most people using this app cannot wait 4-5 days for something they expedited in less than 1 and still get forced to pay a 9.99 charge (for $100 advance). The final straw came when all the sudden my bank connection needed to be reconnected and I kept getting the same message when I went to do so “Your account already connected” Plaid reached back to me within a day explaining what to do as well as telling me to reach out to Klover, which I of course did before hand. Still 6 days later no email response. I actually sent a 3rd message out to Klover as I was furious over the customer service to just cancel my account. Rather than emailing me back over my original issue or even trying tj solve ANY issue I’m having with them which I made clear in my final email they just rather not dealt with any of it and canceled my account for me. Super disappointing.

I never give the personal bank info they ask for like your passwords and stuff to anyone or entity ever doesn’t matter how legit or who you are but annoyed at myself for falling for exactly what was worried about..worse is can’t do much about it yet and unsure if anything will happen. All I’m going to say is they ask for all the info and process it and then nothing - they got all my info and not getting anything - don’t think they’re not checking stuff - It’s shady when they say what they require as in how long accounts been open amounts etc etc and I surpass they’re requirements by far. The reason they give that I can’t use them isn’t true, I clearly do have what they say i don’t. The to top it off you can’t delete anything. Or change anything. You can submit a request where they’ll get back to you in a few days it says but that’s it. So they have all the info I can’t delete or change anything or close account nothing they got it and won’t give me anything and now crossing my fingers they process my request who knows when. If i hear back at all but who knows I just don’t like this at all it’s not right. Even if they do i guarantee it’s going to be a back and forth long drawn out hard time if and when anything is undone. I don’t advise i warn do not use this.

Couple of issues I have with the app is 1) To deposit money immediately, the transaction fee was $9.99 which I think is way too high 2) I really don't like that I HAVE To allow the app to have access to my location at all times. I was getting the $100 cash advance for months and paying back on time. Then I updated the app recently and now there is no option to receive $100 cash advance.

Easy to use and I was able to get an advance same day so I could fix my car. It has great budgeting tools! Things have changed. After getting several 100 dollar boosts after each payday and always paying them back on time, I went from being eligible for a 100 boost to being eligible for 10 dollars. Nothing financially has changed for me.

    By dang inch hah Nd
I submitted a request for the loan about 30 minutes ago, haven’t received the funds yet. Not too concerned however they did say they could take up to an hour. Using the app was extremely easy. The one star that I have given your app right now, Is it only because I have yet to receive the funds. I got a text message 30 minutes after submitting my app to rate this. Once the funds are in my account I’ll be more than happy to get five stars. -suggestion to the developers, wait to send out a review until cash has hit the bank account and you have submitted the funds just a suggestion. Updated: 1 hour after downloading got funds. As promised 5 stars!

  • Update: Jun 10, 2020

    By ZeeKay915
Okay so somehow the issue resolved itself overnight; at around 1am I deleted the app and reinstalled it again, and I was able to link my debit card again and request an advance. Not sure what had happened before but I do think it needs to be looked into. Thanks!! So I do like the app but I’m curious as to why I was able to get a boost, repay it on June 5th, and when out of curiosity I checked to see when I’d be able to get another boost should I need one, I saw that the app is not updating to show that my payment has gone through nor is it allowing me to request another advance. I thought it needed updating but I’m on the latest version, so is this something that can be fixed?

  • Quick and Easy to use Jan 14, 2021

    By Le petit Madame
The app is very user friendly and quick to use. The only thing I wasn’t too happy about was when I initially came in it said I would be qualified for 130$ advance?? I thought maybe the “boosts” were something you did to get the extra $30 o top of a max credit of 100$ but was sorely mistaken to find they only allowed me 30$ cash advance. It’s also a bit upsetting that right now you can’t request a rate increase. Aside from that, I was shocked at how quickly I was able to earn points for my max boost, and was happy with how quickly everything processed. I would definitely look into it if you’re looking for some quick extra cash if you’re in a bind.

