Do not buy this game. It's now a trading game for cash. Dev bias all time high with proof around the small community. Don't bother playing. Update as of Augast 2020, slow improvements but we're getting there. However bans are killing community as some are unjust with no way to appeal.

This game has changed a lot in the eight years I’ve been playing; change can be good. I’m exhausted with all the events, if I’m being honest. It’s the same thing over and over. I feel like a hamster on a wheel. They did recently release upgrade items as rewards from free chests. I average about $250/yr on this game and have little to show for it. I wish the forums were better organized and game play didn’t “require” additional apps to talk to other players and ATA support (Imgur, Line, etc.) The game is almost too basic “infrastructure” wise. I would love to see a search bar in the game’s marketplace!!! Or even a manual sort option for the showcase. (Ie I can sort out duplicates, items I want to use for trades, and items I want to keep.)

The game has seen a decline in all aspects at the fault of the developers of the game. I won't go monotone explaining these details as from reading the reviews below I feel satisfied with the explanation. The people and the community are what make me stay & the hope for better days for this once magical, and TRULY special game. As the game stands it deserves 1 star, but I hope the Devs take kindly my willingness to work with them (& the community) as to what should happen to the game (via REAL FEEDBACK IN FORUMS WITH POLLS AND SUCH). Please... don't let this game go into the abyss.

  • Fun game and meet lots of great people Nov 24, 2017

The game itself is fun to play and you can meet and make friends through clans. Negative side is like many games the fighting side has been dummied down to make room for constant specials that you have to spend money to advance to top. Tiers. If your clan is not full of big spenders it is hard to maintain clan loyalty. Wish developers would work on better warring systems. However I have been playing for years and would encourage others to try it. Learning curve is a little hard but there are many clans who cater to beginners.

This game I’ve played for almost 8 years. While it started out as a social interaction game, talking with people from all over the world, it has evolved into something a little more secular with groups of people competing against each other for a status. A status only recognizable by the groups themselves at times. I used to love the game and I still do but the social aspect is less desirable. Maybe it’s too much like real life lol

I have played this for 10 years +. In all my time I have never seen a game so corrupt, developers so biased nor moderators so unmoderated.. Until now.. If you are into racketeering, cyberbullying, stalking or otherwise making a profit in 3rd party apps selling accounts and charms for cash, well buddy this game is for you!

  • Don’t get this app Jul 21, 2020

So I’ve been playing this game for years and loved it. I invested lots of time and money into a few accounts. The problem is that ATA does not enforce their own Terms of Usage. In fact their own moderators are on third party apps buying and selling accounts and gear. This is the very thing they are supposed to stop. Not only that but look at their leader board. Most are bought accounts (against ToU) and have so much extra gear that there is no possible way to earn that legally. In a recent move an lb player was reported to drop thousands of dollars over a few days to mass up on charms. This was ignored while the player he was fighting was banned for botting. The player who used the bot, if tru, should be banned, by why give the other one a free pass when they obviously broke ToU. Another problem KaW has is that the things you spend money in game don’t always work. The Ally hide spell is a joke. There are people paying for subscriptions to see the ally hires of other players even when they have their ally spell on and don’t let it laps. This is a fun game ruined by the devs selective and ineffective enforcement of their own policies.

  • 10 years but change is needed in customer relations Aug 12, 2020

It’s sad when developers will ban accounts based on the perception of cheating because a group such as KOTFE sends mass complaints. Then the developers will not respond to the owner of these accounts even though he never cheats and has taken care to follow all TOU over the years. He can prove individual accounts, one per device with no bots, but they ignore his attempts to show proof. This is being done to accounts that have a lot of money and time tied up in them and deserve the chance to prove they are legitimate. The game is becoming very one sided, with most of the moderators even in that alliance and helping further these fake complaints. KAW is bordering on total corruption now. Its not irrecoverable but devs need to back off their favoritism and unban the accounts in question to start with. Then continue with an unbiased environment moving forward.

Developers team have their own moderators playing/working in game. Your personal info liker email and support tickects are shared with moderators that play the game as well. Figure yourself now, what are the riskes. No wonder account hacking and bannings are common things.

  • Literally back and forth Dec 23, 2018

Kaw has done a bad job with making new content, I’ve been playing for a while and the only that “new things” this game gets are recycled weekly events. You simply log on, hit on certain battles and then wait for your troops to become full and repeat. Rewards from this cycle grant equipment but the equipment from older weekly events are always worse than the ones from the newer weekly events. So the equipment is essentially useless. The silver bars gained are quite nice but unless you get into certain clans normal players won’t be able to rank high on weekly events. The mods in this game are sooooo bad. They silence you if you disagree with them. But on the bright side, there’s only two that talk in the world chat. In conclusion this game is an endless back and forth cycle of weekly events with a toxic community and no room for real growth and improvement.

I've been playing since 2011 and the fact that the player base is still up and bumping is a great sign. They still have many innovations that keep long time players committed and the new players something to aspire to get to. The entire community is so responsive and helpful, from the clans that you can join to the world chat. Overall a great app for the average person to spend time on.

  • One problem Jul 8, 2018

I picked up this game around last thanksgiving and I’ve really liked it. The community interaction the ebs and the pvp. The only problem is that I have to waste so much time trying to find mcs of what I’m trading for and sometimes I can’t even find the charms! It would be really great if you could make an indicator for how many mcs there are on each side of the trade especially since I’ve started to trade pets and thrones. Thx

i’ve played this game on and off over the years, just recently starting up again a month ago. the gameplay itself is repetitive but improving stats and luck based aspects keep the game all too dry. equipment can get sort of ridiculously underpowered as better items are released from events; my gear from events a couple years back were near useless when i hopped back on. by far my favorite part is the community, forming relations with fellow players. especially in the discord of quarantine, meeting people from around the globe is a pretty unique bonding experience of kaw. you don’t see that as much in other games.

I only find the fun in PvP, but it’s obvious the developers do not care about it, barley anyone does PvP now because the developers want you to spend money to hit “premium” Epic Battles (EB), nobody wants to fight, they just want gold (from these premium EBs), and if you want to do well in this game you WILL have to spend. Some players are blatantly cheating and the developers do not care because of the amount of money those players spend on this game. Other than that, I don’t have a problem with it. The only reason I’ve stayed around is because of the friends I’ve made, not because this game is just that great (anymore at least).