  • Overall, a solid app that’s easy to use. Oct 23, 2020

    By NRM1234321
Always offering ways to earn more points to get higher boosts. Only 3 requirements that you have to meet, 3 deposits within the past 60 days, that’s easy and understandable. But these next 2 are what get me. The last 3 paychecks they check for have to be same amount no differences or you don’t qualify, and you have to be on a weekly or Bi-weekly pay schedule. I’m in sales, I get paid semi monthly, and one is commission other is a small check. I could NEVER qualify because my 15th and 30th check will never be the same, let alone that following 15th would have to be too! Like come on now, set a minimum deposit over last 3 months, and if someone who gets paid semi monthly and the last day of the month check is the smaller, don’t approve a boost until the 1st of the following month so you can guarantee your $$

The app is ok and pays out but charges more to put in your bank instantly then it gives you. I used about 650 points to get $15 (which is fine because it's really easy to make points) but then had to pay $18.99 back. That is the only problem other than that I love it.

  • Got what I wanted, but a little difficult Jan 3, 2021

    By AndyWarholandNico
I got the cash advance I was looking for and I really appreciated the transparency within the app of how your “points” correlate with the cash payout you can get. I also really like that you can do things from within the app to boost your points and watch your potential pay out increase in real time. I had a little trouble with the layout/design of the website, as it constantly seemed as though text was on top of each other, and I constantly thought that I was going to click the wrong button or enter into the wrong field as I was typing as a result, but somehow I got through the set up process without any major errors. Higher fees than other cash advance apps, but better transparency. Overall satisfied.

I really needed a loan yesterday to pick up medication. Klover made me enter in my debit card information for the second time this week. I've taken out and repad loans before, so this made me feel suspicious of this company's practices. In addition, I was flabbergasted that this company will charge 9.99 for an instant delivery for "maybe" getting your money quickly and under 5/6 hours. However, the app finally decided to not blame my bank and I was back into the system by early a.m. today. So far, I was able to take out a small amount and I've paid 2.99 for immediate delivery. This time though, the company is guaranteeing my money will be delivered within an hour. It's been 25 minutes, so I'm hoping that the deposit will actually follow through. I'm willing to be proven wrong. One positive: I appreciate Klover having a cash out limit based on payback ability and current income. I don't mind not being able to take out the full 100 because I understand the smaller loan amount is meant to help mitigate overdrafts. So I really agree with that practice. I'm hoping this new delivery time is accurate - we'll see

Loved it at first , no other stuff thrown in . Just direct and to the point. I even started saving receipts for the first time in my life . And then the bank issue. It is important to update your login credentials every few months to keep your accounts as secure as possible. The fact that you can not just unlink the bank acct and re-link backup bc someone changed their bank login info is, for lack of a better word, shocking. Tbh I thought they were lying to me until I saw all these other comments. The best part, which isn’t where I spent months paying on time etc never late to be banished, it was where when I asked if there was a timeline, I was told I don’t qualify- which didn’t even make sense nor what I was asking. That’s it , they never responded to me again when I asked for clarification on what they meant by that. Eventually after a few days of being ignored, I asked to just delete my acct and I’d move on. Guess you’re not allowed to do that either bc I’m at 5 days and counting w/o a response. Two stars bc it had potential and im writing this on a Friday. Disappointing.

Downloaded the app when I needed some extra money, hoping this would be one that actually worked out. Nope. Just like all the others. I linked my bank account, I have recurring direct deposits weekly from work, but the only way I would qualify for anything is to scan my receipts and then refer a friend. Why would I refer a friend in need when they wouldn’t be able to get any help either? Then I get a text one morning saying “good news, we have qualified you for a boost up to $100” So I open my clover app and literally no change in my account, still need to scan receipts and refer a friend if I want a “boost”. Not sure why they decided to text that, probably to get me to open their app again. I don’t use receipts I have a record of all my purchases right there in my banking app. Use Dave, they will actually help you if you need it. They sent me 75 bucks and I have used them a few times. Klover has not helped me one bit.

They have a clear issue with linking debit cards seeing as that they are they only ones with the issue, it's clearly not "our banks" problem. This issue with their system prevents you from being able to use their service. Which doesn't make sense because they are also the only ones who require you to link a debit card. Linking a bank account should be enough to get a delayed deposit! Maybe once they fix whatever issue they are having it will be worth while. For now I would not download.
